Simply Pho House

Simply Pho House at the Galleria is one of our family’s favorite neighborhood restaurants! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. We especially love the Pad Thai, Kung Pao Shrimp, Red Curry, and their refreshing Boba Tea; all packed with bold, authentic flavors. Highly recommended for anyone craving great Thai and Vietnamese food near the Galleria… One thing is I have noticed that their Yellow Curry, is less soupy or curried compared to many other Thai restaurants so prepare yourself on that . I guess I thought it was supposed to be in the format of the Red Curry😍! Regardless we all enjoyed our meals, and we will continue to try new things on the menu every time we visit .

My husband and I forever love this place! Been going off and on for over 10 years and it never disappoints! From the Salt and Pepper wings- we love these! Prices are very reasonable, you get large portions which is usually lunch and dinner for us. My husband likes the Kung Pao Chicken a lot, I had the Pho Rib Eye and meatball noodle soup, and everything was flavorful, tasty, and delicious. The servers are very attentive, atmosphere is great, very casual and nice welcoming vibe. We have all good things to say about Simply Pho House! Keep up the great work! I ordered the general tsos chicken, extra spicy and I loved my meal. Also ordered the mocha cappuccino and it was delish! Would go back 100%

Same price for the bahn mi sandwiches. But noticably shorter. The 8 inch sandwich is now 6 inches. Is the cost savings worth it?

Authentic restaurants like this one are hard to find. Friendly waitstaff makes you feel welcome and great food to match. Definitely worth the visit.

Food is great. The pork bahn mi sandwiches are delicious but they smaller than they used to be. I also like the vermicelli lemon grass pork bowls. They are always consistently good. Lastly, the boba drinks are delicious. Sometimes they take a long time to answer the phone for to-go orders. Other than that, I've always had good service. The restaurant itself is always packed.

Overall we really like it here. There's many options for the kids even for non foodie kids. Our kids normally have the pho with rib eye and brisket and thoroughly enjoy it. We've had salad and the smoking beef as well as the chicken vermicelli with egg rolls. And there's the pop corn chicken which is just chicken nuggets if you want that as an option. Consistent and reliable for a quick weekend bite for us. The little robot that runs around and delivers drinks is always exciting for our son to watch :)

This is their best location and has never disappointed. Pho is excellent! Other dishes are a very western spin on Asian food, but always great. You'll enjoy.

Cute little spot with friendly workers, and food that will do when if you're craving it. I got the pho because they're called Pho House and was kind of surprised by how expensive it was. Even more so surprised when I started eating. Don't get me wrong, the pho wasn't bad. But it was also morning to write home about. The broth was pretty light, but it wasn't as deep as I have experienced at other spots. And while I know rice noodles are on the more delicate side, I feel like these noodles didn't really have any chew at all, which I do prefer. And then I was even more surprised to see how small the portions are. Usually a regular bowl size of pho is enough as a meal for me. But I was still hungry after. I thought maybe it was just me? Though one other friend agreed with me. It was obvious that was the case though, when my friend who usually gets full easily finished her bowl and also wasn't satisfied. Also their ac vents were dripping, so we definitely had a few moments while we were eating where it got on us.

I waited over an hour at my table waiting to be served, the hostess at the front kindly brought us drinks after a 45 minute wait (she's a LEGEND considering this is not her responsibility) made eye contact and waved at multiple waitress and waiters and was completely ignored at around the 50 minute mark of waiting. Finally had the opportunity to order at around the 1 hour mark. Multiple people in the restaurant were becoming impatient as well waiting to pay. The pho was great. The service was absolute trash and someone who actually cares needs to be hired.

Really enjoyed our dinner of chicken broccoli and chicken rice dish. The waiter spiced my dish up as I requested and it was delicious. Nice atmosphere and really nice waitstaff. Will definitely return.

