"Arlington’s chic coffee shop with a welcoming patio out front has quickly become an all-day neighborhood favorite for seasonal drinks, matcha lattes, honey rooibos affogato, sandwiches built on homemade focaccia, and a curated selection of wine and beer. Retail shelves up front are stocked with bagged beans from Falls Church roaster Rarebird. A second location arrived in 2023 in D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood." - Tierney Plumb

Love the cafe vibe here! Pet-friendly cafe w/ free treats at the counter 🙂 I ordered their Iced Americano & Lemon Lavender Scone and was able to do some work. They have music playing in the background but overall, it’s very quiet so you can listen to your own music without any issues. They also have beautiful outdoor seatings and seemed to be really popular with people especially when weathers nice outside 🌞

🌸 I didn't know I was the type of person who would enjoy a cafe until I visited Simona Cafe! Every food item was delicious, and the avocado toast was my absolute favorite! The cafe features a nice patio that's half indoor and half outdoor, creating a peaceful and relaxing vibe. I highly recommend Simona Cafe for a delightful and serene dining experience! ** I'm an emoji Google local guide in DCA areas if you want more reviews, don't forget to follow my account. 😊 **

Simona is simply a gem. Whether it’s starting my day with their perfect coffee and breakfast or unwinding in the evening with wine and cheese, the ambiance never disappoints. The vibe is warm and inviting, making it a place I love to spend time in. Their matcha with almond milk is hands down the best I’ve ever had—it’s a must-try! The staff goes above and beyond with their exceptional friendliness, and the owner’s hands-on approach ensures that everyone feels like family. Simona has truly created a home away from home.

Google
Simona Cafe is the best brick-and-mortar coffee shop in NoVA. It's always incredibly busy, but the staff are very attentive and work quickly. They are great about making sure you get what you want - I asked for a lightly sweetened orange blossom latte and they told me how many grams of syrup are normal (25) and asked how many I wanted (10). It ended up perfect! I got the NoVA open faced salmon sandwich on focaccia and it was well balanced and tasty, and the same goes for the scones I've had there. My one note is that their wine prices are too high. I love the charm of this place but can't help but hope that they open another location in Shirlington!

Google
We searched for a breakfast place with good coffee in Arlington and found this one at the end of a residential area. The café has a lovely patio that will be perfect for enjoying breakfast when the weather is nice. We arrived as soon as it opened and it quickly became full, as the inside of the café was small. The shop was beautifully decorated with small fresh flowers on each table and greens on the shelves, giving it an organic and inviting feel. The white walls and light wood-toned furniture made the ambiance cozy and welcoming. The coffee tasted great, with a signature creamy flavor with earthy and slightly sweet notes. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious, with house-made focaccia bread that added a nice crunch. We preferred the Tyler sandwich, which had cured pork and more flavor and texture than the Wilson sandwich. We also tried the Chocolate Scone, but it was dry and broke into powdery pieces, which we didn't enjoy. However, this didn't affect our overall experience at the café. Clearly, this café was very popular with everyone, including dogs. We appreciated the staff and barista making the perfect coffee and ensuring our dining experience was great at this lovely café this morning.

Google
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The people that work here are phenomenal and like to know their customers by name and orders. The orange blossom latte is bomb (hot or iced)! Now, I am a honest person and I will tell you I did not think I would like it. My homegirl had the drink first (iced) and when she asked if I wanted to try it - I immediately said no thanks (bad experience with some sort of orange latte from another coffee place). However, the next time I went I decided to give it a shot (iced) and baby!!!!! I have been getting that dang thing since it first appeared on the spring menu lol Trust me you want to go here!

Google
I love the coffee here, and the vibe is really good too. They give you a real cup of coffee if you dine-in which makes for a much better experience and no plastic and unnecessary waste like in many other coffee places. I’m returning here often now, my favourite coffee place in the area.

