"For those closer to the southern edges of the Twin Cities, this strip mall Apple Valley restaurant is the perfect takeout spot. Get one of their combination rice plates or a chef’s special: like the thịt bò xào khoai tây, featuring shallow-fried disks of potato and thin cuts of ribeye glazed with savory-sweet oyster sauce." - Julie Zhou

Every time I eat here whether its driven to me or I dine in the food is always just what I need. Ive been going here for a while and the staff is so friendly. They make you feel like family so very welcomed! I adore this place with my whole heart!

Google
Fantastic vietnamese food!!! I ordered here on Saturday and already back for more! First visit I had the vietnamese vermicelli noodles with grilled pork (Bun thit nuong) and if was 11/10, very authentic and yummy. Today I got the order of eggrolls (huge eggrolls, crispy, flavorful, really really good) and lo mein with chicken. I saw a review saying it’s “the wrong noodles” which I now know what that person meant, these aren’t chinese lo mein noodles, these are vietnamese egg noodles, but if you can look past a skinnier noodle with a bit more of a bite, the flavor is there! Plus it’s packed with crunchy veggies, basically a better for you version of the chinese lo mein. I will keep coming back for more. Really good food.

Staff was very pleasant, informed me of specials and provided professional service. Had some Pho and Spring Rolls. (The peanut sauce thicker than most but the chunks of peanut give it texture and crunch). Two Thumbs Up! Recommend

Google
Food quality has gone downhill lately. Ordered the sesame shrimp today and it tasted off. There was also an excess amount of breading. Disappointed considering how much it cost.

Google
Awesome little restaurant for amazing pho! Very friendly staff and good price for large portion. I got the steak pho and it was amazing! We sat in and it was non-stop busy the whole time. The food speaks for itself! My friend got huge fried rice portion with eggrolls.

Google
Simplee perfect. Everything has been incredible. Everytime. The Bún bò Huế spicy beef soup is extra perfect.

Robert Stewart

Google
It's always amazing. ALWAYS. The egg rolls are as good as they get. My recommendation is the wonton noodle soup (pictured). My office is walking distance from this place - well, it would be if I typically walked that far. Pho is fantastic as well. Friendly, helpful staff too.

Google
Spring Rolls - WOW, that peanut sauce that they have. Amazing. Very thick and creamy. A little lemon would help cut through the taste if it’s too thick and add acidity to the spring roll itself. The pho broth tasted very good, however I like my noodles not cut, so that’s the only con I found. Check it out and do order the spring rolls.

Yelp
Updating my old review from four stars to five stars! This is our go to spot for Vietnamese food in the south suburbs. Quality and quantity of food is very good and has been consistent for many years. We've been eating here for the past 4 years and will not stop!

Soapy N.

Yelp
The place looks mediocre inside. The service although they serve Vietnamese dishes when I asked for a dish in Vietnamese they didn't understand me and I know it's not because of my accent because I've used it in other places because I always order that particular dish. The food is ok because I'm spoiled by EAT street and University Ave. food. It's a 3 because there was too much pork meat in their eggrolls so I only ate the outside shell and she gave me a funny "how dare you not finish your food you wasteful person" look on something I paid for.

Kenny N.

Yelp
This place is tasty plus it has incredible value. $10-13 per entree with really, generous portions. Like deep of noodles, meats and veggies. This place runs like a well oiled machine as staff is attentive, quick and ready to serve. Beyond impressed and look forward to returning next time we're in Apple Valley! Ordered: - Spring Rolls (4/5) - fresh with a delicious peanut based sauce - Bun Special (5/5) - huge! It could feed two. Everything tasted fresh and the quality was there. Cheers!

Yelp
I wish I lived closer because I love this place! A warm welcome as soon as I walked in. Almost every table was full in this sweet little restaurant. Phone did not eat first this time! I only got to capture what wasn't devoured instantaneously. Food: The spring rolls were thick yet with a great ratio of veggies to noodles to protein. Egg rolls and cream cheese wontons are always a hit with my family and these are a reliable choice. Also got the pork chop noodle salad (which had LOADS of meat), Beef chow fun, and Chicken Pad Thai. Will definitely make the drive to come back!

