Nothings better than fresh Modus from the tap. Pizza was really good. Wood oven, thin and crispy. Perfect. The staff was great. Sat at the bar. The ladies were helpful and on point. Great service.

I enjoyed Ska Beer for a long time, but this is my first visit. Staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating even though they were busy. Everything was tasty as expected. I had a pizza that was really good. Sausage and Basil, but no time for a pic of the pizza I dug right in.

Stopped in here on on our ski trip. Great services, lovely beers, and pretty awesome pizza. Our whole group loved it. Must stop if you are in Durango!

Amazing space and fantastic beers! Loved them all, my fave was the raspberry ale, salt and lime and euphoria! Got some to go and they hooked up a sticker. Loved all the things. Staff was so nice and helped me out with some tasters!

Wonderful rather large brewery, lots of seats inside and out. Excellent fire baked pizzas and a food trailer outside. Plenty of beer choices. Place can get busy on good weathered days.

If you love Craft Beer, there's no better place to stop in while your in Durango, CO. Great food and great beer! I highly recommend the Mexican Logger it is so smooth and great taste! We had a great waiter named Jacob and he knows he's beer and will help you pick out what's best for you! Next time my wife and I are in Colorado we are definitely gonna come back!

I was really disappointed when I Googled the places to eat it came up with counter food restaurant in it looks really good when I got there it became a different restaurant and all the pictures from the old restaurant that's the food I wanted so I was really disappointed their menu is really small they don't even have a cheeseburger for kids we had to pay $16 for an adult burger for my kid. I think there's no free refills, because our bill was 97$ for 3 burgers..... it was good food, but its more of a BEER destination for sure not food. Friendly though

This is a fun little brewery and great place to grab lunch with the family. Was pleasantly surprised to see the number of families with kids who were enjoying a weekend lunch in the restaurant. They have a wide variety of beers. I'm not a a fan of extremely hoppy beers so I asked our server what they had available. The medium ale she recommended was outstanding. For lunch. I had the jerk chicken sandwich with house made chips, also an excellent choice!

Thursday. Fourth of July, 2024. Noon. This place impresses us every single time. They have a huge selection of beer, wine, mixed drinks and Skagua. The food is okay, but we visit for the the drinks. Still our favorite brewery in Durango. It's a first stop for us on every trip now. We took another couple her and they loved it too. Do yourself a favor and make Ska a stop on your next Durango visit.

I've wanted to visit Ska Brewing for years (since trying my first brew of their's back in the early 2000's). The location was great, the staff friendly, and the outdoor seating area shaded and welcoming. The beers I tried did not disappoint (SW IPA and their Amber (Red) Ale). Good was tasty (pulled pork sandwiches, pretzel "bites", and queso and chips. For earlyish on a Saturday - there was quite the crowd and turn-over of tables outside. Parking is good for this spot, bathrooms were clean and stocked, and the tables inside seemed sufficient for the space (the day was too nice to be inside!). If you are in Durango, make sure you check out Ska for a beer or two.

We loved the outdoor seating, even in July it was nice to sit outside! Our server was also super friendly and very attentive - we found out she was from Arizona too so it was fun talking with her. The food was just okay - hence my 4/5 stars! I thought the fries were subpar and the brat was just okay. I would come back but order something different! My cider was also delicious!

I love your beer, I love your pizza, I love your friendly staff but for the love of God please put your burger back on your menu!!! I know you have a wee kitchen but beer and a burger?!? Really?? I would wait a few minutes to get one! I also love your patio! Just bring back the burger!

Pretty cool bar and establishment. I went here and our waiter was great. He took good care of us and I enjoyed the ambience of this place. We biked in and they had lots of outdoor and indoor seating. The only problem I had was the food. My sandwich was not the best tasting and the soup wasn't the best either. It was a little smaller than I expected and the salad came out with the wrong dressing on the side. I enjoyed looking at the unique merchandise they had to offer and my dad grabbed a sticker since he loved the pizza and the beer so much.

Ska Brewing has both indoor tables and patio tables. We managed to get a table for 6 on July 4th. Dogs are allowed on the patio. I love the Modus Hoperandi IPA. Friends enjoyed the Mexican Logger, and the seltzers. My partner and I enjoyed the spinach salad with chicken and one of the cheeseburgers. Everything was delicious. The server (don't remember the name) was friendly, attentive, and checked on us periodically. The brewery does have an outdoor stage so they must have music on some nights. I will have to find out when and check it out.

Service was terrible. My sausage pizza had absolutely no sausage, bright side the cheese was good. Waiter said the sausage was under the cheese. I didn't find it. Never again

Cole did an excellent job taking care of our table. He was very accommodating and patient when explaining the beer menu. We ate the cheesy bacon green chile fries which were amazing! We also had a pepperoni and sausage pizza which was cheesy and delicious. We couldn't leave without getting a couple of 4 packs to go!

