"During the holiday season, Woodstock, Vermont, already feels like a Hallmark movie set...a romantic dinner of cider-brined pork chops and spiced apple cake at nearby Simon Pearce, a famous glassmaker with a stunning restaurant overlooking the dramatic mill falls." - Stasia Brewczynski

"The company’s flagship store and restaurant in Quechee is an adventure unto itself. It occupies a historic mill overlooking a picturesque dam, Mill Pond Falls, and the Quechee Covered Bridge. Most days if you come early for a 6 p.m. dinner reservation, you can watch glassblowers at work, shop the allegedly imperfect seconds, and then have a creative cocktail at the bar. The restaurant’s atmosphere is simply grand, with floor-to-ceiling windows, brick walls, and polished wooden floors. Much of its menu rotates seasonally, possibly including horseradish-crusted cod or vegetable pappardelle with wild mushrooms, though some signatures like a creamy Vermont cheddar soup remain constant." - Valerie Li Stack

Had a date night here while visiting for the weekend. It definitely lived up to the hype. The views were beautiful while we enjoyed a delicious dinner. The service was great and the atmosphere was very romantic. Didn't think we'd have room for desert but our meals were excellent that we opted to enjoy desert as well! Made sure to check out the glass as well which was so so pretty.

Honestly, I thought I had already written a review for this place. I have eaten here countless times, and we always have a great time. The atmosphere is unbeatable. Touring the glassblowing shop is amazing. The views of the falls will take your breath away. Lately, I have enjoyed the drinks more than the entrees, but the menu changes constantly, so don't worry.

I went to lunch on Sunday with my three sisters. I had made reservations in advance and requested a window seat. We had a beautiful view of the river. I had not eaten there in five years and the food was still as wonderful as I remembered it. Creative menu and considering the type of meal you were getting, fairly priced. Our waitstaff person was perfectly trained. Her recommendations were spot on. She was even willing to make a change for a person who did not like an ingredient in a salad. Dessert did not disappoint as well. I look forward to coming back the next time that I am in the area.

The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, the store is stunning, the restaurant is cozy and the service is superb. We tried the cheese sample appetizer and it was very good. We truly enjoyed the chocolate cake and crème brûlée desserts. However some of our entrees had room for improvement. Both the crab cake and cod were fresh and delicious but it was missing a citrus component. The chicken was slightly under seasoned and the duck was a bit overcooked. In spite of this, we had a lovely evening and would highly recommend dining here. The gift shop is marvelous but very overpriced.

Great place for lunch! We did have reservations. We had the salmon and the lamb sheperd’s pie. The restaurant is really pretty with excellent service. When you are done eating you can do some shopping, go down and watch the glass blowers, and step outside and see the waterfall. Highly recommend.

Google
Such a unique setting, both with the covered bridge and water feature and the glass studio next door. The food was outstanding. I wish I lived closer because I would like to enjoy the food again. This day we had the salmon and crab cakes.

This place is worth the hype (and the cost). Beautiful views, delicious dishes, and great drinks. We started with the VT cheddar soup. It is delicious on its own but we asked for bread to dip into it and it made it that much better. The baguette style bread was great. The (I think) rye style left a lot to be desired. Next up was our main courses: half roasted chicken and NY Strip steak. Both were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and, even when full, we couldn’t stop eating them. Even though we were beyond full, we ended with the pavlova for dessert since you rarely see that on a menu! Thankfully, it was as delicious as I remember and my friends loved it as well. Why the 4-stars for service? The waitress did almost forget to bring our bread and we asked for no walnuts on the dessert and it was served with them. None of us had an allergy so we were fine eating it. Otherwise she was great.

Last summer we tried to have lunch here at the Simon Pierce restaurant in Quechee, Vermont. But we could not get a table since we did not have a reservation. So, this year I booked us a table in advance and we throughly enjoy the experience. Wonderful atmosphere, service and food! If you ever visit, be sure to go downstairs and watch the local artist creating the crystal glassware in the basement. Simon Pierce is known for its exquisite hand made crystal glassware and ceramic ware as well. It’s all stunning!