Such a delightful spot for coffee lovers, with great food options. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommended!! 👌🏻❤️

Yelp
I was looking for a good coffee spot in Arlington. I live in Alexandria and we have several places that I really like. As I was meeting a friend who lives in Ballston, I wanted to try something new in a new location. Simona Cafe truly was everything that I could have asked for. It was a beautiful day and I was lucky to score a table outside. The tables ad chairs are comfortable and you can sit for several hours without feeling like you need to get up. I actually didn't go inside, my friend ordered and picked up. The outside has a more protected area with a roof and the area we sat in which had umbrellas. We ordered cold brew and cappuccino. The coffee was excellent. I watched other people enjoy several dishes including the Franklin sandwich and the oatmeal. Though I didn't eat either of them, people said that the food was excellent. Looking at the menu, there's lots of comfort food and I'm going to come back to enjoy more coffee and a breakfast or lunch. Simona is clearly a neighborhood location. There were lots of families with young children coming in and out along with small and larger groups of friends and couples. Parking on the weekend is very easy, but it looks like you have to pay for the on street parking during the week. This is a real gem.

Yelp
This cafe is such a cute spot! The Rooibos latte was interesting. It's not very sweet nor bitter. The entrees were delicious, I personally liked the Tyler the best. Seating is limited, small location. But if you get lucky the outdoor seating is great!

Jesse K.

Yelp
It's not super upscale but very down-to-earth kind of place. What I have is pretty healthy and not-so-heavy for brunch. All staff members are quite friendly and friendly pretty quick at preparing food and drinks. The place is quite small that it can be really crowded but outdoor seating area is nice as well

Ben S.

Yelp
Loved swinging by this spot for a weekend breakfast. They had good coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich. Seating was limited but there was a table for us after a short break. It has a cute ambiance and would be great for a casual date. Prices were pretty reasonable too. We'll be back.

Yelp
I stopped here on the way out of DC because it was early, I needed coffee, and I didn't want to have to fight for parking in DC. Since I was leaving I checked along my route and found this spot. This is a small neighborhood coffee shop with friendly baristas, solid baked goods, and top notch beverages that you can tell are made by people who care about them and who know what they're doing. Easy street parking. Seating indoors and out, quick and easy service, super relaxed vibes. I dream of a world where every neighborhood has a place like this so that all the people of the world can experience good coffee just a few steps from where they wake up. It's what we deserve and we should all be fighting for it. Would definitely visit again. 5 stars.

Jam C.

Yelp
Great little neighborhood coffee shop with great coffee/tea drinks! They have the usual drinks and offers seasonal flavors. I never see it anywhere but they have rooibos latte! These were all over cafes in Cape Town and I was so happy to see they have it on the menu. They also serve beer, wine and mimosas. HH from 3pm to close. They also offer pastries and light bites Huge plus that they are very dog friendly! The owner has no issue if you take your pup inside if you are pick up your order. Pups can stay in the covered patio outside. They love pups so much they have free homemade treats for them inside.

Niranjana S.

Yelp
I love love love this place! Their strawberry matcha and vanilla latte are both equally wonderful! Service is quick and while prices are a bit steep for a coffee, it's a great spot for the occasional treat! I only wish there was more seating outside as it fills up pretty quickly on weekends

Jenna L.

Yelp
Such a cozy little coffee shop with simple interior decor with a modern twist. Seating is pretty limited as it's a small café, but they also have outdoor seating with cute little tables! Love how they had fresh flowers in small vases all throughout the café for nice pops of vibrant hues. I ordered the iced vanilla latte, and it was more on the milkier side. I didn't really taste the espresso until a few sips in, it was pretty faint, but overall a pretty good latte. The iced chai was overly milky, with barely any hints of the usual spice notes. The orange blossom latte was surprisingly very good! The orange blossom flavor didn't overpower the espresso notes, and it was very smooth, nicely balanced, and perfectly bold.

