Google
Absolutely delicious and so affordable! I was expecting smaller portions because of the price, but we ended up with plenty of leftovers. The owner shared that the recipes come from his great-great-grandmother in Sicily, and it’s easy to see why they’ve been here since 1957. And yes the prices really are that good!

Google
It’s a wonderful restaurant! Their tiramisu is not only affordable but absolutely delicious. My daughter loves their pizza, and I’m a big fan of their pasta — both are full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Fabulous hole in the wall! Seating area is small and dinner rush fills up really quick so best to call ahead to make sure table availability. The bruschetta is abundant with flavor and comes with a lot to share, definitely my favorite appetizer. I recommend trying your pasta with their vodka sauce, it tastes unlike any other vodka sauce I’ve had before and adds a nice garlicky kick to your entree. If you’re feeling a pizza, I like the margherita and there’s a bunch of basil so don’t worry about there only being one leaf on each slice. The gelato is sweet and dense and a nice way to cool off the night. Pistachio and almond I recommend. Staff is friendly and the manager loves to come around to talk with customers. Wish this place had more seating because everyone deserves to try this place.

Google
We love this place. Food is SO good. Staff is all friendly. As a frugal relatively healthy eater, SS has become our “treat yourself” date night meal both because of price and calories. We like eating outside. Garlic bread is so tasty too. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
I came just as they were about to close and rather than turn me away they said "we'll serve you so long aa you don't mind us cleaning around you." I said no problem it will remind me of home. Since this was my first time here I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs (made with 100% pure beef). I always judge authentic Italian restaurants by their spaghetti and meatballs. If they can't get that traditional right then fuggitaboutit! It was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were seasoned perfectly and the meat sauce was homemade and think. I had to pack the rest of it to go because no way could I finish it all. There was a lovely couple oohing and aahing over their dish "olive oil and roasted garlic over angel hair" that its on my must try when I return. The couple said to order it kinda dry on the oil and half the garlic and its perfect. This is a small, cozy family owned business with owners that have a heart of gold. They truly love their customers. The garlic bread is also tasty.

Google
ordered cajun chicken n shrimp, was not same as last time, no creamy sauce and a smaller portion, what happened? I drove from riverside and was disappointed on my birthday the photo i included is what it looked like last time, will think twice before coming back

Michelle B.

Google
Ordered takeout - Overpriced, quality was horrible, manager is rude to her employees in front of customers. Ordered a sandwhich, taste was horrible, we ended up throwing the food away. We would be up for giving this place one more try, but because of the managers treatment to her employees. We will not be going back.

Google
The garlic bread was day(s) old , black and inedible (see pic). Mozzarella stick was edible. Pesto sauce/olive oil pasta was good. The garlic bread should not have been served to customers by any professional cook and/or owner. For that, won’t be visiting again.

Yelp
I love this place! We as a family was visited 4 times ordering around the same foods, the service felt better the more we went. We will be visiting again soon, thanks!

Yelp
Came here for my birthday dinner. My friends arrived before me and were sitting at a table outside so I never went inside but they told me it was jarringly small. There were two or three tables outside. Our server was really great and patient because my friends and I immediately got caught up in chatting and celebrating ME that he came around to take our orders several times and we were unprepared every time. They're known for their vodka sauce so my friend got the penne with that and she added a bunch of stuff to it. I got the eggplant parm with vodka sauce and regular marinara on my noodles and my third friend got the Cajun chicken and shrimp with asparagus. We also had bread, calamari, and shared their top pizza that started with an A but i can't remember right now. I thought all the food was awesome. The pizza was especially a favorite for everyone. My friend was a little disappointed her vodka sauce seemed to break and separate and it definitely had a different taste and texture than mine which was weird. The only thing I would have changed is I wish they served cocktails!

