Sinck

I went to sinck as place was introduced to me like a wine bar and a good restaurant. Good was good, like really good! Portions were not big but very delicious sauces and fresh ingredients, so dishes were tasty and with fantastic mix of flavors, loved them. Wine... Not sure, I had a feeling wines were quite overpriced, especially ones sold by bottles. there were some by glasses, a tried one white and one red, wow didn't happen, though were good quality wines. Still give 5 starts to the place but mainly for food. I'd love to get recommendations for wines by glasses, probably, it would have made my experience better but was brought what I asked, so it's on me. :) Service was nice, friendly, attentive. Enough space in between tables though was quite loud from number of people inside.

Such an amazing restaurant. We had a truly phenomenal meal at Sinck. Farm to table Michelin guide restaurant! A group of 5 of us split many starters and entrees and genuinely everything was fantastic! The scallops are a must try from the starter list and the gnocchi and fish of the day were outstanding. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The atmosphere and presentation was our favorite in all of Amsterdam. The restaurant was full of locals and authentic

An exquisite dining experience at Sink in Amsterdam! We visited Sink Amsterdam as part of the Chemistry & Botanic's Team Trip. From the meticulously crafted decor to the warm and attentive service, every detail added to the charm of our evening. The enthusiasm of the staff was contagious, making us feel truly welcomed. And let's talk about the sourdough bread—it was so irresistible that an entire loaf disappeared during our meal! The culinary journey was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was a delight. Vegetarians felt not only welcome but truly catered to, thanks to the wonderful and diverse options thoughtfully presented on the menu. Meat and fish enthusiasts were undoubtedly won over by the lovely savory of the dishes, with a special nod to the impressive tomahawk steak savored by two at our table. The wine selection is noteworthy, featuring both exceptional bottles and delightful discoveries, and the manager's knowledge added a special touch. With a diverse menu catering to all tastes, Sink is a standout for its quality, friendliness, and professionalism. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary adventure!

It was the 4th restaurant around the city that we finally got this as all others were fully booked. This was too, as the manager showed us to the basement bar counter, which initially we were a bit reluctant.. however as we were tired from more searching & walking around, we settled with this place. Most amazing food from starters, mains & desserts well recommended by Derrick, our attentive and friendly aspiring sommelier.. check this place out & remeber to make early reservations! Highly recommended. If u r into wine, they have one of the most extensive wine lists in Amsterdam!🍷🥂

Our whole experience was overwhelmingly positive; the service we received was exceptional, the food was marvellous and the vibe of the restaurant was so relaxing. The wine list is extensive! The sommelier gave great advice and the wine chosen was exactly what we were looking for (and reasonably priced) The food menu is short but covers all the bases. The foie gros encrusted with pistachios (part of their ‘specials’) and the slow cooked pork cheek were standouts for us. We’re already trying to fit another visit into our schedule before we leave Amsterdam Cannot recommend enough

This is one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam hands down 👏👏 Everything about this place is just exceptional: the ambiance, the staff, the food, the wine pairing options ❣️ Their gnocchi dish is to die for, I am seriously considering to come here on a monthly basis exclusively for that dish; but all the dishes that we tried were simply delicious. Later edit: I have been here 4 times in the past 8 months and my opinion remains. Best restaurant in Amsterdam!

Exceptional food and service. Noteworthy wine choices. I highly recommend.
