Sirena Morena

Visited this place on our trip to Cancun. We were blown away and went twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. The ambience is amazing and it feels like you are in a jungle. The food is delicious. Would highly recommend!

Not bad, but I can confirm from other reviews that the food is under seasoned. The sandwich needed salt for sure. The oatmeal was nice but needed more sweetness. The golden latte had zero sweetness. They don't offer agave with your hot drink. You have to ask for it. Better if they served your hot drink with a side of agave if they don't sweeten it. And better if they serve your main with salt if they don't salt it at all. Chai latte was nice.

Excellent food and atmosphere, the back patio is a beautiful garden with lots of green plants. The service is great and personal. Their vegan creations are well balanced and delicious. One thing to mention is that the restaurant has a mini store where you can find vegan products to make your own creations, such as tofu, vegan chorizo, cheese, spices etc. Also beauty products that are environmental and animal friendly. Excellent options for breakfast and lunch.

Excellent vegan restaurant with many gluten-free options. The courtyard in the back is an absolute highlight and super relaxing! The food was flavorful, fresh, and delicious and the staff knowledgeable and very friendly. I will for sure come back!

The food here was unreal. Absolutely delicious! We also had Chai Tea and the cold brew coffee and they were spectacular! The atmosphere and decorations are super charming and make you feel very cozy. It feels like a place you could hang out for a long time with friends and never notice the time passing! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the foods and patient when I was speaking Spanish (it's a 2nd language for me) as well as speaking English well when I didn't know the word for what I was looking for! I will definitely be coming back here again!

Delicious, vegan/vegetarian food. There were so many things on the menu we wanted to try. We got the mushroom ceviche, guac, enchiladas and tostadas. All yummy but the ceviche was our fave. They also have vegan hot cakes which we will be back for. Beautiful setting too in a leafy courtyard

Outstanding vegan food and drinks! Their taco trio was the best I’ve ever had. The tortilla was thick and rich, and the fillings were delicious. I loved the mole and vegan cream.

I flew in from New York and found this place. The food was really good and fresh, the drinks are organic and freshly made. I felt like i was in heaven. Then they had a playlist if 1970-75 R&B music. The staff ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Service is fast and friendly. You feel like you are eating something delicious not healthy. Healthy is just a bonus! Cool reggae vibes as you dine Al fresco.

Nice cute place. Friendly staff and cute organic shop attached. They are not completely vegan though and food is just ok. But the ambiance is nice.

Another vegan spot FTW! A bit hidden, easy to drive by, but once your find it you're transported into a garden oasis. A patio covered with trees, is a perfect spot to enjoy anything of the menu. My spouse and I ordered ceviche, protein salad, nuggets, ice cream, banana muffin, and a vita juice. The ceviche was light and fresh. A different spin for sure. 8/10. Personal preference would have been more juice and spicier. The nuggets were not at all what we expected. Super crispy and the sauce was amazing. 9/10. My protein salad, even the half order was more than filling. The olives pushed it over the edge. 10/10. The desserts, wow wow. My spouse doesn't have a sweet tooth, but loved the muffin and ice cream. As did I. I would defiantly recommend this spot and if I can make it back before I head home I will.

I wasn't expecting to come back and find more deliciousness! Although I was sad that the Friday Taco option wasn't available on Saturday, it forced me to try something new, which turned out to be another tasty item that I'm very glad to have discovered, the vegan burger. I almost didn't get it because I usually don't like vegan options that attempt to replace a non vegan meal, but this is wonderful, not some traditional soy patty, which I don't eat. Also, it's not one big barely chewable portabello mushroom. I think the sweet rajas and guacamole with mango not only make it that much tastier, but should be the chasers of each bite, in order to have the full rich experience, otherwise they get drowned out with the other ingredients and they're not as tasty. Follow these instructions and enjoy! I also got the tasty wrap and the carrot juice.

