Sistahs' Sweets

I discovered Sistahs’ Sweets on TikTok and was really looking forward to visiting. While the space is charming and the service was warm and welcoming, I personally found the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. I expected the premium pricing and was happy to support it, but I was surprised by the additional upcharge of a dollar for a medium (16oz), which brought my matcha to $8.50. The matcha was pleasant, though not outstanding enough for me to justify the cost as a matcha lover. I was also curious about the cupcakes, but there was a slight off-putting smell when I walked in that made me hesitant to try them. While I completely understand and fully support small businesses, this one just isn’t the right fit for me. That said, I can see why it has gained popularity online, and I wish them continued success!

Absolutely phenomenal treats here!!!! This is my favorite place for a cupcakes in Baltimore. You must try their tres leches cupcakes. Their strawberry matcha has pieces of real strawberry fruit in the drink - which is unbeatable and the best I have had ever! I wish they were closer to Fed Hill/Fell's point/Inner Harbor so I could enjoy them more often.

Let me start by saying they exceeded my expectations! Anyone that tells you anything negative about this place or products is not well versed in the matcha world or have a mature pallet. This blueberry cheesecake matcha should be outlawed for how delicious is was. I truly was ready to get another one and I never feel that way when I go to Dunkin or Starbucks, Never! It has pieces of cheesecake in it. It wasn’t too sweet just right. The cupcakes are moist and so delicious. They are decadent. Can’t wait to go back and try the mango sticky rice matcha before they change the flavors for the month. The customer service here was 10/10! Everyone was very friendly and professional. They were giving service with a smile and the vibes were everything! I sat outside afterwards since it was nice weather. They had benches and music playing which added to the nice vibes. So happy to support my Sistah’s! ✊🏽 I will be back again and again.

Amazing new cupcake store local to East Baltimore. This was an awesome find! The cupcake was very moist and delicious. It was not over powering or too sweet. I don't like sugary frosting at all but this frosting was fresh and amazing! They obviously make their own. It does not taste out of a can or pre-made at all. Very, very good! I don't eat cupcakes or sweets often at all. I was just craving one today and OMG...it was so good!!! 🤤🤤☺️ The customer service is excellent and with a smile. This is definitely my new sneak and sweet place. Definitely worth getting in trouble to eat! 🧁🤣 From a house flipper, they did an excellent job on the renovations. Very tasteful, comfortable and relaxing. Music was at a comfortable level and not blasting. Awesome.

I tried Sistahs Sweets recently and ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha. It was very yummy! Definitely a treat if you’re looking to indulge. The service was friendly, and I liked that they offer a wide variety of matcha mix in options. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

It was a adorable little shop, the staff was so friendly and their brand is so perfect. They really lean into it. When I was leaving, I was told to have a sweet day which is so cute. The dessert is amazing absolutely get the banana pudding. I tried the original this time. I’m planning on trying the other flavors. The cupcakes are great. The frosting has so much flavor and tastes exactly like what they say. It’s street parking, the inside has a few chairs, but if it’s busy, I would plan to take it to go. It’s a small bakery, so it’s a little warm inside but makes sense since they’re baking all day. Premium prices so five dollars for one cupcake but well worth it. They’re a great treat.

A friend and I went here today and loved it! I got a banana pudding matcha that was DELICIOUS and a couple different cupcakes. The atmosphere was adorable and the owners are very “sweet”! Can’t wait to go again.

Absolutely delicious! The treat was fresh, perfectly sweet, and beautifully made. You can really taste the quality in every bite. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