Yelp
My family and I had a wonderful experience celebrating my dad's birthday at Simon Pearce. Such a cool spot! We had reservations for a late lunch and were seated by a window when it was our time. Beautiful views of the river, and just beautiful atmosphere overall. The silverware they use is of course by Simon Pearce, and it was cool to know it was made there! For food I had the sesame chicken with noodles. The chicken was tender and the flavor was delicious. I especially enjoyed the noodles~ they were light and complimentary to the chicken. My fiancé had the beef stew and said it was nice and hearty for a cold day. He just wished there was a side of rice or bread to go with it, but that was just his personal preference. My mom and sister got the salmon and they both raved about it. Finally, my dad got the steak and of course really enjoyed that~ it was cooked to his liking and the sides were delicious. Overall we really enjoyed our food and overall experience and will 100% be coming back! Not to mention the glass blowing downstairs is such an awesome attraction/thing to do before or after the meal. And there's also a lookout porch area to view the river and gorge. Great for pictures!!

Yelp
From walking in the door to paying the bill, nothing disappointed. We were there to celebrate our 29th anniversary and, taking note without prompting, the general manager Nick managed to secure a table for us by the window looking out on the river. Our server Megan was efficient and cheerful, and had excellent suggestions. Everything from the Vermont cheddar soup to the mussels in an incredible sauce with a generous portion of challah for soaking up the sauce, to the lamb shepherd's pie that actually tasted like lamb, to the crème brûlée that rivaled the one my husband had in Paris, all were exceptional. Truly a wonderful experience and cannot wait to come back.

Ariana A.

Yelp
Food is okay - the overall experience is better. I liked exploring the premises to see the waterfall outside and watching the glassblowing. I imagine view is beautiful in the autumn months. I would come back for drinks then.

Kathleen W.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in an idyllic New England setting that sets the scene for an excellent meal. The specialty drinks were outstanding, and the food was super yummy. We came for lunch on a Monday and had no trouble with parking. Reservations are a MUST for this place no matter when you plan to visit. The service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was quiet and we appreciated the use of Simon Pearce glassware in the table settings.

Pat P.

Yelp
Excellent customer service including the hostess, our server, Suzanne. The food was exceptional! We had the burrata app, the horseradish-crusted cod, and short ribs. A very special place and I'd highly recommend!

Aleksandar K.

Yelp
What an experience! If you're looking for a place to wow visitors with exquisite food and ambiance this is the upper valley spot. There are great views of the river and waterfalls, home goods store, and a glass blowing factory tour all in one facility Food: Mushroom bread 5/5 Amazing sweetness of a challah roll with the balance of truffle oil and greens- great! Gnocchi 4.5/5 Sweet potato gnocchi with greens, amazing flavors but just can get a little repetitive for a full dish- great to share Lamb burger 4.5/5 Very good and juicy Calamari 4.5/5 Crust and unique spicy flavor Ambiance: Amazing waterfall and service

Andres A.

Yelp
Simon Pearce is the home base of all the Simon Pearce Glass stores. They create amazing glass pieces at this factory. In addition to their glass factory they also have an amazing restaurant as well. We are at the restaurant and had the most amazing meal. For starters we had the parsnip soup which was so velvety good. For our entrees my girlfriend had the horseradish cod fish and I had the Angus NY sirloin which was cooked perfectly, served with mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. For dessert we had the Pavlova which was delicious. The service was top notch, everything perfectly served. Excellent attention to detail. The table we were given was with the view of the beautiful waterfall. The setting was very romantic.

Kenneth B.

Yelp
The food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and everything arrives just in time. Try to sit by the window to get great view of the waterfall.

Sara M.

Yelp
I have been to Simon Pearce, in Quechee, Vt, 3 times I think but apparently never wrote a review. It is a lovely place though recently suffered some severe damage in a hurricane/ flood. The interior is all repaired but the waterfall had damaged so much around, outside, it is barely recognizable. The Bridge over the river there had to be rebuilt. The rocks under the waterfall are all exposed, the sandy bottom sculpted into waves. Eventually it should be back to normal outside but at least it is already back to normal inside. We were visiting recently, again able to still see the glass blowers working as that level of the historic building had been under water. The displays of glassware, whether useful serving pieces or art decor are always beautiful. For the first time, I did not purchase anything during my visit, but I nearly did. My house has plenty of decor, several pieces from here and maybe now, that is enough. These are not trinkets, this is art glass. But I was truly tempted. The one sad thing we discovered was that there was no way possible for us to have our lunch in their wonderful restaurant where I have eaten twice before. It was full, and full for the whole day, no waitlist even available. I do not know how far in advance you need to get reservations these, but you clearly do need them. Not surprising given how good their food is, as I knew from my previous meals. So we wandered on to Woodstock on our fall tour, to find a meal.E

Lisa M.

