I've been coming to Sinatra’s since the days of their original location across the street—This place has long been one of the most well-known and consistently amazing Italian restaurants in Buffalo, and it continues to live up to its reputation! The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. I had a chocolate martini that was absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t stop raving about the meatballs and the artichoke francese. Both were cooked to perfection! My sister wasn't as wild about the stuffing in the banana peppers—just a personal preference, so it might be worth asking which cheese they use if you’re particular about that. On the flip side, I absolutely loved the new halibut special, which was beautifully topped with seafood. The portion was generous but didn’t feel heavy. It was really well balanced. The ambiance is elegant and upscale with a beautiful big bar and a well-mannered crowd. Parking is easy, too, with a decent-sized lot in the back. Sinatra’s continues to deliver outstanding Italian cuisine-definitely a Buffalo staple that I’ll keep coming back to!

I had a fantastic experience dining at the bar at Sinatra’s. The service was warm, friendly, and perfectly attentive—everything you want when eating solo or on a date. I started with the banana peppers and followed with the lasagna—both were absolutely delicious. I finished with the gelato, the perfect sweet ending to a great meal!

A special shout out to the hostess who offered us this table (did we feel ostricized and uncomfortable?) instead of asking if we wanted to wait for a table in the dining room. Not another patron was seated in this room. What a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday. Definitely one to remember. If we hadn't driven 40 minutes to enjoy his day here, we could and should have left. Sinatra's is this how you really treat non-regulars? Shame on you.

Outstanding Experience! Sinatras’s is truly first class. The decor is beautiful & clean with soft music. Our server Dan and the rest of the staff were outstanding. All food was perfectly prepared and presented in a timely fashion. Highly Recommended!!

Nice gem tucked away in North Buffalo. Remodeled restaurant looks awesome. Excellent service. Delicious food. You cant ask for anything else as a patron. Celebrated my anniversary here and my wife loved the choice so you're top of the list in my book.

Google
Outstanding Restaurant, the food was authentic Italian Food and quality was 5 stars. We always try to stop here whenever we are in Buffalo. They expanded the bar area from last time we were in town. Bartenders are the best! Owners are attentive and truly make a point to check on every guest. Sinatras is Buffalo must go restaurant. 😉

Wonderful upscale restaurant. Food was good. The service excellent. Wonderful place to go for a date night or special occasion.

Google
What a great first time experience here! My companions & I had reservations right at opening and were seated immediately upon arriving. Our server Barbara was very knowledgeable and Anna was both patient and kind as she assisted with service & between courses. As a party of 7, we were fortunate to try a variety of starters: beef carpacio, clams casino (the special appetizer of the evening), the meatball with ricotta, and arancini. The entrees were well-proportioned and the desserts I'm told were divine. From Seafood Alla Sinatra to Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiano to a sizeable veal chop, everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. I personally chose a variety of appetizers as my meal (as I'm choose to eat keto-friendly) and I HIGHLY recommend the Artichokes Francaise. They were crisp without being oily and the combo of lemon & capers were the perfect foil to the egg, cheese & artichoke.

Yelp
I have always had a good meal when I go to Sinatra's. My go-to dish is the Spaghetti alla Sinatra's but I am always open to hear about the daily specials. The staff is always friendly and accommodating since they have a lounge and dining area. During my latest visit I enjoyed a watermelon salad that had a slice of watermelon, lettuce, prosciutto, balsamic dressing and burrata cheese. Very flavorful and a nice start to the dining experience. For entree's I have never had an issue, whether it be the halibut, Sunday sauce with meatball, beef Bolognese special, etc. Everything is delicious. For dessert, don't forget to get either the gelato, cannolli, tiramisu or one of the daily specials. My only negative is that it can be louder than you would expect during dinner. I am never annoyed or turned off because it is friends dining together.

Yelp
Nice place to have a fancier meal with the husband. Tried a lot of their specials - clams casino, zucchini blossoms, halibut scampi. The halibut scampi and my husband's short rib were good, but some things were a bit overly fried or dense. The cassata cake was my absolute favorite!! Light and not too much.

