An accidental find. Freshly made hot pizza served right out from oven, what more could we ask for during cold winter NYC. No hassle, friendly staff and flavorful simple pizza. Loved both the margarita and pepperoni pizzas.

Really good pizza I ordered Margarita and the pizza was great. It was amazing. The crust was amazing nicely floured they did give me extra olive oil to drizzle on it. And the prices are reasonable as well. It’s not too expensive. I would say it was around $14 for the pizza and 16 for the calzone. I did all the calzone but it wasn’t that great kind of bland from inside there was only cheese nothing else, but I think they can do it better it was I mean they accommodated my request of making vegetarian everything. I think they have some items in the menu that are vegetarian so that’s good but are all a nice place reasonable as well and must have pizza if you are around Central Park.

Neapolitan style pizza is actually healthy, not junk, it makes you feel good after eating it, instead of any other type of pizza, that makes you feel sluggish. I wish there were more Neapolitan pizzerias in NYC. This is a busy Midtown location. I was here on a Saturday evening before Christmas. There were too many people everywhere in Midtown, and at every pizza joints and cafes. The lady who takes your order is great, she is smiling through all the hustle and bustle and occasionally obnoxious customers. The pizza is great too, made in wood burning oven, tasty, service is efficient. Please open more locations, especially South of Houston, and closer to Central Park. Even better, come to Long Island City!

We searched for Neapolitan pizza and came across SIMO with a very high score, and after we tasted it, they indeed get the score they deserve. Recommended.

Simo Pizza was a fantastic find. The pizza was freshly made, bursting with flavor, and served up in no time. The staff were exceptionally friendly and focused on providing great service, which really added to the experience. Pricing was more than fair given the high quality of both the food and the space. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a clean, modern aesthetic—and I loved being able to watch the pizzas being prepared right in front of me. I'll absolutely be returning.

Paid a little over $16 for a personal Margherita pie. I was craving Neapolitan pizza after coming back from Italy, but it's just not the same 😔 Seating is limited.

Still my go-to spot for pre/post MOMA visits! Consistently delicious every time! Tho we have to say the funghi was a tad disappointing this time. Close your eyes and say "Napoli in 90seconds " twenty times and you'll have arrived!

Just to start if you're looking for the best neapolitan pizza in NYC this is not it; however, if you're looking for good Neapolitan pizza that you can get quickly as pick up or delivery, then this is honeslty really good. We wanted some tasty pizzas on a Wednesday night when it was raining, and from order to eating it was 25 minutes. The pies were fresh, both very tasty, and while it didn't live up to una pizza napoletana, very little does. I think this spot has an opportunity to be a go-to for the different pizzas, and while we liked the two pizzas we had so far, we have many more we want to try!

Napoletana pizza spot with multiple locations in NYC. Food is fresh, fast, and delicious. They offer a wide range of toppings on pre-designed pizzas, calzones, and salads. The pizzas cook up extremely fast, and you're often eating within 5-7 minutes of your order being placed. They also have desserts and drinks for purchase as well, but I've never tried any of them. The only drawback to this specific location is that's a little on the smaller side so seating is often hard to come by.

If you want a quick pizza...or a delicious salad, look no further than Simo Pizza. The service is quick/ friendly and the ambiance of the small eatery is quiet and relaxing. I had to order the same things I ordered the first time, because they're both SO GOOD! The orders were: Marinara Pie (san marzano tomato, oregano, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and basil). I cannot get enough of this pizza. The sauce is so flavorful and the spices dance in your mouth so nicely. The other order was the Insalata di Rucola (arugula, picorino romano, extra virgin olive oil, and lemon vinaigrette). The bitter arugula, mixed with the lemony dressing, makes this salad a great choice and it's a perfect accompaniment with the pizza. Simo Pizza will always be one my go-to quick NYC meal options and is highly recommended.

Great place for a quick bite! Delicious Neopolitan style pizzas and quick service. The ambiance is casual and clean. Highly recommend for the quality of the food'! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the pizza dough is so light that you don't feel heavy after eating this. Loved this place!!!

Stumbled upon simo and glad we did. We split one of the salads and it was very fresh with great flavors. We had the prosciutto pizza and my sister had the Margherita pizza. We all loved our pizza, the flavors were fresh and very tasty!

Nice flavor for the sauce, as we ordered a pepperoni pizza with Margarita toppings. Also fairly price for a small pie as we split 4 slices between 2 people. Crust was firm which is always a plus.

Really great pizza, but NB - this is not typical New York pizza. That said, if you are a fan of a marinara pizza (I am so a fan), then this place won't disappoint! I got two pies to go: the marinara and one with onion and sausage. Both were really good. The marinara was just slightly dry (maybe a little more olive oil), but both were delicious. Fast, friendly service, and I didn't have to wait too long. Nice, clean place. Do it.

Great pizza. Quick service. Nice staff. I had the margarita pizza which was good. I would like to come back and try others. Place is small but there are a few spots to sit. It's really just a quick, eat and go about your day type of spot which I like.

Really solid pizza, great sauce that doesn't rely on other toppings to carry flavor on the pizza. The crust was also great, not too doughy, but rather light and fluffy. Inside seating made it easy to grab a pie and sit down to enjoy.

