"A pair of chefs (both called Alexis) have opened this friendly restaurant on the Place du Prado and, in a space with exposed stone and tiled walls, one is in charge of savoury, the other of sweet. A perfect partnership, right from the (delicious) starter that they create in tandem: house-made pâté en croûte, enveloped in a crispy golden pastry – courtesy of the pastry chef – with a tasty, well-seasoned stuffing made by the chef. This is followed by a kefta of pollack, chickpeas, garlic confit and harissa tomato sauce, an interesting reinterpretation of this dish, in a fragrant and cosmopolitan version. The lunch set menu, devised for those on the go, changes every week; for dinner, the menu-carte is more ambitious and evolves with the seasons and the market stalls." - Michelin Inspector

Went here on a tuesday lunch, not very busy but some things weren’t right. To start we sit outside and near the terrace theres some wooden planks that were full of bird feces, and because of that also full of small bugs and mosquitoes, while the food is 50cm away from the same plank. Also the water glass is placed on the table with the rim down, on a terrace, thing that is very unhygienic. The food was very good and i give congrats to the chefs, but the chinaware used to plate is in poor state, 2 out of 3 plates were broken in visible places. The staff is very friendly but could use a uniform for a restaurant thats in a Michelin guide. Overall experience its good , the food deserves the Michelin guide, but thats it.

Overall, the food was good, but honestly nothing to rave about. The menu was an odd combination of ingredients and too many flavors that didn’t go well together. Portions are very small for starter and cheese plate. Restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating, but after 8:30 the restaurant got very busy and chaos started. Service became very slow and the staff were overwhelmed with managing tables. I had to specifically flag the wait staff for my wine which i ordered with my main course, but forgot to bring it 1/2 way through my meal. I had to skip the final dessert since i sat and waited 25 minutes after finishing a tiny cheese plate with 2 small cuts of cheeses as the kitchen was overwhelmed with many orders. By then, i lost my appetite for dessert and asked for check. It wasn’t a great experience for me. If you strive for perfection and you want to keep your status as a premium restaurant with high prices, i suggest adding some more staff to manage the proper service people deserve. It felt very disorganized and the restaurant wasn't well prepared for the night. Overall, i think it was decent, but not a gastronomical experience or worthy of Michelin mention of any kind.

A bit of a foodie, so discovering Siprès during a little trip to Lyon, was a surprise! It’s new, run by two passionate young chefs and their lunchtime menu is excellently prepared and served local and Mediterranean dishes. Great value for money, excellent local wines from small selected producers. What’s not to like?

What a nice surprise. Searching for restaurants in holiday season I stumbled upon Siprès and it turned out to be such a positive surprise. The ambiance is charming, the food was super flavourful (highlight to the polenta and blette dish, oh my gosh) and the service was friendly and attentive. Really suberbe!

Excellent food but too pricy for the quantity served… Updated the rating after reading owner's reply. It is worth experiencing the restaurant dishes. I maintain though that l am not ready to spend that much for lunches.
