"Come to Sinbala for a taste of Taiwanese night market food. The sausages are a highlight, and the ones topped with fried basil and served with garlic slivers are particularly good. Round out lunch with oyster pancakes and popcorn chicken." - Cathy Chaplin

"Come into Arcadia’s beloved SinBala for a taste of Taiwanese street food. The sweetish sausages come topped with slivers of raw garlic, Sichuan peppercorns, and even mangoes. Also great here is the basil-flecked popcorn chicken." - Cathy Chaplin

We’ve been coming to Sinbala ever since they opened nearly 30 years ago. The quality of food have not changed a bit. It’s great to see they continue to thrive and service the Arcadia area. Must stop Taiwanese quick food, if you are in the area. My favorite is the Taiwanese sausage. There is no where else that makes the sausages as good as Sinbala. Beef noodle soup, Pork stew rice noodle, eel rice and the Brown Sugar Shaved Ice are amount our top picks. Drinks wise, you can’t go wrong with Coffee Jelly milk green tea and boba with brown sugar milk (good for kids, no caffeine). About 2 to 3 weeks before Chinese New Year, Sinbala makes Red bean Rice Cake that is just amazing. My latest favorite - Eel Rice Plate

This place is comfort food to the max. It is so homey and delicious, offering traditional Taiwanese dishes. The sausage was super tasty and one of their signatures. Pretty affordable too with good value and good portions. The staff are very nice and speak both English and Mandarin. The interior is a bit run down but does not take away from the quality of the food.

With its understated atmosphere and compact tables, this gem invites diners on a culinary journey through Taiwan, delivering an authentic experience from start to finish. When we walked into La Sin Bala, the cozy environment immediately caught our eye. With limited seating and neatly arranged tables, our anticipation was at its peak as we perused the menu, eager to sample a selection of Taiwanese delicacies. Our culinary exploration begins with the typical rice, elegantly presented in the style of a traditional Taiwanese bento. Every bite of tender and juicy pork paired with fragrant rice made us feel like we were in a buffet restaurant in Taipei. Next we had the oyster omelette, a dish that really stole the show. Egg rolls are full of Taiwan's unique flavor, a famous night market snack, harmoniously blending plump oysters with delicious eggs and indispensable vegetables, a perfect match with aromatic spices. Super authentic! A must order meal that left us wanting more with every bite. We also indulged in chicken rolls accompanied by dipping sauce and a serving of shiitake mushroom and chicken soup, both delivering simple yet gratifying flavors. These simple yet satisfying dishes are the perfect end to our culinary journey, leaving us feeling nourished and satisfied. Of note, the highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the oyster omelette, a dish that encapsulates the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. Its authentic flavors and affordable prices highlight La Sin Bala, making it one of the must-go places for food lovers looking for a taste of Taiwan.

Google
Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - came for an early lunch so there were plenty of tables available. It was a delicious Taiwanese meal 23) Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was delicious with a very salty broth. It was great while eating the noodles but could not finish the soup afterwards. 30) Popcorn Chicken was juicy and well fried. Nicely seasoned with flavors all the way to the center of the chicken. 37) Sticky Rice was as expected. Well seasoned and flavored but a bit oily. Ambience: 5/5 - clean and more spacious than expected. Service: 5/5 - friendly and quick. You do need to waive them down for anything needed as they don't check back on the tables Value for price: 5/5 - good food, quick service, reasonable price

Google
The Sinbala sausage rice had a bunch of good stuff: rice, minced pork, Taiwanese sausage, cabbage, corn, and eggs. But it arrived a bit cold, and it’s probably because of the AC here. The spicy beef noodle soup was just okay. The broth's spices were a bit too much for me, and the beef was tough. I might swing by again for the Taiwanese sausage, but I'll probably skip the beef noodle soup. There's plenty of seating and parking available.

Google
Authentic Taiwanese restaurant! Been coming here for years! The price has definitely increased. Their food is still delicious though! The staffs are all so nice and helpful. I always get the sausage rice plate. Their portions are pretty generous. Their beef noodle soup is a bit spicy but flavor is great. Highly recommend this spot! Parking may be a bit difficult during lunch and dinner hours. They fill up quick so I’d recommend coming a bit earlier than the lunch/dinner hours.

