This is a super cool local food hall in Fort Lauderdale with a ton of dining options to choose from! I like that you can sit down and order via the QR code on the tabe, so you can order from multiple food stalls at once and then they bring the food directly to you. The menus are pretty extensive, so it took us a while to decide on what we wanted to try because everything sounded so good!
They have a large center bar where you can order cocktails and this is also home to Dream State Brewing, so of course I had to try one of their beers. I got the Astro Blond ale which was crisp and refreshing. I don't drink beer too often, so my husband had to help me finish it, but I did enjoy it. It complemented my amazing Spicy Sicilian sandwich from Henry's Sandwich Station. It truly his the spot (spicy soppressata, capicola, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, hot pepper relish, e.v.o.o., aged balsamic, sesame italian roll) -- see pic!
I also ordered their garlic pesto fries with truffle aioli from Henry's fry bar. They were tasty but a little soggy since they were drenched in the pesto sauce. It was also a huge serving to pair with my already huge sandwich, so I'd probably skip the fries next time. My husband ordered the German beer bratwurst from Chop Shoppe Meat Provisions. They happened to be out of pretzel buns which was kind of a bummer, but he still enjoyed it.
The market is fairly large and spacious, and we even discovered their private event space in the back, which also looked like it could be a nightclub. We went during the day for lunch, but I'd like to see how the place transforms at night. There's a DJ booth and a stage, so I imagine it gets very lively in the evening!
