"Sine serves contemporary cuisine influenced by the chef’s native Naples, as well as the local region of Lombardy. The dishes are occasionally playful in style, as demonstrated by the shrimp ravioli served in various ways, including with an intensely flavoured fish stew. The chef’s speciality is his fried pizzetta with palamita fish and courgettes, while his new dishes are showcased on the exciting and creative “Sine Confini” menu, on which he demonstrates his culinary skills to the full. Attentive, courteous service and a constantly evolving wine list which includes some lesser-known labels complete the picture." - Michelin Inspector

The ambiance is elegant without being pretentious; there’s a warmth and intimacy that immediately puts you at ease. The space is beautifully appointed, the lighting just right, and there’s a sense of purpose in every detail. It makes for a perfect setting whether it’s a celebration, a romantic dinner, or simply an experience worth savouring. The food is where SINE really shines. Di Pinto’s cuisine is contemporary Italian, but with deep roots — Neapolitan influences fused with the textures and ingredients of Lombardy. The creativity is consistent throughout the meal. Highlights include shrimp ravioli served in imaginative styles, and the signature fried pizzetta with palamita fish and courgettes — delicate, flavorful, and artfully presented. SINE is not inexpensive — this is high-end dining. But the pricing feels fair for what is delivered. You’re not just paying for flavour, but for the entire experience: artistry, hospitality, ambiance, and consistency. Anyone who loves Italian food with soul and flair, this place is worth a visit.

Chef Roberto gave us an unforgettable experience of wonderful stories and beautifully crafted food from his homeland of Naples. We left feeling satisfied and thankful for having experienced his vision. His colleagues were attentive and helpful. Sommelier Andreas provided some of the best wine pairings I have ever had. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful experience.

For a Michelin restaurant the expectation is higher. I’m glad I went to Sine but would return. The dishes are a little too creative making for inconsistent results. The cuddlefish was excellent while the chicken and egg dish misses the mark. This was the experience throughout the menu. Service was spotty.

This restaurant is really something that real foodies will appreciate as it is cuisine with a soul!!! The head chef and founder of the restaurant was present and seems to be very involved in the restaurant workings. Most of the menu is built around his passions and life experiences and as such not only will it give you this notion of intimacy with it's creator but it is also something that clearly was done with passion and the plates were delicious and tasty in that way that home cooking is often tastier than nouvelle cuisine. But make no mistake, no letting the authenticity of the approach fool you, this was a Michelin caliber type experience! An added benefit that their particular relationships with specific wineries that made for some nice discoveries on that side of the experience. Finally the restaurant is not very large and the kitchen is easily visible (see through wall) from most tables and as such the relationship with the staff is very close as well, they are always right there at your disposal when you need them and since they are always close by they do not feel the need to "check on you" regularly and interrupt your conversations, they are just there as soon as you need them... thorough enjoyment

We are visiting from the US, and this was our first time in Milan. Sine did not disappoint. Dinner here was a phenomenal experience! The atmosphere feels intimate, and the team is warm and welcoming. They thoughtfully accommodated several dietary restrictions and allergies. Each course was phenomenal, unique and an ode to Neapolitan cuisine. This was a fantastic meal from start to finish! A well deserved Michelin star. Thank you for a great evening!

The experience was truly amazing from start to finish. Amazing staff, that were careful to every detail and extremely kind. The food on the set menu was delicious, it took us through a journey in Napoli and back. I think I will dream of the Milano/Napoli risotto for a long time.

big yes to Chef Di Pinto from Fuorigrotta :) all was delicious and incredibly well presented. we were 3 and we got the big round table close to the entrance and that setting was already a big turn on/thumb up. all the staff is highly pro but at the same time not in posh overdose. youngsters kind and professional. ambience is nice, well lighted. well attended too in terms of clientele. rose wine we got had an amazing colour and smell, taste was likewise. about the grains/starches... pane cafone to die for, taralli and breadsticks very well done. pizza fritta OMG fusilli alla genovese with truffle super. also the deer was very good. how much was the damage in terms of hard money? probably the bill was on the expensive side (hey it s milan, this is a gourmet cuisine place), but I got treated so will never know exactly, but this place is worth it.
