Nice restaurant , fine dining, calm exterior area with cozy atmosphere. We tried several plates all of them made with interesting approaches and qood ingredients. For the level of the prices vs overall taste experience I am not 100 % if it is truly value for money.

There’s much to enjoy about Simul. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is enjoyable. However, as a restaurant, the main question is about the food. And, unfortunately, I found the food a disappointment. Of the 6 savoury dishes featured in the tasty menu, 3 leaned acidic, if not vinegary. Not inedible, just not balanced. Further, the squid and cod dishes were slightly overcooked. Not what I expect from a restaurant with this high of reputation, rating, and price. The beef course was the most classic tasting, balanced, and strongest of the savoury dishes. The desserts were a very redeemable end. Not a bad meal, just not worth the cost in my opinion. Perhaps the a la carte is the way to go.

Had a super nice family lunch here. We decided sharing a la carte plates, dishes greatly presented. Tastes and mouth feel of the plates very good. Wines we tried were great. Attentive service what made a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Another hidden gem in the city of Athens which merges Greek tradition with modern techniques. We selected the 8 course menu and it was a great experience. Every course followed a sequence which made total sense. Probably traxanas was our highlight dish of the dining.

We dined there as a couple and enjoyed the brilliant tasting menu. Every course was delicious, imaginative, perfectly sized and outstanding. And the service was outstanding as well as being informative and engaging. Superb!

The female sommelier lady provides an excellent service, perhaps even too good for this place, she certainly knows how to be attentive and constantly keeps an eye on all the tables. Perfection and it really made us appreciated this evening. We have tried the degustation menu & it is a bit of hit and miss - some of the dishes were delicious (cheeks, fish, desserts, amuse bouche) and some were either plain (cauliflower, lamb) or burnt (the poor octopus was rather inedible). 🤷‍♀️ The price for the degustation menu is only 80 euros and you get extra amuse bouche and also one pre-desert. Wine pairing was around 50€, thus price point is pretty low and therefore we don’t mind we didn’t really like some of the dishes. They also are pretty good in adjusting the dishes, in case you have a gluten allergy.
