Best skateshop in the world! Been ordering off the website from Ohio since I was a wee little lad & it’s too awesome to be finally be able to attend Tampa Pro year after year thanks to a little thing called hard work! God bless this skatepark & skateshop for eternity!

This is a real nice skatepark, 3 areas, 2 indoor skatelite one outdoor concrete. They do allow non-skateboard riders but it's definitely 90 percent about skateboarders. The ramps and obstacles are varied and in good shape. It was $8 for a day pass, waiver required, no helmet required for skateboards. Everyone else has to wear one.

First time back to SPOT after 20+ years and it hasn't changed much. Came for a concert and loved it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We first visited SPoT last week for my niece’s birthday, and it turned into way more than just a fun afternoon. Rocco, the instructor for both kids and adults, was incredible—patient, humble, and dialed in to exactly what each person needed to progress. In under an hour, he helped us land four basic move/tricks, and you could feel everyone leveling up without pressure. Because of that experience, my daughter and I signed up for an annual membership the same week. A full week later, here we are—back at SPoT, looking at boards in the shop, committed to showing up and learning together. We live on the other side of the bay and still make the drive, which should tell you everything about the vibe, the people, and the value. Special thanks to Rocco for helping convince my 15-year-old daughter to stick with skateboarding and—just as importantly—getting this 44-year-old guy to fully commit too. Also big shoutout to Zeth for the help today in the shop. We started surfskating just four months ago, and now, because of SPoT, we’re on a whole new path. See you on the ramps. 🛹🔥

Ordered shoes only a few days before Christmas and they got them shipped out super fast. Turns out I ordered the wrong size and we were visiting Tampa so we made a stop at the shop. The guys were friendly, helpful and got my son in the right size shoe. I will definitely continue to shop here. Awesome shop and great customer service!

A little late posting but needed to express the love. 3rd year in a row we attended Tampa Pro Contest. Best all around skateboard experience all in one: Shop, Park and Events...Top notch knowledgeable workers through out.... Triple AAA+

Really cool place for any person, child, adult, beginner, expert to enjoy skating, skateboarding or riding on a scooter. Our son wanted to take lessons and they do private or classes. Highly encourage any parent to bring their child to explore this sport. Everyone we have met here is really laid back and friendly too.

Great place for people that are skateboarders and folks that want to learn how to skateboard.

We took our daughter to the skate park for the first time and she loved every minute. We signed her up for the group lesson, which only had three kids attending. Rocco ran the lesson and had the kids start with the basics and then they did more advance skating. he was very nice to all of the kids and showed his love for skating. after the lesson he helped us get all of the safety gear we needed and even directed us to budget friendly options. Excellent all the way around. great place and even better people. Thank you very much.

This was a pretty cool experience. I came here with family and to watch one of them skate and it was cool to say the least. It was a really nice vibe. I had such a good time I may get me a skate board and skate around a little for fun

This park has something for everyone. There are two warehouses with a concrete park between them. Skate training class was there on a Saturday morning. Bring a bottle or jug of water & some snacks if you don't want to spend extra cash at the vending machines. They have lockers for extra stuff and a shop in case you break your deck or just wanna get some new gear. Staff was friendly as well.

Wife purchased skateboard from this skatepark and tried to return it within 30 day return period after son injured himself while learning how to skateboard. Return clerk REFUSED to accept return because wheels were blemished from light use. I reviewed return policy on receipt which did not caution customer that barely used merchandise would not be returnable unless ABSOLUTELY NEW. This is ridiculous for a skateboard or a bike or anything else that requires trying it out to determine if it is the right fit for the user. DO NOT buy skateboards from this business that you do not ABSOLUTELY plan to keep because once you roll them across any surface or use them once, they can never be taken back even within 30 days. Outdoor facilities also look quite dangerous and run down for a skatepark.

With everything that's going on, SPOT is the only place that I can go to and feel happy about being outside. Great shop, helpful workers and good quality skate goods. Of course you have to wear a mask in the proshop. Thank you SPOT, for staying open in times like these .