Yelp
Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience at Sinatra's. Service was fine, but they didn't recognize our notes from the reservation. A lot of younger servers which isn't bad, but it wasn't necessarily good. Ambiance, in our case we were basically sitting family style with a little spacing. If you've been there you know where we were sitting. The food - we ordered the artichoke francese - which was one of the better things we had during the meal, 4 out of 5. The bread was good, not great 3.5 out of 5. We ordered a meatball with our meal, it was large, soft, and not very flavorful; 2.5 out of 5. The entrees were veal parmesan with a side of pasta 2 out of 5 - disappointing, and the short rib w tortellini (a cheese stuffed pasta if not tortellini), which was tasty but I could tell it had been sitting maybe 3 out of 5. For what we paid for the meal, we were disappointed as we had high hopes going there. I don't think we will ever go back, but they have plenty of other people going there and will be fine without our business.

Yelp
We had a delicious dinner. It's a little dark but they provide a light on your table which has some different setting which is a nice touch if you want to switch up the ambiance. Service from our waitress was great and food was delicious. Sauce and meatball were incredible !

Lyndsey Z.

Yelp
Good meal and service. The Gorgonzola sauce was excellent! Burrata was very fresh and delicious. Chicken Milanese was also amazing and a big portion and came with a side of homemade pasta and sauce! The homemade meatballs are amazing too! I will visit again as this was my first time. Sinatras sangria (not pictured) was also very good and refreshing!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice ambience, definitely dress up for the restaurant! I ordered the short ribs, which were flavorful and tender, with sides of sautéed mushrooms and broccolini- delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent service, food, ambiance. Great place for a romantic dinner. Spacious dining & bar area. Food was fantastic & worth the money. The chopped salad special was so good. My husband always gets chicken parm when we do Italian and he said this is the best he's ever had. Spaghetti alla Sinatra was packed with seafood- so yum! & delicious Cassata cake to go!

Yelp
I'm disappointed to find that nine months after my initial visit where I loved it see below... it's definitely really average. The food came out seven minutes after we ordered it. It was a very assembly-line process. Yes, it is December 23 and the place is busy, but it was nothing like it was the first time I came here. I don't think I'll be back. There's better Italian food in Buffalo.
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Excellent experience. I would have loved to have visited the original location. The new building is beautiful. Romantic though I was not on a date. Bartenders were great and there's a large screen to view sports in the bar though this place is far more elegant than a sports bar . I'll be back to sit at the bar and enjoy march madness. On to dinner. We were seated right away and enjoyed the calamari app. Incredible. I'll have it again. I had the halibut francese with a side of spaghetti; both were great. The halibut was fantastic. Francese sauce was perfect, not over done. Lovely lemon butter with perfectly cooked fish. Really good. I'll be back

Veronica S.

Yelp
A special shout out to the hostess who offered us a table in an empty room instead of the dining room. She never asked if we wanted to wait for a dining room table. We did have a reservation. We felt ostricized and uncomfortable; sort of like in 'time out' space! There were no other patrons in this room. What a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday. Definitely one to remember. If we hadn't driven 40 minutes to enjoy his day here, we could and should have left. Sinatra's is this how you really treat non-regulars? Shame on you.

Yelp
Been to Sinatras many times and all I could say is the food has been great every time I've been there and the owner/chef and staff are fantastic. The fish or chicken franchise is very good and the braciola & meatballs are on point. Many many things to choose from but these are some of my favorites. The ambiance at the bar is a great choice as well. It is nice to know that Buffalo has a good consistent Italian restaurant like Sinatras. Thank you. Food 9.5 Ambiance 9.5 Service 9.5

Yelp
This has been hard to figure out how to review. We were there on a slow night, maybe five tables at 5pm. The food itself was very good. Very small portions though. For it being one of the most expensive restaurants in the area we expected more. Service.... It should not take two or three requests for a glass of wine. The glass came ten minutes before the wine. Again, for a slow night we expected more. Many have responded about the food speed, we had no issue. The timing itself for the food was good, yet we were in and out in an hour. The look and feel is classy. Tables well separated. Menu choices small; as many restaurants are cutting back. Many people would have a hard time with finding something they may want, as we did. Again, food quality was excellent. We will probably though not be back.

