Nashville-Themed Bars Are Taking Over America | Eater

"A stadium‑adjacent, Nashville‑themed venue decked out with whiskey barrels and an oversized Dolly Parton portrait made from 15,300 painted guitar picks; the decor leans hard into country iconography. The menu mixes nods to Tennessee (a Nashville hot chicken sandwich that reviewers say ‘barely tickles the tongue’) with decidedly non‑Southern items like New England clam chowder, creating a hybrid that’s more themed entertainment than a faithful regional eatery." - Daniel Maurer

ReelHouse Opens in Quincy’s Marina Bay | Eater Boston

"In Foxborough, I visited Six String Grill & Stage (275 Patriot Pl.) at Patriot Place, a music-and-entertainment venue serving Southern-style dishes like fish tacos, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, and gumbo, with beer, wine, cocktails, live music, and eventual brunch — the decor even includes a Dolly Parton portrait made of guitar picks." - Dana Hatic

The staff were total rockstars, super friendly with big smiles, chatting us up like we were old pals. It was all so relaxed and fun, you couldn’t help but soak in the good energy. The food was exceptional! All around great!

Went on a Sunday evening so it was quiet inside and in the area. Honestly thought it was pretty good! My walking taco was really tasty and the service was excellent. Feels like a food place to come back to for live music.

Went there for the Powerman 5000 (really just went for Priest) show and paid for the stage right seating but the groupies who werent there for the first half of the show were allowed up there and blocked my view for the majority of pm5k set. Pretty upsetting when you pay more and the guitarist gets to bring his little tween army to drool over him. Didnt get food but did get drinks and my waitress was great. Ill reconsider coming back when they can figure out a better system.

Nice place but food wasn’t great steak was overcooked and wings were so plain and bland pizza was overcooked too but server Ainsley was super nice place was dirty we had to ask for the chairs to be wiped before we even sat and a1 sauce couldnt even b used cuz it was crusted on with old stuff very gross

Went there for a metal show. The place is pretty fantastic. The bartenders were real quick to take your order. We didn't get any food, so I don't have an opinion. Park in the back. If you go there on a busy night at patriot place. And you can't find parking in the front. There's a huge lot around back. Which is right where Six Strings is located. Six Strings is a pretty big place. Both times that we have been there were for shows. And honestly my only real complaint is from when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Show start time was 730, and "doors" were 630. We got there at 740 and the 2nd band had 2 songs left in there set. We were quite disappointed in that. Other than that, it's awesome! ENJOY!

Absolutely disgusting!!! (PICTURES BELOW) There were about six or seven Mice running around as we were eating dinner. One group of people behind us started screaming and soon after left right away. The manager handled this situation poorly, getting mad at the customer (My uncle) for taking a broom and getting the mice away from our table. The manager later evaded are table because he did not want to be confronted with this problem. Are waiter was very nice and apologized for everything(Something the manager should have done.) Instead the manager was making excuses about the mice problem they had. In the video the manager grabbed the broom and was smiling like it was funny when it was disgusting. The manager should be very ashamed. I do hope that the restaurant owner does do something about the manager and the way he handled the situation.

Google
Awesome venue with great food, tasty drinks, and wonderful staff. The bar is set up so you can see the stage from the back, or you can hang out up front at the stage if you prefer. Either way, the audio was perfect and I can't wait to return!