Spot has legit the widest selection of products brands and the BEST deals . I've been skating for a little over 20 yrs and lived on both sides of the coast. I've frequented many great shops but Spot hands down has been my best experience. If you are lookin for rad customer service , legit sales and fast shipping definitely hit these folks up !

Went for the first time last weekend! #CIBTAMPA rented the facility for a few hours. I'm so happy I got to experience this place! I look forward to visiting again when I'm a more experienced roller skater.

Ronny walk in and they all call f**got! I HATE YOU ALL NOT NICE -.- RONNY JUST WANT TO WATCH! THEY no let me sit on benchies, you know, ones with the curved toes, slide down so fun run up again slide down, so what? I though this was a park? Never come back. Snack bar ok.

Great indoor skatepark, lots of options for all levels. A bit price compared to other ones, but worth it since it's indoors, great condition and open til late!

Bought some shoes from this place online, and I got them in a week to the day of the purchase. Im on the west coast. Not to mention I couldn't find them anywhere else.Awesome customer service and authentic products. Will definitely shop here again

Terrible. Dangerous park that promotes an atmosphere of negativity and violence. Rules are enforced inconsistently, and don't apply to friends of the staff. This is not a safe place to bring your kids.

At last I get to skate this park! I use to live in Tampa but never been skating here only concerts and I've always had a good time at the shows. Today I came here with a friend who comes all the time. I've been so stoked on this place for all the things they do on Instagram and they host huge pro events. A super famous skate park being around since the 90s. On entering the shop the staff where friendly I filled out a waiver being my first time here. Cost was $8 bucks for all day skating and then I did not have my own deck with me so I rented one for $5 bucks. The deck selection was not large but I did find a 8.5 in okay shape maybe about 15 decks. I checked out all 3 spots of the park my favorite being the indoor side with the pool bowl. I got to practice dropping in on the ramps and jumping the steps it was great. The outside area I played around with and the cement was nice and not all destroyed. I was surprised bikes are aloud here but the park was kept up nicely. For the pro area I sat pack and watched because the people in there are good and well above my skill level. One thing to bring up is during skating my bearings blew out in one of the wheels so I want inside and was told it was okay and then I got a new deck that rode pretty nice the size was a 8. Once I got the deck I noticed it was to lose to my liking but the park actually has tools in the park for everyone to use so that was super convenient. The inside of both parks where cool with good airflow and there was good music playing at a perfect volume. I came early so the park was almost empty. Overall I would definitely recommend this park and will come back on my next trip to Tampa.

If you skate, skate here. Worth the drive from Orlando. If you really wanna know more just head over, won't disappoint.

I think it is pretty awesome that the SPoT exists. There's not a whole lot for teens and tweens to do in Florida without having to have Mom and Dad drive them somewhere. So, the skate park at least provides them with a place where they can hang out all day with a few bucks in their pockets and engage in some physical and social activity for a few hours. The skate park is reserved for the littler ones on Sunday mornings and gives a great opportunity for beginner skaters to be able to learn safely without getting trampled by the older teens. However, in my experience and just form observing it seems that the kids are pretty respectful of the younger ones and even go out of their way to help them learn. There is an indoor and outdoor area. The indoor area is nicely air conditioned and the outdoor area is relatively clean and free of things that can hurt the kids. The staff there is really nice too. They have a nice snack bar too where the kids can buy skate fare like hot dogs, fries, burgers, sodas, etc. It's relatively cheap so $10 can last them for a good few hours. I was there to see my son play at Transitions, an attached club (formerly Epic Problem) with his band (Act Of Mercy - Like them on Facebook - shameless Mommy plug). But while waiting around, I checked out the skate park and it was actually pretty cool. A lot of the kids grabbed their skateboards post concert and went next door to skate afterward and it was really awesome to watch these talented kids do their thing. If you need a place to let the kids blow off some steam, the SPoT is definitely a great place to take them.

I am not a skater, but I take my kids here. Both of them are under 12 and are beginning skateboarders. Sunday mornings are reserved for kids and there are lots of kids of varying ability levels. The staff is friendly and helpful. The skateshop has great clothing and hardware. And the general vibe is just laid back and fun. In general people are very respectful of the younger ones who don't have the same skills as the veterans. The facility has some incredible surfaces to skate. It is a tampa institution and definitely worth a visit if you are a skateboarder of any ability level.