Yelp
I visited Simona for breakfast on a Friday, and it's clear why this place is so popular- its a good balance of good food, good coffee, and a nice place to sit and chat or work for a couple of hours. I decided to try the Franklin sandwich, which I was a little skeptical about considering it's an egg and cheese sandwich for $9 but turned out to be fantastic. The sandwich is essentially a generous piece of focaccia stuffed with perfectly scrambled eggs and melted cheese, making for a generous and delicious breakfast, honestly it could be a serving for two people! I also had the chamomile tea, which was quite good. There's a mint tea option as well for those who prefer a non-caffeinated choice. The seating arrangement is a bit cozy; the indoor seats are limited, but they do have three tables with access to an outlet. The tables are small, so it's best suited for one-on-one conversations rather than larger groups. On my visit, a group of five was taking up a lot of space on the patio and blocking the aisle, which made navigating a bit tricky. The patio seating is nice, offering both covered and uncovered options. It's a great spot for a quick breakfast or to work for an hour or two. The staff were friendly and even brought my tea out to me outside.

Marcy M.

Yelp
Great latte! Perfect amounts of quality espresso and homemade flavoring! I had the vanilla latte w/half oat, half whole milk! Perfect levels of foam! Taste was pure silky awesome! The sandwich - prosciutto, soft delectable brie, a tasty sweet homemade fig spread and an add-on of a tiny bit of pickled purple onion on perfectly crisped focaccia bread squares! I had to eat every last bit of it! It was GOOD and satisfying but also light and fresh and healthy tasting. It was the fig spread and cheese for me! And the gentleman who took my order was patient, cooperative, cordial, and nicely professional. He made sure he got my little tweaks right and put my order in perfectly! The cook fulfilled it just as perfectly! I will definitely visit again! The prices are very reasonable! Best of all, the cuisine is unique, appealing, and delicious! The lattes are AWESOME!

Amy N.

Yelp
Adorable cafe tucked away just off Wilson Blvd between Clarendon and Court House - the type of spot that area has really needed. Love the breakfast sandwich-focused daytime options, and fun evening options like wine and charcuterie. Seasonal coffee offerings change up regularly. Pups allowed on the patio. Small, intimate space.

Yelp
since moving back from nyc, my boyfriend and i have been looking for our new "go-to" spot. after a few google searches we decided to try out simona. ...and we can't stop coming back. first off, the drinks are TO DIE for. i wake up thinking about the strawberry basil matcha!! delicious. the vibes are so cute, inside & outdoor seating with the cutest tiny floral arrangements on the tables. and finally, the employees and owner are so kind & truly know what hospitality means! needless to say, you should try out simona -- thank me later!

Christina R.

Yelp
One of my go-to cafes in Arlington. I'm a big fan of a latte with housemade, seasonal, creatively flavored syrup and beautiful latte art, and Simona delivers. The cafe itself is small but cute with plentiful plants and sunshine. The outdoor area is my favorite, but I'll likely move inside as the temperatures cool down. Not only are the coffees artfully crafted (the baristas are amazing!), but their pastries are solid too. I'm a big fan of their scones-- they have the perfect texture and just enough sweetness to pair with a latte. My only issue with this cafe is that sometimes their syrups are a bit lacking in flavor. In the spring they had a lemon rose latte, and disappointingly the lemon-rose didn't really make it through; it just tasted lightly sweetened.

Anais B.

Yelp
I was in DC for work, and I stopped in on a Friday morning. I had a delightful experience! I absolutely loved the quaintness of the ambiance. The sourdough biscuit was crispy and soft in the inside, and the latte (hot) with oat milk was delicious! Must try if you are in the Arlington area.

Lauren M.

Yelp
I wish I had tried Simona sooner as it's quickly become my favorite local coffee shop and cafe in the neighborhood! A dog friendly (and people watching heaven) patio is set up for all seasons and their interior has a great setup for any solo workers looking to read or retreat from the buzzy outdoors. Their food and pastries are all so fresh and the staff seem to be like family - always so kind and welcoming. Their iced dirty chai is my favorite and an easy thing to get wrong IMO. Im impressed with Simona's chameleon abilities to be coffee shop by the morning and wine bar by the evening- or a little bit of both especially if you're Sober curious and want fun non alcoholic options while meeting a friend for a drink after work.

Nigel A.

Yelp
The coffee was the best we have had in the Arlington area. The biscuits and morning loaf were really good too. Overall, it's worth going too.

Mitch S.

