"This UNESCO World Heritage site is carved into three main areas, or "cores." The Tanglin core is the oldest and the one visitors see first as they pass through the historic Tanglin Gate. The Tyersall-Gallop core is integrated into the park’s existing rainforest and the Bukit Timah core is home to a children's garden complete with treehouses, a suspension bridge, and farm. Visit the National Orchid Garden to see more than 1,000 species of orchids and 2,000 hybrids on display." - Ashlea Halpern

On our final day in Singapore, we decided to take a relaxing walk through the beautifully landscaped Singapore Botanic Gardens. It truly exceeded expectations and is one of the most impressive gardens I’ve visited across my travels. There are countless zones to explore, from lakes and waterfalls to dense forest boardwalks and palm tree-lined lawns. You’d never think you were in the middle of a major city. Once inside, it feels like a natural retreat, with open grassy spaces, peaceful shaded paths, and birds bathing in the water features. We followed the signs at various junctions which made it really easy to navigate the gardens and choose our route. The walk is easygoing with smooth, wide paths, and plenty of benches and rest stops along the way. One of the highlights was discovering a tucked-away waterfall and just pausing to take it all in. There's also a scenic lake surrounded by lush greenery that gave us some great photo moments. It's free to enter and an absolute gem for anyone wanting a calm break from the city. A perfect way to unwind and breathe in some nature before heading back to the buzz of Singapore. Would absolutely recommend setting aside a few hours to enjoy it properly.

Had a great time. Its free, with a few select paid sections. The free area is large enough to spend a few hours walking, and possibly an entire day of you enjoy nature. The areas were well maintained, pollution free, peaceful and the collections were impressive and interesting. If you visit Singapore, the Botanic gardens are not something you want to pass up on, unless youre more into shopping. I added some random photos for the sake of creating a generic impression.

This area is very spacious, surrounded by greenery and shade, so the air is fresh and cool all year round. It’s a perfect spot for family or group picnics. The highlight is the Swan Lake, home to one white swan and one black swan. If you’re lucky, you may catch them strolling around the lake or preening their feathers.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it's easy to see why. You can enjoy a wide variety of beautiful plants and freely explore the well-maintained lawns. Scattered throughout the gardens are scenic lakes, waterfalls, and ponds that enhance the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a popular destination for both tourists and locals, offering a perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and photo opportunities. Highly recommended for a refreshing day out.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The entire park is beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Our favorite part was definitely the Orchard Garden. The lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and tranquil paths made it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. It’s an ideal place for both leisurely strolls and photography. The gardens are family-friendly and very accessible, with plenty of shaded areas and benches to rest. We highly recommend the Botanic Gardens to anyone visiting Singapore or looking for a serene place to unwind. A true green gem in the heart of the city!

Google
Another great place to enjoy the flora in Singapore. Singapore Botanic Gardens is mostly peaceful, unlike gardens by the bay which has quite a lot of crowds, here you can enjoy peace in a lot of spots. I really enjoy seeing turtles in the pond, there's like hundreds of them in the pond, swimming and chilling above water. The trails are also really good for jogging. There's also a field that really really good for picnics with family. Or if you're introverted like me, talking with turtles is the best option

Pretty landscape, huge place and beautiful flora & fauna. The walking is shaded abs cooling for walks. Good cafes for coffee & breakfast, slightly on the pricey side. But well deserved meal after a big walk.

Google
Singapore Botanic Garden is absolutely magnificent! Most areas are free to explore, and the National Orchid Garden (which has an entry fee) is stunning and showcases orchids I had never seen before. It’s also a perfect spot for a picnic and a peaceful escape from the city. I highly recommend visiting while in Singapore as part of the gardens is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Yelp
The Singapore Botanic Gardens was one of the most comprehensive and interesting destinations that we visited in Singapore. In such an urban setting that is Singapore, this garden and everything that it offers is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle. There's open space for picnics, there's a beautiful orchid museum, walking paths, and lots of recreational activities. Very easy to navigate to the various places located within the complex. And easy to get to from public transportation. This place is very busy no matter what the weather is!

