Another hidden gem in the city of Athens which merges Greek tradition with modern techniques. We selected the 8 course menu and it was a great experience. Every course followed a sequence which made total sense. Probably traxanas was our highlight dish of the dining.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Simul. Very creative and tasty bistronomic food in a friendly and cozy atmosphere. Seasoning is a tiny bit strong on some plates.

Our experience with this restaurant was not at the level we expected The portions were extremely small, they had no special flavors and their serving was simple and basic. The fish dish was extremely salty and was sent back to the chef. Note: If a restaurant of this level changes its tasting menu and raises the prices, it seems to us that it should inform the person who reserved a table in order to reconsider his reservation and not present him with a fait accompli

Sorry for the bad photos on the bread and pre-dessert(ice cream, I forgot to take the picture first and then eat.... The food was perfect... Superb... I even aight stuff I don't usually eat... Be careful of the wine pairing... You will probably need a taxi back home... Congratulations to the staff, everything was perfect... Even the music in the background

This restaurant is a must visit in Athens. It breaths honesty down to its core. The atmosphere is pleasant, service is impeccable, informed, and kind. They make you feel welcome. Food carries the logic of plates to share. And they do accomplish to elevate your gastronomic experience with their honesty and their imagination. Flavours that are brilliantly combined and presented. Well done to the chef and the whole team for what they have accomplished and for keeping this journey grounded and inspired.

excellent service and amazing recipes! we ‘ve tried all the dishes of the menu and the deserts. Hands down the rooster was the king of the menu , don’t sleep on this dish. personal favourites catch of the day tartare and the liver. thank you so much for this delicious experience! Phenomenal! compliments to the chef and the stuff

Great place for delicious food. The menu is small and based on the principle of people sharing dishes. We opted for four dishes and wine and they were all absolutely mouthwatering. Hard to pick a favorite but it had to be one out of the beef tartare, the beef (?) heart skewer, the chanterelle mushrooms and quail pile, it would have to be the latter one. Just out of this world tasty. Would definitely return to try the seafood dishes as well.

We visited Simul with the dine Athens program and we were thankful that we managed to book a table there. The place and the atmosphere are very relaxed and the music choices are excellent. Concerning the food all dishes were delicious (not sure if they are part of the standard menu though) and the quantinty was just right. I enjoyed the variety of them, from fish to vegeterian to meat. Wine was list also very interesting and we tried the Malagouzia from Tatsis winery which was a perfect match for the menu. Totally worth a visit
