"Simon & Joe’s offers items such as kosher pizzas, burekas or Israeli stuffed pastries, and sambusaks, which are Middle Eastern turnover pastries. Pizza de la rosa, topped with tomato sauce, olive oil, eggplant and red onion, is one of the restaurant’s more popular dishes." - Agnes Poliquin

Horrible experience. They made me a wrong order and the grouchy lady in the front says this is how they made it and you have to take it. She forced me to take them and charged my cc The large is the size of medium. For two wrong pizza they charged me over $68 !! WTH Stay away from this place... Look at the picture of pizza. some of the slices dont even have the topping. it looks like a 2 year old made this.

I don’t even know where to start... the white “waitress” also the cook also the cashier also the cleaning.. (she was alone) as soon as we walked in she did a face to us like asking us to leave. We wanted just to get breakfasts and coffee on our way back home to LA. There was no milk, just filter (disgusting) coffee, they didn’t have everything in the menu, as soon as We had a conversation with her I asked my fiancé to leave the place! But we were in a rush and there is no other kosher place near to stop by on our way home. We stayed, ordered (she gave attitude while ordering and even wanted to charged me a full plate for a side of ONE Egg to my quesadillas), I was just PRAYING TO HASHEM we wouldn’t get food poison and for she would not spit on our food! We finally ate, food was nearly OK, no taste no fresh and just a poor mediocre service overall. The lady was in the kitchen and only walked out when we screamed at her to come out to give us the check, in the kitchen she was screaming and having a conversation with a guys who just walked in and went straight to the kitchen, I hope he worked there but he didn’t look like he does nor he ever uses gloves or kitchen covers... AND THE WORST we finally saw in the cashier counter THEIR KOSHER CERTIFICATE WAS EXPIRED FOR A MONTH! And I don’t understand who would ever give them ONE! They must shut it down. FLOOR, WALLS AND TABLES WERE DIRTY. FROM ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS I READ, I UNDERSTOOD THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT OWNER NOW, who apparently does not care about the business...

If you're looking for a great tasting casual kosher pizza place, this is the perfect place for you! The staff are friendly and it's a cute family-run kosher business.

Nice and cozy place, yet pizza was very oily and the topic was too little for the price. The people couldn't even talk proper English. I asked for soup and didn't understand why I couldn't have soup.

Dined here once. Food was good overall. Not all of the menu dishes were available. Sweet potato fries were delicious. White pizza was good. Tuna salad was OK. S&J burrito was good, though I think it was lacking some ingredients listed in the menu description. Greek salad was good. Prices were moderately high. Portions were small for the costs. Service was OK. Workers would disappear into the kitchen, often leaving the counter unattended for long periods. We had to go to the kitchen doorway to get someone to take our order. Only one other group of customers was there when we arrived. As more customers entered, the counter was manned more steadily. I saw workers preparing food with their bare hands. Atmosphere was OK. Definitely not formal. Substandard feel. Dimly lit. This pizzeria is one of the few kosher, dairy restaurants in Las Vegas.

I gave the place 2 stars only because the pizza we ordered was good, but everything else was terrible. We waited like 50 minutes for our food, we also ordered pasta which seemed like they had dumped tomato sauce in it and put it in the oven with cheese. There was one guy taking orders, acting as a waiter and accepting payments. People were waiting for all three of those things because of that. There was the weirdest vibe ever inside the place and so there is no chance we'll go back there.

I am not generally a picky person when it comes to food or restaurants, but I will not be returning to this one or giving them my business on the future. First of all the inside of the restaurant is dark, quiet, worn down and embarrassing!!! I am horrified that people could think this is what a kosher restaurant looks like. Have some pride in your place! Secondly I ordered the burrito, and actually went there just to get it. I was told it would take 25 minutes to make it, but decided to wait. The burrito was $18!!! And is described as…”Flour tortilla stuffed with Cheddar cheese, retried beans, onions, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and avocado, served with pico de gallo on the side.” Ok guys…. For $18 you expect a giant burrito the kind that you take half home, right? This thing was tiny, wimpy had tons of (mozzarella) cheese, a few black beans, diced tomatoes and LETTUCE COOKED IN THE OVEN. It was wilted and disgusting. And it was served with jarred salsa on the side and a guacamole cup (not even taken out of the cup) I encourage the owner to read all of these negative reviews and take them seriously to make some changes or I suspect your restaurant won’t be open much longer. I will caution anyone I know visiting vegas to avoid this place altogether.

This place needs a MAJOR makeover both for ambiance and food. Firstly, it’s sooo quite- needs some background music or something- it was like eating awkwardly with strangers in a library. Food- 3/10 overall. Pizza sauce is bland needs more flavor; nachos were literally some chips and overcooked mozzarella- worth about $3 not $14. Salad was decent, no room for error I guess. Kapachuri- was flavorless as well. This restaurant should do better for the prices, even considering that it is kosher and that tends to always be up priced. Felt like I gave a donation/ highway robbery honestly. I hope they do better. Has potential, needs more thought and care for the place and food. I hope this review helps this restaurant do better and change.