Yelp
Beautiful garden. My family and I came here to enjoy what the garden has to offer on a hot and humid day. We did bring umbrellas and that definitely came in handy! Gotta protect ourselves lol The garden is huge with different areas to check out. Some areas require entrance fee but in general, it is a free place to visit. Lots to see and with tons of scenic views. Since it was a hot day, we didn't want to walk around the entire garden. If we stayed to check out the entire place, it might take a whole day. It is that huge. Definitely worth the trip to check it out :)

Yelp
Massive and beautiful. I highly recommend starting your stroll or hike through the gardens early in the morning. There are shaded areas, but there are open sunny spots. And the added humidity can really be harsh for some people. The hours are 5 am to midnight. I took the metro to the Botanical Garden station and was right at the north entrance. I took the path along the east side strolling through the Eco Garden, Trellis Garden and Foilage Garden. Working my way to the Evolution Garden. This section was SO cool. It was like somewhere you passed through a portal. All the plants and landscape was very different. You expected a dinosaur to walk through at any moment. Leaving that area I crossed the middle of the park and kept moving south to the National Orchid Garden. The entire park is free, except for the Orchid Garden. A small entrance fee is paid at its private gate. Again I had no clue there were so many varieties of orchids. From teeny tiny to huge ones. And the colors and shapes. The admission fee is absolutely worth it. Although the paths here are a bit hard to follow. You don't want to miss a single flower. After three plus hours in the park, I popped out at Tanglin Gate. Here's another metro station or I chose to explore the area on foot. In the park restrooms are available, but not well marked. There are a few small cafes for coffee and snacks. Next time I enjoy one of them in the gorgeous surroundings.

Yelp
Fabulous gardens! And the main gardens are free! (Although the orchid garden cost $15). I spent all day stalking the otters, but never got a glimpse. I did see a clouded monitor lizard and the most gorgeous rooster I've ever seen. It is easy to take the MRT to one end, walk the full length then take the MRT home again. The two MRT stations that bookend the garden are Botanical Garden and Napier.

Yelp
Come as early as possible so we can and stay as late as you can. Entry is free. They have several restaurants on site. Even some fancy ones. Some of the attractions start closing at 1700. The park itself, is opened until midnight with most of the restaurants having late hours.

Yelp
Stunning !!! The garden is free to visit but the orchid orchids have a entrance fee. We were planning to Do both just there was so much to see at the garden we never made it to the organ orchid. It's worth visiting !!!

Yelp
Such a beautiful garden! We were and to take the hop on and off tour bus, and luckily this was on of the stops. The entry to the garden is free, but if you would like to visit the orchid section there is an entrance fee. It is a walking tour, so be prepared if it is a hot day. There is a cool section in the orchid gardens. We definitely took our time in there There is a concession stand before the orchid gardens if you would like water or snacks. The foliage all over was amazing. Definitely recommend if your a plant lover.

Yelp
I came here via train on a late Sunday afternoon in early December 2022. The train station dropped you off at the far north of the garden. Let me tell you - be prepared to get very lost if it's your first time there. This place is huge! It Is right next to the National University of Singapore. I kept stumbling into the University and having to make my way back into the Garden. There are a lot of people having picnics, taking photos of the birds/plants, exercising, walking their dogs - you name it! It was 88 degrees Fahrenheit and super humid - I, along with all the dogs I came across, were dying. I couldn't make it much farther than the Corner House restaurant, which was the main reason I was there since I had reservations. Throughout the garden there were sprinkles of little museums here and there that were open to the public. They were amazing because they all had air conditioning and restrooms. If you need something to do to kill time, this is definitely the place to do it. You can easily spend 2 or 3 hours here. Even though the roads are all paved, make sure you bring your comfortable walking shoes.

Yelp
Out-of-the-world beautiful garden!! There are ponds, lawns, lakes, and more. The Orchid Garden inside requires a small special admission fee ($3 SGD for foreigners and $1 for citizens, at this writing) and it's totally worth it! It is full of amazing and PERFECT looking orchids. See photos. The indoor part of the orchid garden has strong AC so that in itself is a great treat!! During the day it's usually very hot and humid, as in almost all the outdoor spaces here. I found that visiting in late afternoon, like a couple of hours before closing (7pm) to be the best time. Fewer people and slightly cooler. There's also a "playground" area with a few swing chairs and lots of wild roosters - fun place for youngsters. If you like travel photography then this is a must-go place. So many photo opportunities! Again, go later in the day (or perhaps first thing in the morning) so there won't be too many people.