Yelp
My husband and I decided to take a drive we live in Riverside we drove out the 91 freeway around 5:00pm to put some miles on my husband's truck we decided to get something to eat so we exited imperial highway and we were going to go to panda express but we notice Sister Sicily and my husband love's a good meatball sandwich so I said let's try Sister Sicily we walked in And was not greeted at all we were asked (what can I help you with?) WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH! So I said are we allowing to eat here And the lady says oh never said yes you are she just said come this way so We followed and we were seated yes mind you it's extremely small inside but it didn't matter. She never said anything else or gave us menu's she seemed upset that we wanted to eat There a young man comes over and introduced himself and gave us the drink menu ask if we wanted water he gave us bread also then he came with the menu's after we order drinks we ordered we also ask to use restroom which is behind some white dingy curtains our appetisers we're good drinks were good I noticed the lady telling a couple about the picture on the wall above them I guess it was her and her sister's we were served our food meatball sandwich and I had lasagna the young man asked if I wanted parmesan I said yes he never Came back with it so I didn't ask again He eventually came back and asked if my husband wanted another beer but didn't ask me the lady finally comes over and asked me if I wanted more wine then the guy asked if we're done with our appetisers which it was just one wing I said sure take it with the bread we just took our time basically I wanted to stay as long as I possibly could cause we wanted traffic to ease Up before heading back I did notice other people come in and once they saw us they didn't stay which I don't blame them I wouldn't want to seat Next to a dingy curtain leading to the restroom either. But our food was pretty good and for the record if you Haven't caught on we are humans and we have a darker shade of color On our skin I just wished we were greeted differently than, WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH We want to eat we're not homeless looking for a meal how sad and to think I believe Henry from KTLA mentioned this place before on the morning news if I'm not mistaken. They won't have to worry about us Coming back anymore thank you.

Yelp
Saige and Cade are always super helpful! The food is yummy and always consistent I love the artichoke chicken pasta and chicken piccata! I would recommend this to anyone looking for yummy affordable food and to anyone that likes large portions of pasta

Yelp
Fourth time visiting! Amazing food, service, and music as always. 100% recommended especially on a rainy day :)

Yelp
Had friends from Whittier over Sat night 12/6 and did delivery order of their family special meal for $36.00. Pizza and spaghetti were good, the problem was the order was missing the garlic bread and salad dressing for what was a quite small and somewhat warm salad. Would perhaps very cautiously order again someday.

Yelp
This was a cozy and relaxing spot for a dinner date after rotations. Tucked between Sushi Noguchi and Stater Bros in Yorba Linda, it's unassuming from the outside but has a warm, intimate vibe inside. Seating only runs along one wall indoors and was already full (this is a Thursday at 6pm) so we sat outside. Fortunately the weather was nice, but I can see seating becoming an issue during dinner rush. Portions are generous and satisfying. We split an appetizer, salad, and entree, and still had leftovers. * Meatball Appetizer: These are the same meatballs served with the spaghetti. We actually ordered them after our entree because we wanted more meatballs with our spaghetti. I like the plating of this dish and the looks added to how appetizing it was. * Caesar Salad: A solid portion with plenty of croutons and Parmesan. I appreciated that the dressing was served on the side so we could adjust to taste. * Spaghetti and Meatballs: This is your classic and hearty spaghetti and meatballs dish. It comes with 2 meatballs which are really large and the dish itself is big enough to share. You can tell the meatballs are homemade, which added a nice touch. * Garlic Bread: This comes with dining in and was one of my favorites. It was crispy, and you could taste the garlic and parmesan. Our server (Suzy, I think? Sorry!) was super kind and attentive. She helped us navigate the menu and checked in often. We had a lot of questions about portion sizing (trying to strategize what we wanted to split) and she was so patient and kind answering all of our questions. Overall, it's a solid choice for a casual meal. Nothing particularly stood out as a must-try, but everything was well done and the atmosphere was welcoming. Would return for a relaxed dinner.

Yelp
Service was immaculate. Food was delicious. I tried the vodka pasta with sausage. So good so much flavor. The Alfredo's pretty good as well. Personally it tastes like home cooking. Definitely coming back. They gave me fresh out the oven garlic bread. The server heard it was my birthday and gave me complementary dessert. So sweet

Yelp
I love this restaurant. It is a private little gem. I had the delicious chicken limone. Our friends had calzone, eggplant Parmesan and chicken with artichoke - all fabulous! We all took at least half of the very large portions home. Our waiter, Cade, was the best. Very attentive with a great sense of humor. Even though sister Sicily is quite a ways from where I live, we will definitely return!! Five stars!!

Yelp
Came here for dinner and did not disappoint. We had made a reservation since their website suggests we do. We arrived early and we were seated right away . Keep in mind there is a few tables outside and about 5 tables inside. It's a small space. For starters we ordered drinks I got a glass of their house red wine and my husband got an 808 beer. Then we ordered an appetizer which was their Italian bruschetta. It comes with 6 small toasts and bruschetta on top drizzled with a balsamic vinegar. It was delicious the bruschetta is finely diced and had the right amount of garlic. Then for main entrees we ordered the hot honey pizza and we got some penne pasta with an olive oil and garlic sauce with a touch of tomato sauce and it had shrimp. The pizza was good, it had a hint of sweetness and spicy with the hot honey and it also had vodka sauce and pepperoni. I especially liked the pasta because the sauce was not thick and heavy and it had plenty of garlic. It was quite different but good. We will definitely be back to try some more food options.