I have been to Simply Pho several times, and always enjoyed my experience and food. Tonight at the Bee Cave location was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. Not only was my table and experience awful, but every table around me was complaining and commenting to the manager and staff about the service. Starting with the 2 servers that were managing the entire restaurant and unable to keep up the demand to the behavior of the manager who was not only unapologetic but down right rude and disrespectful to the paying customers. Not only should you NOT EVER go here, but every single person that worked there was telling us that online orders took precedence over the people sitting inside. We waited over 30 minutes to have anyone come to our table and bring us waters, that was after flagging down the hostess to have our server come to the table. We then waited another 20 minutes for our bar drinks to come to the table. Our drink orders were incorrect and then once food came out, one of the meals didn't come for yet another 20 minutes. After 1.5 hours and nothing but rudest service from absolutely everyone, there is no way we will be returning. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE.

We tried the Bee Cave location for this chain. The restaurant is much larger than their Dripping Springs location, and has pretty good ingress and egress. Food came out with the same good consistency and the staff was attentive. I like this chain and really love their Pho soup.

Great little find where it was difficult to find Asian food. Everything that we ordered tasted great. Only complaint I had was I felt like I didn't have enough noodles for my pho. The service was great and very attentive. A very clean and newer restaurant.

Fast super fresh and so tasty!!!! Very Walkable from the Hill Country Galleria. High marks for having hosin sauce on the table, but the Smoking Beef Vermicelli did not need anything else but eating. So delicious!! High quality beef strips. The shrimp spring rolls were excellent. Pho with brisket is a solid win. Inside is spacious very nice. Bar is fully loaded! Service is great and they also have adorable service robot.

Full disclosure: I have not personally been here but my son has with his friends multiple times. He reports that the food is really good and the boys he goes with are very well behaved kids. I understand that when they have gone with a large group (7+) that the restaurant includes gratuity. However, last night he went with 4 other boys and they also added 20% tip automatically without disclosing that anywhere on menu or website. My son also said that when he askes the server to wait until the whole party had arrived to order that the server said no. (NOT good service and honestly, if I received that service it would affect the server's tip). Also, the last time the boys all paid in cash and some weren't given their change. Now, again, I haven't been here but the restaurant should be careful about how they treat their customers even when they are kids. The added gratuity without disclosure is not legal and frankly, I believe they are taking advantage of and worse, discriminating against kids. My son enjoys going with his friends but we have now educated him about his rights in these situations and I STRONGLY encourage the restaurant to reevaluate their treatment of customers even and especially when they are kids because it is still discrimination and it is illegal. I do hope the management takes this seriously.

Edit: they seemed to have changed something in the past few years and the Singapore vermicelli just comes out too...wet? Anyways, I've stopped getting that now but the pho, banh mi, and wings are still good.

Simply put, the pho is elite. Their crab rangoons are special and everything they make tastes fresh. The whole place is clean. Sad they don't do door dash or new eats, you have to order and pick up. Everytime we eat here, it's always been delish with each bite.

This place is our go-to, several times a month. We always get the "B-4" with extra pork and split it, it's fantastic! We love the crab rangoons and broth. It comes out super hot, but worth the wait! Occasionally, the boba tapioca balls are hard but 9 times out of 10, the boba tea is fantastic.

Delicious! I see the mixed reviews, perhaps it's on the dish. Our food arrived SO fast in under 10 min! The quality was not compromised either. We came around 7pm. Food ordered: (all came as large portions) Lemongrass veggie dish (with extra veggies) and it was flavorful and spicy. It came with rice. Highly recommended. Egg rolls - fresh, crunchy, as expected Pho soups - get the large for $1 extra. Be careful on spicy/heat levels. Flavorful; was well seasoned and salt level balanced with spice. Drink- we had the $8 sake; I would get this one again as well. Parking easy Service was wonderful! We had Michelle and she was attentive, friendly, and quick. I hope we have her again.

When you're out in this side of town, definitely stop by. The pho broth was ok, it wasn't balanced. Missing a little more anise or fish sauce. the noodles were perfectly cooked but my beef was overcooked. my boyfriend's red curry was really good and the rice was cooked to fluffiness goodness. the fresh spring rolls were smaller than what I am typically used to but it wasn't like they skimped on the shrimp. I was told that the restaurant hasn't had a delivery of sriracha for a week now. the shortage is real! the really attentive and outgoing server did give me sriracha packets and gave us this other brand to try. it's NOT the same. thank goodness for the packets. the ambiance is nice and they have boba teas for $6. we ate around 5PM and it got busy quickly. nice place.