Yelp
Simplee the best...I'm Pho real Wife: "you should take me on a date night." Me: "where do you wanna go?" Wife: "let's get some pho" So I proceed to browse Yelp, see a couple spots that have a couple of reviews, but I want the real deal cus I've never had Pho before. Found Simplee Pho. Now I didn't know what to expect, I never had Pho before, I told my wife "wasn't it just soup and ramen?" Nope. It's so much more than that. We entered the restaurant with one hour left before closed. They happily greeted us, sat us right away and brought us water immediately. Looking at the menu, I didn't even know it was a Vietnamese restaurant, so I got excited. I glanced at the menu but I didn't want anything I've tried before so I went for the Pho. The spicy bowl. My wife asked for chicken instead of beef and at first the waitress wasn't sure if the cook would do it, but she clapped her hands and said I will ask for you. Came back in seconds and said Yes! He'll do it for you! (She got the same spicy bowl as I did). And I ordered the egg rolls. The egg rolls are loaded, mega egg rolls, loaded with the good stuff, loaded with flavor and after just one bite, all I could do was nod my head and say wow.... Not gonna lie, hands down, thee best egg rolls I've ever eaten in my life. When the spicy bowl arrived, I grabbed the chop sticks, grab some beef and noodles and took a bite. first thing out my wife: "WHY HAVENT I TRIED THIS BEFORE?!? WHY HAVENT YOU TOLD ME PHO OS THIS GOOD!?! So I added the Ben sprouts and whatever else they put o the extra plate and added it to my bowl. I ate, I grubbed, I was in food paradise, and I ate some more. When it was all said and done, my wife and I were full, I'm talking full Pho real!!' And we still had a full bowl of spicy Pho left, and my wife even gave me some of her chicken and noodles cus she mainly wanted the broth. So we're beyond satisfied with the service Beyond satisfied with the food Beyond satisfied with the flavor Beyond satisfied with the amount of food Beyond satisfied with the amount to take home And we will be back We do recommend Like Billy Bob from Varsity Blues: I give it a 10!!! I give it a 10!!! My wife says I'm pronouncing Pho wrong (PHOH) and she says (Pha) Fee FiPho Phum, this restaurant is Pho Real, Fee Fi Pho Phum This place is yum!! I was so full, but when I got home later that evening l, I finished off the whole container I took home, cus it was just that good. There was like this magnetic pull to the flavor screaming eat this pho, man oh man!!! I'm going back!!!

Ashley C.

Yelp
This has become our go-to pho place since living in MN. Food is always great as is the service. They're also now our go-to for Chinese food. I ordered the dinner special, "pork with mixed vegetables" and was ecstatic to see that the pork is Char Siu (Chinese 5-spiced barbecue pork)!! SO. GOOD. We don't eat Chinese food often, but I crave this dish often, it is fantastic! The dinner special is such a good deal with entree, lots of rice, and a HUGE egg roll, and a cream cheese wonton. The egg rolls are FANTASTIC as well (so are the cream cheese wontons)! Love Simplee Pho!

Aiden Y.

Yelp
Been going here since starting college and it's basically the closet Vietnamese place (30ish min). As a big pho guy my review is basically just on the combination pho and appetizers. Starting from the top, service is good and friendly. The servers are really nice and check in fast and periodically. Cream cheese wontons are what you would expect as are the spring rolls. As for the pho, every time I've gone the broth has been great and never really changes in taste. It is nice that the broth consistent so I never have to worry about a lack in quality. Portions are good with noodles and meat. Only sad thing is they don't have bigger pieces of tendon. Prices are also very reasonable and you get what you pay for. I will continue to come here to ease my pho cravings.

John K.

Yelp
Friend swore by it, now I do. Had to take my coworkers back the next day. Very good, authentic, and affordable food!!! Lots of space, friendly staff, and just enjoyed everything. You should try it, this is my first and last Pho place in MN.

Joe F.

Yelp
The pho was great and very filling. The egg rolls were also very tasty. My wife who's not a huge fan even loved her pho.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Favorite new Asian restaurant in the area. They, like others in Apple Valley, are a Vietnamese restaurant that also serves an extensive selection of Chinese dishes. I've tried about 5 of the Vietnamese dishes, including two pho, and they have all been excellent, especially their Vietnamese egg rolls. The egg rolls are a meal in themselves. They are crispy and flaky in the outside and stuffed with chicken and veggies and a great seasoning mix. Only miss so far is their pad thai, which is more sweet and syrupy than most and kind of bland. Chinese food is very good as well. Small little restaurant by Dunn Brothers. Service is fast. I have done take-out each time but they had their small dining room full of diners every time I've visited.

