This was a wonderful experience. Our instructors were very helpful, patient and fun. We were celebrating a birthday and this was a fabulous way to do so. I didn't write down names of our instructors, but have included a picture. Great afternoon!

Google
SiNaCa Studios is a hidden gem. As a small nonprofit glass art school, it delivers an incredible hands-on experience. The instructors are true masters of their craft, and learning from them is so fun. Must do activity!

Google
Fantastic experience taking a class here! Canaan was an excellent instructor and lots of fun to work with. His assistant instructor Madeline took photos for me while I was learning! Christian was great at explaining what was going on while we were observing. Highly recommend! Also, there is a cute gift shop with hand made jewelry, glassware and art that I have my eye on for Christmas gift purchases!

Google
My husband and I did the 30 min glass blowing class. We each chose our colors, help fire it, then swirled the colors and blow it into shape. The instructors were wonderful, clear instructions, and incredibly patient. We have already made our reservations to go back and make ornaments for X-mas!!

Google
I have taken 3 glass blowing classes (survey 1&2 and Tumblers) from Kevin and Clifton. Both instructors were fantastic! They have such a good way of communicating with various students and are encouraging and funny. I highly recommend this studio and these classes to everyone I talk to about it! Glass blowing itself is great! It is a different kind of creative challenge that is so physical and intuitive (hopefully more so as I continue!) I fully plan on continuing to explore the craft and take more advanced classes soon!

I love this place. I have been by a couples of times to check out their live sessions, which are amazing. I also volunteered for an evening at their annual glass pumpkin patch! It's such a great location with so many wonderful folks who just want to get folks involved in the arts. Their method is glass. They're a 501(c)3 non profit and do a lot of great stuff in the community. They offer drop in classes if you want to check something out. They also offer so many events. So be sure to head to their website or just go in and check out their world class gallery and chat with whoever is there. You'll love them. Everyone is awesome and despite having never taken a class, I find myself here often when I am in town. I'll update my review once I am around long enough to get a class in. 🙃

Google
Wow what an incredible evening! This was so amazing! The whole class was well run. The instructors all knew exactly what to say and demonstrate so that I felt confident to try this experience. They complimented me in such a way that it felt genuine and they were excited to share their art with me. These people are true artists and I highly recommend taking a glass blowing class here. I cannot wait to pick up my bowl and paper weight. They are going to be on display for everyone to see. I cannot wait for my next class in december to make Christmas ornaments. I wish I got a class to make glass pumpkins but those filled up really fast.

Google
I wish I could give more stars. I registered us for a class called "a little bit more" as a Valentine's Day experience, although I thought about scheduling a little late and we ended up taking the class in mid March. We had an amazing time. We will be back for more classes soon. Thanks Kevin and Yesenia. Y'all are awesome teachers.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try glass blowing and was delighted when my daughter found SiNaCa. Kevin was a wonderful teacher; he did a great job of explaining each step. The projects vary by season and prices and are offered on numerous days of the week. There's a variety of colors choose from for your selected project. My terrarium took about 30 minutes to complete and was ready for pickup after 4 days. There are completed projects available for purchase. A small parking lot adjunct to the shop is available as well as places of the street.

Yelp
I attended the end of season Ice Cream Social with my family. My adult daughter did the sand casting activity, and Kevin gave expert instruction for her tricky design. We also enjoyed the ice cream, the food truck, and the pretty hand-blown bowls that were for sale. This wasn't our first time to visit SiNaCa Studios, and it definitely won't be the last.

Yelp
Excellent service from the entire team and my family learned a lot about the process. Lovely selection of item's for everyone. The attention to detail and time spent with each person makes it work it Great value and will definitely go again

Yelp
Catchy name right? It's the formula for glass! This is a gallery presenting and selling glass art. I stopped in to look because I love looking at all forms of creativity. However, I'm not a glass aficionado and will leave the glass art buying to others. If you like glass, you may find something here. They do have some creative beautiful pieces and can put you in touch with artists for special designs and commissions.

Yelp
My 8 year old son and I participated in one of SiNaCa's Spark Workshops and loved it. Such a great experience and reasonably priced. My son actually said, "Thanks for forcing me to do this. I loved it!". Plus, we have two beautiful glass pumpkins for mom.