Epic Review: Six Strings Grill – A Rock Anthem for Your Taste Buds Cue the power chords and crank up the volume, because Six Strings Grill just shredded my expectations. We came in hungry, and left full—of awe, admiration, and probably 3 pounds of crispy perfection. This place doesn’t just serve food. It performs it. Let’s talk headliners: The Korean Chicken Sandwich – a spicy, crunchy, saucy masterpiece. Imagine if a K-pop idol and a Nashville hot chicken had a baby and raised it on a steady diet of flavor and swagger. The Mac and Burger – yes, you read that right. Mac and burger. It’s what happens when comfort food levels up, goes on tour, and melts your face (in a good way). Fries – golden, crispy, and seasoned like they were summoned by a wizard chef with a salt wand. No notes. Just applause. And then… there was Tabby. Our waitress. Stoic like a Jedi Master and cool under pressure like Han Solo in a cantina shootout. She didn’t miss a beat, kept our drinks filled, and delivered each plate like it was a sacred artifact. A true legend. Six Strings Grill isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a backstage pass to the greatest hits of bar food. If you like your meals loud, proud, and unforgettable, this is your place. Five stars. Encore-worthy. Would crowd-surf back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
The Six String Grill was hopping before the George Strait concert at Gillette! It was the perfect pre-country concert atmosphere--lively, energetic, and fun. The music was loud enough to set the mood but didn't overpower conversation, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite the crowd, service was friendly and prompt. All the servers looked like they were genuinely having fun, which added to the upbeat vibe. The red sangria was a flavorful mix of wine, triple sec, fruity vodkas, and juices, though it could've used a bit more fresh fruit. The Código tequila margarita, on the other hand, was excellent. Food-wise, the street corn salad was delicious--the corn had just the right amount of spice, though a bit more avocado would've taken it to the next level. The Six String Burger really stood out, thanks to the crispy bacon and caramelized onions that elevated it beyond your average bar burger. We hope to return soon--maybe when there isn't a concert or game at the stadium--so we can soak it all in at a slightly less hectic pace.

Yelp
We went here before a New England Revolution game. It wasn't our first choice but every other place had an hour long wait vs. 20 minutes here. (That should have been a tip-off as to how mediocre the food was) We sat outside because the wait was even shorter, likely because it was a chilly 53 degrees. There were no space heaters and only one waitress for the entire outdoor section, who also seemed to be working as an inside hostess. We ordered burgers because they sounded pretty good on the menu ... and we noticed a few of the tables around us were leaving half eaten chicken sandwiches on their plate at the end of their meal. I love a good fried chicken sandwich and cannot imagine how bad it must have been to leave half of it uneaten. When I asked the waitress which people preferred, she kind of shrugged and said, 'I guess the burger'. But she also said, 'We are known for our chicken sandwich.' I think that about says it all. The burgers came out cold and firm to the touch. 100% sure these were prepped in big batches and then left under a heat lamp. There was 0% juiciness. It was dry and similar to a hockey puck. Asked how I wanted it cooked, I replied Medium. It came out well done. My guest's burger was also dry and underwhelming. There were no condiments on it ... I asked for ketchup and mayo and twice, our waitress forgot. I ate the dry burger because I had not eaten all day and my guest stopped halfway through. He got pizza in the stadium. After asking for condiments twice, I powered through the sawdust-like almost chewy burger. The waitress never even checked in. The french fries were decent ... I guess compared to the burger, anything would seem great. Salty and crisp and the best part of the meal. Our burgers were $20 each. An absolute travesty. It was similar to anything I've had in an airport, which is to say, terrible. Their beer selection sucked as well ... it seems like every beer you'd actually want to pair with a burger was absent from the menu. And the beers came in plastic cups. Most of the good stuff was in cans ... the other beers on draft were ho hum ... or high ABV IPAs. Most of the people around us also left half their meals uneaten on their plate when signing the check. Based on other reviews, I can see our experience wasn't a bad day. Literally shame on this place for the food and service ... there aren't many options on game days, so they are just taking advantage of their patrons with such lackluster offerings. The bathrooms are also filthy.

Yelp
Pleasantly pleased. I wasn't expecting the great service we received on the day of a Country concert but when we walked in the hostess said it was a 30 minute wait and we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our waiter came over immediately and we ordered the Pretzel which was 2 and was mediocre. Drinks came back quickly and our order taken, I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries and it was a big sandwich with medium heat and tasty. Cashing out was just as fast. Thank you all.

