2024. There's lots of access down to the river's edge. Public washrooms are available and seem fairly accessible. Free parking. Many BBQ pits for big groups and lots of picnic tables which you can reserve. Large, open areas, shady seating areas, with a nice playground tucked away in a cool, shaded spot. So many huge, old, wise trees to hug. Well kept paths with comfortable lookouts over the beautiful North Saskatchewan river. Lots of happy dogs playing in the water. Boat launch available. It's a comfortable stroll over the Buena Vista footbridge to Hawrelak Park (currently closed), then further on, some medium challenging slopes around the golf course to Emily Murphy Park, which also has public washrooms. Except for one short, steep dip, E-bikes would be fun, an E-scoot might be more of a challenge on the riverside pathway.