Dropped in here in the wee hours of the evening just before closing time and they were still gracious enough to take our order (and several folks behind us). Pizza didn't take too long to make and came out hot and delicious (it didn't last more than a few NY blocks. While we were waiting we got to see them making and cutting the dough to proof for the next day. Really great Neapolitan style pizza. We honestly should have ordered two.

If you want a pizza whipped up from scratch, you'll be more than happy with Simo. The restaurant isn't set up for a lengthy stay. Most people got their pizzas and left immediately. There's just a handful of seats. When you order, they'll whip up an incredible, fresh pizza. I tried the Margherita ($14.90) and Prosciutto e Rucola ($17.20). I was surprised I preferred the Margherita. The prosciutto had a stronger flavor than I expected and I think it overpowered the overall slice. Simo was great and I'd happily return.

Hot & fresh - this pizza comes out fast and is a great quick lunch option. I had enough pizza for 2 servings. Staff is friendly and overall ambiance is nice. A casual spot for dining but popular for take out.

Great pizza but ambiance is Grundgy. Like a greasy spoon. The one near the Whitney is classier.

This place was some of my favorite pizza in New York. And that's saying something! It was honestly just super well made authentic Italian pizza (although I've never been to Italy so who am I to say). We went on Saturday around noon and there was no line and our pizza was ready in 5 minutes. All of the ingredients were super fresh too!

Just tried the Carnivore pizza and it is delicious. The service is friendly and very fast. I showed up early for the pickup but they made it immediately and once it is in teh oven, it only takes 90 seconds to cook a pizza. The size is also much larger than I was expecting given the prices. 3/4 of it and I am full for lunch. The only comment I would have is that I personally would have preferred a little bit more tomato sauce on this specific pizza.

This place has just a few seats for in-house dining. They do a hella carry out business and the za was delicious. The crust and San marzano tomato sauce were delicious with prosciutto and mushrooms on top. Service was friendly and the wait time was reasonable. Would definitely visit again!

If you've ever dreamed of stumbling into a cozy pizzeria in a tucked-away Italian village, this place is your dream come true! The atmosphere feels straight out of a postcard, and the food? The dough was perfectly chewy with just the right crisp, and the toppings were so fresh, I wouldn't be surprised if they were flown in from Italy that morning. You can tell they put so much love into every slice. It's not just a meal--it's an experience. Do yourself a favor: order the Margherita pizza, sip on a glass of wine, and pretend you're on a piazza in Rome. You'll thank me later!

Wow - this was incredible pizza. I just visited Italy this past year, and the pizza at Simò tasted almost exactly like what I had in Naples and Rome. The sauce and crust were both delicious and light. Each pizza is about the size of a personal pizza. Good to split between two people for a filling snack or light meal. I highly recommend this spot.

Cute little pizza spot around the corner from Radio City Music Hall. The pizza dough is delicious and the simple ingredients make it tasty! Definitely recommend the Italian soda too!

For fast made-to-order pizza, gluten-free, I enjoy this midtown spot just off sixth Avenue. Service is great (not apathetic workers) and felt clean. I ordered w plans to save half the pie but I unabashedly shoved the whole thing in one seating. Oh well. Worse things to do to your health in NYC that down some good pizza! Not a $1 slice but I don't care.

Took a second trip to the 52nd street Simo location. Same great service as first time. Very fast service. Took another one of my buddies with me who is a bit critical when it comes to pizza (hates heavy, thick crust pizza) and he rated his experience as excellent. I ordered the prosciutto and fungi this time. Absolutely liked it better than the carnivora from last time. I think that after all I am not a pepperoni lover, lol!

Excellent Neapolitan Pizza. Cacio E Pepe was near perfect with a kick of pepper. Ambiance made you feel like you were in Napoli. Great choice if you want something quick and tasty.

I thought it was gonna be amazing just by the way it looked, and I was correct... Highly recommend if you're going to museum of modern art. MOMA

Been going to their first Meatpacking location for years, so when I spotted this new location after an event at the Paley Center, I was so happy! Simo has some of the best pizza in the city... this incredible mash-up of Napoli-quality ingredients with NYC quickness. I'm obsessed with their trio, where you get a sample of their Margherita, pesto, and cacio e pepe. Dreaming about it all over again. 5 stars!!!!

So good we ate here twice on our recent visit to NYC. Both times we had the prosciutto pizza and the insalata chopped. The salad was fresh and had the perfect proportion of ingredients. Pizza was perfect. The service was friendly and quick. Great experience!

Amazing Neapolitan style pizza. The crust is so airy and light. Its a very casual spot with some seating inside. My order came out in 10 minutes and food was delicious.

Ordered the PROSCIUTTO E RUCOLA. It was way more food than I had anticipated getting for the price. I was able to share this with another person and we were stuffed. The prosciutto was fresh and the greens were abundant. Nothing extraordinary, nothing to complain about.

This review is for delivery. The order came quicker than anticipated on seamless. I ordered the tri color pizza, a combo of pesto, margarita, and caccio peppe. The neopolitan pizza was delicious, especially with the sausage and black olive toppings. It was a decent size and could potentially be shared by 2 people. I only take away one star because when the pizza arrived, it was not remotely warm more like room temperature.

They took super long and even forgot my order and had me waiting while everyone else came and picked up their order

Lucky this place is next to my office. Delicious pizza. Even the gluten free! Have tried a few of them and all are great. Such friendly service too.
