Sip Organic Juice Bar

Sip Organic Juice Bar delivered one of the blandest juice experiences I’ve ever had, but the staff’s personalities were somehow even duller. With three employees behind the counter, the atmosphere felt like a fourth coworker had just passed away. You’d expect people surrounded by health drinks to seem alive, not half-dead and drained of any spark. My attempt at friendly conversation with the cashier was met with a blank, unenthusiastic stare that killed any hope of human warmth. The uninspired juices matched their mood perfectly. If you’re looking for kindness or even a trace of friendliness, look somewhere else. I arrived feeling positive and left feeling unwelcome and unimpressed.

It’s pretty good if you need something fresh while driving but after they started subbing peanut butter for almond butter I decided I can make most of it at home without the $13-15 price tag.

This juice bar is just such a special place, the recipes are super well balanced and I’ve learned about many ingredients that now I add to my own smoothies at home

Went in yesterday to check out a local business, came out with a very bad taste in my mouth. The owner was there (Christine I believe), and I noticed her preparing food and drinks with no gloves on, absolutely unsanitary. Will not be going here again.

My favorite stop! As soon as you walk in the door you see and smell the healthy goodness - fresh ingredients, friendly service. Helps me feel great! The perfect way to start the day or get a healthy pick me up to finish up a busy schedule.

I absolutely love coming into Sip Organic Juice Bar. I've been a customer up there since they opened several years ago. I try and stop there every time I return back to Grand Rapids. I really enjoy Superbass and La Isla Bonita for smoothies. They use very high quality ingredients and no sugary syrups like you get at other places.

Love this place so much!! I always get my coffee, smoothies, and juices from here only! The staff is amazing too! ❤️

Usually great...but 2 days in a row, they are out of MANY KEY ingredients for their juices and their acai bowls. I spend $25 each visit, and can't get what is on the menu board. Employee explanation, "We're just running low on things this week." Odd... A Dr Feelgood with no ginger makes me feel bad. An acai bowl without granola is just a fruit cup. Time to find another place.

I asked for a juice off menu and the staff was happy to accommodate my request. The owner was so friendly and went above and beyond for my special health circumstances. I felt seen and supported. She gained a customer for life! And it's saying something when this is the first food review I've ever given! The help immunity shot tasted great and I'm thrilled to find they offer celery juice by the growler. There's a cute little seating area which I'll be back for. Next time I'm bringing my laptop.

Very cute place with great smoothie selections. What I loved most was they did not have fake juice that they make the smoothies in it's all real and pressed right in front of you so I didn't have to ask for water instead of the fake juice I usually have to substitute for. One recommendation which is just knit picking is I wish they had better protein boosts. Like a plant based pea protein maybe! Overall great experience!

Sip has an awesome set up for Covid to-go orders. They have a huge menu on their window of their store with their phone number. You order (if you haven't ordered ahead of time) and tell them the color of your car. They run it right out to you. Their juices are sooooo good and the Almond Butter Toast is my favorite... it has sliced bananas on the top with possibly honey(?). Whatever it is it's incredibly. The guys who are working here every time I've been here are wonderful.

Pricey but worth it. Feel better every stop in. Do recommend but be prepared to be addicted.

SIP is my favorite juice bar in the greater GR area. As all juice bars seem to be, it's a pricey little place. But fear not as I believe you get nice organic bang for your buck here. Sip has a large variety of smoothies, juices and bowls; along with a couple of toasts and other food items. They serve kombucha and little energy bar snacks as well. I have had quite a few of the smoothies. They come in 16 and 20 oz. The larger of which can substitute as a substantial breakfast or lunch. I like the Over the Rainbow. Green, sweet and with a nice banana flavor. I also like the Blueberry one (I forget the name offhand) and the Strawberry Fields is awesome too. As far as juices are concerned, my go to is the Upside Down. The celery juice and greens keep it super light and healthy, and the pineapple sweetens it. I always seek out pineapple when I have sore muscles. The toasts here are good, but definitely easy enough to recreate at home if you are watching what you spend. Sip has recently changed ownership; I have noticed a less cluttered entrance space and a couple other improvements that I applaud. I prefer sip to the other juice bars around, as it is locally owned and I love to support small businesses rather than large franchises whenever I get the chance. Stop in for a sip! If you're hopping on the New Years weight loss trend, I noticed that they also offer a few levels of cleanses. Haven't tried one but sounds interesting.

