Sinbalwon

We had various plates, including the assorted dumplings, and although tasty, but somewhat with little distinction in flavors, it's not a place I, as Westerner, would be cueing again for half an hour. This is because it's not a place I felt I could leisurely enjoy my food, I was told by the server I have to order all at once.

The taste does not justify the wait. If you're expecting Taiwanese or Chinese dumplings, this is not it. It's more Korean than Chinese. Service and atmosphere is good but this is not destination worthy, nor line worthy

So busy and thus we used the takeout place ylto test their famous dumplings (fried, steamed, beef, shrimp, etc.). I think I had a too big of an expectation! They were not as good as I expected. Certainly, they were different than what I longed for from my childhood years, larger deep fried or steamed dumplings from good Chinese Korean restaurants! An excellent example is the Fried Dumpling served at "Golden Buddha" in Atlanta (Decatur), Georgia USA, which has remained the same for over 30 years. If I were to pick the best of Sinbalwon dumplings, it would be the steamed beef dumplings.

I had the assorted dumplings. Good value for money. The dumplings were good, but not like the best. You may wait in line to dine in.

Dumplings are one of my favorite foods and my friend and I were craving them while in Busan. Found this place on Google maps and it did not disappoint. At the front of the restaurant is a pen and paper - you need to write your name, the number of people in your party, and the last four digits of your phone number and then a host will come out and go down the list to call you in and seat you as the inside of the restaurant is quite small. Since there are only a few items on the menu, service is quick. You order and pay from a small screen at your table. We ordered the cucumber salad, fried pork dumplings, pork and chive boiled dumplings, xiao long bao (soup dumplings), and the spicy pork dumplings. The spicy dumplings and the fried dumplings stole the show - both had such great flavor. Super cheap too, can’t beat the price! Highly recommend!

We were craving dumplings and this shops was listed in our guide. We had steamed dumplings and cucumber salads along with oolong tea. All were tasty. This is more a quick bite type of restaurant as you only have few dishes and eat fast and leave. But for this purpose it was perfect. Definitely recommend and it was yummy

The wait wasn’t too bad on a Weds afternoon but I don’t know if it would have been worth it if the wait wasn’t really long. The dumplings were crispy and had good flavor. It was solid.