Yelp
Went to see a cover band on a Saturday night recently. I did not eat here. I did however have a few beers. Three of us roll up early, order 3 drafts, we all take a sip and it's on! Picture a triangle of dudes looking at each other as if it were your first sip of beer in your life! Is it me? Is it supposed to taste this way? Do we power through the sweaty sock taste? I have powered through a few 90 degree Bush Lights at the beach in my past, but no way am I gonna drink a $10 swamp beer. Uhm barkeep these don't taste right...can we get three bottled beer of any kind please. Without hesitation "No problem...Yeah sorry we get that a lot." WHAT???? word of advice for patrons, music and atmosphere is great, service was good, like anywhere some better than others. Bottled beer cold and adequate. Word of advice for management CLEAN YOUR TAP LINES. that is all.

Yelp
Can't even tell you what the food is like because my party of four sat on the patio waiting for a waitress to even acknowledge us for a water. We didn't even get the courtesy of a 'we're running behind'. Don't waste your time, we ended up at a burger joint.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to grab a quick bite after the Patriots game. Despite the long line, it moved surprisingly fast, and we were seated at a high table, which was unexpected with the post-game crowd. The place had a typical bar atmosphere and menu. He ordered the Korean fried chicken sandwich, and I went for the truffle parmesan chicken tenders. We were so hungry that I completely forgot to take a picture! He wasn't too impressed with his sandwich, and the tenders were just okay.
google avatar

Yelp
Good spot for drinks and sport watching. However, food is so so, ordered the steak and fries. Fries were over salted. The fried dough was hard and soaked in oil. Otherwise the sever was attentive and polite.

Yelp
We just ate here before the Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks concert tonight, and I really am impressed with how well they're handling the crowd. We were seated within a half hour, and the food came out quickly. Our server was still attentive despite the crowd. The food was all fine, nothing crazy outstanding but the burgers were the highlight as they were cooked to a perfect medium rare. I wasn't a big fan of the dry rub on the tenders unfortunately. Cool vibe with the stage and Nashville feel.

Yelp
I ordered the Street Corn Salad because I absolutely LOVE Street Corn! For reference, I'll include the recipe (you'll be able to make your own and perhaps the Six String cooks will learn how to make it as well.) CORN. Heat a large skillet on high heat and add the corn. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. SEASON. Remove from heat and add in butter and salt. Stir until mixed. Place corn in a bowl and stir in mayo and lime juice. Add 1 teaspoon chili powder and mix well. Sprinkle the mixture with cotija cheese, chili powder, and chopped cilantro. And the description of the salad from the Six String menu: Iceberg lettuce (got Romaine), roasted corn (not roasted, nor seasoned -- just a 1/2 cup of previously frozen corn poured on top), blistered tomatoes (there were a few soggy marinated cherry tomatoes in there) avocado (a 1/4 of an avocado) cotija cheese and tortilla strips (present) cilantro (none)... all for the over-inflated price of $17 (if you wanted to add a protein or shrimp, it was extra) $17 for just some vegatables and a smattering of not-even roasted unseasoned frozen Corn. The Street Corn Salad should be re-named to Over-Priced Unseasoned Frozen Corn Tossed On Some Lettuce and Soggy Tomatoes Salad -- extremely disappointing and way too much $ Fried Dough: the idea was certainly a good one... huge piece of fried dough with powdered sugar and sides of both caramel and chocolate sauce. We added a scoop of vanilla icecream on the top and it looked delicious! Until we attempted cutting (because it was very large and not hand-held type item.) The dough was very chewy and hard to eat. Seemed like it was pre-cooked (to save time and for ease of storage, I'm guessing) and then tossed back into the fryolater to warm it up. Cost was $10 -- which did not seem like a lot of $ for the generous size until you realized it was just unpleasant to eat. The bright spot was the server: a very polite, friendly and attentive young woman who was a bright spot to the evening. Don't come here for the food I guess, otherwise everything else was fine.

