Simpson's Cottage is perfect! The house is beautifully appointed and full of character, the beds are super comfortable, and the view from the garden is spectacular! We spent so much time at the garden table enjoying the winter sun. Thank you Tara!

5 Stars 🌟 A Truly Special Stay Simpson Cottage is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the care and attention to detail that has gone into creating this beautiful space. The styling is stunning, the home is spotless, and every little touch, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cosy nooks; made us feel right at home. The views are breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the everyday. Our kids loved exploring the garden, and we really appreciated how family-friendly the space was. It’s clear that the hosts have poured so much heart into this place..we were relaxed, inspired, and already planning our return before we even left. I’ve already recommended Simpson Cottage to friends and family, and can’t wait to come back. A truly special stay.

We went for ladies weekender for 2 nights in May. We got really lucky with the weather, the sun was shining and we had the best time eating/laughing/swimming, quick walk to Wedding Cake and then more eating. The rooms are spacious and kitchen has everything we needed to whip up all the meals. The bathtub was amazing, defo recommend if you have time for extra relaxation!! Tara is defo the host with the most. Hoping we can return in the nearest future!

No better way to kick off the school holidays than a stay at the Simpson Cottage. Such a beautiful and incredible place to unwind and switch off. Extensive grounds for the kids to run, outdoor dining where you can have dinner and watch the sun set and a trail from the backyard to the beach. Thank you so much for all your assistance and being such an awesome host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Simpson Cottage is a beautiful sanctuary of tranquility. So close to Sydney CBD and yet feels a world away. Tara is a very generous and thoughtful host and has taken care of all the details plus so much more - with delightful extras like a cheeseboard on arrival and sweet treats for little ones.  The historic home is very comfortable and beautifully decorated, overlooking the bay, with all the amenities and luxuries one could desire for a relaxing and nurturing weekend escape. We had a wonderful stay there for Mother's Day weekend with extended family and will definitely be back.

What an incredible experience! Simpson Cottage is without a doubt one of the most special and unique places we have ever stayed. The cottage is so clearly cherished by Tara and her family, it is lovingly cared for and we feel very grateful to have been able to have experienced it all. The location is fantastic and views from every angle are breathtaking. All the guests were blown away and many more excuses to rent the cottage again have been found! Tara was accommodating, friendly and we felt so very welcome. I cannot speak more highly of Simpson Cottage and it's caretakers. Thank you Tara x

Just the break we needed to pause, relax and refresh. We loved the beautiful historic sandstone cottage with all the interior styling details, vintage treasures, handmade linen and the stunning views. So many highlights...walking through the picturesque garden from Simpson Cottage with sandstone steps direct access down to the beach and having a lovely coastal walk to Bundeena to buy a coffee and seeing dolphins on the way. We also did a hike in the National Park which has an amazing trail you can follow. Tara thought of every detail in the most perfect way. I was very inspired to draw the lovely views at Simpson Cottage. We didn't want to leave and hope to back soon to this very magical place.

This was our second stay at Simpson Cottage and it was just as good as the first stay. Once again the view, décor, lovely garden and the amazingly restored cottage were beautiful. The complimentary delicious food platter (dips, cheeses and other savoury delights) and bottle of wine really started our weekend off in style. The location is amazing and we enjoyed walks to Bonnie Vale and Bundeena. The view of the Port Hacking River is amazing. It really is a special place to spend a relaxing time away.
