I didn't expect my rojak to go so wrong. This stall doesn't taste this bad last time, not sure what has gone wrong. The you tiao was tasteless, something in the rojak tasted stale, the beansprouts had the rawness. I tried one mouth and my partner tried once, we threw it away.

Overall is positive. I find the quantity low though for a 4.50 rojak. But depends on rental maybe. TPY still better but this is decent.

The hawker is very friendly and polite. I got my order within 5 mins cos it was after lunch hour and not as many people in the hawker centre. Having said that, customers were streaming in non-stop. The rojak sauce tasted good with a good balance of sweetness, sourness and saltiness. The chilli gave my tongue a slight sense of tingling spiciness which was good. The lingering taste after each mouthful of the salad made me craving for more. This dish needs to be consumed immediately after prepared else the sauce will turn watery (see the 3rd photo) and you will not get the crunchy texture of the toasted ingredients. I tot the ingredients could have been more and I adding semi ripe mangoes will enhance the overall flavour and dining experience for this dish. Thus i decided to cut some mango slices and made full use of the left over sauce…

The uncle was nice but unfortunately the rojak ($3.5) wasn't. The you tiao was not crispy enough and the pineapple was dry and not sweet.

Singapore Famous Rojak is rightfully recognized for mastering the art of this quintessential local fruit and vegetable salad. The genius lies in the thick, flavorful prawn paste dressing, which achieves a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy notes, liberally coated over the fresh ingredients. The mix of crispy youtiao (fried dough fritters), juicy pineapple, chewy tau pok (tofu puffs), and refreshing cucumber provides a variety of textures in every bite. It’s a delicious, authentic hawker experience that truly showcases the complexity and richness of traditional Singaporean flavors—a definitive must-try.

If you’re looking for the best rojak in Singapore, this Michelin-recognized stall is the place to go! The flavors are incredible—every bite is perfectly balanced with just the right mix of sweetness, tanginess, and crunch. It’s hands down my go-to rojak spot. On top of the amazing taste, the boss is super friendly, which makes the experience even better. Keep in mind that prices have naturally increased over the years (as they have for everything), so don’t expect prices from decades ago—it’s well worth every cent for the quality you’re getting. Highly recommended if you want to indulge in authentic, top-tier rojak. Definitely a must-try!

The uncle manning the stall was very nice. Unfortunately the rojak was quite bad. The you tiao was soft and soggy, and the prawn sauce was pretty much tasteless.

I never tried rojak before so interested to give it a go. Sauce has a sweet tone to it, you get the crunchiness of the cucumber, turnip and pineapple, combined with Chinese donut cut in bite sizes which sucked thr sauce. Pretty special experience, I won't say it tastes bad but a very interesting taste for me.