This place should get higher than stars. Fresh, friendly, delicious Asian cuisine. The restaurant is spotlessly clean! Great staff! I could not recommend more!

Bubble tea (original w boba) 6/10 - cute packaging, love the robo delivery, boba was soft and chewy but not sweet enough and neither was the tea and I'm someone who usually asks for 50%sugar at chain boba places. Green curry w tofu 8/10 Loved how huge the portion was, enough for 2 more meals at home! The curry was creamy and sweet but with a spicy kick so it didn't feel sugary. I felt like there wasn't enough tofu at all though which was disappointing and I went home and added half a box. Would prefer if my curry had more than just onions and some peppers! Pad kee mao - 7/10 While this was delicious, where were the noodles?!? I absolutely love the thick flat rice noodles which is why I always order this dish at Thai restaurants but while my husband and I loved how this tasted we were fighting over the noodles since there were barely any! Like actually this veggie noodle ratio was definitely off. All in all, service was very fast, food was delicious though I'd appreciate if things weren't skimped on, I'd love to try the Vietnamese dishes from here next time!

Food was awful. Least effort possible. No flavor. Service was nice though. 35$ was a waste for one app and a meal.

Ordered take out. When I got home part of my meal was missing. I called and they asked me if I wanted to come back and pick up the missing item. What I really wanted was to eat my food. I told them I wasn't going to drive 12 miles to pick up the missing item. They said they would credit me an appetizer next time I came in. I'm some how supposed to remind them that they owe me.. What the should have done is refund my meal and apologized. Don't tell me there's a new girl in the back. The resolution was to drive 24 miles to pickup the missing item and eat it when! Customer service is weak. Doubt I will go back.

Every time I come here, I tell myself it's the last time. My kids insist on visiting every once in a while but tonight is where I draw the line. The dishes are all half assed. The prices are exorbitant. This place is a cash grab. $10 for a kids bowl of pho that comes with noddles and two thin slices of chicken? No veggies, really? The broth is not a traditional pho broth. It has to be a mix of bouillon cubes. The banh mi is a joke. Where do you even find meat sliced this thin? Why charge $9 for it? If you want to pay a hefty "Bee Cave tax" for crappy, inauthentic Viet (?) food, come here for a meal.

I personally love the variety and options of their menu. It's very fast and so much to choose from honestly can't go wrong with this place great service and chill atmosphere.

Amazing food & service!! We have been to all 3 locations and found consistency. The Smoking Beef Vermicelli & their amazing spring rolls are our absolute favorites. The beef is so flavorful and ingredients are fresh & crisp. This restaurant is one of our favorites!!

We are regulars at Simply Pho in Bee Cave. The service is good and so is the food. Like every business now, staffing is an issue but I'm not going to really complain about it, but that is the reason I gave them a four not a five. It's just hard now to provide that level of service in a casual restaurant today. I recommend Simply Pho and will continue to make it a regular part of our going out.

This place is wonderful. Everything we had was delicious. Service was a little slow at times but they were super busy and the staff could not have been nicer. We will be coming back every time we are in Marble Falls!

This is a chain pho restaurant that I feel does a good job making fairly authentic tasting food. I had a huge bowl of their pho and I was very full and the broth really hit the spot and was definitely good enough to satisfy the pho craving I was having. I won't say it was the best pho I've ever had since it wasn't particularly special or had anything unique as far as the ingredients/taste go, so I wouldn't seek it out per se but I would definitely come here again if I was in the area around the galleria! The service was fairly quick as well, they had delivery robots that bring drinks and desserts to so I imagine that speeds things up. The restaurant was also very clean and is conveniently located right at the galleria mall itself so is an easy option for lunch if you want boba and/or pho.

Ok, let's talk about service: our waiter was very patient with me, as I didn't like the first dish I had (I was sensitive to the fish sauce) and brought out the next order fairly quick. In terms of my second order, the beef fried rice, it was probably the best thing I've tasted in a long time. Beef was tender and well seasoned, and the rice was cooked perfectly. And I'm particular about my egg rolls, but when I say I could get eaten 20 of those, I mean it.