The most delicious Taiwanese Sausage Place in US for years. Please must try their sausage!!! I ordered frozen ones to take back to home state. So good!!

Google
great Taiwanese comfort food Our favorite: - Taiwanese Sausage (a la carte or meal) - Pop Corn Chicken - Pork Chop rice - Shaved ice - Steamed dumpling (15 minutes wait) not as good as DTF but it is good Most of their food is great. $20 minimum for credit card purchase

Yelp
My wife and I stopped by La Sinbala to pick up a bento to-go before our flight out of Burbank and we had a 5 out of 5 experience. Believe it or not, but after placing our order, our food was ready in around five minutes! So fast! Even though we started eating our bentos 30 minutes later, the fried pork chop was still crispy. Flavor was spot on as well. The other bento we purchased -- with Taiwanese sausage, was perfect in every way: the sausage was juicy, sweet, chewy, and not greasy at all. The sides that came with the bento were other Taiwanese classics, like cabbage, corn, and tomato egg. $14 for a packed bento in 2025 is an absolute steal. I cannot recommend La Sinbala enough if you're looking for a delicious meal on the go, especially if you're craving Taiwanese food.

Yelp
This restaurant brings back so many happy memories from decades ago. I remember coming here often during my college years with friends and we'll hang out til late at night. The food taste and quality remains the same, if not better, after all these years! I ordered my favorite dishes. The fried pork chop rice, fried chicken leg rice and the famous Sinbala taiwanese sausage. All the food is delicious including the side dishes (there are 3 side dishes included). The fried pork chop and fried chicken leg are all still crispy even though we brought these dishes home. Granted, they would taste better if we enjoy them at the restaurant. When I went here, the Eaton Fire is still going on and this restaurant is situated few miles south of the fire, but once it opened for dinner time at 4.30pm, a steady flow of customers kept coming in filling up one of the 2 dining rooms. This shows that this restaurant is very well-liked and the food is good. The staffs were courteous and offered me the to-go menu to look at while I was taking pictures of the menu one by one. I like how attentive they are to the customers. Next time I would definitely come and dine here again.

Yelp
Delicious, cozy, and tasty food. Workers are friendly. Ordered: A choy- good flavor, mixed with minced pork.. or beef? i forgot, but the meat juice enhanced the flavor Peanut noodles- good sauce, first bite was heaven Beef noodle soup- on the spicier end, perfectly chewy noodle consistency Xiaolongbao and the other dumpling- tastes fresh and handmade fried pork chop rice- tastes like homecooked food, warm and comforting shaved mango ice- would not personally recommend as it was just ice and frozen mangos and I was expecting too much

Yelp
Small mom & pop shop. It gets busy but luckily, we were able to snag the last table around 6:20pm on a Saturday before the rush. The food was amazing and there were so many options too. Beef noodle soup - soup was rich and had a kick but not overly spicy. Noodles were perfectly al dente. Definitely hit the spot for me. Leek and pork dumpling - it was juicy, flavorful and the skin had the perfect bite. All what I look for in a dumpling. 10/10 Taiwanese sausage plate - solid plate. Loved the garlicky cabbage - reminds me of homemade food. Would order this again. Oyster pancake - only had this one other time at a street market in Taiwan. This was for sure a little different because of the tomato sauce but not bad.

Yelp
Good service and good Taiwanese food. Authentic tasty Taiwanese sausage, Taiwanese meatball 肉丸, beef noodle soup, shrimp or oyster omelette, and a variety of rice and noodle dishes. Save room for the popular shave ice too! Right now for Lunar New Year, there are special items like rice cake 年糕 and prosperity cake 發糕. They tend to sell out so call ahead to make sure they have the seasonal offerings. Clean minimalist long time restaurant with plenty of free parking in spacious lot.

