Love Simply Texas and all the spices and hot sauces. Plus the sampling. A few that I wasn’t a fan of but so many options you’re bound to find several you like. I highly recommend this shop and Matt. Great vibes and super friendly.

Owner and operated. I thought I was going to over pay for products. Nope very reasonable price wonderful selection. You can taste most of the products before you buy them. They have all heat levels from 1 to 10.

Hey you! Yeah, you! If you’re a spice connoisseur like myself, you NEED to swing by here. Did you know Melinda’s makes ghost pepper ranch? Bet you didn’t! AND the owner is truly a top shelf guy. He’s super friendly and down to earth, he also studies western esotericism which is super niche and cool. Always trust a man that studies Kabbalah. 10/10 experience, and you know I left with a bottle of Melinda’s ghost pepper ranch.

Took a stroll thru Old Town Spring and found this store. If you like hot sauce, this is the place to go. Loved the fact that they have several opened bottles for you to taste before you purchase them. Owner is easy to deal with and very helpful in choosing what you want & helped us find the pairing we were looking for.

We've heard about this place for a while and finally found the time to check it out. This place is wall-to-wall food flavor enhancers. There are so many hard to find hot sauces and a ton more that we've never been exposed to. They have a giant "sample bar" for the hot sauces so you'll know what you're getting yourself into before making a purchase. They also carry a great range of seasonings and oils. We will definitely be coming back here!

Need some sauce? Check them out then!!! They had my Hotline Pepper products on hand (evil ooze is my favorite)!! They have so many varieties of hot sauce, specialty sauce and other sauces!! The owner, Matt, is very nice and helpful!! It’s definitely a Vibe!!

I've visited the shop and placed orders online and the experience has always been great. Staff is very friendly and can help point you in the right direction depending on your spice level. There is a tasting station right in the front door to try sauces before you buy. I will be visiting again and placing more orders in the future.

Simply Texas Gourmet foods is the perfect place if you’re looking for hot sauce related products. They have sauces, seasons, spicy foods, and even a tasting section if you’re not sure what you want. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and happy to help. If you’re local you need to check this place out, but if you’re not local you have to check this place out before you leave because you don’t want to miss it. In addition, it’s nestled in old town Spring which is a really cool historic area of town that you can check out while you’re here. Happy hot saucing!!!!!

2nd time in this groovy, cool spice and marinade specialty store.Visit just for the owners witty stories and laid back accounts of people and places he has encountered. We were even able to find some pecan rub spices have been looking for months. Huge selection of hot sauces that you can try before you buy. Definitely worth a look for fun banter , great customer service and a cool vibe to enjoy as you shop around Old Towne Spring.

Lots of unique hot sauces, a variety of pickled items, jams, and libation bases to name a few. You want hot, he has it!

I have no idea if they actually serve food here, but one thing they do have, is a CRAP ton of hot sauce, which I love. I couldn't even choose. The man working there was super nice and helpful and you can tell him what you want and he'll try to narrow the choices down. They'll even give you a sample! I was able to get some Garlic Scorpion Pepper sauce and I already tried it when I got home to CA and damn it's good on everything and def has a kick. Great place if you are a hot sauce guy like me!

If you are looking (or not looking) for a fabulous assortment of salsas, hot sauce, jams and pickles, you simply must pay a vist to Matt at Simply Texas in Old Town Spring!! The shop is also filled with memorable Prices are reasonable too!

Simply put, this little spot Rocks! I haven't quite been able to wrap my hands around their opening and closing times yet but once I do catch them open, I'm one happy camper. Ever so often I love to drive out to Old Town Spring to get my 'support local' on. This whole area reminds me of that small town life that I grew up in. There hasn't been a time that when I visit that area that I don't drop by to see if this spot is open. Why am I so eager to stop by here? Mainly just two words... Beef Jerky! This little spot sells some of the hottest, spiciest beef jerky that I've ever experienced. All made by the owner himself. In fact after trying it I immediately asked him who made this and are they okay. He said yes why? I said because who ever made this must be insane. (Note that I am a huge spice fan. Total pepper head. And this stuff is spicy gold.) I also want to note that this place has a nice variety of some of the spiciest pepper sauces that you can find in Houston. And they do have tasters for you to try before you buy. Let me tell you I was in spicy heaven. I've only been able to find this place open twice so that's the reason for the 4 stars. I've gone several different times on Saturdays and Sundays and most times I find them closed. So I'm not certain if the hours posted on this Yelp page is accurate. Once I catch it open again I will confirm and update accordingly. Get your Jerk on and Prosper!

If you like sauce.... This is the spot to go!!! Oh boy, Oh boy!!! The owner, Matt, is amazing!! He was very informative and knowledgeable about the sauce !! I even tried a few of them (hot but delicious)!! Will definitely be returning and it's not far from home for me !!

Yum, yum, yum. In a fun location amidst the other funky shops in Spring, this place is airy and inviting. There were lots of things to taste right there in the shop, and the staff were friendly and helpful, packing up my order to be shipped to California. Their salsas are creative, well-balanced, and very flavorful. I really liked this shop as well as the service.