Amazing food!! Fantastic selections and generous portions as well. As a vegan, gluten free dish: I love the Singapore noodles and the Curry dish. Tofu is my protein choice. If you love spicy, you can add chili oil and not be disappointed. It's so flavorful! If you don't have allergies: try the Wok on Fire Flat Noodle Dish. I look forward to trying more selections from there. I have gone when they are busy and when they are not, and I've never had a long wait time from the time I order.

You won't be disappointed! When you pull up it's got the typical shopping center could be sketchy look from outside..... yet when you go in it's a really nice place they did great with the design! On to the food! We really splurged here as I wanted to try a few different meals. Shrimp spring rolls- BOMB! Hard to mess up Tom Kao soup- omg so amazing. A blend of sweetness from the coconut milk.... must try! Brisket & ribeye & vegetable pho- they did great on both. Small portions are large!! We will be back to try the Sandwiches soon! What a beautiful ambience. We went here for brunch on Sunday and really enjoyed the new location and the decor. The kids loved the robot that brought out the beverages and the food was very good. It was very busy and the service was a bit slow with only one server but overall we will definitely be back.

This place was excellent! I had the spicy chicken vidllimi. It was out of this world in the portion size was very large. I noticed that it had a lower star score after I got ready to post this review. I'm not sure why. My experience was top notch all the way around.

I don't have pictures of my food from Simply Pho House, but, I can tell you I typically get Pho from here once a week. It's such a great place for Pho! I absolutely love the chicken Pho, the salt and pepper wings are my husbands favorite and the chicken fried rice is always a staple order that we save for a lunch during the week. Depending on where we were when ordering we switch between Dripping Springs and Bee caves. Both places are great. We can say that the food is consistently delicious and just as we ordered!!

I would try again the food was good the service was very very nice they where very patient and the service was very quick I definitely enjoyed and would rate it 5 stars

The food was really good and large portions. Service was decent, although they did mess up my order; I got a combo instead of just beef. Which was too bad. Because the beef is the best protein on the menu. But I was kinda happy to try the shrimp and chicken too! The rice noodles are fantastic. Did I mention the large portion? It's got a good vibe too. More classy than most pho house.

If you live in Lakeway or Bee Cave and not wanting to drive very far, this place will do in a pinch. Overall a very average bowl of pho. Nothing memorable about it and broth is very one note. If you don't mind a 30 min drive and want to taste what a quality bowl of pho tastes like, i urge you to try Pho Phong Luu and then compare it to this place.

Came in only to order two boba drinks, but somehow they made both of them incorrectly. They fixed one of them and the server was nice, but I was left unimpressed.

Walking in we were greeted with the most delicious smell, so I could only hope that the food could match. Good news: it ABSOLUTELY did. Everything was perfection here. The rare steak pho was delicious and the broth was savory and flavorful, even without adding hoisin and sriracha. One of my dining companions had the veggie and tofu pho and noted that the vegetables were all fresh, our waitress recommended the spicy chicken vermicelli to my other dining companion and it was perfectly seasoned, tasty but not overwhelmingly spicy. We ordered the jasmine tea with lemon, ginger and honey as well which was high quality. If you ever find yourself in the Bee Cave area with a craving for pho, I can't recommend this place more!

Was craving pho and decided to order from here(ordered to go for pick up to eat at home) Biggest mistake ever. Do not get their pho!! The broth is disgustingly oily and yellow?? And tasted like straight up curry. Did they try to cook pho in a dirty pot that they used to cook curry or did they just dump a bunch of curry powder in there on purpose? Just overpoweringly oily and very very sweet. It tastes nothing like pho. The ribeye beef was also low quality and terrible. So gross. Couldn't eat it. Stay away from this place!!! Definitely the worst pho in Austin (or even ever). ***Moderator removed the original review. Dishonest business?***

Simply Pho is my go-to restaurant for comfort food on cold fall and winter nights -- as well as any other time for that matter. This restaurant is always busy, which is not a surprise given the quality meals, reasonable prices and clean/friendly setting. My choice tonight was the P3: Brisket and Rib Eye Pho. This is one of my favorites, as the beef is always tender and plentiful, and the noodles are just the right consistency of being soft without being soggy. For me, pho is always a feast for the senses, especially after the addition of basil leaves, lime juice, bean sprouts, jalapeno peppers, cilantro, hoisin sauce and Sriracha. I left pretty satisfied tonight. BTW, their stir fry dishes are great too.