All Vegan/Vegetarian joint! We absolutely loved this place, enjoying equally the dining experience as well as the food! Sirena Morena is a two-in-one, a shop with many healthy options and a dine-in restaurant. This was our first stop in Cancun's downtown area, away from the Hotel Zone and beach. We quickly found out that prices are a bit lower, and the food portion is much more significant, lol. Buying too much food, not sure if what we ordered would be enough, boy were we wrong. We had: -vegan nuggets (appetizer) -raw rolls (appetizer) -Sirena special Tasty! As mentioned, this is a vegetarian/vegan spot that full of many many options. COVID NOTES ***CANCUN & area was phenomenally incredible as for Covid. We were super impressed all around on how business' provided Covid safety protocols, and masks were worn indoors and outdoors by locals!*** -Hand Sanitizer provided. -Indoor/Outdoor dining was available. -The order was effortless, quick, & accurate. -Excellent customer service, masks were required, staff wore masks and gloves. -No issues at all. Thank you, Sirena Morena, for having many vegan options!

An absolutely lovely vegan spot in Cancun. Peaceful vibes and refreshing and tasty food/drink options. So happy to have found Sirena Morena!

Really lovely vibey spot. Had a nice fresh breakfast out on the back patio amongst the greenery. I went on my last day but I definitely would have gone back. Recommend the pancakes!

If you feel wasted after eating so many tacos that you lost track, Sirena Morena is here to reset your body. Like seriously. I felt refreshed after one meal that I decided to come here again during my 1 week in Cancun. I love the atmosphere of the place. It definitely doesn't reflect local authenticity yet it doesn't scream tourism either. When you walk in, there's a large patio/backyard/garden where there is outdoor seating. It definitely feels open and relaxed. Indoor seating (and the nice bathrooms) are vibrant too. - Matcha Smoothie: Yum. Not sweet but not bitter, which means it's just down-to-earth matcha. - Mixed Salad: This is my absolute favorite dish. It's a medley of vegetables (spinach, tomato, cucumber, carrots) with cashews and jamaica (balsamic + hibiscus) dressing. So healthy, filling, and delicious! - Green bowl: Kinda like an acai bowl without the acai. It's really refreshing and yummy. From what I remember, there is sunflower seed, coconut, banana, and strawberry. - Sirena Special: This was delicious too! We had this for dinner and thought their apple curry (similar to japanese curry but less tumeric) warmed us up! The quinoa was also super fluffy and light! This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Cancun! The waiters are also nice. It's tourist-friendly, as they accept credit card and provide English menus upon request.

Great vegan restaurant. The options looked very solid. After a night of drinking, came for some hot cakes and they hit the spot. Here for a week and I'll be back!

This vegan restaurant is amazing! Even my meat eating boyfriend loves it. They have a wide variety of items on the menu. From breakfast, bowls, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, fresh juices, smoothies, desserts..... Gluten free bread, Matcha... all the things you may be missing from home. The staff is great. Nice patio with some shade off the Main Street a bit. They even have a natural/organic's market at the front of the building with lots of very impressive healthy things to eat, drink, wear and use. Very excited to find this!!!

The food here is excellent, the ambience is mellow and the service great. The best veggie food we had on our trip. Only thing that could have been better was the chocolate smoothie which was more like chocolate milk. We had the veggie burger, hummus and the enchiladas and they were all yummy.

Permanently closed due to Covid. Yelp needs to update info. We spent a lot of time wandering on the street until we saw the sign on the darkened door. Fortunately neighboring tiger restaurant open with excellent empanadas saved the day.

We found this place on yelp while we had one night in Cancun. So glad we chose it! It's a cute restaurant and the food is insanely good. The staff is really nice and accommodating. The prices are totally reasonable. We would go back in a heart beat. The entrance to the restaurant is through an alley lookers right of their store front. The store looked closed and we almost missed the restaurant entrance.

A little haven for vegan and vegetarians in Cancun. The French toast was bomb! Would get it again in a heartbeat ---perfect combination of textures from the crisp caramelized cinnamon edges, topped with finely chopped pecans, to its warm gooey inside. No syrup necessary as it is lightly sweetened and paired with fresh fruit! Boyfriend ordered the farmhouse ciabatta with asparagus, egg salad and greens. This was paired with a mildly spicy Serrano pepper dressing that was totally money. It's a bit cooler this time of year ("winter" in Cancun) --so we got golden milk hot and it was the perfect pairing for our meal.