Yelp
After exercising my credit card and feet shopping at Kohl's, I was hungry. I did a quick search for eateries in the area and found Simplee Pho. I am down for pho anytime. Pho sure! The drive was super short. I probably got there in less than five minutes by car. I backed into a spot in the plaza, steps away from the eatery, and walked in. I waited at the counter. A nice woman led me to a table and left a menu for me. This place was fairly busy at around 2 pm. It was a sign of a decent eatery. I like that you get one pho bowl size. I went with P6, which is the steak and meatball pho. I also got Thai bubble tea. Both items came out fast. The woman noticed after making my Thai bubble tea that the bottom of the cup was bashed in. It wasn't leaking. I had the leaning tower of Thai tea. It was all good. I put the mint and bean sprouts into the soup. I then squeezed in the lime, stirred, and chowed down. The broth. Star anise heaven! This place makes excellent pho broth. The noodles were perfect. The meatballs were yummy. The steak was perfect. It was the perfect pho soup. So comforting and delicious! The Thai bubble tea was great. The Thai tea flavour was spot on. It was slightly sweet, which was perfect for me. The boba was chewy and enjoyable. The servers spoke Cantonese to one another. The lunch special are Chinese, such as lo mein with your choice of protein and kung pao chicken. Each lunch special is under $9, which is a bargain. I paid at the counter with a credit card. I tipped. I thanked the woman and we wished each other a great day. Such a gem of a pho place in Apple Valley! I had an un-pho-gettable experience. Simplee go if you're in the area. (489)

Yelp
Best Pho in town, their broth is super nutritious and no much MSG like the other placese! I grew up eating Pho in Vietnam, and I feel only this res simmered the bones to cook Pho. Plenty of protein with a good price. I stop by every week!!

Kate G.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! We got so many things- pho, lo mein, pad Thai, bun bowl. All of it was so good, with lots of fresh veggies and meat. I highly recommend checking out this place.

Michelle S.

Yelp
The egg rolls are to die for! The chicken lo mein is packed with chicken and veggies. So good!

Sindy H.

Yelp
Very good Pho . Definitely recommend- one of my go to places - order online and it's awesome and easy

arounny m.

Yelp
I tried this place as a takeaway and it was not my favorite. The egg rolls were soggy and oily, the spring rolls were cold with the paper a bit hard and dry (most likely premade and was in the fridge for too long)...anyone can make spring rolls, so the sauce is the most important thing to make the dish tasty...the sauce a not good at all. I also ordered their mix special vermicelli salad...oh my, it was not very edible. I had to throw it away. All the meats tasted the same and the marination was not very good. Overall, from the three items I've tried, I am not sure I would want to try anything else again here anytime soon.

Christa K.

Yelp
Delicious every time. Best pho around and they are fast to get your order out too. Love it. I get chicken or steak pho with spring rolls. Love their Vietnamese coffee as well.

Traci M.

Yelp
Really great lunch spot. Service was wonderful and food was excellent. Stopped for lunch- started with the Vietnamese spring rolls. The two rolls were so refreshing with crisp veggies and a delightful peanut sauce on the side. Would definitely order again. Ordered the chicken Lo Mein lunch special and the steak and meatball pho. Both were hearty portions and tasty. The lunch special comes with a cream cheese wonton that my dining partner really enjoyed. The pho was filling and took half home. Can't wait to eat it for lunch tomorrow. This is a great stop if you are in the mood for some yummy Vietnamese or Chinese cuisine.

Yelp
We drove for 3 days from Southern California to help our daughter who was transferred to MN to get settled in an apartment. The first restaurant that caught my eyes within walking distance from our lodging was Simplee Pho. We were greeted by a very friendly employee which was a good sign!! Hubby ordered the Bun Bo Hue and in my humble opinion, the best!! The broth had so much flavor- I mean with the appropriate herbs - the beef so tender and the noodles just right!! I ordered the Wonton Noodle Soup to play it safe!! Boy, was I lucky!! It reminded me so much of the Malaysian Wonton Noodle Soups I was accustomed to. Rarely do I see this soup topped with fried garlic and this one did!! The broth was hearty with a mixture of flavors - unlike some that are just watery! The wontons and the bar b que pork tasted homemade!! All around a very nice dinner experience. A week later, we went back just before leaving back to California!! Hubby ordered the combination fried rice - which he devoured in its entirety- reluctantly sharing a bite with me!! Yes, it was that good!! The flavors- the beef, shrimp and chicken were fresh tasting and not over cooked! Most importantly, the rice itself was not mushy or clumpy. Daughter ordered the Orange Chicken and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was! She commented on the chicken-batter ratio where she could actually taste more chicken than batter. Typically, she will eat a few pieces and leave the rest. On this order, she insisted on a to go box. I ordered the traditional Pho to see how it compared to Southern California! Wow!! The beef was so tender and the broth was on point with hints of cinnamon, star anise, and more!! The portions were so generous that we had second meals each time. PS - not the friend rice!! LOL!! Granted we don't live in the San Gabriel or Monterey Parks of Southern California where Vietnamese-Asian foods are much better. We live in a similar city or town like Apple Valley and we have to drive miles to get what we got from a 2 minute drive to Simplee Pho!! The owner of this business is a savvy business woman! She prepares the food like it should be - authentic - and not tailored to individual palates! It allows for customers to experience the true tastes of the various cuisines and for each one to make up their minds whether to like it or not. From the patronage, it is obvious customers love it! My family wishes her continued success and we cannot wait to return when we visit our daughter. Sorry, forgot to take pictures of the Orange Chicken, Fried Rice and the Beef Pho! We were busy digging in!!