Sorry, no photos this time yelpers I left, with disgust!! 1st let me say, I'm a regular since 2017 and I am disgusted of what I have seen and and witnessed. The woman who was a little heavy and Hispanic was at the bar who thought it was funny that my glass was filthy with lip marks, food particles and disgusting and still served it to me. She thought it was very funny, giggling and laughing. I did let her know that this is a health issue since covid is going around. Yes sometimes Restaurants do change and this is one of them so pay attention it gets worse worse. I then ordered the egg rolls, which were frozen in the "middle of the egg roll, I came up since no 1 was waiting on me I usually sit at the regular place. I normally sit at which is by the window to see the water.. The waitress at the bar put her finger deep inside the egg roll which I thought was disgusting then again another health issue your health issue. She then started making excuses saying we have a new cook he doesn't know the rules yet.. But yet they continued to serve me my next dish which was PHO Brisket. This time it was very very hot the noodles were overcooked bunched up you couldn't separate them with a fork then the beef was very small, I thought maybe they're suffering maybe they're having financial difficulties but "no I found out they were building another restaurant", which is down the way. By this time the lady at the bar was laughing again thinking it was real funny that this time I was pretty angry reason why I didn't take photos I should have but I just was so angry that I left and discussed knowing my food was probably Not safe to eat. I then ask for the manager to speak to then this Asian lady comes up to me has the same excuses of the same cook that they're complaining about what but not correcting the issue. I then asked who the manager was since I found out she wasn't the manager. They said he was at the other restaurant so I get in my car and I'm going down there to give him information on his restaurant that he needs to know about. He was absolutely dumbfounded didn't say anything to me say anything to me and he says hes going to look at the video the video which is a camera as I told them about the cameras they do have and he can look at it himself never got back with me never asked my information never got my name didn't care he just went back to his own business. I do not recommend coming back until they clean up this place health issue important if you're worried about covid which I am I can't believe that they would serve me food that is tainted with food particles lip stains God knows what else. Wait to see what will happen with this new restaurant I'd like to see that with the anger that I have at the time with no one to wait on me no 1 to care about my concerns except laughing at me is what that lady did at the bar the Hispanic woman at the bar had no knowledge what was happening in a restaurant.

I struggle to give them 1 star. I ordered food by favor. It arrived not as expected. I contacted them and was put on hold several times, with 2 different people coming to the phone. I have been a customer for 4-5 years in the Bee Caves area and would have expected a better response. All I got was a, oh well, and when I told them the way to keep a customer was to not question them and all I got was put on hold after 3 words into the conversation. I spent left over 20 minutes and then hung up on. All it needed was a $10 refund but What they have now is a customer that will NEVER speak a good word of them and NEVER go there again. Hope it was worth it.

This place is the best ever! No wonder it was busy every time I went. The inside is beautiful, nice booths and tables and a nice bar area when you walk in. The coolest part is that a robot delivers your bubble tea and smoothies, which are incredible! The Vietnamese food is authentic tasting! So good I came back twice while we were staying in the hospital down the road. Definatly eat here! It's delicious!

I was just there on a date, and the food was great! I would give the 5 stars, but their robot server was a distraction.

My family and I come here often, we love this place. The the people and food here are great and great customer customer service and there's always a surprisingly smooth and tasteful soundtrack in the background to add to the ambience of the place. My step daughter loves the robot that serves drinks as well. She calls her robie.

Love their pho (usually get the P3 with chili oil on the side) and egg rolls as a starter. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is friendly.

Our go to for Thai for-the past 10+ years Rebranded from Blue Bamboo a couple of years ago and now in the building where PeiWei was. We also eat at their Marble Falls location with same results Consistent quality with a full Thai menu I enjoy the TomYum, spiced just right and very aromatic full of chicken My wife has the Chicken with rolls vermicelli which she raves about We have eaten here at least 20 times with ZERO complaints Enjoy