We really enjoyed our beer selections and pizza. Our server was excellent too! Just one little incident kept our rating from being a 5. The server behind the bar was rude. Our menu had already been premoved from our table up so we asked her for a menu so we could select our next beer. Instead of simply handing us a menu she says with an eyeroll they're all listed on the wall menu (without descriptions of the beer like in the menu). Then acting very put out reaches down then tosses it on the counter at us. Why?!!

Food was decent. My son had pizza that was great, but my tacos were mehhh. The beer was good, but the best part of this place was our server. She was awesome at explaining everything to us and service quickly.

Don't Miss this local Durango gem that's pup-friendly and has ample indoor + outdoor patio dining, fun activities like corn hole, live music, fresh microbrew beers, ciders & meal options (including gluten free). Lots of unique souvenir merchandise too. Our tacos were all freshly cooked, and flavorful, great prices, plus service was quick and friendly. 1-star deducted as we sat outside and on the lunchtime Labor Day we were there, there were some distracting bees/wasps hovering in/around our table/food.

Super friendly service with delicious food and beers on the dog-friendly patio with beautiful Mountain View's and no highway noise. The Dave vegan sandwich is amazing: the perfect combo of spicy and savory. The Grapefruit Lager was full of piney happiness and grapefruit juiciness. The Oktoberfest was super light and refreshing but still had all the malty, fall spiciness you want and expect.

Worth the wait! Seriously, this is probably the best brewery in Durango. Beer is excellent and the food is to die for!! My favorite beer was the Mesa Guava IPA. I don't normally like IPAs, but this one was perfectly balanced and had amazing flavor. The Queso Dip appetizer was phenomenal and the chips served with it had a yummy seasoning on them. The pizza was absolutely worth the almost hour long wait! Everything is made from scratch including the dough so it does take awhile. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. If we had stayed in Durango longer we would have eaten here again for sure. Hope to come back someday.

As someone who's been enjoying your beer since 2001 I'd say that: 1. Your beer is overpriced or at least give your locals a bit of a deal. 2. Stop getting rid of the tastiest food 3. Serving your food in paper containers is cheap and lame. Come on Ska, you're better than this!

I can believe how much this has changed. I used to go here in early 2000's. They were a couple streets over. They always had a end of hockey season party. I have so many great memories of those. The building now is amazing and of course the same amazing beer

A couple first responders recommended we try out Ska Brewing before we left town. They have a great selection of IPAs, stouts and other beers it's difficult to choose just one! Why your there ya got to try out one of their pizzas. Pretty decent bar food but the beer will definitely make ya want to come back.

This was the best meal my family and I had on our Colorado road trip. We had the bbq jerk wings, cheesy green chile fries, and the kids pizza. Everything was bomb and we also took a 6pack to go. Friendly staff and locals were all welcoming.

Love this place and visit it every time I'm in Durango. Great beer, food and service. Don't miss this excellent brewery!

Had Cole as our server. Knowledgeable and accommodating. Had the GF pizza and a lovely lager. Wish they had a brown but not in this batch. Dog friendly patio.

What a great experience and excellent crew. We ordered a cheese burger and a margarita pizza, and both were outstanding. A relaxing atmosphere under an umbrella on the patio. What more can you ask for but good beer good food and friendly people.

Visited Ska last week with my girlfriend, before heading back to Albuquerque. This spot is a must if you're ever in Durango! Great beers, cool vibe, excellent food selections and that MERCH is hard to stay away from. I ordered the Guava IPA which was a good 9/10! Shared a pizza with my girlfriend, and totally hit up that MERCH room. Got some pint glasses for my homies, a sweet Fanny pack for me (can't wait to rock that in the summer! Also got some Ska sunnies!

I wanted to take a moment to think and compose the perfect review because that is what my experience with SKA was; PERFECT back story, i planned a memorial service for my late husband and wanted a very low key reception for afterward. Meg was the BEST! She & Jordan coordinated everything after going back and forth mainly because i couldn't make up my mind on the menu and where we should be served (there were 25 of us). It was an emotional occasion and Meg was very considerate of that and my budget. She worked very closely with me to make certain all was perfect and it was. We ordered ahead of time and when we arrived the appetizers were served and shortly thereafter the pizzas were served. and Yes, the food & beer were amazing as well as the service, my husband would have loved it; we all did!. it was a very lovely way to end a memorial service and i am very thankful to SKA and Meg for making that happen! kudos to a great staff!

Just a little follow up on my previous review--when reviewing the bill the waiter put multiple meals and drinks that were not ours on the bill. When my husband went back in to inquire as to the total, it was discovered. They had to correct it but offered NOTHING for our trouble. What happened to customer service? They could have offered a discount next time or something!

It is a very cute and fun place to hangout and relax with your friends. Food was good, well prepared and brought to us with many helpers. I was never sure who my server was, lol, but I am happy to return and highly recommend it.

Overall flavor: 7 Side notes: - crust cooked well (crispy on outside fluffy on inside) - Fresh mozzarella - Sauce isn't too acidic or sweet TOTAL: 8/10 I'm very picky with my pizza, rare I rate 8 or above. Would eat again several times

Great beer! We also had the elderberry cider which was very yummy. Pizza is a must! Servers were nice.

