Wonderful stay with real old‑world charm. Amazing hospitality from Mr Okay and excellent tours—don’t miss the food tour. He even stopped at a football shop to buy souvenirs for my boys. We loved the interconnecting family room — perfect for our stay. Great Turkish breakfasts and afternoon tea, plus a fantastic family‑friendly hammam. Staff were super thoughtful and packed sandwiches for our early flight. Great old‑city location — we’ve already recommended it to family and friends!

Fantastic Boutique Hotel with the Perfect Location!★★★★★We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is ideal – you can walk to the Sultanahmet sights in minutes, yet the hotel itself is on a quiet, charming street. The boutique design is beautiful and full of character, making it a really special place to return to each day. The room was comfortable, stylish, and very clean. A fantastic bonus was the beautiful traditional hamam – it was the perfect, authentic way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering great tips for local restaurants. The breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and convenient Istanbul experience.

My experience was mixed. Pros: The hotel is well-managed, with comfortable rooms, excellent beds, and well-maintained fixtures. Its location is very convenient, close to the main sights, and the Turkish breakfast buffet was excellent. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The rooms are not carpeted, so noise from guests above—like chairs being moved—can be noticeable. Adding felt pads to chair legs could help improve comfort for downstairs guests. My room faced the hotel’s ventilation system rather than a view. I also experienced a less-than-welcoming interaction with one breakfast staff member, who appeared rude toward Asian guests and had an attitude when I asked for coffee. At this time, I would not recommend this hotel for East Asian or Southeast Asian guests.

The stay at sirkeci mansion hotel was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to visit Istanbul. The tram station shows up pretty much right next to the hotel, and you are one stop away from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Topikapi Palace. We also went on the bosphorus cruise which was only two stops away. For the price, you absolutely cannot beat the value that staying at this hotel gives. The tram is very cheap, and being so close probably saved us hundreds in cabs which tend to be quite expensive in this area. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent and we were provided incredible service. There are so many options and they always provide great service! The hotel managers were also incredibly helpful. Whenever we had any questions, they would always guide us in the right direction for how to get to places, where to go to get the best out of our experience, and restaurant recommendations. They even go above and beyond to provide a pamphlet with all the tourist sites info you could ever want, and even make your reservations for you! Last but not least, we were very grateful for the hotel providing a wheelchair for my mother. They did not ask us for any money for this, and we were incredibly grateful to have received this as it made the trip much easier for my mother who is unable to walk far distances. Thank you and if we ever stop by Istanbul again, this is definitely the place we will stay at!

We stayed at Sirkeci Mansion Hotel with my daughter, and our experience was truly wonderful. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, which made exploring Istanbul incredibly easy and enjoyable.||The staff were outstanding—wonderful, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The manager deserves special praise: extremely kind, approachable, and present throughout the day and even early in the morning. Every question was answered with patience and genuine care, which made us feel very safe and welcomed.||The cleanliness was impeccable. The bed linens were perfect—white as snow, elegant, and beautifully ironed, reflecting great attention to detail. The food was abundant and delicious, and the complimentary afternoon tea and sandwiches were such a pleasant and thoughtful touch.||The hotel itself is romantic and nostalgic, full of charm and warmth, clearly created with an individual and personal touch. It felt more like a home than a hotel.||An unusually pleasant experience that we will remember fondly. Highly recommended, and we would happily return.

My wife and I stayed at Sirkeci Mansion Hotel for 14 nights November 2025. It was our first time visiting Turkey. Here is my review:||1. Customer service was top notch. |Okay is the manager of the Hotel and he is super accommodating and helpful. He also offers a few few tours of Istanbul ( see their Website) which where informative, interesting and fun. Beside Okay, Envers(another from desk manager) was very helpful and friendly with many questions and concerns we had. Beside those two gentlemen there are two other men that man the front desk, I cannot remember their names, but they were very pleasant, helpful, polite and friendly.||The Breakfast staff (Fatima and others ) that manage the buffet breakfast were very service oriented and friendly, really pleasant people to be around and worked so hard to make sure the breakfast experience was top notch.||The rest of staff , cleaners, maintenance people were friendly polite and helpful.||2. Buffet Breakfast|Breakfast was a delight with a great variety of breakfast food ( both hot and cold , eggs, cold cuts, various cheeses, bread , pastries , fruit, olives etc.)|The coffee was good and the fruit juices were of a high quality.||3. Location|My wife and I love walking and exploring. The location was perfect near many of the sites we wanted to see. The Hotel is in a relatively quiet area ( compared to other Hotels we saw). The Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and properly maintained||There are many other positive things I could say. Have stayed here many times since 2011. It’s the same, small wonderful hotel, with many of the same delightful staff. Located just off the Gulhane tram stop, it’s on an essentially pedestrian street with various types of shops. The hotel is well maintained with clean, comfortable rooms. The buffet breakfast is served with many types of food, Turkish and continental. ||||No matter the superlatives describing the hotel in other reviews, the best aspect of the hotel is the kind, professional staff. There are none better. My sincere thanks to each for their warm hospitality. ||I could not imagine staying anywhere else in Istanbul.

We had the best stay at the Sirkeci Mansion! I am just sad we couldn't stay longer! It was so close to many of the sites we wished to visit in Istanbul. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. We appreciated having adjoining rooms while traveling with our adult children. The breakfast was outstanding, with so many choices. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The best part was the interaction with Mr. Okay, the hotel manager, who treated us like family. We loved taking his culinary and historic workshop tours. He helped us plan an outing on the Bosphorus and then a return on land, made reservations for us at a hammam, and recommended a whirling dervish experience which was very moving. He shared personal insights into the history and culture of Istanbul. But the most fun for our soccer-loving adult children was that he helped them buy tickets to a soccer match involving his favorite local team in a special championship league match, and offered to have them travel with him to and from the match! It was such a special experience for them as the excitement of the fans was off the charts. The only sad part was that we could not stay longer! We definitely recommend staying at the Sirkeci Mansion.