Yelp
I had a good experience at Simona for the first time. This is the quintessential destination for a quaint coffee and chill. Whether you need to get some work done, read a book, or people watch on the streets of Clarendon, this place can fit all your needs. The staff was well trained, and seemed to treat everyone with respect and kindness. It felt like a place that would draw you back because of how comfortable it was inside and out. The pumpkin coffee wasn't my favorite, the flavors weren't hitting home the way I was expecting. Nonetheless, very enjoyable outside on a nice fall day. Next time I'd switch it up with one of the other house drip blends. Paired well with the sandwich that was light and delicate. I would've loved a bit more prosciutto to fill out the sandwich in comparison to the thick baguette. Some other delicious looking sandwiches on the menu I would try as well. I would like to come back and try some of the other coffees and maybe some breakfast. Give this place a try!

Anushka M.

Yelp
Such a cute spot! I got an iced coffee and I added the housemade honey lavender syrup. It's delicious and the syrup really tastes fresh. I was also able to grab their last butter croissant. The manager mentioned he will be releasing the fall syrups soon as well, can't wait for those! It was a great spot and I'm glad I can add this to local coffee shops to come back to. There's a good amount of seating both inside and outside so I may even come back with my laptop!

Cole D.

Yelp
This morning loaf was shockingly delicious. $4 for a thick slice a bread is a bit pricy but was very tasty.

Kevin N.

Yelp
Simona Cafe is a cute coffee shop and a relaxing wine bar. They have great coffee, fresh pastries, a good selection of wine and some delicious sandwiches! The service is quick and friendly. I loved the variety and quality! There's space inside and a cute patio as well. Brown Butter Pumpkin Latte - perfect cozy fall coffee Chocolate Cranberry Scone - their fresh baked pastries are all delicious Pinot Noir Wine - can't go wrong with a glass of wine Fancy Grilled Cheese with Chorizo - the brie was fantastic, the focaccia bread we amazing, and the chorizo added great flavors

Yelp
Thanks to a Yelp elite experience I was introduced to the place I don't frequent Arlington much because traffic and parking. But I figured why not. Glad I decided to take the venture on a weekend although myself and the other yuppies of nova had the same idea. It's fine that just means that this place has enough charm to attract the locals. Huge fan that they have seasonal offerings. Currently there a pumpkin brown sugar latte, ginger Roobios tea latte. Matcha ginger tea latte and a chaidar should've gotten cause I love chai and cider. Anywho rolled in at about 10:30ish. Swamped this place but you know what they say if there is a buzz this place must be the joint. Baristas seem on point the drinks were quick and food was pretty quick also. Got a free 12pz Drip courtesy of Yelp and 15% other items for being a Yelp elite but to be honesty the items I got would've a been what I normally would order at their typical price point. The lemon lavender scone. Seriously the zing of lemon and the floral was of lavender. Butter crumb and nice crisp bits on the exterior. Just lovely. The Drip coffee was piping hot. Either the acidity of a drip. I also got a Ginger Roobios Tea latte iced which was super refreshing with the finer on the back end most don't like the burning of ginger so it's mild. I also had to get a savory item so I got the prosciutto and Brie. I'm a fan of this rustic baguette a good chew. Simple ingredient sandwich but well executed. Overall so glad Yelp dragged me out to these parts brings me back to a time my best friend and I would seek out local/neighborhood coffee place. It has such a chill environment. My only gripe is that the parking is so limited. But what's happens when you're on the corner of the street.

Sammi C.

Yelp
Cute and danity shop at the end of a busy street and neighborhood entrance. Luckily i came in the afternoon, I can totally see this being a hassle in the morning. I would maybe suggest carpooling as there is not very much parking around. Since i did come at around almost 6pm, i was able to grab a spot right in front. The menu was your typical coffee shop menu, right when you walk in it's aroma from the coffee beans definitely lures you in. I love the smell of coffee, almost enough that i want to smell like it all day haha. I was a little sad as i had cash to use and it was all cashless, i need to remember that from now on most businesses are moving away from cash. Forgot my card at home, whoops. However they accept cash tips. Wanted to try the strawberry matcha, but I guess I'll have to come back for that another time. The shop can probably hold about 10 people sitting max, and then it's in and out. They have a cute little patio in the front with some adorable decor. The drip coffee was ok, I asked to add oatmilk and a flavor. The barista told me they only had vanilla, kind of sad, but I took it. I did appreciate the smoothness of the coffee, which it was a little more robust. This is a great location if you live in the neighborhood and can walk or work around the area. It was super ugly anf rainy today so always prepare yourself for the weather!