Yelp
Everyone I interacted with was absolutely wonderful. I appreciate the hospitality, patience, and kindness. I will gladly return. Thank you!

Yelp
If you plan to take a Staycation-I great idea is to make you a beautiful glass souvenir-it's a great time and they do a great job making sure you leave with a beautiful item that you actually want to tell people you made I would highly recommend-it is a true experience.

Yelp
Had THE BEST teambuilding/networking event at SiNaCa. Heidi and her crew of experts led 28 of us in creating beautiful gazing balls during our time at the studio. Everyone had the benefit of an expert to help guide color choice and direct them in the finer points of glass blowing - which everyone participated in (even the most hesitant). The extreme heat of the furnace room was a little daunting in September, but there were plenty of fans and air-conditioned spaces for our group to connect and get to know each other. Heidi's staff went out of their way to ensure there was plenty of seating for all of us AND ensured that we could collect our beautiful glassware prior to the end of our time together in Fort Worth. Above and beyond!!! The contributions of all made this a memorable event and I will continue to book them every time we're in Fort Worth. Fantastic and unique experience for all!

Yelp
What a great experience! We had so much fun and appreciated the staff and their teaching. Definitely recommend and take a class.

Yelp
Maddie and Megan (forgive me for spelling errors) made our Groupon glass blowing experience fun but safe in February. Picking up our projects (heart and paperweight) was organized and efficient. We loved the experience and would love to take another class. Unique and enjoyable for a date night or a girl's night out!

Yelp
We came here last night with our friends from Fort Worth. One of our friends actually takes glass blowing classes and he was eager to show off the studio. The artists were in the process of making a glass ice cream cone for their ice cream social. It was neat to be able to watch them create this magnificent work of art. The level of mastery and care that went into their work was breathtaking! Our friend took us into the back room and showed off his artwork as well. This is a cool spot!

Joy B.

Yelp
Super lovely staff with great personalities who are always willing to answer any questions you may have. They're dedicated to teaching in a safe environment and do everything they can to promote that. The studio itself is clean and the gallery is interesting. I think I enjoy the non-profit environment better than the university one for making art, as there's less pressure to "get things right" on the first try and all participants are 100% focused on the task at hand (whereas the business students in an intro sculpture class... oof).

Susan B.

Yelp
Wonderful time. Patient instructor and a beautiful orb for the outcome. More classes are scheduled to broaden my skills.

Karen Y.

Yelp
I attended a glass blowing glass yesterday. The instructors were patient and so helpful. This was a fun and unique experience that I highly recommend!

Yelp
This was one of the best dates my wife and I have ever been on. So much fun and the instructors were very helpful and happy to answer any questions. We can't wait to go and pick up the pieces we made! Recommended for everyone to go and do!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome experience! We took Experience Glass Blowing, and loved it! I was so impressed by the clear instruction & demo. I thought we'd be watching the instructors do our projects, but it was very hands on, & the instructors were fantastic, so friendly & professional. I'm super happy with our projects, & will definitely be back!

Yelp
I love-love-love meeting people who love what they do. It's rare. Unfortunately, not everyone has found a way to turn their personal passions into a career. It isn't easy, it probably isn't practical, and you probably won't make a million bucks doing it unless you're incredibly lucky. Anyway, it's exciting to find folks who have made it work somehow, and that's what I ran into at SiNaCa Studios. The awesome people who built and run this amazing organization on Magnolia would be so stoked if you stopped by to check out their space. It's a unique facility that offers classes, workshops, and demonstrations in glassblowing, kiln-formed glass, and flameworking. There are not many glassblowing studios in general, and certainly not many in Texas (you'll find more on the coasts). I'm so impressed by the quality and character of SiNaCa. I took glassblowing for a couple of years in college at UTA, and while I'm no expert in any sense (I don't possess any 3D art skills and I am afraid of lava), I do have some knowledge of what a well-run glassblowing facility should look like, and SiNaCa studios is just fantastic (and pretty damn big for being a local non-profit business). If you've ever had any interest in working with glass, you have to come see this place. You can watch demonstrations (which is fascinating), or you can sign up to work with glass yourself at very reasonable prices. Maybe you've never created any type of art before. Maybe you've never pictured yourself working with glowing, molten glass that's hotter than the fires of Mordor. It's never too late! SiNaCa works with everyone from total neophytes to established glass artists. You'll be taken care of, safe, and have the chance to do something that not many do. SiNaCa also brings in glass artists from around the nation to further expose our community to this wonderful art form. Check out their website or facebook page to see a calendar of events. Currently, they host Open Studio Nights after hours where you can watch some glass work happen and BYOB. Always something cool coming to you from this studio! And, of course, they have a gallery space where they display and sell some of their gorgeous creations, made by local glass artists!

