Simone

Simone is a good restaurant or fine food bistrot, or “bistrot gastronomique”. The selection of wine is surprising, but then it seems that they have a wine shop down the avenue. Anyway, we took the “wine pairing” and it was good. The food is fine, but nothing extraordinary. The service is good but not memorable. The atmosphere is only ok, I dont know why. The price is correct I think. In short, a good fine food neighborhood restaurant, but somehow It will not stay memorable.

From the impeccable, smiley, friendly and knowledgeable staff (they love their food and wines, and it clearly transpires when they talk about it) to the awesome and delightful food, it was all a great and delicious experience. The menu is short, with a choice of a fish/meat/veggie option for both starters and mains - all greatly executed with a twist that makes you scratch your head every time whilst your palate goes "yummy!". Slightly on the pricey side when you deviate from the (good) set menus, but a great find nonetheless! We were still discussing how delicious it was the following day, which is always the sign of a great experience!

Fantastic experience! The staff was very friendly, the food & wine were amazing, even though we were sitting next to the kitchen we didn't seem to hear them at all, it was quiet and cozy!

The best restaurant I have been to in Paris so far! We ordered the €50 surprise menu plus €20 wine pairing, it came with 5 dishes, 1 dessert, and 5 glasses of wine for each dish. The wine pairing was a sweet surprise, especially the orange wine that paired with truffle cheese was exceptional! All the food was creative and delicious, truffle cheese was a must have. The service was very welcoming and attentive. It was the best experience I had in Paris. Reservation could only be made by phone and was highly recommended as the place became full after 9pm.

More fine dining style-plating and selection of the ingredient than what I expected. Certainly good ingredient was there, but I couldn't tell the food was as refined as it looked. Still, I'd love to try here again. Wine list with more choice of natural/biodynamic + a bit of conventional wines.

This has been one of the best meals we have had while in Paris and quite frankly all of Europe! We travel fairly extensively and eat even more extensively in the United States. Honestly, this has been one of the best meals we have eaten. I could not more highly recommend this place! Cozy and quaint but the open kitchen makes it feel high-end. Under no circumstances should you miss this meal! The staff is so kind and helpful, they make you feel so welcome and are happy to go out of their way to explain the entire menu to you.

Not to miss! A real gem in the 13 quarter of Paris! Kind of fusion kitchen, natural wines! Perfect place for foodies.

The 3-course dinner menu options were incredibly creative (the main I chose had a pairing of perfectly prepared teriyaki tuna with fava beans and just dab of fruit sauce, and it was delicious) and reasonably priced - every dish we had was skillfully prepared and artfully plated- but it’s not only excellent cuisine one can expect here, it’s also the exceptionally helpful staff that really made for a perfect dining experience - we highly recommend dining at Simone.