Yelp
Our experience with the service was not great. We were sat outside, along with one other party, but the waiters focus was mostly on the indoor diners. They also completely forgot one of our plates, which they were quick to try and resolve. However, the food was so excellent that we can almost ignore our unfortunate experience. Not to mention the super soft garlic bread! I think we just happened to have a bad experience, but I would definitely dine there again. It seems like takeout is very popular here too.

Yelp
Came here to try Italian food after having seen the recommendation. The food was A-okay! I ordered the penne the sausage and it was good. We also ordered bread and it was good. I had wine, which was okay, and the service was also good. The space is quite small, so if you plan on coming at a popular time, I'd recommend making a reservation. +1 point for donating food for Thanksgiving meals

Yelp
Delicious food and good family owned service! Intimate inside seating- make a reservation!

Yelp
This is our family's favorite restaurant. Good service and delicious food , clean environment and nice music. My kids loved the linguini . They gave free bread before the main food .

Yelp
We came to Sister Sicily to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday, and everything was perfect! The food was excellent great flavor and generous portions that left everyone happy. Our server, AJ, was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome throughout the evening. It really added to the special occasion. Overall, wonderful service and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Wanted a pasta place in the neighborhood that we haven't tried yet. Found this on Yelp with decent ratings. Small cute place in a grocery strip mall. Customer service was good and food came out in timely. We ordered calamari, Cesar salad, tour of Italy and chicken picatta. The Cesar salad came with dressing on side. I prefer it be mixed ahead of time. The dressing was good. The calamari and marina dipping sauce was good. The tour of Italy was delicious and you can taste the freshness. The chicken picatta with angel hair came out hot and savory. We'd definitely will come back.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place so I could return, as it's so close to home. Unless your idea of clam linguine is canned clams thrown into linguine with extra olive oil, I would seriously think twice. The clams themselves were beyond soggy, salty, and buried in a massive amount of dried parsley, making it salty yet bitter, while linguine was completely bland and had no taste. I was very hungry, yet couldn't stomach more than a few bites. Service and ambiance were pleasant enough, but I won't come back if this is the food quality expected. I tried to see if I could perhaps salvage it but all that condensed oil grossed me out.

Yelp
This place is GREAT!! From the moment ya walk in to the end of meal. Service is impeccable. The food is super fresh and delicious. Last visit we ordered pizza and it was DELICIOUS! Like I was in Italy!!! Yuuuum

Yelp
Used Door Dash received food an hour and a half after placing order, missing an item. Food is good but unfortunately this service is a reflection on the restaurant.

Yelp
The food is always good with sizeable portions. It is a cozy dining area but great for a mid-week meal.

Yelp
Enjoy visiting when I visit from out of town.Great consistency both food and service. Great price! Thank you! See you next time

Yelp
I really wish I could give more stars because I was really excited about trying this place and the reviews looked so promising. I will say, that our server was very sweet and attentive, and this is nothing against him. The food was just terrible. Under seasoned, I mean really bland. And it took forever to come out. Some parts of the pasta were hard & the pizza was straight up burnt. Two thumbs down. So disappointed.

Yelp
Best pizza spot, service was top notch, ambiance was welcoming and felt like home. This is my second time here and I will definitely be returning. This is the best pizza spot in Orange County!!

Yelp
I ordered the spaghetti with pesto and the garlic bread. When I entered the store, I didn't think the location would be that small. However, it wasn't busy so I was partially greeted by 5 workers hanging out at the front. While one was grabbing my food, the others spoke among themselves. The pasta was tasty however, the pesto is heavy in oil which left me with an upset stomach. I am an avid pesto fan so I can tell when it has a bit too much oil. They gave me a loaf of garlic bread for $3 when I was expecting one or two pieces. The serving size was generous however it was lacking a bit in garlic. I smelled the garlic but only tasted crunchy bread.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our first visit to this Yorba Linda restaurant. My wife was craving eggplant parmigiana and I tried their fettuccine pasta in vodka sauce with Italian sausage. Both dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. Wine corkage was reasonable and we shared our wine with the staff. What really made the evening was the friendliness of everyone - server Cade, manager Sage and owner Adam. Taking the time to meet and get to know new guests makes all the difference in the world to a dining experience in my opinion. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
The best Italian restaurant in Yorba Linda! The staff is amazinggggg and the food is incredible. They offer a variety of different dishes, there's something for everyone to enjoy, highly recommend!! Don't forget to try their tiramisu its sooo good and sells out quickly, it's a must have!