Deb W.

Yelp
I love the great customer service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The menu is limited after breakfast but this loaf was amazing. Great place to get work done outdoors with a fan. I enjoyed my experience!

Sandra B.

Yelp
This place is a cozy hidden gem in an Arlington neighborhood, walkable to the main thoroughfare on Wilson Blvd. The staff was happy to accommodate me while I had my dog on leash, and brought my order out to the covered patio with an extra plate to share what I ordered with my friend who was visiting from out of town. The breakfast sandwich I had was on hearty toast and very filling. Worth a second visit or more.

Yelp
Simona Café is a charming retreat that beckons with its exceptional coffee and cozy ambiance. Tucked away in Arlington from the hustle and bustle, it's a haven for coffee enthusiasts seeking a moment of tranquility and indulgence. Let's start with the coffee--it's simply superb. Crafted with care and precision, each cup boasts rich flavors and aromatic notes that awaken the senses. Whether you're savoring a velvety latte or a robust espresso, Simona's coffee never fails to impress. It's the kind of brew that leaves you craving for more. The ambiance of Simona Café is equally inviting. With soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a rustic charm, it feels like stepping into a friend's cozy living room. It's the perfect setting to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet moment of reflection. However, there is one minor drawback--seating is limited. While the intimate atmosphere adds to the café's charm, it can be a bit challenging to find a spot during peak hours. This might not be ideal for those looking to work or accommodate larger groups, but it's a small inconvenience considering the overall experience. They do have outdoor tables but since it's been colder, I haven't been wanting to sit outside these days. Despite the seating constraints, Simona Café remains a hidden gem worth discovering. Whether you're seeking a moment of solitude with a good book or a leisurely catch-up session with friends, it offers the perfect backdrop for memorable moments. Just be prepared to cozy up and enjoy the warmth of this inviting space, even if finding a seat requires a bit of patience. In conclusion, Simona Café is a delightful retreat for coffee aficionados in search of quality brews and a cozy atmosphere. While seating may be limited, the exceptional coffee and welcoming ambiance make it a must-visit destination in Brooklyn. So, grab a cup of your favorite brew and let Simona Café transport you to a world of comfort and indulgence.

Yelp
Generally, I liked my experience here. Ambiance: (4/5) I love the outdoor seating. There isn't too much indoor seating. Price: (3/5) Prices are above average for the area. Food: (4/5) The coffee is very strong but not bitter. I'm not a super big coffee drinker but I didn't need sugar with the Cortada. I was pretty jittery after but I also didn't have anything to eat all day. Service: (5/5) Staff is great and the coffee comes out quickly.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Simona Cafe offers a coffee, wine, and a food menu. The cafe itself is inviting, with a handful of seating, both in and outside, and it's very well-decorated with shelves of coffee beans as well as reused bottles displaying simple floral arrangements! Definitely a place where you can catch up on doing some work or having a mini get-together. When I was there, the cafe was starting to get busy, with locals grabbing their beverages to go as well as a small group meeting for breakfast and coffee outdoors. I wanted to try one of their breakfast items, so I decided to order the Avocado Toast, which was prepared with smashed avocado, a smoky red pepper salsa, pickled red onions, and arugula on an open-faced focaccia toast. Unfortunately, this was just not that great, even though it was made-to-order; the amount of avocado used was very minimal, as it was a very light shmear; while the focaccia toast was okay, the red pepper salsa didn't complement the other ingredients well and left an off taste in our mouths. I am thinking of trying out the Wilson the next time! Note that do bake pastries in-house, and they're not available until about half an hour or so after opening. Staff were super friendly, kind, and welcoming! There are limited metered street parking in the area. +friendly service! +indoor and patio seating available +plenty of metered street parking

Marissa F.