Yelp
Food and service outstanding! Location stunning overlooking the waterfall, the covered wooden bridge or the river that runs alongside. We enjoyed the duck which was perfectly prepared along with lamb shanks that were fall off the bone tender. The house Pinot Noir paired wonderfully and poured in Simon Pearce wine glasses was delicious! Caught a glimpse of the one and only Simon Pearce! He has reason to be proud of his glass blown products displayed in the store and around the restaurant! Had the pleasure of witnessing a surprise engagement as well as two gorgeous hot air balloons. Megan our waitress was on point!

Jim F.

Yelp
A great place to eat, especially if you need a few $85.00 wine glasses to take home afterwards! Be sure to catch a server who is having a good day, we didn't. The food was delicious and impeccably prepared. No kidding, and the scenery out of our window was epic.

Divya M.

Yelp
Went for brunch - gorgeous setting, delicious New American / comfort food, warm service. And fun post food activities at the store and glass blowing demo! Book way in advance but definitely worth it.

Andy B.

Yelp
Pricey but fabulous! Simon Pearce has it all. Great to food, superb atmosphere and friendly service. I started with the Vermont Cheddar soup which was rich with flavor. The Atlantic Cod entree was cooked to perfection, it was served over mashed potatoes and also dressed with brussel sprouts. I had the Crispy dry cider draft as my cocktail. It was very good. Simon Pearce is a must visit when in the White River Junction/Woodstock area.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Came here for graduation dinner and it was prix fixe. The food was decent but not worth the price. Service was pretty slow even though we were one of the few parties there at the end. We ended up getting the dessert to go since it was taking too long. Restaurant had a nice ambience and decor and enjoyed seeing the glass work.

Clara M.

Yelp
This was a very unique experience- in a good way! I had no idea that this venue does their own glass blowing & used the waterfall to power their operations. Not only do they blow their own glass but they also have a store where they sell their merchandise. After you're done browsing the store they have a lovely (but pricey) dining area. I ordered the duck & my husband ordered the steak - both were fresh & perfectly cooked. For dessert I ordered the pavlova & hubby got the maple crème brûlée! Service was excellent! 10/10 experience!

Steffini A.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks served in/on Simon Pearce glassware. The ambiance is incredible, as this restaurant sits right along the Quechee River. Few things are more peaceful to me than watching flowing water. During the busy season you do need to make a reservation a few weeks in advance if you'd like to get dinner. We got a lunch spot since that's all they had available 1 week prior. Once in, the service is great. The staff is very accommodating to allergies and don't make you feel like an inconvenience for making special requests. The food is delicious and the menu is small, but diverse enough that there is something for everyone.

Haley C.

Yelp
Wanna feel belittled and feel like you aren't enough? Go talk to the host here, she will let you know. Wish I could have tried the food but the face of the restaurant is nasty.

Steve G.

Yelp
Sort of old fashioned place in an industrial setting. I guess more a tourist attraction than a restaurant. Food was ok not great; service was good. Would not go back but fun to try once.

Stacie W.

Yelp
Went there with my sister in laws for "girls" lunch. Service was excellent and the view outside is very scenic. Ordered various lunch menus. All were very delicious, grilled chicken salad the chicken was a little bland. However I ordered the crispy clamari salad and it was excellent. The calamari was light & crispy, the dressing was very tasty. Be sure to make reservations!

David R.

Yelp
Last minute decision to make a lunch reservation on Fourth of July worked out nicely. Went antiquing, grabbed some craft beer nearby, hiked the gorge and then had a wonderful lunch overlooking the Ottaquechee River.

Lisa W.

Yelp
We initially wanted to come here for dinner but didn't have reservations and the bar looked cooler. So we came when the bar opened and had a few cocktails. I got the old fashion. My friends got mahanttan and espresso martini. The cocktails were excellent and made very well. They also serve dinner menu at the bar starting at 5:30. We didn't really see anything we liked so we just got some mussels to share. The mussels were quite delicious. But I wish they put the fries on the side or to one side because it just got really soggy after a few minutes. But mussels were fresh and broth was flavorful. Great views too! There's a glass shop too but it's super pricey. Like one martini glass was over $100. The quality did seem thicker and nicer since I think SP is brand name for glassware.

