I had a connecting flight in phoenix, and during that short layover I decided to grab a drink and sit down. I stumbled across Sip Coffee & Beer, and it was a lovely reprieve from waiting around in an airport The layout is fairly open, with limited seating, but you can always take your order to-go. There are two main sections, the coffee section and the bar (alcohol section). They are both connected, but both have slightly different vibes. They have coffee store type foods as well as bar type foods The staff were friendly and helpful. I only ordered a beer, but it came out quickly. I came in a plastic pint glass that looked glass, but I was disappointment with the plastic feel in terms of weight and temperature Some tips: They have local beers to try, and if you're just passing thru it's a great opportunity to try local phoenix brews Cheers!!

I have not tried the food or drink. This review is strictly on the noise level. We arrived at 5:15am for a 7:10am flight. The music was SO LOUD it was nearly cafe-concert level. Terrible music, but that's beside the point. The point is the volume. No one I know wants to listen to music at that volume that early in the day!! The music improved later on and reduced in volume. I'm not sure what that was about!!!

The food was pretty tasty, but the people working there and the environment was the reason I almost missed my flight back to Texas. Veronica was AMAZING!!! She had the greatest attitude and was cool under pressure when the place got packed. I will definitely be back when I visit Phoenix again!

It's an airport. But saw a review of thier mac and cheese topped with pulled pork. The review was right this is great! Iced coffee was a winner also, not bitter or old! Service was outstanding, but if course I didn't arrive during a rush and since the airline has stranded me a couple extra hours due to missed connections I had time to relax!

I walked by a giant line at Pete's coffee to go to the new Concourse D, grab a cookie and an iced late from Sip, and then walked past the same line that had moved like all of three people. And you know what, Sip's coffee was TASTY, it was rich without being too bitey, the milk came through with creaminess that didn't drown out the roast, the vanilla was just the right sweetness on top of every sip. Oh, and because I'm an adult I had that chocolate chip cookie for breakfast. But the best thing about Sip is that if you wanted to you could have an empinada and beer while you waited for your plane. What about a cookies and cream muffin? What about an actual view of aircraft doing their thing on the apron? Instead of crowding in line with a bunch of coffee starved sheep queuing for the first fix they say after security, cozy up to the bar, chat with someone, and take your pick of libations and sustenance. I'm definitely looking forward to exploring Sip more my next trip through PHX.

The girls behind the counter were super friendly and had great attitudes! They helped me choose my coffee and didn't disappoint! I got a coffee cake and they offered to warm it but I said no- I should have said yes. It was decent but not great.

I ordered coffee with cream on the side. They told me they do it. 1/2 and 1/2. Fine. I got a cup of cream with a splash of coffee. I told them to dump 1/2 out and add coffee. When u carried back to my seat in waiting area and opened it. It was cold. Not even warm. Ugghh. I took it back and told them. She took my cup and just walked away. What a waste of $4.50. For just a coffee. I didn’t even want another on from them but they didn’t even offer it.!!! Horrible!!!

$6 for a tiny cappuccino. About half the size of a Starbucks drink. The coffee tasted good but I wouldn't recommend it for the price.
