If I could rate this place higher I absolutely would. Despite it's small appearance there's a whole Lotta love that goes Into this food. Everything is cooked to order so it's FRESH. I ordered a large gumbo and their two piece fish that comes with two sides. With that I got the greens and macaroni and cheese. All of it bomb and they have the holy grail of all kool-aid 😌

For $18 my Mac n cheese had burnt hard cheese. Yams were dry and hard. Fish was fire. The place looked like it was falling apart inside. Not going back I really tried to support the local small business but there's no saving this place with bad food SMH.

I was in the mood for soul food! Gonna be honest, it was a little sketchy for what I’m used to in Vegas so I knew he had to be good. Anyways, go and order, he was out of a lot of things but it worked out. Got a 5 piece chicken with Mac and cheese and rice and beans. He was out of some chicken so he completed with some wings. Wanted them candied yams but he was out. Let me tell you, FLAVORFUL!! Mac and cheese was cool but the rice and beans was also really good. Definitely want to stop by and grab another plate!! Like I said, FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND FLAVORFUL.

I ordered the oxtail meal, large gumbo, strawberry shortcake dessert cup and a slice of 7up cake. Everything was delicious! The facility was clean and organized. “A” rating! The oxtail came with 4 sides. The oxtail meat was so tender and juicy and flavorful! The gumbo was amazing and had sausage, chicken, shrimp and crab legs in it. It made about 3 serving in a large cereal bowl days after. The flavor got better and better! It only took about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. There’s a cute patio area right outside. There was a monitor set up at the foot playing oldies. The chef was super nice and professional and skilled! I’ll definitely be back to taste the rest of the menu! We're visiting Vegas from Miami and searched for "food near me" while at the Las Vegas Convention Center. we walked there & it was worth every step.... drizzling rain and 48° 😃 It's in the cut, but big on flavor. There's a side table in the corner which was perfect to dine in but it's definitely a takeout place. EVERYTHING was well seasoned and fried to perfection! I had the 2 PC fish (catfish) with red beans/rice & mac/cheese. Soooo sooo good 😊

I found this... almost by accident, the food is bomb!, one of the best greens I've eaten in Vegas, the customer service is great, they even gave me a free cornbread piece!! I don't even like cornbread that much... that cornbread didn't last 2 minutes😅... gone... was delicious! Definitely I'll be back!

Food is worth a review for sure. I’ve been in Vegas since August 2023 and haven’t found a soul food restaurant that tops this since being here. The food is 10/10 fresh to order, no long wait, not a line out the door and I received exactly what I asked for. I had the oxtail plate with greens, mac and cheese and red beans and rice, and two pieces of chicken with a Jamaican beef patty. I am beyond impressed. I finally found my soul food place, loyal customer for sure. Plus it’s priced great!

This is a nice little hole in the wall. There is no dining room. It’s takeout only. However, the food was very good. A little pricey but the quality of the food was well worth it. I would definitely recommend.