Martie W.

Yelp
A beautiful view. Rude, almost arrogant, maitre d'. Waiter was very business-like, almost unfriendly. Food was good. Dining area was extremely loud. It was difficult to have a conversation due to the volume level. At this price point I expect a much better dining experience. Overall, I was disappointed and have no intention of returning.

Natalie S.

Yelp
We had a 2pm reservation for lunch. The place was fairly quiet which was nice. The restaurant overlooks some water & scenic views. They have a nice menu with a variety of salads, appetizers (calamari, pork belly bao ), soup (Vermont cheddar) and entrees. My friend and I shared the lamb burger and the fish cakes. I thought the lamb burger was excellent. The lamb comes from a nearby farm. The fish cakes were good and came with some salad greens. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Larry S.

Yelp
Years years back we traveled to VT and made a destination the glas factory as it was our "glass" anniversary. We discovered they had a wonderful little restaurant that looked over the river and waterfall. We have been traveling back to VT and we decided to return and see of the charm was still there. And it was! This showroom, glass works and history provided though stories posted throughout are worth visiting just for their own interested. The dining options include a fully enclosed outside porch that offers views of the wonderfully Vermont covered bridge, waterfall and waterways. Now the food. Simple prepared chicken which was delicious to a flavorful Hake prepared so I could enjoy the fish!. We loved the salad, which the staff split onto two plates which was a just right portion. And then a peach Melba sorbet was a perfect end to a meal on a very hot day. There is a local maker of these specialty sorbets and the staff was thrilled to tell us about them. And the staff, friendly and fun and focused on making sure you were enjoying your meal. We did!!

Jae P.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Upper Valley area. All the dishes we ordered were flavorful, with some favorites being the lamb and the seafood stew. The dessert menu is also delicious with locally made ice cream being served as well. Being located in the glass shop makes it a fun experience as you can checkout the glass being made downstairs, look at the different products being sold in the first floor, and also checkout the waterfall outside. Service is also very friendly and attentive as well.

April L.

Yelp
Horrible dining experience. They ran out of homemade pasta and never told us. Instead they just served the dish with cork screw pasta. It was god awful. I would never return to this extremely overrated restaurant.

Mich R.

Yelp
I've been here many times before and it was okay. This time I was not impressed at all. I ordered the butternut squash soup and Caesar salad those were great the salad was microscopic but okay sure. Then I ordered the duck confit it came with Brussel sprouts and lentils. The brussels sprouts tasted like they were in the fridge left over from two days ago mushy but hard ant the same time they were cold and so were the lentils dry and not cooked enough yet wasn't fresh. I asked the waitress was this suppose to be cold she said it's more room temp. Is it suppose to be like that ? She said yea. Why would anyone want tepid food ? At least the duck leg was great. In addition I ordered the short rib it came on a corn risotto . So why corn I don't know the risotto was cold had no taste. The gravy from the short rib didn't make it better it made the short rib so dry and tasteless . It was so upsetting I drove an hour to get there on time I made a long trip from New York to show my mom the ambiance over the water and sunset. The waitress tried to offer dessert to compensate but we don't eat sugar so that was the end of that. No apology or compensation was given. No effort to make it right. I hate complaining but I just felt they didn't care at all . I don't get the hype prob won't return I for so many other amazing places that actually put love and care into their food and business . That was a waste oh well never again.

John A.

Yelp
Don't know how you could give Simon Pearce less than a five. Awesome meals, ambiance, location alongside the waterfall and covered bridge in Quechee. We've eaten here many times. This time lunch was a lamb dish, with a crabcake appetizer. We know our crabcakes. This was the best we ever had. Lamb was scrumptious. Wine served in handblown chalice. What more could you ask for?

Megan M.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere, great food. Wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Lorelei C.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in all of New England is the Simon Pearce headquarters in Quechee VT. The glass creations they make here are amazing and the seconds area in the back can always produce a bargain. I also love that they invite you into the basement to see how the glass is made. It feels like every single glass maker is kind and friendly as they show you how they do it. All of that would be enough of a draw for me, but when you add to it the on-sight restaurant - this place is over-the-top amazing. Most tables overlook a river and a waterfall and a covered bridge. The menu offers everything from fancy to comfort food items and everything is great. I recommend the Vermont Cheddar soup. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Everything is great! Note: make sure you come with a reservation.

Carli W.