Yelp
Classic Singapore beauty. Very large with many different areas to explore. Lots of running water and trails. Great for exercise or relaxation. Can take your pets too.
google avatar

Mel T.

Yelp
Very beautiful grounds! The garden is free to enter but if you want to check out the main attraction - the National Orchid Garden, you'll have to purchase tickets for entry to that. If not, there is still plenty to see and many different paths to take. I don't remember there being a metro station near where we entered because we took the bus to and from (we were trying to get closest to the Orchid Garden), but the garden is HUGE. Make sure you research what you want to see beforehand, otherwise you could end up on the complete opposite end of the park.
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
Very, very big gardens and free! We took a tour and learned a lot about the garden's history, plants, and wildlife. The plants are so cool! They only sell permethrin bug spray, which did not work. Dengue is a serious problem.

Yelp
My absolute fave in the destinations we went in Singapore. Spent a full day walking and simply enjoying the sights of the many orchids, gardens, and amenities here. If I visit SG again, will definitely give this place another go!

Yelp
Beautiful, just beautiful! All the trees, plants, flowers & birds are Just amazing. There's a reflexology path that is so good for my feet, after walking all day. Highly recommended.

Yelp
To be in the sparking clean Singapore surrounded by lush plants and blooms is absolutely a divine experience! Seeing nature at its best and even most unusual is unforgettable. I highly recommend visitors and locals make a visit.

Yelp
Singapore Botanic Gardens is indeed MASSIVE aka HUGE to explore from one end to the other end. I went with HT on a WET Friday morning. First time when I went to Singapore Botanic Gardens in a DOWNPOUR! Its FREE to enter the Park. Do allow yourself plenty of time if you intend to cover the WHOLE Singapore Botanic Gardens. Since HT wants to visit the National Orchids Gardens in which at the time we visited, some parts of the Exhibits are under construction. The highlight of my recent trip to Singapore Botanic Gardens in a DOWNPOUR, was to see a family of Otters swimming around in the pond nearby. The Singapore Botanic Gardens is accessible by car, Bus, or the nearest MRT Station is Botanic Gardens MRT Station CC19/DT9 both the Circle Orange Line and Downtown Blue Line. Do visit their website run by the National Parks, where FREE Guided Tour is available during the Month and the schedule allocated for these Guided Tour. It can be found through this website : https://www.nparks.gov.sg/sbg/education

Yelp
Must see for locals and visitors alike. This is one of the largest botanic gardens I've seen and it has a wide variety of stuff. There are several different parts that have various themes and it's spread out enough that a lot of it is very quiet and secluded. My favorite part was the elevated trails in the tree canopies but there's a lot to see here including plenty of monitor lizards.
google avatar

Nicole Q.

Yelp
Such a beautiful and romantic garden, and best of all is that admission is free! There are exhibits inside for which you have to pay but there is plenty to see and do for free. This garden is beyond large. You can spend all day admiring the different flora and fauna. You'll see beautiful water features sprinkled throughout including water falls and serene lakes. A warning - it is muggy so you will probably sweat your clothes off.

Yelp
Lovely. Peaceful. Green open spaces. Calming. Meditative. Lingering. Knowing that it can be hot just plain and simple, the Singapore Botanic Gardens is really a lovely place to wander, meander, walk, explore, get lost, learn. It is like the mini NY Central Park of Singapore (although much cleaner, greener and more beautiful). Difficult to see all the Themed Gardens properly in one visit, unless to are good on your feet to wander around for 3 hours or so, but a great place in Singapore to visit even if you only have an hour. There are some places in the garden that I was in the presence of dozens of people and then there were other areas that I was peacefully all alone void of another single soul, short the giant lizard that crossed my path. There is no charge to visit, although specific areas like the Orchid Garden will have a nominal fee. The Botanic Gardens are reachable via the MRT. There are many places to purchase cold drinks, snacks and souvenirs. The visitor center is large with gifts and souvenirs in abundance, especially with an orchid theme. Grab a map when you enter the park, be sure to have some water to hydrate with you, wear good shoes for walking and enjoy this gem of Singapore.