Awesome place! Was here for Tampa Am 2011 and highly enjoyed myself!! I was very thankful for the snack bar area, because I had a hangover from hell from partying at The Bricks the night before. The room was air conditioned and relatively quiet. Even though the snack bar dudes never cooked my stuffed jalenpenos :( it's all good though. Can't wait to be back! I promise I wont get super wasted and miss the main event ever again!!

Love it!!Has a great vibe.My boys skate one is a beginner the other more of intermediate.Staff are friendly and helpful.They are presently adding on to the outside.Love how it's split into 3 areas.We will be returning when in the Tampa area.

Had decent clothing for sale the first time I went but just returned and it's all trash. Maybe make the place a little better by changing your merchandise and getting new employees

Configuration of the pro course changed since last year, it changes every year in fact. People are very good there so beginners need to be careful. Once you walk in it is a large skate shop, then you go to the pro course. There are 3 different skateparks for street and tranny. There is an obstacle for everyone so have fun!

Great park great staff plus I got 7 pairs of free skate shoes because they fell off the wires on the side great experience love the snack bar and free shoes 5 star I would recommend

I was considering renting a board and skating (I'm average at best..), the friendly guy at the desk let me look around.. Cool indoor and outdoor area. Unfortunately for me (and probably others) these guys are REALLY good, they got annoyed at anyone 'average'/in the way). Some of the best skaters I've watched, when I return I'll try going REAL early, so I can suck and not be in the way..

I've been to the park in the past and no complaints there.Their online store is a different demon. No matter how many emails I send them they just skim them and are of no help. I have a problem with an order that I should not be having if somebody could read. When I placed my order I sent a message stating that the decks are for my collection and I needed them with no tears in the shrink. Well, it took them well over a week just to ship the order. The excuse was that they were waiting for a new run of Tampsterdam decks. My order finally gets here and guess which deck has shredded shrink wrap? Did you guess Tampsterdam. They offered to email me a return label to print out. I messaged them back telling them I have no printer and have not heard back from them. If you live in Florida, Plus skateshop is nice to deal with. If you need mail order go to socal skate shop. Save yourself the head ache and don't deal with the Spot.

My nephew goes here quite often, he tells me it's a pretty nice place to skate with his friends.

I like this place, but it was personally too far for me. The guys at the shop were very kind. The park, which is two warehouses was a bit intimidating at first. There's a lot of "punk" culture in there. Every one was very polite and kept to themselves though. This is not a good park for beginner skaters. I mean, depends on the personality of the child. It is very much a "free for all" and no rules seem to be enforced. I was impressed that everyone seemed to follow a code of sorts. My children managed to make some friends at the end of it. Just remember to get past the initial intimidation of the pro's who's grinding and flying makes sounds that resonate in the warehouse. I would like to go again in the future once my kids can do some more ramps.

Needed to give them 10 stars ! Awesome customer service. I have dealt with many skate shops and mostly they are just rude and too cool. These guys are great, honest and funny ! Come here or go online for all your skater needs!

Best inside course in Tampa with two of the best contests on the east coast. I'm a regular because of it for 7 years

This is an excellent skatepark. They have a very helpful staff and all the ramps and rails are kept in great conditions. They have a snack bar at the park which surprisingly serves food that actually tastes okay.

I purchased a pair of Nike SB shoes from skateparkoftampa.com. There are several reasons why I was more than satisfied with this purchase. The very first was the fact that they had the "quickstrike" shoes available for sale online which my local skate shop in Chicago, on the other hand, had the shoes available "in store only". Not only was I able to purchase the shoes online, but they also included free shipping! The shipping time was super fast for me. The packaged arrived and when I opened it, i was surprised at the contents. I found the shoes I ordered of course but, aside from that, I also found a magazine and some stickers. The guys at SPOT really know how to handle their online orders. They sent me an email with info and a picture of the people that handled and helped complete my order. By far this was one of the best online purchases ever. I highly recommend SPOT for their excellent service.