Yelp
they blare music until 3am. do not stay in the nearby hotels. they are very curt when you call. please do not patronize this business.

Yelp
3 stars seems about right for the dining experience here. I bet seeing a show would be a lot of fun, but we stopped by for a meal before a game at Gillette. It was one of the busier restaurants in Patriots Place so we figured that was a good sign. We had some drinks -- the spicy mango margarita was too sweet for my taste, and really not spicy at all. The gumbo was tasty but came out a bit cold. The veggie wrap was fine. Chicken sandwich was not the best I've tasted but was fine. Overall just average but does the trick before a game. I'd try somewhere else next time.

Yelp
Service was great. Atmosphere was fabulous. Food was just okay. Breakfast sandwich had no aioli and hubs flatbread was okay. Sons wings were super saucey. Only his fries were hot. Everything else was barely warm.

Yelp
We came here on a Wednesday night for line dancing. They don't do a good job of demonstrating the dances for beginners. I was standing at the bar with one of my friend and when the bartender came around she was extremely rude to us! Then, my other friend waited over 20 minutes to get the bartender to close her tab. Go somewhere else!

Rachel Y.

Yelp
Had lunch here on a Monday afternoon. Patio was cool and shaded by the umbrellas, and the music playing out onto the patio was a nice touch. They have surprisingly good vegetarian options- my mom and I split the black bean quinoa wrap and the watermelon feta salad, and enjoyed both! Our server was kind and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely would return here.

Sean V.

Yelp
Cool bar. Horrible service. Sat down at a bar seat and the bartender told me to "get up or get out" because he was saving it for his buddy (seat hadn't been occupied in 40+ minutes - I was standing behind the empty chair for the entire time and 40 mins is not an exaggeration). White dude with a terrible hair line and a beard at the back towards the projectors. Forcibly (cannot understate this - literally crushed the can in my hand ) took a high noon out of my hand and spiked it in the trash saying "you're done buddy". Really strange behavior, especially considering I said that I'd be happy to get up when this mystery person came back (literally just wanted to order a seltzer and then go stand with my friend group). Would rather drink mcgillicuddys nips alone in the enterprise parking lot than be near this clown at a bar. As proof that I was not just your typical upset drunk person (which there are plenty of) I've attached my credit card transactions for the day below. Total of 4 drinks purchased. Would never tell pats fans to not go here because it's a great venue. Big, open, and typically rowdy. But stay away from this guy.

Yelp
I had high expectations for this place. Was in town for an event and decided to stop in here for takeout. My buddy and I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife got a flatbread pepperoni pizza. I was looking forward to trying their Nashville hot chicken sandwich since I saw it featured on a few blogs somewhere and if I remember correctly maybe even phantom gourmet. Maybe it was a off day but that Nashville hot chicken sandwich was blah. Had no taste, chicken was nearly dry and had absolute no flavor of any kind. It was really disappointing. My wife lovessss pizza but not this pizza. I had a taste and was not a fan. They could do much better on that. Maybe they're better with other items on their menu but pizza and hot chicken sandwich, I'm sadden to say but steer away.

Ethan S.

Yelp
Place wasn't busy at all - service was not at all attentive - walking out manager and staff were near the host station talking laughing and carrying on and not a word towards us as leaving. Food was dry and far overpriced for the taste. Wouldn't even consider giving it another shot
google avatar

Sam E.

Yelp
I've been to Patriot's Place a hundred times. This is really the worst place there. I got the buffalo wings which were tiny and brittle. My son got the very expensive steak tips which were just ok but the sides were mushed potatoes (tasted like garlicky gruel) and limp string beans covered in oil. It's supposed to be a music bar but the playlist was weak pop garbage and played so low I could hear the guy at the bar across the room coughing into his drink. There are plenty of other places to go.