Yelp
What an incredible "hidden gem" SiNaCa Studios is! My wife and I have passed by several times but have never stopped. Last night Yelp hosted an "Elite" event at the studio and were we pleased and astonished. Clifton and Kevin put on some wonderful class blowing demonstrations for all of us. They explained each and every step as they "crafted" beautiful hand-blown glass. We also took a tour of the showroom. Heidi was most helpful. She took the time to tell us about each piece, the artist and the process used in crafting the piece. We can't wait to return again soon and hopefully take some classes in the future. We are now huge fans of the studio.

Yelp
For true experience of craftsmanship and art Si Na Ca Studios is the place to be. You will be amazed at the skill, time and finesse that goes into these pieces of glass work. I highly recommend that you take the time to watch the artist make a piece from start to finish. This will give you a true appreciation for skill and craft. I had a privilege to watch Randall do a glass bowl and it was like watching a dramatic theater play that you would not want to take your eyes and ears off. It was exciting watching a piece of glass turn into a piece of Art. Please visit when you get a chance, they have the best service, instructors and glass ornaments. I have nothing but respect for this place. Big fan!!!

Yelp
Took the glass forming Kiln class and it was very enjoyable. The instructor was very helpful and made the class fun. I will be back to try the glass blowing class!

Rebekkah P.

Yelp
I have been interested in glass blowing for several years and I wanted to learn what all was involved and have private lessons. I'm sure glad I chose this studio! I stayed a week in Ft. Worth and went to the hot shop for 4 hours a day. My instructor, Tatara never cut my time short, was patient and knowledgeable. This was definitely worth my time and I felt like I walked away with an amazing experience. They hold private events and offer all sorts of different options so that people can learn. SiNaCa Studios has a friendly and amazing group of people running it and I highly recommend them!

Yelp
Fun place to try something new! Staff was very helpful, informative and patient. My wife and I came to try out glass blowing. We made a pumpkin and paper weight. Here is a big tip, wear something light it is hot because of the ovens. We chose colors that will actually go with our house and not in our closet. They are pros here so you will walk away with something nice.
google avatar

Vi T.

Yelp
Very unique experience :) took about 20 mins to make glass art. There's an experience person that does it with you the entire time so you know what to do all the way. Overall nice thing to try out and would do it again!

Paul S.

Yelp
My wife got me the glass blowing class for my birthday and we went last night. The instructors were very friendly and working with molten glass is great fun and educational too. I expect we will be going back for another class. Nice gallery so that you can buy some very nice pieces of blown glass. If you have any interest in this at all I would recommend it.
google avatar

Nathan F.

Yelp
I love this place. You can explore their art gallery and see hand-crafted glass art made by local artists. You can watch a novice like myself take lessons or take lessons yourself. Once a month they also have an open-house event where you can watch a professional glass artist make glass art before a live audience and ask questions while they work. Great fun.

Yelp
Cool demos in the garage. Store is small and cute. Inside of an old gas station off Magnolia. Hop in for a few minutes and check out the creativity!
google avatar

Lindsay Y.

Yelp
Patient, informative instructors who have a passion for creating this kind of art. We did the Intro to glass blowing and loved it. We plan on taking the next few courses to further our knowledge. They are friendly and answered all my questions. This is an awesome date night!!

Kasey K.

Yelp
This place is so neat! Went here for a glass cheese tray making class and we had a blast. Watching the glass blowing is also super cool. The staff is very friendly and I will definitely be returning for more classes and even just to watch!
google avatar

Ashleigh D.

