The 14 Best Bars In Amsterdam - Amsterdam - The Infatuation

"People in Amsterdam can't seem to get enough of the passion fruit-forward pornstar martini. At Sins of Sal, a dusky bar themed on decadence, the Adult Entertainment is a rendition that tames what’s typically saccharine with bitter Campari and aji chilis. The Cosmo-inspired Cosmic Colada that’s pulled from a slushie machine is also a popular pick, as is the Elote Paloma with mezcal and charred corn cordial. There’s a solid selection of natural wines, a couple of which are used in their sangrias, plus Latin street-food plates." - paolo espanola

Our first stop and first time in Amsterdam and Sins of Sal made it unforgettable. The food was insanely tasty, but what really topped it off was how friendly the staff was. The waiters walked us through every dish, explaining the flavors and ingredients like we were part of the process, and they actually seemed excited to do it. Super warm, super genuine, super helpful. Delicious food, great vibes, amazing start to the trip. Easy 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Amazing cocktails and even more amazing bites. The staff are quite friendly and patient to go through details. We also ordered wine and their collection is worth a try. I can only say you may find yourself having to shout while talking since it’s quite load.

Sins and sal is not for the purist, they do everything just a little bit different and that's what makes it amazing. A cocktail menu with a pinch and a spice and great bites. And non-alcoholic alcohols for those who fancy them. The staff is badass and absolutely friendly. Get some chocolate covered treats, you'll be amazed.

We didn’t have food here and only stopped by for cocktails. The cocktails we tried were genuinely good. I had a spicy daiquiri (can’t remember the exact name), and the Negroni was also very satisfying. Since food service is ongoing inside, the mix of cocktail aromas and food smells can create a slightly heavy atmosphere, so it’s good to be aware of that. The table we were seated at had a few leftovers from previous guests, which slightly affected the overall experience. Still, it’s a nice spot for a quick pre-drink, as long as you don’t plan to spend the entire evening there.

Loved our evening here. Great drinks but definitely also try their food! We tried a few things and here is our list in order of superrrrr good to still pretty good. Literally everything was great - we had Tacos Nikkei, Tacos de Carnitas, Tacos de Pipián , Tacos de Lengua, Flip-flop Margarita, Breezer Daiquiri and the Low rider. Special note: the hot sauce with the carnitas was AMAZING - I regret not asking if they sell these. The service was beyond amazing too - would love to come back on our next trip to Amsterdam:)

This is hands down the best taco-focused restaurant I’ve been to—anywhere in the world. The cocktails? Truly world-class. In my opinion, it’s one of the top dining experiences in Amsterdam, and that’s entirely thanks to the incredible team behind it. You can feel the passion in every dish and drink—they’re true artists who have mastered their craft. The menu rotates often, but if you get the chance, don’t miss the tuna, veal tongue, or carnitas tacos. The cauliflower appetizer is a must, and their house-made hot sauce is unforgettable. You genuinely can’t go wrong with any of their cocktails—they’re all exceptional.

Only good vibes here. The cocktail was so so good and the staff is very knowledgeable, passionate and full energy. A scarcity these days in Amsterdam. Keep it up!

A cozy bar with well curated menu. Every dish is unique and delicious. They have a very well thought out menu and the only sin you can commit is gluttony 😄 Last but not least the cocktails like adult entertainment are really one of the best I have had so far.