Yelp
Moscato 10/10 Dezzani, NV, Veneto Italy This was a very good moscato, and perfectly sweet. My only complaint is that the menu price and the price we were charged on our bill for the glass did not match (we were charged $3 more than the menu price) Bread - complementary 8/10 Italian bread was good, butter was salted. The breadstick bread was very soft and chewy, it reminded me of dough that wasn't fully cooked and I was not a fan of the red sauce on it, or the red sauce that came on the side. Just had a funky flavor to me. Caesar Salad - Without anchovies 7/10 Not bad, but didn't really taste like Caesar salad to me. The lettuce was cut into long thin strips, it would be easier to eat if it was a square. The dressing was kinda just wet, and didn't taste like or even have the same consistency as a typical Caesar dressing. The Parmesan cheese came through pretty well. I liked the bread crumb instead of the traditional crouton. Sacchetti 10/10 I finally understand what saccheti pasta is, looks like little money pouches lol. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The filling had a really good mushroom flavor. The Gorgonzola cream sauce was amazing. Not so much Gorgonzola flavor, but definitely cheesy and very creamy. There was also plenty of sauce in the dish as well, which is fantastic! Loved all the mushroom pieces mixed in also. Lamb Chops 10/10 Ordered Medium rare. They were cooked very well. You could taste the seasoning (just regular salt and pepper I think) with each bite, and the meat was very tender. Probably one of the best lambs Kyle's ever had (and my first time trying lamb!) Brussel sprouts 6/10 They were not full cooked, little hard still in the center and just lightly broiled on the outer layer. Escarole 10/10 I don't have any other way to describe this than leafy, earthy, and green. Not my go to but they seem to have been cooked well. Kyle says it was good and seasoned well.

Yelp
Vegan options! I went here for a family dinner but couldn't find any vegan information online. Yelp has zero reviews with the word vegan for this place. I did something I hate doing which was calling the restaurant to ask about options. I meant to call earlier but instead called during the dinner rush which I had wanted to avoid. They said they were slammed and would call back - and THEY DID! They were so nice about it. So, the Pasta Michael is vegan, the marinara is vegan, and she told me the eggplant parm is vegan if you hold the cheese and get marinara. Leading up to this I was not looking forward to pasta and olive oil. It sounded boring and greasy. I'm not Italian and I rarely go to Italian restaira restaurants, so I didn't know what to expect. Well, I got the Pasta Michael and it was SO GOOD. I thought about having them hold the olives but decided to just give myself over to the experience. It was only two olives and I gave them away to someone else in our party. The sauce was much better than just plain olive oil and it didn't feel overly oily. I ended up dipping the bread in it to use it all up. Our servers were great. We had about 10 people in our group, one of whom kept asking for more bread, and they did bring us endless amounts of bread. They serve it with butter; I didn't ask for oil but there was a vegan looking tomato condiment they served with it. Everyone had a fantastic meal and enjoyed their cocktails. Alas, no vegan desserts, but the people who got desserts loved them.

Yelp
went here for a special occasion and I must say that the service was outstanding. The food however was not as good. This place is supposedly a great Italian location but for my taste, it fell far below the expectations. Red sauce was bland and flavorless and I feel that Olive Garden is more Italian than Sinatras. I will never return to this restaurant and for the price of their food, you can find small, local Italian restaurants that have better tasting food but probably not the level of service.

Lauri B.

Yelp
The food was good, service could have been better. I have food allergies and I asked the waitress if the noodles were egg noodles. She implied that all noodles have eggs. I explained they don't but she was so adamant that I gave up and ordered a salad with no cheese and vinegar and oil dressing! It shouldn't be so hard to get an answer to this. She could have asked the chef if their noodles have eggs and I could have had a more full meal.