Shelby M.

Yelp
A chilly day calls for some Pho. The pho portions are huge, I took the rest of mine to go. The shrimp were large in the shrimp pho and had a awesome broth. My husband got the Special Pho, he ended up picking out the Tripe pieces. We hadn't had that before and realized the texture of the tripe isn't our thing. We definitely could have shared one bowl of pho together. The egg rolls are the bomb though, definitely get those. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of available parking out front. Would love to come back and try some other noodle dishes

Mickensie W.

Yelp
Great portions and prices! Got a huge bowl of steak pho and it was delicious. My hubby got the special pho and said they didn't skimp on anything and really enjoyed the flavor of the broth. The cream cheese wontons and egg rolls are always good here as well. You really can't go wrong with whatever you decide to order. The Thai bubble tea was tasty as well. They also have some nice seating areas with beautiful rice art. Definitely don't want to miss out on this gem in apple valley!

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Fast forward a few years. Food is always fresh, fast and consistent. My go to spot for Vietnamese food in apple valley and the portion size is just right. Just tried the beef and potatoes for first time tonight such a great dish! They slice the potatoes ultra thin, fry it up with beef and the sauce served with white rice definitely a winner.

Risa Y.

Yelp
I happened to be in the Valley of the Apple with friends, and it was a HOT autumn Sunday, so we stopped in for a Vietnamese noodle salad and Vietnamese iced coffee. A small "mom and pop" place, but clean and comfortable and homey. Friendly service. Salad was fresh and the iced coffee was good.

Gabriel N.

Yelp
Ordered for delivery as this was the only pho place I could find delivering to Eagan. Well, I got lucky as I think this might also be some of the BEST pho I've had! Flavor was on point with the broth, beef was super tender, meatballs tasty, and the additions were on point and plentiful. What a perfect way to combat a cold on a cold day.

Nick F.

Yelp
If you're in the valley of the apple and you must know the place to go for some amazing Pho, then look no mo. Had a gigantic bowl of beef pho here, and it was so flavorful and fresh tasting. Various notes of deliciousness danced in my mouth with each spoon or forkful. Incredibly nice folks operating this establishment too.

Gabrielle M.

Yelp
The best pork bahn mi sandwich I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! The pork was sliced so thin, it was so tender and full of flavor. Almost like beef bulgogi. Omg the veggies to meat to bread to sauce ratio was pure chemistry and math! It was so dam good! I will only get a pork bahn mi sandwich at this location. The restaurant was cozy and inviting! Our server was wonderful. Bill came to $48 and I tipped her $20. She is just naturally great with people! This may be our new after church spot!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Simplee Pho was last week's fam takeout option during quarantine. Love, love, love the Vietnamese egg rolls. It's fun to eat here with the family because we get to try a few different dishes. For this meal we had sesame chicken, orange chicken, chicken fried rice, and broccoli and beef. And of course egg rolls. Apparently the fam likes chicken. Remember the egg roll order delivers two large egg rolls. I made the 'mistake' once of wanting two egg rolls and placing two orders. Dang, had to eat those egg rolls for a few meals. You order online and run in for paying and pickup. We had to dial the number several times to get through. Don't give up even if it takes a few tries. Popular place. Food was hot, fresh and tasty when we got it home. Support your local restaurants during these trying times. #StayAtHomeMN

Steven H.

Yelp
Our first visit to the restaurant. Very busy with take out orders. That didn't detract from very good service. Food came out in a blink of an eye! Outstanding Bun, Spring Rolls were delicious. There were several guests in the restaurant at the time of our visit. Will definitely be back!