Yelp
Founded in the year of 1859, Singapore Botanic Gardens was inscribed as Singapore's first UNESCO World Heritage site on 4th of July, 2015. I am one of the very few here who is giving one of the most popular attractions in Singapore a less than a 5 Stars review. Like fellow yelper Matias H, I am more of a city person and not a nature person. This does feel more like a park, a huge park to be exact rather than a garden. I do not even remember when was the last time I visited the Singapore Botanic Garden. This week I have a friend who was here for a conference and extended the stay for a few days, we decided to check out the gardens together. It was awesome now the mass rapid transit (mrt) has built a Botanical Garden station next to the attraction. Use the downtown line or circle line to come here. Admission is free for all except to the Orchid Garden. Saying Singapore Botanic Gardens is huge, is really an understatement. It is massive. The grounds are very well-maintained. We were blessed with good (read: hot and muggy) weather. I take that kind of weather any day rather than heavy downpour or thunderstorm when visiting a place like Singapore Botanic Gardens where there are not many shelters. Admission to Orchid Garden is SGD5. It is inexpensive. There are many beautiful orchids there. There is also a section of VIP orchids which are orchids named after foreign dignitaries. I saw there is an orchid there which was named after Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to the Gardens in 1972. There are not enough benches throughout the attraction. Again, I do feel this is really more like a park. I guess the weather being too hot and muggy or heavy downpour/thunderstorm can ruin the full enjoyment of the Botanic Gardens. This will be a perfect place to relax, have a nice stroll (do not be ambitious and try to cover all grounds) or just want to escape from the hustle & bustle of a city provided the weather permits. Then again, for me, I chose Gardens by the Bay over here any time as my peaceful sanctuary in the the bustling city called Singapore

Yelp
A great place to jog or walk. Lovely gardens to take photos or sit and read. Occasional live concerts. There are birds, turtles, lizards fish and more. The gardens are perfectly maintained. We like to sit under a tree, listen to some music and have some snacks. There are separate themed gardens such as orchid, fragrant garden and medicine plants. It's has parking and bathrooms and easy wheel chair or pram access. There are play fields for football or frisbee. Ultimately it's a beautiful but flexible place and entry is free (except a couple of the speciality gargens) Enjoy
google avatar

Rozina P.

Yelp
Loved it! But do not go here in the summer months, tends to get very humid and that will absolutely ruin the visit. We went during the hottest season in April (or it seemed like that). The humidity was peak so after a little while of walking it became exhausting which ruined the experience a bit. All in all despite that I still had a great time. The place is huge, probably impossible to see in one go. Lots of different trails to walk around to get a good view of the different vegetations. Take your time, wander around and get lost in the this beautiful place. Just make sure to have water and some snacks!
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
What a beautiful place!!! We walked over from the Shangri-La hotel, wasn't a hard walk but totally worth it. The place is beautiful and calming. You can wonder throughout the place and enjoying all the wonder sites , plants, and animals. There is a lovely gift shop on the grounds where you can pick up some reasonable priced items. Overall, highly recommend stopping in and taking a stroll ...watch out! Your walking through the animal's habitat and they are active.

Yelp
Everything about Singapore Botanic Gardens is pristine and beautiful, and a wonderful way to spend a day away from the urban intensity of the mega malls. The gardens are expansive, exceptionally well-kept, and wonderfully FREE, and the special orchid garden exhibit is only $5 per person, which seems quite reasonable. Once in the park, you can meander around all over the place with only seeing a few other people, so again, it really is a nice break away from the crowds. Within the park there is a nice variety of designated areas - a jungle-y area, medicinal plants exhibit, etc. There are also some surprises, like monitor lizards, which I thought were pretty awesome compared to Southern California's tiny, emaciated little lizards. The restaurants on-site are also worth visiting, as we felt all of them seemed to have good seating (you're not crammed inside a building but rather have your pick of outdoor seating with pleasant views and shade) and an impressive amount of healthy food choices. Do wear sunscreen, as there is a decent amount of shade but you'll still see a good bit of sun. Also, the gift shops (including the orchid exhibit one) have some beautiful pieces of art, so keep that in mind for any sort of Christmas/Mother's Day/whatever type presents.

Yelp
Best sights in Singapore! You will not regret visiting. !! We were there in 2019. Now that we are back in 2023 we must go again !!