Yelp
Many thanks to Six String for accommodating our group of 30 last night! This is a huge venue which must be awesome for shows. It has a Broadway, Nashville feel to it, where you can perform at the Six String, but dream of performing at Gillette! The decor is interesting and unique. I loved the Dolly Parton mosaic and the drum kit chandelier! The food is southern themed, with Nashville Hot Chicken and Chicken & Waffles on the menu. My Jolene cocktail, which is a peach spin on a vodka mule, tasted amazing. Our servers were great and food came out fast. Thank you for a fun night!

Melissa A.

Yelp
The food was absolutely disgusting and the drinks were overpriced and had flys in them. The bouncers were unbelievably rude and acted like they were state police officers. Go get a real job. Want to be cops, who probably didn't graduate high school.

Maureen A.

Yelp
It is always a massive disappointment visiting here. After game atmosphere is not great, and staff is rude.
google avatar

Linda V.

Yelp
I would give a zero if I could. The waitress was great that was the only good thing about it. The food was cooked in old oil, the only thing fresh was the waffles. My friend got the salmon and it awful. The bathroom could of used a cleaning...

Will W.

Yelp
Maybe the worst meal I have eaten out in years. I ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was the equivalent of a TV microwaveable dinner. The steak was like bubblegum, the mashed potatoes were definitely from some type of "just add water" mix and the broccoli was limp, soft and wet. I suspect they are hoping you are enamored with their Disney type experience with a huge space and tons of oversized novelty items hanging from the ceiling & walls and will just ignore the food. The rest of the food at our table was about a C minus. I was so disappointed that I reached out to corp. (Never have I a done this before.) They responded with, "sorry about that, and let us make a reservation for you to try again" - I took a hard pass.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
Disappointed in the food, tried to order 2 things off the menu and they weren't available. Had the steak eggrolls and those were ok. The salmon had no flavor even when I asked for extra sauce on the side to pour over the top, still lacked flavor. The ck and waffles were nothing spectacular, reminded me of an eggo waffle. Bathroom was large but some stalls had no toilet paper. Cute little country vibe regardless and waitress was good.

Felicia J.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. So my husband and I are not drinkers. But we happened to be out for a work event and our company stopped by. We got in and ordered drinks for the table. It was loud like a normal bar should be but apparently the bar tender said we were intoxicated...... We do not drink lol. We had been there for under 5 minutes and we again do no drink. We were trying to be nice for the rest of the people we were with. I work in customer service and I have never felt more disappointed in an establishment as I did with this place.
google avatar

Blair K.

Yelp
Terrrrrrible service. 15 minutes to get a drink at lunchtime, and there is only 8 people 50 seat front bar. They staff with one person who is unable to multitask and does one thing then comes back to the next customer then does one thing... see where I'm going? Should be back for my food order in 15 minutes.... Had the Nashville hot chicken... like a very mild version of McDonald's hot chicken. That was yesterday. Why am I back you ask??? It's the closest in walking distance to my hotel. I guess I'm a masochist. This just in. They put fucking salt on my spicy margarita.
google avatar

Jeremy J.

Yelp
Fun place we stopped in while we were in the area visiting. This is a fun bar that has live music and cold beer. When we visited it was during the day and they had music in the background and it had a good amount of people in there. It was not time for dinner so grabbed a drink and enjoyed the scenery and music. Fun place I bet at night with live music

Andrew M.

Yelp
Went here with some friends on a Saturday night and I was sexually assaulted by some guy. So I talked to the manager, Greg and he did absolutely nothing to help me and in fact kicked me out of the place for raising the issue. I would not go here unless you want to be uncomfortable, maybe raped and horrible management.
google avatar

Donna B.