I enjoyed the environment and the staff were very friendly but the ingredients were very simple. With the menu prices I was expecting more, organic ingredients can be pricey but I saw nothing impressive about the smoothies. Next time I'll save my money and make it myself.

Drink wasn't bad but I'll be honest, the experience wasn't great. Two people ahead of me were told something was unavailable for their order. When I ordered avocado toast, I was also told they couldn't make it. There were visible bugs on the saw grass in the waiting area. The other reviews are accurate. I love supporting local places but probably won't be back.

It's been a few years since I have stopped in for a random juice, mostly because they are not located in an area I frequent. Found myself in the Forest Hill's area and figured it'd be a nice treat and a quick lunch to grab. The location is super cute and well decorated. Love the interior! Parking lot is tiny and shared among a few places, so parking is scarce. I got the All Summer Long - which is my typical go to because I love anything with dates in it - this one however was way overpowered by the banana. Only other thing I could taste was the cinnamon.. so slightly disappointed. Also, it was pretty watery for a smoothy. I also asked for whatever shot was recommend because I felt like I needed a coffee, I was dragging big. Not sure which one i got... tasted horrible! lol But, i didn't expect it to taste great. The orange wedge with it is a nice touch, and a nice way to chase it. I also picked up a Bloom Chai Kombucha. I was a tad surprised at the total... i paid over $17 for a shot, a smoothie, and a kombucha .. felt a little steep. My order came out quick and the service was friendly. I would frequent more often if they were closer, but it would be more of a splurge since they are kind of expensive.

Totally over rated. The old lady at the register was judgemental and rude. The drinks didn't even taste good.

This place is always out of ingredients and then tries to substitute without you knowing. Has happened three times and the consistency on taste is always different. I admit I am pretty picky when I spend 5-8 dollars a drink but mango is what I paid for dont give me bananas.

This place has very good juice and selection. Speedy service and a wide variety of juices and detox drinks to satisfy anyone. Will definitely be going back.

Sip specializes in natural juice drinks and healthy liquid meal alternatives. Made from fresh fruit and veggies, the store smells as enticing as their beverages are. I usually try to push myself out of my comfort zone when I visit and get veggies I don't usually buy on my own. Even with a hunk of green stems swirling around the blender, I've never had a bland drink. I've had success with the "Dr Feelgood" (Greens, celery, cucumber, apple, lemon, ginger) and the "Upside Down (Greens, celery, pineapple, cilantro, lime". They typically sell some small, healthy treats at the register, but this shop is mainly bevies. With as thick and tasty as they are, it's very easy to have one as a meal replacement or a pick me up if you are running around town.

I will start of by saying I am a little bias when it comes to healthy smoothies, so I am willing to deal with just about anything to get one. Here at sip their smoothies and juices are right on par. (and I come from the land of juices aka Los Angeles). This is the place to go to get extra veggies and nutrients into your diet. Their beverages are jam packed with amazing foods for your body. All whole, natural ingredients go into your cup. Feel free to ask all the questions and find out which drink will best serve your palette. The employees will also take the time to help create a drink that is right for you, no need to order straight from the menu! My only hesitation I would give to people is be patient with them, since it takes them a minute or two to make their smoothies and juices, that you may have to wait a bit to be helped or to get your order! In the meantime they have a little store you can check out their items for sale as well as some prepackaged products that maybe you would like to take home for later!

just bought a $9 smoothie and it is not cold and there was definitely dirt blended into it... very bad texture and not a lot of flavor. yikes:/

YUM. Order the tangy & fruity Açaí bowl & ask to add coconut, almond butter and your favorite fruits on top. It is next level good.