Yelp

Yelp
Be my sister, Sicily? The best Italian cuisine. The skinny...Mozzarella Garlic Bread was prepared with fresh bread, with great chew and terrific cheese pull. Marinara on linguini - fabulous. The marinara is savory and the tomatoes delicious. Cheese pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and garlic on "thin" crust was not svelte; however, well prepared and tasty. The tiramisu cheered me up, delectable.

Josephine W.

Yelp
Decided to try this place for the first time. Our server was nice and very attentive. However, our pasta was not so impressive. My mom and I love Italian food but the flavor of the dishes we had was mediocre. My mom ordered the linguini w/clams in a red sauce. I ordered the homemade spaghetti w/meat balls. My mom's dish was salty and didn't have any fresh clams only canned clams. The sauce was more like a creamy tomato sauce. Never had linguini and clams prepared like that. My spaghetti w/meat balls was okay. Pasta sauce tasted like something out of a jar/can. It lacked flavor. The meatballs so big and didn't taste great either. Needless to say, we wil not be dining here again.

Yelp
Food is decent enough, portions are large, price is right, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Called 20 minutes before arriving and was told the table should be about ready by the time we got there. Got there and the employee at the front said it would be a few minutes. No problem. About 10 minutes later and after some people got seated who came in after us, followed up again and was told the table was being cleared for us. Then they had someone else sit there. We decided to tell them we could sit outside. 5 more minutes later told us we could do so and seat ourselves. Sat outside. Not a peep from anyone for at least another 3 minutes. Had to wave down a waiter to ask for help. We only got a drink menu and a small happy hour menu. We thought they would bring over the full menu. Nope. Another 3-5 minutes we had to flag down a waiter again. Said we were ready to order and they said they would bring it right over and take our order. Waited another 5 minutes with nothing. Had to get up and ask for the menu yet again, a little more stern this time and they finally gave us the menu. But didn't take our order even though we were ready to get a few appetizers. My friend got upset and flagged down the waiter again. Then service began to actually exist and became prompt. Not sure what's going on but this can be avoided by giving accurate wait times so there's no expectation of less wait time if the restaurant happens to be busy.

Yelp
We've been living here in Yorba Linda for 45 years and I've never tried this place. We got pizzas for dinner. The pizza crust is good enough without anything else. Each of the pizzas was an experience in of itself. This is a place to be.

Yelp
1st time visit.. Wow ! Terrific service, nice prices. Pizza was awesome.. Sweet location. My new fave..
google avatar

Kat B.

Yelp
Come very hungry. The food tastes like they know authentic Italian cousine. The prices are very very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. They were busy, but the service was great. I recommend making a reservation as the locals know this place very well. It's an unassuming place from the outside, nestled in a normal plaza in YL, but I believe it's a hidden gem.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
A small local restaurant with great service and good food! The restaurant space is pretty small and intimate, but I saw people coming in and out all the time to pick up pizza orders. We had to try one for ourselves and it was pretty good. The calamari was alright, it could've been seasoned better. I thought the clam linguini was the best thing we ordered.
google avatar

Nancy B.

Yelp
Wow! This is a hidden gem! The food was healthy serving size and tasty! Nice proportions. Service was fast and friendly. Ambience was nice. Place was clean and nice decor.
google avatar

Jenning L.

Yelp
Food is good here! We tried a few of their pastas and a pizza. I personally liked their fettuccine Alfredo the most. Meat lovers pizza was a bit too heavy for my tastes. I personally would not recommended dining in. The restaurant is rather small and there is a table that is unfortunately right next to the restroom. By the time we left the restroom wasn't smelling so good :/ and we were thankful we had already finished eating. Order takeout!
google avatar

Hedieh M.

Yelp
Wonderful and fresh food with great staff. I wish they had more tables! The gluten free pizza was amazing.
google avatar

Anacleto E.

Yelp
We were greeted just as Wifey and I were just checking out the establishment... In we went-- lo and behold; Pasta Perfect Dishes! Kick back and enjoy the ambiance. Don't forget the amazing desserts! Tip notch service! We will be back.
google avatar

Adam D.

