The Best Hotel Restaurants in Minneapolis and Saint Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"Housed in the Grand Hotel, mere steps away from U.S. Bank Stadium, this swanky cocktail lounge is the place to be for happy hour drinks and small plates. Grab a drink and get a duo of beef sliders or share the impressive charcuterie board." - Julie Yu

The breakfast here was okay, but not great. The steak was pretty tough and overcooked, with little flavor. The ham was fine, but the bacon was too crispy and the hashbrowns were quite overcooked and dry one day. The fruit also seemed to be old and not particularly fresh.

We stayed at the Hyatt during our trip to Minneapolis and visited the restaurant late at night on December 27 2022. We were pretty much the only customers. We mostly wanted some appetizers and a good beer. The beer was good but the food was awful. We ordered chicken wings, brussel sprouts and artichoke spinach dip with chips. The wings were dry, the brussel sprouts soggy and the dip tasteless. We should have rather had only the drinks and not eaten anything!

Of my weekend trip to downtown Minneapolis, this became my favorite bar/lounge to stop by! I love the modern swanky design here. With multiple different lounging rooms and full bar area as well, there is a comfortable space for everyone. Our bartender, Mary, provided amazing service going above and beyond to help get the TV in this private yet specious side lounge room to play a channel of our choice and gave great recommendations on drinks and food. It was almost like having a personal living room to hang out in. We moved from one area to another throughout the evening, enjoying the vibe of each and Mary become more of a friend then a bartender. Sharing stories and laughing all evening in this beautifully decorated lounge. I plan to keep returning here regularly and will be telling all of my friends they have to check this place out! Plus happy hour is daily.. Weekends too!!

My boyfriend & I had an “end to the night” stop at the six15 room for my birthday yesterday 12/11/21. Melissa was our bartender & she gave us the most amazing night! Even though we were only there for an hour, she was absolutely wonderful! ❤️ I’m going to make sure I go out of my way to see her again, she’s a fantastic asset to your business 🥰 McKenzie was working the front desk is the most chill guy we’ve met. He did his job well! I hope he’s working when he can find the time to stay at the hotel!

Don't bother...Took 10-15min to be greeted, wanted food, was never asked if I wanted to order or offered a menu(basics)...bartender seemed busy with 2 tables and 5 people at the bar. Bartender thought it was more important to complain for 5 min to hotel staff about something they didn't do right...Went somewhere else didn't want to "bother" the person working. The one cocktail was $13 and was made with soda from a can(paloma)...if you're main ingredients for a cocktail is tequila and grapefruit sode from a can you're not allowed to charge more than $10...try again Hyatt

It's serves it's purpose well. That purpose is for giving hotel guests a place for a couple of drinks and food if they don't want to go hunting for food in Minneapolis after 5pm as a large portion (if not all) of quick eat places shutdown. The bar tenders are as friendly as they need to be, that is a good thing since they seem to know when you aren't a chatty customer. Definitely recommend if your looking for a quick drink after work and your staying in the hotel

Friendly enough service, but the breakfast was pretty awful. Toast was stale to the point of being closer to a crouton. Pancakes were odd- as if their was no baking powder in the batter. Over easy eggs were solid. And everything else was meh. Start your day somewhere else.

Went in to grab some food to-go from the bar. While waiting for my food, Zach the bartender made me a Rye Whiskey Old Fashioned. It was perfect!
