Yelp
Our table got the Beef Cashew Nut dinner, the Sashimi dinner, the Hotty Hotty roll and Wasabi roll. Our ranking comes from a few different factors including the food flavor, service, and prices.
First, coming from the NYC area, we thought the pricing here was a little high given the quality of the dishes. The Beef Cashew dinner had fresh veggies and a good amount of meat, but maybe not worth $19. The sashimi dish was pretty good (we asked for specific fish and they were nice enough to accommodate), but it was served on ice. Sashimi is never served ice cold, as the coldness from the ice does not allow you to fully appreciate the cut of fish. Perhaps this was done as a food safety precaution but it really ruined the experience of enjoying the fish. The two rolls we got were the best part (great balance of flavors, salty and sweet melody was spot on), but again $18/$19 for these rolls were a bit high. (For reference, this is similar price I would pay in Manhattan).
The service here was okay. We were served food without utensils, no personal plates, and had to ask frequently for water. Nothing against the hostess or servers themselves, they were quite nice, just part of the review.
Overall, this restaurant is totally fine if your okay with paying tourist prices. The rolls were very good, and the sashimi was good, just a combo of the higher prices and mid service didn't match up to the hype.