Yelp
Sinaca is a non-profit organization that helps those who would like to get into glass blowing, learn and perfect the craft. I have such an appreciation for locally glass blown art now! It was so interesting to watch and learn about the process. I went here for a Yelp event, so I don't know how one just watches without a group, or organization, but they said they do birthday parties and during the summer they keep the garage doors open so you can probably just watch while they work. Don't forget to check out the gallery! Lots of techniques are showcased and you will be shocked that these things are handmade!

Yelp
We attended the glass blowing class last night and it was AMAZING. Seems a little intimidating at first but the staff makes it very simple & safe! Cliff is so friendly and makes you feel like a million bucks! Very unique experience - Highly recommend!

Yelp
Just took my first class at Sinaca Studios and I LOVED it!! The instructors were great, with a wealth of knowledge, great patience, and sense of humor. I have already signed up for another class - I am hooked!

Yelp
Came out to Yelp to review a recent restaurant and thought... OMGoodness, I don't think I've reviewed SiNaCa and I need to! Spent the afternoon here today, for the second year, attending the walk-up workshop to make a glass pumpkin. The staff are very personable, patient and informative about the steps you are taking to make your pumpkin. They are fun, friendly and the afternoon goes quickly watching others create as you wait your turn. Last year I also attended two other walk-up workshops, one for a Christmas ornament and the other for a egg shaped paperweight. All of them are a very interesting and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Great for a girls day/night out, date night, or just do something a little different.

Danelle T.

Yelp
This place teaches you how to make things with hot glass as well as selling beautiful pieces from professional glass artists. You can even watch the pros blowing glass. It's just cool! My friends and I took a kiln glass for my birthday this year and we all made cheese plates and knives. It was so much fun and now we're ready for the next wine and cheese party. Julia (the instructor) rocks!

Yelp
Sorry if I sound like a sales pitch in my review but my visit to Sinaca made me an instant fan of the place, and I want it to succeed for a very very long time. I took my in-laws and my husband to Sinaca this past weekend since I thought it was something my mother-in-law would really enjoy. As we walked in the door we were immediately greeted and invited to go inside a adjoining room to watch one of their guys working with glass. We were completely blown away by the friendliness of the staff and their skill in what they did. After they completed this awesome blown bowl, we stayed behind to chat with the guys working with the glass. They gave us a ton of information and didn't mind answering a ton of questions. We found out from them that the studio is a non-profit organization and that aside from selling pieces in their adjacent gallery, they offer rental time with the kilns and classes of varying skill levels to support the studio. Afterwards, we checked out the gallery and checked out some of their pieces for sale - This place is really a neat place to find some unique gifts as well. If you're in the area definitely go check this place out, support the local artists and this studio - it was definitely worth the visit. I cant wait to sign my husband up for one of their introductory glass classes!
google avatar

Ginny E.

Yelp
I loved this! Went with two friends for an intro to kiln, I think. We had a great time! The class took the whole three hours and I'm pleased with my results, but that was just icing on the cake. The real fun was creating something and seeing the others' creations since we had highly unique looks despite doing the same basic projects. Glass is so beautiful and I think I'll be insanely proud of mine after I pick them up in a week. I would definitely recommend this for a fun night out.

Lilly H.

Yelp
I went for a demonstration last night and it was AMAZING. We had a blast and it was so informative and exciting that I could have stayed for hours watching them make glass creations. Their shop is awesome too and I highly recommend stopping in. I am already trying to plan to come to one of their events when they make Christmas Ornaments next month!
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
The people at SiNaCa are very helpful, patient, and kind. I had my son's feet casted. It was such a fun experience that I know I will remember. The staff's attitude played a huge part in it being so memorable. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about what they were doing.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
Best place ever. I took the glass forming kiln workshop and made a picture frame and some sun chimes. It was a blast! They walk you through how to do everything with detailed instructions, and it's really easy. They items my boyfriend and I made are gorgeous and are going to make awesome gifts! I cannot wait to sign up for more classes here!

Jeanne C.

Yelp
Excellent classes, knowledgeable instructors and staff, friendly and comfortable environment, great value.

Yelp
Wonderful experience. The staff were courteous and helpful, the shop was clean, comfortable and pleasant and the experience itself was unique and a lot of fun! Great gift for the person who has everything!
