Great wine, delicious food, amazing view, and friendly staff. What's not to like??
First, the wine, because that is probably what brought you here. Tastings are Th-M until 5pm, and they do things a little differently here. Presented with a detailed wine menu (with on point taste profiles), you will select 3 wines of your choosing. I personally like the build-your-own-adventure approach, but if you're feeling overwhelmed or having trouble choosing, your host will be able to make some recommendations for you.
Next, the food. What a treat to have a full menu available for your wine tasting! A rarity for most wineries. The kitchen remains open until 7, and you can still buy a bottle (or a glass?) to accompany your meal. So many tantalizing options, and many are vegetarian and GF. The roasted beets and burrata board (Tri-color roasted beets and Burrata cheese drizzled with olive oil, herbed sea salt, seasonings and micro greens. Served with a French demi baguette or GF crackers) was excellent. The Medici pizza (San Marzano tomato sauce, Mozzarella, and fresh basil chiffonade) was simple but tasty. They have a wood fired pizza oven and make legit Napolitano style pizzas here.
A great setting to enjoy wine and a bite to eat. And if you're lucky enough to come before sunset, you'll be treated to a gorgeous view of the lake herself.