Yelp
Very iconic spot for Taiwanese food in Arcadia! My family and I always try to make our way here when we're in Southern California. It's a pretty casual spot with friendly and speedy service. This trip, we got: - Sinbala sausage: tried both the spicy and regular. I love the sausage here, also bought a pack of their frozen sausages to bring home. - Dry minced meat noodle: great dish, wish they maybe added some veggies in it though. Sufficient portion of meat and everything was cooked well - Brown sugar shaved ice: their shaved ice is SO good and comes in a huge portion! We split it between 3 people and were more than satisfied. You can choose 5 toppings to come with it- we got grass jelly, boba, almond tofu, aloe, and rice balls Can't wait for my next Sinbala visit! Looking forward to breaking out the frozen sausages in the meantime.

Yelp
We came on Sunday night. We were seated immediately. We ordered the sausage rice dish and the spicy beef noodle soup. Both tasted really good to my surprise. The soup tho had a little too much of a tomato taste, but that nice tender beef made up for it.

Malynn T.

Yelp
Sinbala has always been a comforting and nostalgic place for me. Been coming here since high school and the food is usually always consistent. If I don't know what to get, #1 Sinbala sausage rice always hits the spot. However, this time around I noticed some differences. The dish doesn't have pickled vegetables and the tomato egg is a bit different but overall still good. I haven't been in a while so I'm not sure when this change happened. And of course with times and rising costs, this dish is now ~$14 instead of the under $10 I used to pay. Still sort of reasonable considering the prices elsewhere. Milk teas are solid and get the shaved iced in the summer to share. Also, the minimum charge to use credit card is now $30. If you're eating alone, bring cash!

Melanie C.

Yelp
Sinbala has been a Taiwanese staple in LA for decades. My family always stops by to buy the homemade Sinbala Taiwanese sausages whenever we're in LA, and while I grew up eating the pork chop rice plate, the noodle soups and other dishes always hit the spot. If you're looking for a no-frills, casual, consistent Taiwanese restaurant serving casual Taiwanese eats, this is the place to go. The restaurant has gone through a few changes in management but the staff are always friendly and efficient.

Yelp
I have liked Sinbala for many years. They used to have one in Rowland Heights, which is closer to me. This one is in Arcadia and we often went there when we lived in Temple City. My mom and I went there on Saturday night at around 7 p.m. and were seated immediately. The place was still crowded and it was small but cozy inside. We ordered the fried pork chop with noodle soup, pumpkin rice noodles, and Tainan rice cake in a bowl. They first served us the noodle soup then fried pork chop came afterwards. The noodle soup was healthy but tasted a little bland; the fried pork chop was very flavorful and a little crispy outside and the meat was soft and tender. The pumpkin rice noodles tasted not bad but my mom didn't like them very much. My favorite dish was the appetizer Tainan rice cake in a bowl. It was so authentic and yummy with the sauce. I like the texture of this kind of rice cake as well. Service was fast and servers were friendly.

Stephen P.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Green onion pancake, not great. Oyster pancake, ok Chicken soup, ok Noodle with pumpkin, good. Greens, ok

Jessica G.

Yelp
Solid place with delicious food! Their popcorn chicken and royal milk slush is delicious! Taiwanese sausage is also great, make sure to get it with extra slice raw garlic. Beef noodle soup is also really good, esp with extra pickled vegetables!

Fanny S.

Yelp
I've been coming to this Taiwanese snack spot for years, it's a long-standing favorite of mine! The food is super authentic. Lately, business seems slower, probably due to all the new places popping up. We tried the beef noodles, fried chicken rice, and an oyster waffle; everything was delicious as always!

Mari K.

Yelp
I have been coming here for awhile now and the restaurant never seems to disappoint. I've had a majority of the items on their menu and my favourite items to get are the seafood pancake, Zhajiang noodles, and Dan Dan noodles. The shaved ice is really good and refreshing in the summer as the toppings are also fresh. I'd come here for a quick lunch takeout option or to dine in. The service is quick and ambiance is what's expected at a Taiwanese restaurant. Everyone is very attentive and swift in taking orders.

Debbie W.

