"Simplethings is for people who understand why Google Maps is better than Waze - sometimes, simpler is just better. As their name suggests, this sandwich and pie shop excels at both of those things, but on the weekend, they also offer a full brunch menu including eggs Benedict, a cowboy scramble with Portuguese sausage, and bottomless mimosas for $10." - Kat Hong

Fresh and healthy! Options for everyone. My go to for catering all occasions and events.

I’m shocked people rate this restaurant so highly. I bought one salad and added salmon, and it came out to $23 dollars! Quality was not that good, salad was not very big, and staff was not that friendly. Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten the harvest veggie salad with those soggy sweet carrots and stale tasting Brussels sprouts. It seemed like people were enjoying the sandwiches better. I was excited to try this place for the first time as it is near my place of employment, but I will not be returning .

Really enjoyed my dining experience here today. The Sweet Potato sandwich was lovely and so full of flavour. The ice coffee in the bottle's and mason jars was great too.

Good choice in Westwood for Salads, Sandwiches and Soups. You can mix 1/2 Salad, 1/2 Sandwich and Cup of Soup (any two). Their pies are pretty good too. Seating inside is limited to 2 or 3 small tables,. They have covered seating outside as well.

Staff seems unmotivated and passive aggressive. You pay before service and the terminal has a 20% tip by default. The person behind the counter eyes you condescendingly when you change the tip amount. Food and drinks were okay. An add on to our order was missing at first. Asking for it (because we paid for it) resulted in another passive aggressive reaction by the staff. Didn't feel very welcome here, which is an unusual experience. Hopefully it was just bad luck or a misunderstanding.

Such a cute little place! Food was very tasty and the staff was very helpful with recommendations. They’re adding bowls next week, so we’ll be back soon!

I came here the other day for lunch since this place is conveniently located 2 blocks from my workplace. I ordered the thanksgiving sandwich, which has roast turkey, cranberry chutney, jalapeño cornbread stuffing, and sage gravy on michetti roll for $9.50 not including tax. The description for the sandwich made me believe that I was going to be taking a bite into a flavorful thanksgiving dinner. However, I was sorely disappointed. The sandwich just tasted like any other roast turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. I was hoping to really taste the cornbread stuffing with gravy, but I didn't really get that. The sandwich ingredients weren't spread evenly throughout the whole sandwich, which is a little irritating. I would probably give this place another chance and maybe one of their other sandwiches will make up for my disappointment with the thanksgiving one.