Yelp
I had my first visit to this chef owned restaurant on a Wednesday night. It will not be our last. My husband, friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. My husband ordered the clams casino and raved about it. The rest of us order the arancini to share. It was so good and went so fast. The bread basket had the pizza bread as well as good Italian bread - so good my friends asked for another basket. I had the Caesar salad, which my husband helped me finish. My friends order the special wedge salad with blue cheese dressing that was huge, they were glad they ordered it to split. My friend cut off a section for me to try. It was the most unique, delicious dressing I've ever tasted with large chunks of blue cheese. One ordered the Ravioli with Meatballs, another ordered the Lasagna and two of us ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana. We'd recommend all the choices. The desserts were wonderful. And good size portions! I had the cannoli, my husband had the cheese cake and our friends shared the cassetta cake. Each was served with berries and the best whipped cream. The service staff, from the valet to the hostess, to the server, to the bus boys were all pleasant and well trained; and personable. The décor is stunning. And the restaurant is immaculate. From the entrance way, to the bar, to bathroom, to the dining areas I was struck with the perfection of order and cleanliness. Which some might find odd, but as a hobby, I was a national restaurant "mystery shopper" and that training gives you a critical eye. It's never left me. We fine dine frequently and I can say without hesitation this is 5+ star restaurant.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant, over many a New York , Los Angeles, Toronto, Miami, etc restaurant Great food, excellent staff, bast ambiance.

Yelp
Recent visit this place for a family dinner. Quality has degraded. I ordered a osso bucco. It as no good. My wife didn't even eat her pasta. Server took forever to bring the bill and cash us out. Ambiance was great. The seat was comfortable and noise level was ok.

Yelp
We had a wonderful holiday evening at Sinatra's! Our server Erin was attentive and knowledgeable and very enjoyable! The food was great, the fried zucchini blossom appetizer was wonderful (think fancy mozzarella stick), the halibut special was one of the largest pieces of halibut I have ever seen at a restaurant, and the gelato was a wonderful treat (butterfinger and chocolate cookies and cream). A great night and put us in holiday spirit!
google avatar

Kristin C.

Yelp
First time at the new location. Food was good, service was good, nothing wow, but good and would go back! Love their red sauce- delicious! I would skip the clams casino. Would recommend the caesar, chicken francese and chicken parm!
google avatar

Dani M.

Yelp
This is my 4th time at the restaurant. The last time we were there was for Mother's Day. The service and food is always amazing.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
Eggplant parmesan was a small portion but good. You can't see the mozzarella, as a little bit is under the sauce. I had the escarole to accompany it, which was a bad choice. It was cooked, so was slimy and chewy and hard to cut up to be able to eat it. I should have gotten the pasta with the eggplant instead. My husband loved his seafood a'la Sinatra, and his martini. Highlights are the Caesar salad, and bread basket they give you before your meal. Cassata cake was wonderful, but small for the $10.00 price. Not even big enough to share. The restaurant is beautiful though, so may return to try other dishes, without the escarole!

Steven H.

Yelp
Wonderful tasting food with excellent service. The restaurant's environment was loud.

Yelp
Went for my family birthday celebration. The food was fabulous! I had the chicken Milanese and it was massive. Service was impeccable, our waitress went above and beyond. The table was great and overall experience was wonderful.

Yelp
Moved to Florida over 20 years ago but when we come back to visit, it is always on our list of places to go. Always meet friends and family , miss getting great veal dishes, stuffed peppers, artichokes and more. Love to sit at bar and visit with Lenny and son many moons ago and now go in to see Alf and Dickie always take great care of us and suggest any of the great specials. Was just there over labor day and will be back next July or August.

Kate S.

Yelp
Hands down continues to be my favorite spot in Buffalo. Atmosphere is very cozy and the red sauce is the best in town!
google avatar

Marie D.

Yelp
Doesn't look like much when you drive by, but the food was actually pretty good even if the place was quite loud. We started with a watermelon/mozzarella small plate which I would not especially recommend (quite pricey for what it was). However, the mushroom pasta were delicious. Overall not the best Italian food I've ever had but pretty decent still. I recommend trying their red wines.

Fran R.

Yelp
Quality of food and service is always top notch. Lasagne, Bracoile, appetizers were all delicious.

Alec V.

Yelp
The night did not start out on a good note with not being sat for our 7 pm reservation for 8 people until 7:30 pm. Once seated, the service was continuing to lack with our waiter forgetting to put in one of our appetizer orders and our water was not refilled once during the meal. The food everyone ordered was generally good but overpriced ($30 for chicken parm is too steep in my mind). The "fine dining" at Sinatra's leaves a lot to be desired.
google avatar

Sandra M.