Yelp
Was craving some Taiwanese food so I came back to Sinbala after ordering only dessert last time, but this time for the food. I ordered fried fish cake, A vegetables, spicy wontons, pork chop rice, and squid vermicelli. It's been awhile since I've had Sinbala's food and Sinbala has had a few owner changes so I wasn't surprised when the taste just wasn't the same. It felt like most of the orders were less savory/flavorful. Something was definitely missing. The A choy was lightly salty sweet which was actually quite nice. The fish cake felt plain. I wish it had some white pepper and a bit more salt. The spicy wonton was actually still quite good! I love how they add peanut crumbles, it really makes a difference! The pork chop definitely not as savory or flavorful as before and the rice did not have enough sauce.

Jessica Y.

Yelp
I've heard great things about this place for Taiwanese comfort food. Seems like the portions and prices used to be better in the past, but I think it's not fair to hold the restaurant to those same standards since it's so pricy to go out to eat anywhere now. This is the perfect spot for a quick meal. The prices and portions aren't amazing, but very reasonable. Here's what we ordered: - Popcorn chicken: The chicken was SO juicy and each piece had a perfectly thin, crispy coating. It was very flavorful and there was a lot more chicken hiding in this bowl than I originally though. - Sinbala sausage rice: The sausage is super tasty and I wish there was more! It's sort of like a bbq pork sausage but doesn't taste as smoky as some sausages I've had in the past. I also love that the dish came with some veggies, making it a nice, balanced dish. - Oyster pancake: I personally didn't care for this dish. There were lots of oysters, but it was very... slimey? Didn't taste bad but definitely wouldn't get it again. Food came out fast and service is what you'd expect for a quick, casual spot. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking.

Vivian Q.

Yelp
Great place for a Taiwanese set meal lunch - I ordered the fried pork chop rice and the pork chop was surprisingly crispy, and I enjoyed the sides as well, especially the cabbage with garlic. Note that the credit card minimum is $30

Lucky P.

Yelp
Came back to my comfort food from Taiwan. This is where the love affair started with TW Great food and service

Rosanna L.

Yelp
When I crave Taiwanese food, I think Sinbala. So far they haven't disappoint. We ordered the pork stew noodle soup, beef noodle soup and the sausage plate. Pork stew was very flavorful. The beef noodle soup was flavorful as well and the wide noodles were chewy in a good way. The Taiwanese sausages were yummy. Other places don't make it as good. We also ordered the mango shaved ice for dessert. It was lightly sweetened and the ice was fluffy but for some reason the mango was sour and slightly frozen. Service was good. They are located in a big plaza so plenty of parking.

Yelp
Came back a few weeks ago with a friend, during the previous heat wave when it was 100F in Sierra Madre It was mid afternoon and almost empty. We ordered the shaved ice with several toppings and dug in. Still delicious. Real old skool Taiwanese style not the fancy Korean or modern Taiwanese. Finely shaved ice, generous toppings, perfect sweetness, ice cold and chilling. Just as the Dr ordered. We took our time eating it and by the time we were leaving it started filling up again. Had already had lunch so didn't think of ordering to go. I've loved the food here as well in the past. Next time! But it's still so hot. I'll be baaaack soon!

Alice K.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious! The sausage rice platter is their signature dish and totally worth it. The food came out really fast and the vibe was like a small family owned restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back. Service was great

Yelp

Elena J.

Yelp
Great spot for a quick and delicious meal. We tried a variety of dishes and the beef noodle soup did not disappoint. We also tried the dumplings, sausage, and scallion pancakes and they were all delicious! Service was quick and easy. There's no bells and whistles to the restaurant because it feels like you're in someone's kitchen eating great food hot off the press. A must try spot!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Food was great. Servers were nice. We got there early, but by the time we left there was a line.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Have been to this place for authentic Taiwanese food over 20 years since high school. The pork chop rice and beef noodle soup is my favorite.

Ashley Z.

Yelp
Taiwanese sausage! Must get here is their Taiwanese sausage! I liked it so much that I even bought some frozen ones to bring home! We came on a Sunday late lunchtime and waited for about 15 minutes for a table for two. We got fried pork chop rice, pork belly rice, and sinbala sausage. The rice plates come with rice, cabbage, tomato and egg, and corn. The pork chop was juicy and the batter was light. The pork belly was also tender. Tip: credit cards are only accepted for over $30! Parking: large plaza with tons of parking!

