The 38 Essential Manila Restaurants

"A meal sold at any one of Makati’s tin-colored jollijeeps (food carts named for both the beloved chain Jollibee and jeepneys, decorated jeeps used for public transit) can be as low as P85 (about $1.44). For the average worker on a budget, these trailers are some of the more affordable options in the expensive business district. The most popular jollijeep can be found along Rada Street, with a laminated sign that reads “Sisig sa Rada” (Sisig at Rada). The stall’s version of sisig is a simple variation of the traditional Pampanga version, mixed with onions, peppers, and an egg, and served over rice. Lines for Sisig sa Rada can get notoriously long during the lunch rush, so best to go during off-hours." - Toni Potenciano

It is one of the top sisig Eatery in manila. The bosses, the mother cooks herself with her own traditional receipts. The sisigs tastes better if u ask for it to be heated up on the spot. The egg with the sizzling pork on rice make the taste a hundred times better The pork soup is complimentary and tastey Friendly Hawkers who chatted with clients Should come try if nearby. Not open on weekend though

FINALLY tried Sisigsarada at Rada, Legazpi Village, Makati! Originally planning to grab some lunch at a restaurant, but Hubby and I stumbled upon this spot after gym and I'm so glad we did! The sisig was quickly prepared on-set served with fried rice (but you can also opt in for plain rice) and there’s free “nilagang baboy” hot soup! They also features a varied menu with different viands available. Feel free to explore their options and find your favorite. (Will definitely try lechon kawali or pork liempo) What impressed me the most was the serving and the very affordable price, for only ₱226 (total of two meals + extra sunny side up eggs) for a filling meal! The staff were friendly and accommodating, but please expect to stand while eating. That’s fine by me! I envy Makati employees because they can just always go down during their lunch time to get affordable meals from multiple “Jollijeeps.” If you're in Makati, definitely give Sisigsarada a try! I will be back for sure! Hungry for more! *Pro tip:* They're only open on weekdays, so plan your visit accordingly!

If you need a Sisig fix and are in the area. Taste and texture is very good to excellent Serving is small and egg to bulk up. But still small. Price us also very small, P95 w rice. Due to Pork prices up, which probably evident with small serving.

Same sisig goodness as 20 years ago. Plus such a pleasure chatting with OG Aling Alice. They have frozen goods for sale now and engage 'em up at their facebook page.

The sisig was has good portion while also tasting good. Its price is not bad and budget friendly. The sisig is nostalgic and has a meaty taste, it is not the same with the regular sisig stalls and for the taste it is 10/10. Would go back here again, the service is fast but the staff were not that friendly. It’s understandable since it was 35 degrees celsius that day.

Food is good for the price. Bought Sisig a la carte for 75 and it’s very tasty. Slightly sweet and spicy. The portion was ok for the price so I wish I had bought more. I also got 4pcs lumpia for 35. Siksik yung filling and hindi lasang extenders. No complaints about the food. What I think they could improve on is having a visible menu with prices, even just on the side. Would make it easier for us customers to decide what we want and prepare the amount, and it would make ordering time faster since we don’t need to ask the cook about what things are and how much they cost before we decide

I’ve been visiting this Jollyjeep since 2013. Their food, especially their beef tapa and sisig are amazing. The taste is 101% consistent, delicious and affordable. Their sisig, they’ll cook it when you order, that is how fresh they prepare it. In my honest opinion, Sisig sa Rada street has the best Sisig in Luzon. Highly recommended. I wont get tired in eating this dish.

As a big fan of sisig, I had to try this, which I finally did. I was surprised their own version of sisig was really delicious! It’s spicy good. I didn't even use the mayo they serve it with because it's already good even without it.