Yelp
We went for brunch. Our server was so fun. We started with the mimosa tower and it was great. They also offer other types of tower drinks which was a fun way to serve them. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was chunks of corned beef and sweet potatoes. I've never had it served like this and not sure I could have it the regular way again! This place has such a fun atmosphere and staff. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
A much needed lunch after running the 5k Color Run. The main highlight for me is the country music playing in the restaurant. Albeit, it's a little loud to to hear it, but I appreciate it. Been on a little country song phase lately. I ordered the Six String Burger and my cousin ordered a burger as well. When the burgers arrived, I honestly have no clue what the difference between each one was. My cousin said this is similar to something he would get in a hs cafeteria. I'll come back, though. I was told they have only been here a couple weeks or so, so I'll let it slide.

Yelp
The salmon dinner smelled and tasted soooo good that it didn't take the photo in time.

Carolina F.

Yelp
Service, Food, Ambiance - all of it needs to improve. This place was downright nasty. Food was gross, service was rude and slow, expensive, and uncleanly.... No thank you. I wanted to enjoy it so badly, but alas.
google avatar

Karla M.

Yelp
The food was good. We had the steak and cheese rolls to start. There was definitely an uneven ratio of cheese to steak and the steak didn't taste like real steak but I still liked it nonetheless. I kind of thought it taste like a Big Mac, especially after dipping it in the sauce it came with. The chicken and waffles were dry. The chicken wasn't too bad but the waffle was too dry and too much like a cake texture. It had cranberries on too which I thought was different. But it also came with strawberry syrup so it might have been too fruity for me. The burger was the highlight. It was simple but good. I thought it was cooked to perfection, at least how I ordered it. The bacon was cooked well, maybe could have been a bit crispier but it was the right thickness. The cheese was good but I wish the bread wasn't as toasty/hard/stale as it was. The fries were good but they kind of tasted like they had been sitting out a while. Overall, it was a good meal. They did look like they were setting up on stage for live music around 7:30 so that would've been nice to hear.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
Second time here, seated right away, outside as we requested. Waitress was really nice and attentive.. wife went with the Southwest salad. Great size with lots of avocado and a nicely seasoned grilled chicken on top. She didn't finish it so I did . I went with the six string burger. It was perfectly cooked, only downside was I wished the bacon had been crispier. This was the same for the fries. I like mine crispy, and these were cooked, but nit very crispy. The shipyard melon beer was actually really good also.
google avatar

Yelp
Great bar and staff with live music! Plenty of space to move around, was perfect place to meet before the concert at Gillette!

Yelp
"Nashville hot chicken sandwich" More like burnt ends of breading with 3 day old oil.

Julie P.

Yelp
I love it it's amazing. I thought it was without it. I will go there every day in my life. I lived closer. Food is amazing. It's a baby because if you didn't say oh this is good food that I wouldn't recommend it but if you said yes, that I would recommend.

Yelp
First time and first impression was very positive! Was not crowded and the server Samantha was extremely pleasant and prompt and took our orders perfectly! Especially when I asked for a rare burger!!! It was cooked perfectly to my instructions! It was one of the Best Juicy Burgers I have had in ages.. every restaurant that I request how I want it cooked always is wrong and I assume the cook decided how he wants to cook it.... But here it was cooked to my liking and that is a huge plus on the restaurant and on my server Samantha! Totally enjoyed the food the ice cold Beers and the pleasant atmosphere. Thanks again for making my dining experience very positive and tasty!!! To bad that my Guinness Glass could not come home as a Souvenir, as a reminder how great my time here was!!!

Alex M.

Yelp
I'd give 0 stars if I could. Had a semi private event here after a wedding and the door guy singled out one person and wouldn't let him in claiming the guest in question was "too intoxicated and he was concerned for his safety" - guest in question does not drink. When he asked why he was not being let in the security said he was getting aggressive, which was not the case, so we asked for the manager. I understand that as management you have to back up your staff, but you also have to evaluate the situation at hand. If you and your staff are trained properly, you easily could have recognized that he was clearly not intoxicated. Poor judgement initially on the part of the door security, then doubled down on the poor judgement from the manager. Turned what could have been a great experience into a negative experience for the whole party, especially the person footing the bill. Another thing to note - after this happened we were standing outside and two Foxboro police officers were standing nearby so we struck up a conversation. They were confused about the situation stating "they wouldn't let HIM in?" - just as confused as we were. Poor judgement, poor management, poor experience. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Jason B.

