Yelp
A quaint small cafe that charming, cozy and solid with quality pastries. It sits on West 58th Street intersecting 6th Avenue (aka Avenue Of The Americas) in Midtown West of Manhattan, NYC. I rate Sip and Co very high because this business contains my favorite foods: salmon lox on a bagel and French macaron cookies. Yum! This was my lunch for the day and ate my fill to sustain my hunger pangs.
Salmon Lox $16.00
With one slice of tomato, green vegetables, and sufficient plain cream cheese on a everything bagel. The cream cheese was not excessive quantity to overflow the bagel perimeter when biting. The salmon was very fresh and the green vegetables create a consistent balance as I only needed pepper for a condiment. Worth every penny for every crumb.
French macarons (box of six count) $18.00
I chose chocolate, vanilla, nutella, raspberry, lavender, and violet. All were delicious and gone within mere minutes! I want more, please! Again, worth every penny for every crumb.
I would surely return for another round of French macarons and possibly other pastries. I can eat French macarons almost all day. The menus affixed to their walls are rather difficult to read. A loyalty drink card for Sip & Co. is available and after ten beverages the eleventh one is free. No comment on their drinks as I did not order any due to fear of spillage when travelling on the NYC MTA subway. Customer service is excellent who exhibit patience, kindness, friendliness, and very informative. Sitting indoor is very limited as there is only ledge with high chairs, but no actual tables. This quaint cafe is very cute and simple, but can be easily missed in passing as I was walking. I am grateful that credit cards is accepted as a form of payment.
