The 21 Best Restaurants In San Sebastián 2024

"When you’ve had your fill of Spanish-style café con leche, head to OhBaba, where you can get a fantastic oat milk flat white. This vegan-friendly café is a unicorn in a sea of gluten-eating, lactose-loving Europeans, and for that reason, draws a crowd that generally falls somewhere between barefoot surfer and digital nomad. Most of the food here is vegan, like the homemade cinnamon rolls and the tomato-nut cheese or avocado toasts on thin sourdough." - marti buckley

We had our brunch at Simona. We ordered Lady Salome, Señorita Croque, Benedicto Garashi. All of them were so fresh and so delicious. Ximena was the one who welcomed us. She was so nice and friendly. Would recommend it.

Best spot for brunch in town. Service is kind and quick. Wide variety of coffee, especially if you love filter. Food is the best thing about this place. Had the benny eggs last time, those were awesome. Had the pastrami sandwich today, that was unreal. Simply the best sandwich I ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Great little brunch spot. Good quality matcha lattes. The Turkish eggs were delicious. Although I wish the dish was a bit warmer.

Best coffee and brunch we had in San Sebastian. Friendly and efficient service, there’s also free water. Recommend the acai bowl and croque senorita. Overall fantastic decor, vibes, coffee and food.

Great specialty coffee. In a town full of exceptional food, the level is set pretty high for any kind of food products and this place doesn’t miss the mark. They also sell a wide range of beans from notable roasters like Dak and La Cabra - so this is a real enthusiast’s dream. Service is great, friendly and unpretentious - however this is the norm for places in this town in my experience.

Fantastic place for brunch! There was a short wait but turnover was quick. Toddler friendly too. The Señorita Croque was absolutely amazing, the bechamel was so creamy and cheesy - highly recommend this dish. The Ana Banana was also great - sweet, soft brioche with a well balanced banana-rum compote. Coffee was also good, so overall definitely worth a visit!

Remarkable cafe that can handle non-coffee lovers through the food and can absolutely indulge the coffee lovers through a beautiful selection of café para filtro. I would go here three times a week if I lived in San Sebastián. I also learned that maybe I should increase temperature during my multi-pour!? Thank you for being another horcrux for my soul.

One of the best coffees in San Sebastián and amazing brunch! I had the brioche with salmon and avocado with the hollandaise on the side cause it felt very “heavy” on top! 🤪 Also, the service was so good! Such friendly people! Loved them!