Yelp
We dined here this evening and wanted to love it. But we just didn't. We were seated in what I assume to be the most magical table in the place - directly in front of the stunning views of the waterfall. Breathtaking! The bread was good - 2 rolls and a few pieces of a brown bread. Decent start. The menu is small - which I typically love. It typically means the few things they do, they do perfectly. This was just not the case here. The Vermont cheddar soup was delicious. The winter salad was good - it was unfortunately overdressed and uninspired. My husband and I both ordered the ravioli du jour - which was supposed to be spinach and cherry with Parmesan in a brown butter sauce. 1. There was no sauce. A small drizzle of brown butter over pan fried ravioli that were tough to even cut and had a horrible chewy consistency. 2. There were no cherries, rather, it seems they substituted with cranberries instead which was odd and not mentioned to us beforehand. 3. The ravioli were stuffed with smoked cheddar cheese and cranberries. There was a pile of bland spinach with cranberries in the middle of the plate. It was so underwhelming. They could have added some goat cheese to the winter salad, underdress it (and serve some on the side) and put some salt and pepper in the dressing. The spinach should have been sautéed with garlic at least. I added salt and pepper twice. My husband loves creme brûlée and we get it almost everywhere we go if it's on the menu. We had the maple creme brûlée and again - left something to be desired. There must have been a tiny bit of maple put on top and then brûléed - the first bite or two, I was SEARCHING for the maple and it was nearly undetectable. After chewing the brûlée'd bit - there was the most subtle hint of maple. Our waitress Sue was a doll! Views were incredible. Would consider trying again for brunch or lunch during the daytime. Glass shop is gorgeous! Wish the dinner we had was as beautiful.

Jill P.

Yelp
I attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at Simon Pearce during a Nor'easter on December 16th. The food was truly amazing! I had braised beef tips on risotto - and it was the BEST braised beef tips I have ever had. Dessert was apple cake or crème brûlée. Both were fabulous - but if anything, I'd say the crème brûlée was too large. (I know - what a thing to "complain" about...) and yes - I had both! Everything was fabulous the setting of course is gorgeous, the staff was very pleasant and I suspect they all wanted to get headed home as the roads were treacherous - but never a hint of impatience. Just fabulous!

Darcy S.

Yelp
Never disappoints ! Delicious food, good service and a fun place to shop . Watch the glass blowing if it's your first time

Amy D.

Yelp
We SO wanted this to be the highlight of our trip, but sadly it was not. We had reservations at 7pm on Saturday, Oct. 1st. We purposely arrived early to watch glass blowing, browse the glassware, take pictures by the falls, and have a couple of drinks at the bar. We were able to do all of that. The bar had good energy and the drinks were lovely. Then we were seated in the restaurant. The room was stark, with horrible flooring and furniture. It was such a mis-match from the rest of the place. Our server had no personality whatsoever. I ordered the kale salad, which I would highly recommend. It didn't even taste like kale! My wife had the salad with blue cheese and said there was not enough blue cheese at all. We split the Cod, which tasted good, but didn't look so appetizing on the plate with the balsamic gravy (see pic). Overall, we were very underwhelmed.

Yelp
In 1981, Irish artisan Simon Pearce relocated from Kilkenny to the small town of Quechee, Vermont just west of Hanover, New Hampshire and purchased the hydro-powered Quechee Mill on the Outtaquechee River. Today, Quechee Mill serves as the flagship store of the Simon Pearce glassmaking business -- with a large retail showroom exhibiting the entire range of Simon Pearce glass products, an moderately-upscale restaurant cantilevered over the river offering creative American cuisine made from fresh locally-sourced ingredients, and a glass-blowing demonstration facility that produces many of the smaller pieces available for sale in the retail store. My wife is a big fan of Simon Pearce's products and visiting the flagship location in Vermont has been on our 'to do' list for a while. Simon Pearce specializes in exquisite (and expensive) hand-made glassware. Every item is a unique, highly decorative piece that retains individual characteristics reflecting the intensive skill and labor required by the glassblowers (which do affect the price for this unique keepsake from your visit to Vermont). The restaurant offers locally-inspired cuisine served by friendly and knowledgeable staff in a moderately-upscale ambiance. The view of the Outtaquechee River gorge and the Quechee Covered Bridge is phenomenal and all of the tableware is produced by Simon Pearce and available for you to purchase in the adjacent showroom. The menu offers something for everyone - including vegan and gluten-free options. My dining companion and I both ordered off the Daily Special menu. I opted for the Curry Chicken Salad, served over greens; my dining companion ordered the Quiche of the Day, served with greens. We both those our choices were very tasty, satisfying portions, and reasonably priced given the environment. We'll definitely be back, next time we're in the area. Pro Tip: With lots of fragile and expensive items within a toddler's reach throughout the store, this isn't a child-friendly environment so leave your young children at home.