Julia S.

Yelp
If you're looking for some taiwanese food this place always hits the spot! It is a little pricier than I'd like but the food is always yums! The only thing that was a little strange is that they didn't have minced pork belly rice (ruroufan) which is SUCH a taiwanese staple! Other then that, service is good, theres lots of seating! If you don't know what to get I'd recommend their popcorn chicken rice plate or their beef noodle soup!

James B.

Yelp
La Sinbala is a long time Arcadia staple but I can't believe it took me this long to try it. I'd come back since the food is so good and cheap. Taiwanese sausage rice was pretty good. The sausage had a surprising sweetness to it, but it didn't take away from the savory aspect of it so i enjoyed it. Popcorn chicken - Loved the spice and the crispiness Minced meat - it's simple and delicious.

Serena H.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to Taiwanese food and came all the way to this Taiwanese restaurant, but we left feeling disappointed. As a Taiwanese person, I'm quite let down. The portion of the sausage rice was smaller than I had imagined, and everything on the plate, except for the sausage, was cold. One of the side dishes was even the three-colored beans that Taiwanese kids dislike! We also ordered the spicy beef noodle soup. When I asked the server if they could adjust the spiciness, they said it couldn't be adjusted, and they mentioned that their version isn't very spicy. However, when it was served, I found it extremely spicy to the point that my nose was running. The soup was overly salty and lacked depth in flavor, and it didn't have that aromatic taste. The noodles were quite hard, and after eating, I had a burning sensation in my stomach, which was uncomfortable.

Tony Y.

Yelp
The Sinbala sausage rice had a bunch of good stuff: rice, minced pork, Taiwanese sausage, cabbage, corn, and eggs. But it arrived a bit cold, and it's probably because of the AC here. I might swing by again for the Taiwanese sausage, but I'll probably skip the beef noodle soup. There's plenty of seating and parking available.

Yelp
I ordered the fried chicken leg rice. It is chicken leg pieces that are fried and seasoned Taiwanese style. It comes with a plethora of side dishes: tomato egg, ground beef, corn and peas, cabbage and rice. The seasoning they use is very delicious. They also provide ice water. Service was prompt and the food satisfied my craving. In addition, they are known for their sausage which is too sweet for me. I would recommend getting their shaved ice.

Alvina W.

Yelp
really good, must try the sinbala sausage!! taste exactly like taiwan i even ordered the frozen ones to take back to the bay area !

Emily L.

Yelp
So yummy! I think I came here maybe 5-10 years ago and forgot how good it was. We got the spicy beef noodle soup, pork chop over rice, and Taiwanese sausage. Everything was cooked well, flavorful, and reminded me of home. The spicy beef noodle soup was my absolutely favorite of the three. The broth had so much depth and I'm still thinking about it a day later. Adding this to my favorites!!

Wichanee B.

Yelp
I picked up the food yesterday, and the lady charged me $50 flat for 2 oyster pancake and 2 popcorn chicken. I asked how much was the oyster pancake, she said $14. According to the menu price 24 days ago, it was $11.79 only. So, I calculated the total with tax, it only came out to be $45.78. I left, so I didnt go back to argue about the price. But I felt like I was scammed, and I would never go back there again. My sister went and got charged the same way. Something is really shady going on there. If the owner doesnt know about this, he/she should investigate. If it was the owner who did it, well shame on you.

Truman W.

Yelp
2 stars ("Could be a lot better"). The problem with Sinbala is that years ago it was good value for the kind of food served here -- Taiwanese street comfort food, nothing fancy including the price. Now that pork chop rice has gone up to $15 (not nearly as good as "Why Thirsty" in San Gabriel) and the quality still remains sub-par, I cannot honestly recommend Sinbala. Their other dishes, also of middling quality, are really homecooking food that you can easily make at home, for a lot less money. I guess the owner of Sinbala just got too complacent and stopped taste-testing their own food a long time ago (as all good chefs must do). My current favorite Taiwanese restaurants in the 626 are "Why Thirsty" for the pork chop rice, and "Golden Leaf" for everything else.

felix b.