Yelp
This was our second visit to this restaurant. We had such a great time the first visit starting with the great service from the bartenders to our service and meal. The reason for a three star this time was a very disappointing meal. There was six of us celebrating birthdays but were surprised to see such small portions. The food was flavourful but starting with the very small clam casino to the size of my haddock franchise and the pasta dishes couldn't have had more than 15 rigatoni. Just wasn't the same as our last visit. Disappointed!!
google avatar

Carlo P.

Yelp
We started off with the aranchini not pictured was gone to fast haha. Then we had the veal parmigiana and the chicken picante! Both were perfectly cooked and nothing left on our plates. Been comming here for I'd say 20 years now and is one of our favorite Italian spots. Idk how to justify the 3.5 stars this restaurant has on yelp because it's one of the best. I'd have to assume the bad reviews are Olive Garden lovers....
google avatar

Tona N.

Yelp
They make honors for their Lemon Drop and their Lasagna; not too mention the excellent bar service...
google avatar

Greg R.

Yelp
We went to the bar and sat for a drink and dinner! The bartenders couldn't have been nicer!! My wife started with a martini and I, a glass of wine! We started with the Brussel Sprout special and Greens and Sausage appetizers. The sprouts were incredible! The greens and sausage seemed to lack any kind of cohesiveness and not much flavor! The wife ordered the Halibut special, over the Bean and Escoral stew. She loved it! I ordered the lasagna and it did not disappoint!!! We split a Raspberry cream gelato and it was very good! Great meal!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
If you are looking for a 5 stars dining experience I recommend Sinatra's. We were celebrating my birthday and it was our first time at Sinatra's. We had two different seafood meals and they were both excellent! They had a great wine list an the clams casino were great.

Gary B.

Yelp
Excellent service and the food was delicious especially the Lasagna, nice bar area and a well stocked wine cellar

Yelp
They really treat you well here. My husband brought me because we had a gift card on a calm November night. Upon arriving, they were able to accommodate us immediately even without a reservation. Our waiter was over promptly and was friendly and attentive throughout the entire visit. Everyone was, really. We ordered drinks, a sangria for me and an unsweetened iced tea for my husband. My sangria was refreshing and delicious. We ordered the calamari after ascertaining it was gluten free. This came out quickly and was made without being breaded. It was still yummy, though there was a little too much cheese on it. Ha! Just kidding, there's no such thing as too much cheese. Now, I'm pretty allergic to gluten, so our waiter spent a lot of extra time with me figuring out what I could and could not have. I eventually ordered their gluten free spaghetti as a scampi with shrimp and lobster. It was very hot when it arrived, so I looked on as my husband dug into his lobster ravioli, which he loved. Finally, it was time for my entree. It was al dente which surprised me, though not in a bad way. I eventually asked the waiter about it and he explained that it had been cooked to order and he could cook it even further if I desired. I opted to not do that, as I had tasted it and loved it just the way it was. The lemon butter sauce was delightful and so was the lobster. The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. I loved the whole thing! My husband was full at this point, but I ended up ordering a beautiful creme brulee that tasted as good as it looked. If you're looking for a fine dining restaurant, look no further than Sinatra's! The food is beyond reproach and the ambiance and wait staff are all pleasing. Sure, it's expensive, but if you're ready to splurge, do it! Otherwise, rope somebody into getting you a gift card. It was nice not having to pay the full bill, I must say.

Yelp
Update- Finally returned to Sinatra's after finding out, they reopened since the corona pandemic. Right away you notice in the dining area, that some tables were removed for social distancing purposes. I strongly advise you to call and make reservations early. Sinatra's has always been a popular place, even before the pandemic tables would be booked weeks in advance. Whenever Tai and I would come to Sinatra's, we would always get the same entree's. Tai would get their lasagna, and I would get their lamb chops. I suggest trying out both, of these entree's when visiting. But tonight, we decided to try something different. Tai ordered the Braciole, which is a stuffed (egg in center) pork cutlet. This dish could easily be shared by two people. It visually looked me like a dish called, pigs in a blanket. The red sauce was on the sweet side (not overly sweet), which is perfect for me. I ordered the Osso Bucco (veal shank), that came with risotto. The shank was huge, and again the red sauce was good. Like all their entree's, you get a choice of a side (veggie) or pasta with sauce. Both entree's was quite tasty, my only complaint was the risotto. It was bland and reminded me of a thicker grain rice with cheese sprinkled on top.. But by no means did this let the air out of my sails. We enjoyed our night and will be returning again.