Absolutely an epic vegan experience! To look at the scenery alone you'll see the authentic depiction of Mexico from the layout of the whimsical garden, to the quizzical little lizard scaling down the tree to check you out. But if that wasn't enough, the food was outstanding! Completely fresh and authentically prepared, as well as the perfect picturesque culinary experience. I had the jackfruit tostadas which were insanely awesome and my partner had the Buddha bowl that she could not finish so I took the pleasure in that task. Both meals were filling. We also had a cold pressed coffee to finish. Our tab was around US$14. I honestly feel like I'm in a vegan Willy Wonka with this restaurant. It's absolutely a VEGAN wonderland!

Only got to eat here once but it was a five star worthy experience. I got a sandwich and my partner got a wrap. They were both excellent and ragh came with fresh side salads and a ridiculously good sauce. I can't wait to go back to cancun so i can return to this restaurant. The restaurant is tucked behind their store, which looked filled with great stuff.

When two teens, one NOT vegetarian, loves the food...you know it is above the rest. The courtyard dining, friendly service and oh so fresh foods with amazing taste combinations will bring us back here even when we are in Playa. Separate menus in Spanish and English helped us practice our language skills. My 19 year old daughter had truffle mushroom risotto, my son and I had the protein salad and my husband had the vegetarian sandwich on whole wheat. His came with delicious condiments and sweet potato fries! Delicious! Friendly. Unique plants. A winner!

I really like this restaurant. The service is really good, the atmosphere is really good and of course, the food is really good. I like having the option of being an air conditioning or being out in the patio with the beautiful trees. Gluten free folks can order sandwiches. The juice called El Digestivo was wonderful. I liked the Fruit Jar with chia pudding. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful little hidden gem I stumbled across on my way to dinner elsewhere - decided to give it a try and I'm super glad I did! Vegetable rolls were amazing and HUGE, coffee was delicious and the back courtyard is so lovely I sat out there for hours working on my laptop! Will be back! Thanks :)

I can't decide which is more aesthetically pleasing at Sirena Morena - the food or the decor. Suffice it to say, the entire experience was a feast for my eyes AND for my stomach. As a native of Los Angeles, we have many vegan and vegetarian options to choose from, but i was astounded to find a restaurant in Cancun that competes with any of them. Regrettably, i was only able to enjoy one meal at Sirena Morena, but i will most certainly be returning with my fellow Angeleno 'foodies' very soon. I expect they will be as blown away as i was with this charming venue. Keep up the great work, Sirena Morena!

Absolutely delicious vegan and vegetarian food- rivals the restaurants we are used to in New York- which says a lot for a vegan spot in Cancun (when you say 'vegan' here people look at you like you're crazy) Setting and service also excellent. We had dinner here and felt like we had truly found a 'local' spot.

A perfect place for two vegans on date night! The setting is ever so pretty and the food is beyond delicious! Especially loved the raw food rolls and the "golden milk" drink! Good, friendly service and healthy, tasty food and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely go back!

Came in worried that the reviews overhyped this place, but it exceeded expectations! The only thing I would be careful of is that they don't sell bottled water, but we had some from the convenience store next door so it wasn't a problem. My family and I loved the risotto, the burger, and the broccoli soup, but my favorite thing of all was the bread!! It was all very tasty and at a great price. We can't wait to go back!

This restaurant was amazing. The food was super tasty and healthy. They have delicious fresh juices as well. This place has a homey, jungly and friendly vibe. There is a health food store attached at the front of the restaurant, so be aware that the restaurant is located in the back when trying to find this place. My boyfriend and I came here later in the evening and had great service. Alex, the waiter, was awesome. He was very helpful in giving us food recommendations as well as travel suggestions. We ended up taking food to go for the next day since we liked it so much. Definitely recommend the wraps if you're having lunch. The bowls are great as well. Coming here is a must if you're looking for great vegan options! Will not regret!

Food preparation is excellent. The way it is presented is good. Delicious. Friendly people, they help you select dishes and are patient if you have questions. I like the seating ambience.