Yelp
The food here is amazing we love it!!! We got dumplings, popcorn chicken, and the Simbala sausage which was SUPER yummy. The employees are very nice and made sure to get us seated quickly. The atmosphere here is of a warm nice restaurant which is very welcoming. Over all I would give this more than 5 stars but since there is all that is I'll give them 5 stars. 10/10 recommend coming here if you're in the area!

Cindy K.

Yelp
I grew up going to Sinbala for food, pudding, shaved ice, drinks... you name it. Nowadays I mainly come for the packaged taiwanese sausage 香腸 and sometimes the frozen dumplings or shaved ice. The quality has remained high - it's one of the best spots to get authentic Taiwanese food outside of Taiwan. You can't really go wrong here. My only complaint is the prices have gone up a lot over recent years, and the new credit card minimum is $30... the economy is rough, but $6-7 for a tea drink or $7 for a taiwanese "meatball" or "tamale" is excessive.

Seno C.

Yelp
Never disappoint whenever I come here. It has been a while though. The place still the same, clean, efficient. People are friendly, helpful. The portion of some of the foods seemed reduced while the prices have increased.

Mark L.

Yelp
Tonight, my family and I dined at La Sinbala in Arcadia, a Taiwanese restaurant, and I must say that it was a wonderful gastronomic experience. I was greeted with genuine warmth and a nice ambiance from the time I walked through the door, setting the mood for a delicious meal. The menu of La Sinbala offers a great variety of Taiwanese cuisine that highlight the region's rich and diverse flavors. As a fan of Taiwanese cuisine, I was happy to find all of my faves and more. I placed an order for Sinbala Sausage Rice, Fried Pork Chop Rice, Meat Ball Noodle Soup, Squid Stew Noodle Soup, Steamed Mini Pork Bun, Popcorn Chicken, Oyster Pancake, Meat Ball, Sweet and Sour Cold Seaweed and dessert for Sinbala Shave Ice. The Popcorn Chicken was a real hit with the crowd. The bite-sized chunks of chicken had the proper amount of seasoning and were both crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were highly addictive and were a great choice for a snack or an appetizer. La Sinbala Taiwanese Restaurant has a wide variety of Taiwanese foods that will certainly satisfy your cravings for more and leave you wanting more, therefore I highly recommend checking it out.

Adam S.

Yelp
I remember coming here when I was still in school. Fast forward X years (trying not to age myself :P) and I'm glad they're still here! Their sausage rice place is a Taiwanese classic and just as tasty as I remember it. Another favorite of mine is their cold noodle which comes with peanut sauce and garlic as well as shredded chicken and cucumbers, perfect during the summer time. I usually get it to go for a satisfying lunch. Prices have gone up (expectedly) and the minimum for credit card is $30 -- this just means you get to order and try more of their menu :)

Jacqui Y.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Nice little mom and pop serving aaaahmazing comfort food! We typically get the popcorn chicken, sausage dish, the fish dish and chia yi chicken dish. Their dumplings are soo good too! Everything is flavored well and portions are good. Their shave ice dessert is excellent! You pick 5 toppings or mix-ins and it is shareable for sure! Service is always warm and welcoming. Make sure you check on their hours as they vary and sometimes close early. This is a spot we always come back to and love to support.

Aims V.

Yelp
I love coming here for their beef noodle soup which is my favorite and they have so many comforting food that I crave for every so often. The service can be a bit slow during busy time but overall I don't mind.

Vanessa K.

Yelp
Gave this place a try and was severely disappointed. They got our order wrong and was just generally not too friendly (alas, it is an Asian restaurant) Food was mediocre at best. Popcorn chicken was just so so in flavor, oyster pancake was meh, Taiwanese sausage was ok, pork belly was dried, squid noodles ('pottage') was lacking in flavor. In general, just nothing was very good.

Vincent D.

