Sip Pho is a breezy campus joint dishing out hearty Vietnamese classics like vibrant pho and banh mi, all in a friendly and welcoming vibe.
"Sip Pho—from the team behind Pho Please—offers great pho options in a beautiful and minimalist dining room and patio. The beef pho comes with all the classic options—like rare steak, brisket, tendon, and tripe—or you can get a bowl with a full beef short rib and feel like you’re in an episode of The Flintstones. They make a really tasty banh mi as well, if you’re not feeling particularly brothy." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"Just a few short blocks north of UT, Sip Pho takes the prize for the prettiest dining room in the UT area (there’s also a patio). But it takes more than a beautiful, minimalist space to draw the crowds that Sip Pho does. Don’t be surprised to find a line out the door on weekends—half of them are here for pho and bún bò Huế, and the rest are here for the massive bánh mì. Show up during summer when school is out, and you can skip the wait entirely. Unlike other spots in town, Sip Pho serves its sandwiches on a soft baguette. It’s different, and a little bit sweet, but we like it all the same. Plus the sandwiches here are big enough to make two meals out of. " - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion

"This North Campus Vietnamese restaurant combines great casual service and food with a beautifully designed space. The bún bò huế is one of the best in Austin, a spicy, heartier cousin of pho with thicker noodles, pieces of beef and pork, and is topped with a huge beef rib. Takeout orders can be placed online; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Clara Wang