We live in the neighborhood and often walk to Sip. We've always had great service and great smoothies.

What a terrible experience! Try to get of your personal call when you have a customer standing long enough to tell them that you will be right with them. Also, Kirkland brand almond milk is not organic so if that's what you use in your lattes then you aren't 100% organic. Also learn how to steam milk so that it doesn't melt someone's entire mouth when they have a small sip. A latte that you pretty much made me get because you said it was already being made when I tried to cancel it. It for damn sure was not!! A persons energy makes a lot of difference when they make you something and this woman(who I think may be the owner) had bad narcissistic energy.

Sip is about one of the few, and bar far the best raw juice bars in the Grand Rapids area. They're super mindful about their ingredient sourcing and they also offer some other bottled goodies that you can pick up, like Bloom Ferments Kombucha. If you plan on going here a bit, they also have a loyalty program and all they need are your digits to track it.

Great spot, awesome healthy tasting smoothies and juices and so much more in the food department, my favorite is the cashew spread, totally addicted ! They have cute little trinkets and the staff is amazing, they come to know your name within just a couple visits ! Always feel welcome here! Great place, great product !

I had never seen a smoothie made with grapefruit, so I had to give that baby a try. So glad I did! Made with fresh, organic fruits and veggies, it was a perfectly balanced green smoothie. Plus, I was able to get a shot of nutritious wheat grass. Yum!

Not worth the price. I had the açai bowl, which generally comes with a variety of topping possibilities. Sip only had 3 topping options. Flavors were alright in my açai bowl and my fiance's smoothie bowl, but nothing too spectacular. I haven't tried a juice or a standard smoothie, but I'd say save your money and go to Tropical Smoothie.

I love the product this place has to offer! I bought a couple growlers of juice and was disappointed when I got home to see how much foam they had. Easily missing like 8oz if not more.

So, I'm addicted to this place. I earned my free smoothie within my first week of coming here (buy 10 earn 1). I start with the Rocket Man elixir shot and then into the Strawberry Fields Forever. I haven't had anything but good experiences here. It is rather expensive on the other hand.

I go here every day. Great healthy products, superb customer service. I love the acai bowls, the smoothies are all wonderful, my fave is the La Isla Bonita, I also love the Beet the Blues juice... for new comers the Strawberry Fields is pretty fantastic. I love it here. It's a little expensive, if you do t realize everything is local and organic. I come here to heal and always feel great after leaving. Love them. I wish there was a downtown location!

Very nice funky juice bar. It has a wide variety of smoothies and juices that are made with ingredients you would normally not have and make them taste amazing. If you are going to a juice bar in Grand Rapids, I highly recommend that you choose Sip organic juice bar. P.S. don't stop believing is the best smoothie they have!!

Thought about going back to tell them this in person, but they skipped me in line today when I was waiting to order. Nobody noticed. Nobody asked if I'd been helped. Not a big deal, but I certainly would never go back there again. Maybe it was just an oversight, but maybe it was what it felt like- snobbery and rudeness. Not a nice vibe from this place.

Love this place! By far the very best smoothie place in the whole of GR. Organic ingredients and great options available. My favorite is the rainbow smoothie. Good vibe with good wifi. Gets a bit loud with the blenders but otherwise it's great. Ive been to both locations and I would rate them both as 5 stars. They also offer detox systems of juice and smoothie. I hope to try those out soon.