Yelp
Simona is a neighborhood gem with great coffee, food, and a great atmosphere. One thing they went above and beyond in was customer service. I mistakenly ordered the wrong lunch item from the menu, and without hesitation, they put in an order for the item I meant to order for no charge, even though it was my mistake. This is my favorite coffee shop to go to for takeout, or dining in at the lovely outdoor space. Another major perk: there is a dog bakery next door, and dogs are welcome indoor and outdoors at Simona.

SuJin C.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Arlington. This chic little cafe will make you smile when you walk in. Love their interior decor and the menu wall. I absolutely love their outdoor sitting area, especially when it's a beautiful fall weather. It is a perfect place to read, work, or just hang out. My favorite is their house drip coffee, but other drinks are amazing too :)

Rose H.

Yelp
Had a latte and it was a perfect blend so didn't need to add sweetener. Service was quick and easy. Ambiance was calm and inviting.

Zack G.

Yelp
Tiny coffee shop with delicious coffee and pastry Have hot food also, but I haven't gotten the chance to try it yet Only a few seats inside, but a bunch of outside seating. Since the place is so small it is surprising that they allow people to be on their laptops, and when I came here with my GF we therefore struggled to find somewhere to sit. I have only gotten their iced vanilla latte, but it is one of my favorite in NOVA (and my definitive favorite in Arlington). My only complaint is that they use tiny ice cubes in it, and therefore I end up accidentally drinking a lot of them On my most recent visit I tried one of their apple scones, and it was delicious

Iulia G.

Yelp
I have been to Simona Cafe twice now, both times on a weekend and it gets busy pretty quickly, especially in the morning. Simona Cafe is an all-day cafe and they have happy hour deals, but I've only tried them for around brunch time. Both times I o the same: a latte and the Franklin sandwich. I'll start with the sandwich since I definitely wouldn't mind getting it again. It's a generous size and it has a slight kick to it. I also appreciate that the avocado used was actually fresh. The latte, however, was too milky. I know it's a latte but I could barely taste the espresso. If I can't enjoy my latte, I doubt I'll be going back just for the food. I also noticed that some people placed their order and went to sit outside. Once the order was ready, the plate sat on the counter quite a while because the guy who was taking it outside was too busy chatting with a friend. While the plate sat on the counter, few people touched the plate wondering if that was their food. Kind of gross. Definitely recommend waiting for your order inside. The lady behind the register, the barista and the lady making the sandwich - all three were friendly and helpful.

Alexis S.

Yelp
The loveliest little hidden gem of a wine bar! Bring your computer or a book and enjoy a coffee during the day, or come for wine and charcuterie specials starting at 1pm.

Tommy H.

Yelp
Personally I don't usually like the combination of strawberry and matcha on any drink including boba drinks but this was surprisingly good. The latte was a little bit too water down for my taste but overall the ambience was good and service was nice.

Spencer L.

Yelp
Small neighbourhood spot with several breakfast sandwiches , pastries and seasonal lattes. Not a ton of indoor seating, but there is an outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. Only one, gender neutral bathroom. Feel free to wear whatever clothing you like! Casual lofi girl fit to business casual.

Shubha A.

Yelp
I love this cafe so much! My friend and I wanted to find a cute coffee shop to work from and Simona was awesome :) The service was awesome and everyone was very friendly! I am obsessed with their lemon and blueberry scone and highly recommend it. My friend got the Franklin sandwich which she highly recommends - the focaccia was house-made which was yummy and the eggs were made perfect & overall the sandwich was so delicious. She also got an oatmilk latte which was yummy - a classic if you will :) Just a note for if you're trying to work here, you can only connect to their internet for 2 hours on a weekday, and just 1 hour on the weekend - so just keep that in mind if you're trying to work here. They have a good amount of outdoor seating, so it would be a great option on a sunny day, and there is some seating indoor too but it's pretty limited. They have HH from 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday, and I will definitely come back again for a happy hour :)

Phoebe D.

Yelp
Cute place in Arlington to study or work! I had just come from lunch so only got a latte but the food and pastries looked really good also. The latte was just decent - I got the honey lavender spring special and thought the honey and lavender flavors could have been stronger - but I like how they don't add too much ice and I always appreciate when coffee shops have glass or non-plastic cups for their in-store customers! I sat inside because it was hot but there's a very nice patio area that would be great to sit at and chill.