Yelp
Was here for an event, and didn't have any food or drink, so I can't speak to any of that, but the staff encountered was friendly and the place was well lit with great audio. Plenty of free parking, might have to go back to actually try the food.
google avatar

Paul Z.

Yelp
Came here to see Garth Brooks on his dive bar tour. We didn't have and food so this review is just in the concert experience. Everyone at the security gate was friendly and they got us right through respectfully. The stage is in the far side of the bar and had a sizeable area for folks to stand. The bar was busy but we werre able to get a few beers. Garth was amazing obviously

Merry M.

Yelp
Had a reservations for weeks for a special occasion and they cancelled it because they all of sudden decided they were not taking reservations for that day. Manager reached out after writing a negative review about it just to bust my balls and not fix the issue. They responded in the review that they were going to fix the issue but all I got was a lecture on traffic and timing. Ridiculous.

Patriots B.

Yelp
The food is underwhelming at best. Very overpriced, a burger will run you around $20 or more if you want bacon or any additional toppings and they will come out like hockey pucks. Me and my wife went there for the second time last night. Both times we went to see Timmy Brown and the venue is excellent for music but that is it , it stops right there the bartenders are friendly but the food absolutely is horrible and the drinks are way overpriced. So if music is your thing, I would strongly recommend eating before you go to Six String Grill and if you plan on going there for food just avoid it all together it's overpriced and below average. A draft domestic beer is 6.50 for a 16 oz water down draft beer.

Yelp
I first came here over the summer and had a pleasant experience and pretty good food. However, I went there again today and it was a different story. The host and server lacked basic customer service skills. There wasn't a greeting when we came in, they didn't even get off their phones as we stood there waiting to be seated. The restaurant smelled of weed, which I personally find pretty unappetizing and unappealing. My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos and got awful food poisoning!! I ordered the chicken and waffles which tasted fine, but kind of dry - nothing to write home about. Will not be returning... bring back Toby Keith's bar and grill!!

Yelp
Bar staff rude and could have cared less. Bartender brought our drinks. Asked her if she could take our picture. Rudely said " in a few minutes". Walked away and never came back. Really? How long does taking a picture take. Bar was not that crowded. Additional bar staff were more concerned and attentive to their friends. Had to ask for menus and they were annoyed by that. After we got our drinks/food, we never saw the bar staff again until they brought the check. Will def go elsewhere in PPlace.

Yelp
I was interested in trying out Six String, having enjoyed Toby Keith's restaurant in the same location. The new place is nice inside, it's huge and basically identical to the former venue with a stage for music. The menu is diverse with pub food geared towards more of a southern style. For lunch I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. The sandwich was quite tasty. It had a wonderful crunch to it and some strong heat. The pickles and lettuces were refreshing accompaniments. Fries were decent too. Our waitstaff was ok, I was hoping to get a refill of iced tea but never did. Overall recommended ****

Yelp
Personally I loved the restaurant! The service was great our waiter didn't rush us but was attentive. It's a bit of a loud atmosphere but a nice experience to have all the same. If you like more quiet dining definitely not the scene for you or ask to be seated outside. Food was great I loved the burger and the pizza delicious even tho it was there specialty. When going I would highly recommend leaving room for desert because it was the highlight of the evening.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent! We had the catfish and chips and the short rib Mac n cheese. The short rib was perfect fall apart beef. The catfish was well cooked but not dried out. Our waitress was very nice and prompt. The food here is much better than Toby Keith's was. Toby Keith's was good when it first opened but they slacked on the food quality over time and the general upkeep of the building. This revamp of the space is exactly what this spot needed. My only suggestion to this restaurant is to add a few more items to their menu at a higher price point, like a good sirloin steak or ribs.