DD B.

Yelp
We were very disappointed. I had to ask the bus boy for a clean replacement plate for my appetizer, he was very polite and apologetic. When apps came the curve was back, the Artichokes we're cool and rubbery. Carpaccio very good. My bolognese was not hot, way too many noodles and had to hunt for sauce and meat. My other 2 guests had lasagna, and Eggplant parmigiana. When I asked on a scale of 1-10 how was their entree... they hesitated and then confessed, 4-5 Without flavor and again not served hot. We were never offered any specials by our server. Only knew there were, as the table next to is was greeted cheerfully and offered the specials. Sorry to Report a negative review across the board, but someone needs to pay attention to details and service.

Yelp
Phenomenal Italian food with an extremely attentive staff and impeccable interior finishes!!

Yelp
Sinatra's was a true delight. We were in town for the weekend and were recommended it by word of mouth. Rene was our server and he was one of the more friendly and pleasant servers I've had in quite some time. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service!

Yelp
I'm shocked this place doesn't have higher reviews. I consistently have great meals here and the staff is also kind and responsive. I got the lasagna and I had a bite of my friend's meatball both of which were good sized portions, perfectly cooked served with a nice red sauce. I think this is a great neighbor restaurant people should go more often. Also, I'm not a wine drinker but I've heard they have an exceptional wine list.

Yelp
Went to this place on my annual Christmas dinner with my best friend. Was not disappointed First off. Service was exponential. All around. Second food was great. Had the Italian wedding soup. The soup was good, only thing was the noodles were over cooked like they were left in the soup or something. The salad was good, homemade dressing was very good. For the main course I had Veal Bolognese. Very good. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the acoustics of the restaurant. It was VERY loud. Over all this was a very great place

Yelp
My family has been going to Sinatra's for several years. We have had nothing but absolutely wonderful experiences! The restaurant has a perfect upscale Italian dinner atmosphere. The servers are all extremely polite, professional and friendly. Most of all, the food is spectacular. Five stars, no question! I have tried a ton of menu options over the years. Everything is truly spectacular. The chefs were born gifted. My favorite dishes are: Appetizers 1. The Seafood Cocktail - fresh chilled shrimp and crab legs (cracked neatly) with cocktail sauce 2. Beef Carpaccio with arugula, balsamic & fresh parmesan 3. Caprese Salad (obviously) Entrees (come with a house salad and side, I always go with the side of penne pasta & red sauce) 1. Chicken Piccata - My favorite. The white wine, lemon & butter sauce is incredible. 2. Halibut Francese - The halibut is always fresh and the egg batter in the wine & butter sauce is so good! 3. Sinatra's Famous Braciole Dessert: 1. Sinatra's Cassata Cake - The homemade whipped cream on the side is to die for! 2. Tiramisu 3. Creme Brulee Their wine list is also excellent. The food is certainly pricey, but completely worth it! Sinatra's is an exceptional place to go for a celebratory meal. The servers will go out of their way to help you celebrate and show your group a wonderful time!

Yelp
We come here once or twice a year for family night. We had 6p reservations for a party of 10 and had the pleasure of being served by Emily. She was great, she explained all the specials of the night to us in detail and made our evening complete. We started off with a seafood platter which consisted of a lobster tail, crab and grilled shrimp with the option of being served hot or cold. We ordered several different entrees they were all amazing the lasagna was my favorite. All entrees came with a house salad with optional crumble blue cheese. For dessert we tried the chocolate "lasagna" and the Sinatra's cheesecake. Both were good as well. No complaints just compliments! Will be back

Yelp
My first time trying Sinatra's and over all it was pretty good. We did take out but I feel if I dined it the food would have been that much better. I got a "yummm" from everyone who tried it! We will be back to dine in!