Rose S.

Yelp
I ordered the hibiscus iced tea here and enjoyed it! I liked that it was unsweetened (but had the option to sweeten it if that's your cup of tea, no pun intended). I also liked that they have *the good ice* here - aka the little crunchy ice cubes you get at Sonic. The interior is pretty, and there's a nice outdoor seating area where I saw multiple people working or simply enjoying their afternoon. Unfortunately, they kept playing ska music which wasn't necessarily my thing and is a bit off putting to me personally. Also, they started cutting a large amount of onions at one point, and based on where they were cutting them + the amount of onions, both myself and other people started having burning eyes. Likewise, when people entered I noticed them reacting to the smell of onions. It's not a huge space, so that may just be a downside of sitting inside the shop. Ultimately, it's a convenient, well-decorated location and the staff are very friendly, but the ambiance was less than desired.

Isabel W.

Yelp
Great spot for coffee food or drinks! I love the ambience here and in the spring/summer it'll be great to sit outside. The owner and servers are also very nice and friendly and will recommend the best dishes. My favorite is their matcha and the fig and prosciutto sandwich.

Saborte79 S.

Yelp
I really love this neighborhood cafe. We come here often! The coffee, food and atmosphere are great!

Sydnie C.

Yelp
My favorite cafe in Arlington! I love their scones. The line is always a tad bit long but other than that I love it here! I also love how dog friendly it is here:)

Kj G.

Yelp
The fresh made focaccia sandwiches at Simona Cafe are worth a visit! I had a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast, and it was next level! It had a delicious spiced aioli and finely sautéed onions with yummy cheese. The service was friendly and accurate, and the ambiance was cozy, with small two-person tables inside and larger options in the covered outdoor seating areas. I had a delicious mocha with my meal. We will definitely be eating here again! Thanks Simona Cafe--you got our day off to a great start!

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Great food, coffee, and vibes. This might be my new favorite lunch break spot in the neighborhood

Perla S.

Yelp
This fine establishment can take my money any day of the week!! They have well deserved the NOVA Magazine - Best Coffeehouse Title It is the perfect spot for a chill coffee & bites. Their coffee & food are spectacular! The bread is made in-house and can quite literally have my ovaries. There is seating inside & out. Their patio is intimate and dog-friendly. I have never not had a good time here. The service and owner are super friendly and efficient! Highly recommend

Yelp
First of all, it is a charming cafe--on a side street. The staff is notably polite, friendly, helpful. The beverage offerings are numerous and creative! And the food is "icing on the top"! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Affordable drinks, cute little Cafe, service was quick, and wonderful. Place is a little small, so it may be difficult to get a table. Simple decor, cozy vibes.

Yelp
Quaint, cute and cozy. Friendly and helpful staff! I got a seasonal summer drink: Iced Honey Lavender Latte. It was strong in lavender flavor and delicious on a hot day. It was a bit pricey.. coming out to a little more than $7 with regular whole milk and including tip. Definitely competitive prices in Arlington.

Yelp
I always love when a place does specialty coffees. This spot is cute and offers great coffee and breakfast options. Portions look small but are quite filling.

Yelp
I don't want to 'mona too much about this place, but it missed the mark for me. This cafe had all the makings for a great spot- friendly baristas, multiple seating options, and an extensive menu. But I think that's where they went wrong. I ordered one of their specialty lattes (gingerbread latte) and ended up paying nearly $10 for a basic latte. The latte had none of the promised flavors, but the espresso was decent (so maybe stick to the basic menu). They had both almond and oat milk (both were an additional $1). My next issue is they have these very cool mugs, but the lack of handle made them an easy spilling hazard especially when trying to maneuver around the tightly packed tables. The music was classic indie tunes that were blasting a little too loud which means everyone was talking quite loud so if you are planning to study or read, maybe leave the books at home. The bathroom was clean, but in a very unfortunate spot- right by the pickup counter (someone was leaning on the door and I couldn't get out). Overall, I'd consider going back if I was in a pinch, but I won't make this a regular stop.