Absolutely love going in person and tapping directly from the source. Any day this n Durango is a great day but with this super chill vibe on the outdoor patio with a cold beer on a warm sunny day... simply superior!

I gave this place the benefit and bumped my review up, but realistically would have only given this 3.5 stars. With the only negative pretty much being the service. Our waitress pretty much made it seem she was doing us a favor by even waiting on us, and not like that's literally what she's getting paid to do. The service was incredibly slow, food being brought out randomly and after very long, and then she was literally rushing us out from the table once we were done. But aside from all of that, everything else about this place was awesome. The setup they have outside with their patio, as well as the container up top, were a great area to take in some mountainous views in the background. The food itself came out in pretty good portions and everything was pretty tasty. And on top of all of this, I think it was very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.

Wow! What a great place. Great atmosphere! Great staff. Huge patio. A lot of seating. Good section of beer and food. We had the artichoke dip and the soy ginger pork sandwich. Very good food. I tried the double ipa, doppelbock and a taster of the barley wine. So good. They brew stuff at the other Ska locations and send stuff here. This is a great place! Cheers!

Of all the breweries we hopped while in Durango, Ska was by far my favorite. Off the main street, it the property had a lot of area for guests to spread out. The patio was full, so we sat inside, and enjoyed the lively environment at the bar. I was intrigued to read about the brewery's history on the menu and loved the story behind the name. The owners do a great job of threading the branding throughout the business. Each can has a fun, unique design that makes you want to pop open them all just to try a sip! Naturally, I had to have a flight so I could do just that. I enjoyed them all and was excited to see this brewery's presence around many of the other Durango spots we hit along our stay. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Children running wild everywhere, running up to dogs and petting them without asking, screaming and jumping on the outdoor stage, ripping out gas line flags for an ongoing repair. A brewery is not a day care. Children should not be allowed to run rampant at an adult establishment. If my dog has to be on a leash, so should your child. The dogs are more well behaved than they are. It became impossible to enjoy our time there because they were so noisy and annoying. At one point the service staff had to come out and tell thr kids to get off the stage. How disrespectful is it to force service staff to stop their work to come parent your child.

Ska Brewing is amazing place. Great food, great selection of choice beers. The staff was fantastic ! Doug(bartender) was great and Maggie (GM) was very attentive to everyone's needs. I "Highly " recommend this place and I look forward to going back soon...

Our family ate here last night and we were very disappointed with the wait time for our meal. Two hours is unacceptable! We were told 30 to 45 minutes when we placed our order. We ordered an appetizer and asked if we could get that as soon as possible as we had a couple hungry young kids with us. The cashier who took our order said he couldn't order it that way. Isn't the definition of an appetizer something you eat BEFORE your main course? Anyway, two hours later we got the entire order. We like the Ska atmosphere and food, but something is broken.

Amazing beer? Great people? Food trucks? Ska & reggae music? Honestly, what more could I have hoped for. I've been here a few times in the past and finally getting the chance to go again while in Durango lived up to all the great memories of SKA! I got the Mesa Guava IPA, which was the perfect brew for a warm day. It was light, almost like a hefeweizen, but had a hint of guava that didn't make it too sweet. My regret is not bringing an empty suitcase to ship some back to the South. The people here are always helpful and willing to throw a smile that welcomes every person who makes their way to the bar to order. When I was there, it wasn't crowded, so my friend and I could carry a conversation at a comfortable volume...even as Bob Marley, Slightly Stoopid, and Pepper played in the background. One of things that I love about SKA is the food trucks that they bring in for food. My guess is that this changes out on a regular basis...smart thinking SKA. So would I go back? That's a definite yes! And I'll save some luggage space next time.

Great beer, lovely location and good food. I have always enjoyed Ska beers wherever I find them on my travels. Delighted to finally visit and I want disappointed. My wife and I had flights of beer and the grilled brisket sandwich all were excellent. I will return when next our travels bring us to Durango.

3.5 stars... Nice brew joint in an industrial area that I had never heard of, but hey, it's beer! Started off sampling several; Mexican logger- light, crisp, sessionable Tropical IPA- fabulous mid hop IPA with a great citrus pineapple finish The Hazy IPA- average IPA but not overpowering hop profile. Grapefruit Lager- good grapefruit flavor over a light beer Food was an option, but we were going to dinner later. Ambiance was industrial picnic, prices were in line with expectation, staff was cool and friendly. If I make it back this way I'll surely stop for another tropical IPA, in fact I bought a 6-er to take home! This joint makes the list!

Our family truly enjoyed this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the environment fun, and our waitress, Brittany, was superb. Doug the best bartender. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. It is the best food we've eaten in Durango.

The beer and pizza were awesome. Very laid back vibe with good options for adults and kids. The pizza with hatch chili and pancetta was legit! Plenty of beer types for all tastes.

So no show up on Sunday afternoon. Tiny menu. Cool place, cornhole. Can't rate the real food. We had a hot dog and a salad. Beer was good.