Yelp
There is a lot of various flora and fauna to see here! Not to mention a lot of things have information printed in front of them so that you know what you're looking at and it's importance. It was extremely hot the day I visited (I ended up walking from one end of the gardens to the other) so make sure to stay hydrated, bring a fan/hat, sunbrella and sunscreen! Also take a map and don't be afraid to ask for directions! I originally wanted to visit their orchids exhibit too but at the time it was midday and I didn't want to bake in the hot Singapore sun. Though since it was March holiday, Singapore residents and PRs got free admission which is a pretty awesome way to promote the exhibit. Besides, there were a good amount of orchids on display in front of the "National Orchid" sign in front of the exhibit so I don't think I missed out on too much. There's also a path (before the bonsai trees garden) that has a bunch of the Miss Joaquim flowers growing!

Yelp
A very well-maintained garden with a variety of plants and flowers to look at while taking a nice, slow stroll. The tall trees make cool shades away from the blazing sun. Good to go with kids and elderly

Yelp
Clean and green. The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a beautiful park free to locals and guests from around the world. If you wish to see the world-class orchids in the Orchid Garden, the entrance fee is a small S$5. There are many amazing sculptures to look out for during your walk. I love the one with the marble ball "floating" on water. You can spin the heavy marble ball. It is all about the physics. The Gardens has an outdoor amphitheater where you can take in free concerts put on by the Singapore Symphony orchestra. There is a diversity of plants and wildlife. I love watching the various waterbirds that take advantage of the ponds in the gardens. There are exotic birds like the hornbills. I also love the adorable squirrels with the handsome black stripes. The best time to take in the gardens are the mornings and evenings when it is not too hot and the crepuscular wildlife are out.

Yelp
Very beautiful park, amazing place, nice place to unwind. Well maintained place. Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
I initially was going to skip doing this review and let it join the endless list of others that got SPARTA'd into the bottomless backlog pit (that I will never look back into and do anymore)...especially since it will have nothing to do with food...nor has it anything to do with a rant about some business that I had felt compelled into. Yet, something must have changed my mind into thinking that this would be somewhat of a tribute to a gem within my own country that I have been away from most of my life (and severely bored of...after these last few months). I asked for endless recommendations on things to do in Singapore and most of the things that came my way brought out the "you've got to be joking me" look. This, however, ended up being one of few places where I enjoyed my visit. To skip the whole boring layout of what's great and what's not about this place...I'll just highlight two things that REALLY caught and held my attention for a bit. FIRST - the Swan Lake. Yeah, a GIGANTIC pond with a pair of swans that drew a bunch of twats who didn't heed the warning sign of "DON'T FEED THE SWANS" because they wanted to either do some goodwill to them the ignorant way OR because they wanted a closer photo. Seriously? You know why you don't want to accidentally kill one swan right? They only have one partner through their lifespan...you kill one, the other one dies along. I was so tempted to push one of them into the pond and say OOPS... Oh yeah, besides the swans...the pond is FILLED with gigantic fish...especially those 2 (and I spotted a few 2.5-3) feet long catfish. Kids were feeding them too (but there wasn't a sign this time) and all along I just kept thinking to myself how freaking awesome it would be to drop a line in with a light rod trying to pull up one of those monsters. That would be freshwater fishing CLOSE to its best! SECOND - the Orchid Garden Okay, for all you American readers, the orchid is the national flower of Singapore. So if you really want to see different varieties of amassed amounts of orchids in one spot without breaking the bank (and just sweat)...this is your TO-GO spot. The varieties were stunning. The other tourists were fun to jibber-jabber with. The other people helped take photos and discussed orchids with us like they were botanists. The...the...woah...there's one called the Princess Diane? Good thing it was PRETTY! Anyways, not going to rant on the obvious. Uploading photos...as in these situations, they are more than words can really express. PS. Coldest spot in the whole botanical gardens is a little A/C'd room in the middle of the orchid garden. Trust me...I was in there for a long time...trying to cool off from the infamous Singaporean HEAT. Yelp 100: 35/100

Yelp
Wow! What can I say. This place is absolutely amazing, and is arguably my favorite part of Singapore. The diversity of greenery here is amazing, as you can experience different biomes such as the rainforest and high altitude mountain plants all within the same park. There are a lot of different exhibits that make you think you're in a different part of the world, or even time period. This is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the city, and nothing is nicer than coming here for a brisk walk or light jog to start the day. The best part is that aside from one part of the garden, the entire thing is FREE! This is an absolute must do in Singapore. I would recommend tackling the gardens in the early morning, or late afternoon. While it's still very beautiful in the afternoon, Singapore's humid weather will make it a very sticky experience!