Jamie M.

Yelp
Ode to Simplee Pho!!!!! Talk about flavorful and soul filling food!!! This place was recommended by a friend that lives in the area. I drove about 30 miles to check it out. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There were soooo many yummy things on the menu... it was hard to choose just one entree. I went with the vegetarian pho which was delicious! I also had the vegetarian egg rolls which had the perfect amount of flavor and crisp. They offer lunch specials and combination meals. I can't wait to visit this place again!

Natalie P.

Yelp
Been here a handful of times, it never fails, so good. I do recommend ordering ahead when getting a to-go order. Best part of moving to apple valley!

Aaa B.

Yelp
Been going here for years and we were one of their first customers! Our favorite are the chicken and shrimp noodle salads. Portions are big! If I want something lighter I'll get the spring rolls and a small soup. The eggrolls are so good!!

Brian H.

Yelp
Great food. So tasty! Hot and sour soup is the best. The egg rolls are perfect! The potstickers are amazing. You can't go wrong.

Shelby S.

Yelp
Went to Simplee Pho the other day for dinner. I ordered the special Vietnamese rice noodle salad which came with chicken, pork, shrimp, and eggroll. First things first the eggroll was massive and filled with meat. It wasn't as crispy as I like but it was huge so it makes up for that. The flavors of the meat were all very tasty. I especially liked the shrimp. I mostly ate the toppings and did not eat much of the noodle salad itself. The waitress was very nice and fast. Not a bad place to go to in the suburbs! For a lot of food the price was only $10.

Diana Asrate M.

Yelp
Sorry this restaurant has ok tasting food. I hate that they do not give slice raw meat the authentic way. So because they change good food to fit into those who are ignorant about other culture food I cannot give best rating

Christine P.

Yelp
Fast! Friendly! Huge Pho - easily shareable in my Mind. Amazing egg rolls that are huge and meaty

Daniel C.

Yelp
Always the best in apple valley With a full menu and happy owners. You won't be disappointed.

Michele B.

Yelp
Authentically good. Super fast service! I've been sitting outside at a baseball game all morning on an overcast, windy day. Pho hit the spot! I got an enormous bowl of steak, rice noodles, green onions, onions, and other seasonings in beef broth. It warms your soul! The shrimp spring rolls were fresh and crisp. This place is a must try!

Lynn G.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this restaurant forever. So delicious and the egg rolls were gluten free!

Amy Shin S.

Yelp
Excellent place to have an authentic vietnamese food. take out special noodle salad. It was super delicious and the staff was wonderful. I'll definitely be back!

Joe S.

Yelp
We had the fried rice, general tso chicken and egg rolls. Loved everything. This has been our go to Chinese food spot for 2 years now.

Lina R.

Yelp
Nice quaint restaurant. Fresh food and great service. My favorite entree is the KungPo Shrimp. I highly recommend the fresh spring rolls. This is one of the nicest restaurants in Apple Valley that doesn't break your wallet.

Thuy N.

Yelp
Very friendly service! The food was very reasonable price and the pho broth was very good and it came with a lot of meat! We also got a bánh mì to go and it stayed fresh and was well packaged for later that day.

Paul M.

Yelp
The absolute worst fried rice I've ever had in my life. Please see the picture. Delivered via door dash on 10/7. The rice is a combination of burnt, as you can see, and hard. I can't believe they let that leave the door. Please find somewhere else for Asian food.

Luan T.

Yelp
Wait, is Luan doing an actual food review? And...it doesn't involve a buffet(is that even possible during Convid19 era)?! Calm down peeps...I am Vietnamese after all and DO get hungry. Onto the review shall we (without sarcasm please)... Although Vietnamese restaurants are usually know for their Pho. That is NOT what I go for...I ALWAYS pick Bún bò Huế over Pho. It is a spicy beef broth soup that rivals OVER any soup. It also have some pork shanks if you are fortunate. Trust me on this, especially from a fat Vietnamese who eats really well. Their eggrolls are too die for as well. Get in our car and get some. Note: I only did take out. Something about a pandemic and no seating. Cheers.

Kim S.

Yelp
Always good food. Their egg rolls are so good. Their chicken pan fried noodles are so good and their fried rice is delicious.

Linda V.

Yelp
Everything we got was really good. If you are ever in Apple Valley definitely go check it out. Plenty of parking space.

Paula P.

Yelp
Great customer service and my favorite pho place. Their pho is my go to "sick and feel like garbage remedy" with a lot of flavor but not greasy or oily. Best cream cheese wontons in town too.