Michael S.

Yelp
Amazing service and very friendly staff, you can see they love their work. Great bustling ambiance and pleasant views of the falls while dining. The food was very good and nice presentations all in all really great value for the whole dining experience....will visit again

Charlie G.

Yelp
Another fantastic meal at Simon Pearce. My wife had the vegetable gnocchi and loved it. Lots of mushrooms and squash. She enjoyed every bite. I had the sesame chicken with noodles (Simon Pearce staple dish) and it was incredibly delicious. Dessert consisted of the maple crème brûlée and the lemon cake with strawberry sauce and mango sorbet. Both dishes were fantastic. Again...you cannot beat the consistency that this place delivers. Amazing meal!

Anthony M.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service. My wife and I celebrated our 6-year wedding anniversary here and it was perfect. The hand-blown glassware was beautiful and provided a nice atmosphere.

Luke F.

Yelp
I've been coming to Simon Pearce with my parents since I was 2 years old, and we were all thrilled to go back on a recent visit to the area. If you can, sit on the screened-in deck and enjoy the views of the waterfall and covered bridge-- it makes the experience that much more special. Simon Pearce has always had a great, fairly small menu but with something for everyone. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we opted to come back for lunch a couple of days later. The cuisine is contemporary American, with flavors from all over the world incorporated into the dishes. I enjoyed the Indian spiced prawns appetizer, as well as the chèvre and ricotta agnolotti. All meals come with some excellent house made Irish brown bread and either dinner rolls or the other-worldly "Rory's scones," depending on when you're there. This time, dinner was served with rolls and lunch with scones. Be sure to check out the factory store for some beautiful hand-blown glassware!

Jenn H.

Yelp
The food and view from our table was excellent. I ordered the fish cakes and they were delicious, very bright lemon. My mom got the quiche and said it was excellent. She had to ask numerous times for a coffee refill and to get more creamer for it. It was my birthday and while we were eating out dessert, the host came and stuck a birthday decoration toothpick in our blueberry crisp. I don't think staff should be interacting with your food while you're eating it. Overall, the lunch was terrific. The food was well worth a return visit. I loved the Simon Pearce tableware.

Martini M.

Yelp
Great food and drink's which are served in glassware available in the shop. Many options and attentive service.

Stacey M.

Yelp
From start to finish you know you're in for a delicious and consistent meal complete with attentive service and divine stemware

Brooks H.

Yelp
Great glass blowing experience. Beautiful products. Seconds are well worth the price.

Shani C.

Yelp
The food here is great and the location/view are unbeatable. The website says reservations are recommended, but I would say they are required. Had a bad crossed-wires sort of experience today where we were told to wait around for an hour + to see if there might be a table. At the end of the waiting there was not. All fine -- but don't leave people hanging! We were not the only party in this situation. So make a reservation if you want to dine here!

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
We always ask for a table by the window , so as to enjoy the powerful waterfall that provides hydro electric for the building, and the glass production . The wine selection and menu are superb, and the tabletop is all Simon Pearce !

Paul R.

Yelp
We had an amazing lunch here on Thursday. Casey, our server was lovely and attentive throughout our dining experience. We can't wait to come back.

Nico L.

Yelp
The food was delicious and super inventive and interesting. Worth going out of your way to be sure.

Corinne R.

Yelp
Came here for a special birthday brunch- as usual the restaurant is gorgeous! Our waitress was a little bit abrupt though. Food wise- very nice! The whipped feta toast was the only thing I would come back for, bread was crispy and fluffy with perfect amount of topping.

Anat S.

Yelp
Great restaurant 5/5 all around. The location is amazing with spectacular views on the river. Service is friendly and professional. Parking is easy and food is outstanding. Everything we ordered was tasty. The bread is fresh and warm. The cheddar soup was interesting. The gnocchi and roasted broccoli very tasty. Cod and duck amazing. The seasonal chocolate dessert was outstanding. This place is really a must when visiting Vermont.