Yelp
The Botanic garden is the start of the orchid garden and I enjoyed it just as much as the orchid garden. With tons of gingers, bromeliads, and even a man-made water fall that I enjoyed. Then you're brought into the gift shop for you to see anything orchid related, which then dumps you into the orchid garden. My favorite part of the botanic gardens. It's gorgeous and a great photo op, especially for weddings! Come here and intend to spend about 3 hours here, though i spent more time here since I was so in love with all of the orchids. I loved it so much, the second time I came back, I got the pressed orchids in a frame to put in my office.

Yelp
Thanks to the courteous Regent Hotel Staff, was given directions to the Botanic Garden as an option for a light 2-3 mile (3.5-5 km) morning run. I wasn't disappointed. I jogged along Napier Road (turns into Holland Rd) and ran into this lush park to the Main Gate Road. There are plenty of challenging hills and after passing the large spinning water ball, I suggest you take the "rain forest path" which is shaded and beautiful. You can stretch you runs to longer distances here at early in the morning, there's not too much foot traffic to navigate. Other than NY's Central Park, this could very well be among my favorite parks to run on. If you're visiting. Don't forget your running shoes. You will want to run this every morning. Highlights: 1. Ginger Garden (neat waterfall you can crawl behind) 2. Foiliage Garden (closer to Bontanic Gardens MRT) 3. Evolution Garden (my favorite garden of all of them) 4. Statue of Chopin overloking lilies and stage by Symphony Lake 5. The Healing Garden (find out which herb helps cure your physical ailment) 6. Reflexology/Bamboo Path 7. Rain Forest (great if you need shelter from the heat) This is my favorite place in all of Singapore.

Gosh I haven't been back to the Botanic Gardens since my age became double digits but it has evolved gracefully over the years to remain a lovely Singaporean attraction. Randomly decided to stop by while taking the circle line, the MRT exit puts you on the Bukit Timah entrance which sets you up for a lovely walk through to the main entrance at Tanglin. Obviously lots of beautiful flora and fauna to be found around the park but my nostalgically favorite part of walking through the park was the aromatic smells of pandan leaves and fresh ginger. It's almost therapeutic. For locals and visitors seeking a short break from the urban jungle, the Botanic Gardens offers the perfect little respite.

Yelp
I have never been to the Eco Lake so it was lovely to be able to check it out. the weather was perfect. the sky was so blue that it was surreal. Since it was a Friday morning I was there, I noticed there was quite a crowd. One new thing i learned is that you ain't allowed to take out of the garden any leaves even the dried dead ones on the ground; the garden warden was there and kindly relayed the information. so whatever you pick up, remember to drop it back to its natural habitat.

Yelp
Favorite place in Singapore. Twenty minutes from CBD and you are in a tropical paradise. Wildlife, orchids, trees, open lawns, great restaurants, trails, fresh air. Love coming here to walk around, have a picnic, read a book.

Yelp
My favorite place in Singapore, as experienced over 4 days in July. We saw at least 12 wild otters playing on land and in the water, 3 turtles/terrapins, and 2 Malayan Monitors, one of which was 5+ feet long and quite close. The walkways are lovely, and it's just a wonderful, quiet, and peaceful place on the very edge of a bustling city.

Yelp
Pretty garden where you can take a jog or enjoy a Sunday morning or afternoon with the family. On Sunday's it gets pretty busy since lots of people take out their dogs or go jogging.

Yelp
The Singapore botanic gardens are amazing. The park is huge, you could spend all day walking the paths if you wanted to. But you can also spend as little as an hour looking around and still probably see most of it. The orchid garden is definitely a highlight. You can roam the gardens for free but you will pay $5 to enter the orchid gardens. Bring lots of water and sunscreen. It's HOT out there.