Kimberly T.

Yelp
I'm telling you right now that I'm a tough critic when it comes to Vietnamese food. I come from a Vietnamese heritage, and eat Vietnamese food on the daily, so it has a special place in my heart. My boyfriend and I were looking for a bite to eat after seeing a movie in Apple Valley, so we got to Simplee Pho around 8:00pm on a Friday night. Simplee Pho just opened a few months ago, so I was looking forward to seeing what they have to offer. We were immediately seated and given menus. They had a number of customers coming in and out, so I felt this was a good sign. I looked at the menu, and saw that they have plenty of options. They have lunch and dinner specials which is a bonus. My boyfriend ended up getting the sweet & sour chicken dinner special (comes with fried or white rice, an egg roll, and a cream cheese wonton for $8.50) and I got a bowl of egg drop soup ($3.75) and butterfly shrimp (6 for $5.95). While our food was being cooked, I overheard chitter chatter happening in the kitchen. I'm fluent in Vietnamese, so what I heard immediately registered in my ears...the male cook in the back was using Vietnamese cuss words in regards to an inquiry that one of the waitresses brought him. She said a customer had a specific question about their order. He didn't seem too happy with this and began to use cuss words. Minutes later, I saw him come out and speak politely to the customers. Regardless of how he interacted with the customers, I did not like how he responded behind the scenes. I don't think he realized anyone could hear him or understand him, but he was being loud and unprofessional. As a Vietnamese customer, that's embarrassing and disgusting to hear. For the inappropriate language, I had to knock off stars. Most of the food was great. My boyfriend liked the sweet & sour chicken + all of the extra goodies he got with the dish. Their egg rolls are massive and full of meat filling which is never usually the case at other restaurants. The butterfly shrimp was extra crispy and I loved every bite! The one thing I hated was the egg drop soup...this was NOT made properly, and nothing like how egg drop soup should taste. Typically, egg drop soup is runnier and has a lot more flavor. The soup here is essentially scrambled eggs put into a flavorless broth. I couldn't finish it because it simply had no depth. Broth is the base of any soup, and if that isn't made right, it ruins the entire bowl. Based on my first experience here, I'm not completely sold on this business. My overall exact rating of them would have been 2.5 stars. I may come back again to try some other dishes since I did like my butterfly shrimp, but the cook in the back needs to be mindful of the language he uses, so customers who do understand him don't get a bad taste in their mouth.

Michelle A.

Yelp
I swear I reviewed this place before. The lunch and dinner specials are a good value. They include fried rice as a choice instead of a ridiculous upcharge like other places do. I like chicken and brocolli and chicken with vegetables. Today I ordered a shrimp noodle salad with eggroll. This was really filling and I only ate half of it. My only tiny complaint is to use leaf lettuce or romaine. Iceberg is so cheapy. The noodles were placed on top of lettuce also. The cucumber and carrots were in a separate part of the Styrofoam container. One probably should have put in a bowl at home and tossed. The cut up peanuts weren't necessary. This would suck to someone with a peanut allergy. Next time I may ask if they can make me a Mock Duck Bahn Mi sandwich. They have mock duck and tofu on the menu. The bahn mi sandwich selections are chicken, pork and beef. The egg rolls are are definitely homemade and large. The value for food is good too. Other family members like the food too. Its hard to find good Asian food in the South Metro.

Yelp
Just got back from Hawaii and was craving for some bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) to help with my chest congestion and cough. In addition to the bun bo hue, I also ordered their vermicelli salad special with beef, shrimp, egg roll and chicken, their lunch combo of chicken lo mein, and chicken with mixed vegetables. The lo mein noodles were a little dried for my liking since I was expecting that it would be more sauce and softer but it tasted a little burnt. I didn't try the chicken with mix vegetables but it looked like it was done properly and I will probably ordered it with Stan rice next time done the fried rice didn't look appealing like normal Vietnamese/Chinese fried rice. I was a little disappointed in egg roll in the vermicelli salad because the wrapper was totally burnt and very dried. If not carefully bite, the crispiness of the wrapper could cut your gum. I was disappointed in the bun bo hue because it was not spicy, the broth was very bland with just a little pieces of meat. The container that had the noodles burn the mint leaves because it was too warm. I usually ask them to separate out the herbs from the noodles to avoid it being burn to brown. I feel like the bun bo hue had gone down hill. It use to be the best or at least my top three places to order from because their broth is steaming hot and spicy without tasting like too much MSG or salty!
