Siphon doesn’t need reviews. This is something that doesn’t fit into contemporary dining.
A third generation, 100+ year old restaurant can’t be judged by your average standards.
Everything here is perfected and just-right.
The servers wear white coats with golden buttons and shoulder-epaulettes. The tables are covered in red-white gingham.
Side dishes are served in metal crockery you’ll recognise from your old school or that restaurant you and your parents used to go to.
The staff are super capable, trained and straightforward. I suspect they’ve been here for quite some time.
As for the menu: all classic for fair prices.
I do recommend making a reservation, it gets pretty busy, as this is a very renowned place.