Yelp
There are about 10-12 tables - 10 seat 4 people and the others seat 2. There is 1 bathroom and it is acceptably clean. No outdoor seating. They accept cash, yes credit card, apple pay, google pay ($30 minimum), no venmo. Water comes in a tall liter glass which is free. Condiments are salt, pepper, vinegar, soy sauce. There is A/C. There are special elevated toddler seats. Parking has maybe 50 spots - medium sized outlet mall. During the afternoons, you can find maybe 2-3 spots but is mostly filled. It competes with an asian grocery store, boba shops, other asian retail shops. There is handicap parking. No EV charging in the lot. Waiters are okay, sometimes preoccupied but will get to you. They are dressed in t shirts and aprons and aren't social. The decor is more like some foreign stamps and chinese postings but there are more food/dining supplies exposed/showing than any restaurant art. They have glass walls you can see the outside from. They have toothpicks. They have an A health rating as of July 2024. No wifi. Yes outlets only 2-3. They serve mainly 14-16$ dishes which are basically extensions of asian tea station style snack foods and dishes. They also have fusion sinbala style sausage and combos that go for higher prices (check photo). Noise level is low-medium. mostly families with kids or quiet asian locals. yes vegetarian options.

Yelp
La Sinbala is definitely my go-to place for beef noodle soup!! From my experience eating beef noodle soup in 626, it doesn't seem like the beef noodle soup here has the standard taste!! Like the soup here tastes a little sweeter than other places, and the noodles are a little flatter and thicker. I think I normally wouldn't like these deviations but it makes for an absolutely perfect beef noodle soup at Sinbala! I just ate it today and talking about it makes me crave it again. I saw today that their green onion pancakes were not available, so I don't know if they took it out, but that dish was also amazing here. I hope it isn't gone for good. They are also really nice here!! Today I sat down and my friends took ~30 min to show up after me. I felt so bad but none of the waiters rushed me! They were so patient. Also, the food comes extremely fast.

Yelp
Last night was my first time trying this place. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. I ordered a sausage rice plate (13$+) & popcorn chicken (9$+). I thought the sausage rice was good. Nothing special, but you just can't go wrong with this meal. My plate came with tomato-ketchup egg, soft-boiled garlic cabbage, and corn as sides. I thought the tomato-ketchup egg was an interesting concoction. It's like the traditional tomato egg dish, but with an American twist, lol. I felt like I was eating dinner and breakfast at IHOP at the same time. The popcorn chicken came out slightly over cooked, so it was a bit dark in color and greasy. They were large pieces of chicken. Aside from it being over cooked, I thought the chicken was pretty juicy when it came to flavor. Definitely not worth over 9$ though. They also didn't have actual sweet & sour/sweet chili sauce for the chicken. When they brought me the sweet & sour sauce I asked for, it looked very different and tasted very light in flavor compared to how it would normally taste. Just something to keep in mind if you enjoy eating your snacks with sauce! Noise level here was average. Just what you would normally expect at a restaurant.

Yelp
This place is in a small shopping center with other restaurants nearby. This spot is great for their quick service and good food. When I mean quick, I mean, as soon as you sit down, they ask for your order. Lol. It's ok to ask for a minute or two to decide. I like that the menu is small, so you're not overwhelmed with too many choices. It was just me, and I had a craving for soup, so I ordered the pork noodle soup, and Taiwanese sausage. The soup came out piping hot, and if I had another person eating with me, it'd definitely be shareable. The sausage was good too, with the slices of garlic, it compliments the saltiness of the sausage. I asked for the check, and gave the waitress my debit card. Minimum fee to use card is $30. My total was around $20 something. I didn't have any cash on me, so I ordered some items to go. I had leftovers for the week. Lol. Next time, I'll remember to carry cash.

Yelp
I've only gotten to-go here with my friend who introduced me to Sinbala. Hands down great spot for rice plates (which comes with meat, rice, corn and cabbage). We usually get an order of Taiwanese sausage which slightly sweet and savory, with the bit of garlic *amazing*! We also like to get the fried pork chop or popcorn chicken, both are super crispy! The popcorn chicken is nostalgic to visiting milk tea spots and ordering a bag of popcorn chicken, except Sinbala tastes a lot better than Tapioca Express' popcorn chicken hehe.. Need to come back and try something new there!

Yelp
Very good sheep, Taiwanese food. The Chinese sausage is very tasty. I would definitely come back.