So far it's he best organic juice bar I ever visited in North America. 5 stars - for the really FRESH made juices & smoothies. 5 stars - for the possibility to customize your drink: you can order your fresh juice or smoothie from the list of available products. Or you can add, subtract, substitute the ingredients of the recommended mixed juices. Simply the best selection of fresh, organic ingredients. Fruits, veggies, berries, herbs... They have it all. 5 stars ( actually they deserve all 10 stars) -  for friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Special thank's for willingness to help with the custom orders. You guys make me feel like @ home :) Food selection - small, but extremely tasty and really, really FRESH. Excellent raw salads, hummus, almond butter. 5 stars - for using the Berkley filter for the water. 5 stars - sparkling clean environment, beautifully decorated. One thing puzzles me - pre-made cold pressed juices. They have it. Some people raving about it. Pre-made and stored in the fridge... Why? Why you need a stored juice if you have the fresh one????? If to choose fresh centrifugal juice, smoothie and pre-made cold pressed juice: the winners are: smoothies and yes, the fresh juice. Not the stored one for several hours, even if it's made on the super expensive Norwalk juicer. As for me - all juices sitting in the fridge more then 30min. - useless. Not so happy with - the sweet bars (Jenergy Bars ) contains agave... WHY???????????? do the management knows that the agave actually worst than sugar and even the high fructose corn syrup???? But, after all - if you have any knowledge of nutrition you will avoid agave and ignore the stored cold press juices. Everything else is great. So, solid 5 stars stays for the best juice/smoothie organic bar. Definitely will come back.

Passing through Grand Rapids for work and came across Sip Organic Juice Bar. It's always a challenge finding healthy places on the go for work travel. I'm so grateful I stopped in. Thank you for for providing healthy and organic food/smoothies.

When I entered I had no idea what to expect. The baristas and prep cook were delightful, no exaggeration. This is one of my new favorite stops in GR! There recipes all had a truly exceptional blend of flavored--nuanced with some very pleasant subtleties. It is clear that great care has been given to combinations and proportions. I was also pleased to discover the degree of freshness of all their produce and the concern they have both for the environment and sustainable health and nutrition. Truly exceptional!

Love the new location! Staff is wonderful and very helpful! Such a cool atmosphere. Product is fresh and very tasty. My favorite spot to be in the Grand Rapids area!

I finally had the opportunity to stop into Sip today. I had the Strawberry Fields smoothie (with pineapple added) and grabbed a Blonde Jenergy Bar. It was a delicious way to start my day. I'll definitely be back.

I always leave this place with a smile on my face and feel great eating right. Great people, product, and space. And always cool clientele which says a lot.

Great stuff but won't be a regular stop for me since I'm not about to plop down $8 per smoothie per day or even per week.

This place is the real deal. It doesn't have a street sign, so it's a little hard to find. But worth it.

I make my own smoothies at home, and have a difficult time finding a place that makes smoothies to live up to my high expectation for fresh made smoothies that don't have their ingredients come out of a bottle. I am in paradise when I am drinking one of their smoothies, and with a beet/ginger salad, that was my lunch with one of their home made energy bars! My three other friends that came with me liked it just as well as I did

This might be my favorite place! Great addition to the area. The staff at Sip is the best in the game! Wide Awake is my favorite! Also now that they carry food they have everything I need!

I love this place! They have very fresh, all organic produce and tons of options. They press everything as you order. The employees were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that it's very expensive, but great for a treat!

I frequently purchase juices, smoothies and elixirs from the cascade location. The product is awesome and in general the service is good but this last visit and the visit before the poor customer service was just unacceptable. "Erin" not sure if I'm spelling her name correct was extremely rude, if not the poorest customer service I've had in a very long time. I'm sure im not the first or the last person that she'll treat poorly, which means, we will most likely be taking our business elsewhere or stick to their downtown location which I've never had an issue with. What a shame that management/owner keeps such an employee around.

I absolutely love their smoothies and juices. If I could afford to have one daily from here I would. The staff is always helpful, but not always cheery. Superbass is my absolute favorite, must try! Expect to spend a little more here, however all of their ingredients are fresh.

Awesome, cool, neat place! I love the color schemes, the people are nice. It is very expensive, so I probably wouldn't go here every day. All sorts of varieties of drinks.

I love that this juice bar is all organic and I understand that makes the prices go up, but this place didn't really blow me away. My smoothie was $10 but I didn't even finish it because it was pretty blah. Not bad but nothing to brag about.

I love starting my morning out with one of Sip's healthy shakes. When you walk in, you can smell the yummy goodness of the fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful.