Yelp
Love this place. The food is always great, and the service is great any time I dine in. For ambiance, they do the best they can in a very cramped space, but it's worth it. Great pasta and even better pizza. I suggest trying their pesto sauce on pizza, as it is absolutely fantastic. Pretty good prices on top of everything else. Excellent local spot for some really good Italian.

G V.

Yelp
This is my go to Italian restaurant in Yorba Linda. I always get the chicken & shrimp linguini in white mushroom sauce. The chicken pieces are thick and the shrimps are jumbo. The sauce is delicious too. The only negative is the bread. It has no flavor. (It needs garlic butter and some parmesean cheese or something.) Despite that, I suggest you give it a try!

RJ B.

Yelp
If you are searching for the best pizza in Yorba Linda or arguably the best in OC SISTER SICILY is for you!
google avatar

Mary T.

Yelp
They have a nice little outdoor eating area. There is not a ton of seating indoors, but their takeout is also very good.. They have astonishingly good gluten-free pasta. Their flavors are wonderful and service is always great.
google avatar

Vida P.

Yelp
Too many times it went wrong. Service is bad. The pizzas are undercooked. Why bother? This used to be an ok place and now it's just bad.
google avatar

Monica R.

Yelp
Completely rude, just left us standing there, I tried asking a question and the tall thin server just cut me off and said he was gonna put some tables together outside-never did but continued to let us stand around. We left.

Yelp
I found this restaurant on Yelp after reading some reviews calling it a "hidden gem." I chose it for a date night with my girlfriend, as we had tickets to a local event at the Richard Nixon Library nearby. I generally avoid writing negative reviews, especially for small mom-and-pop restaurants, but this experience was too disappointing to ignore. We started with an arugula salad as an appetizer before ordering our entrees. At first glance, the salad looked fine with fresh arugula, sliced red and yellow tomatoes, and purple onions. However, as we began serving ourselves, we noticed some discolored leaves. A few bad leaves wouldn't have been a big deal, but as we continued, we found more that were dark and rotting. My girlfriend and I each set aside several bad leaves, and I decided to politely bring it to the waitress's attention, requesting a Caesar salad instead--thinking it would not be hard to mess that up. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse after that. We could hear the waitress talking to the kitchen staff about our complaint, and soon after, we overheard the kitchen staff complaining and cursing loudly in Spanish. This was especially upsetting because I understand a little Spanish, and my girlfriend understood it fluently. We could tell right away that they were angry and badmouthing us, which made my girlfriend uncomfortable to the point of tears. She eventually excused herself and went to the car, visibly upset. At that point, I went to the front desk, explained what had happened, and told them we were leaving. The experience left us with such a bad taste, not just literally but in terms of the atmosphere and service as well. We ended up driving 13 minutes to Olive Garden, where the service was fantastic, and the food was much more enjoyable. It had been years since we'd been there, and it was a much better experience than what we had just endured. We won't be returning to this restaurant. It was our first and last time. In hindsight, I wish I had filtered the reviews to see some of the more recent negative feedback before deciding to go. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude and poor service ruined what could have been a special night, and it's not something that can be easily overlooked or forgiven. This was the only video I've taken before we got our appetizer. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the salad because I didn't think we would've ended up in this situation.
google avatar

Yelp
I came by third time to purchase a gift card for an anniversary. Both the staff and the service were great. The couple who went to the restaurant really enjoyed the food. They ordered bruschetta, rosemary chicken, and veggie lasagna.

Yelp
We just had an amazing dinner at Sister Sicily in Yorba Linda, and I had to share! My family can be super picky, especially my daughter and husband, but this place made everyone happy. They have gluten-free options here for my daughter and she had the Alla Vodka and my husband couldn't stop raving about the spicy sauce they offered with the Fra Diavolo. We also had a gluten free pepperoni pizza and omg the crust was amazing. My daughter said it was the best she ever had! Oooh and the garlic bread, yum. I went for the linguine with clam sauce, and it was delicious. We also treated ourselves to some sangria and Pinot Grigio--both were fantastic. What really stood out was the service; our server Jack was incredibly attentive and made our night even better and Matt helped as well. If you haven't checked out Sister Sicily yet, do yourself a favor and go! It's a hidden gem that you need to visit.

Yelp
I did take out and the ordering process was easy. Service was good. Pizza was mediocre. I need to try some of their other items.
