Thank you very much for the attentive service and the pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit, and it’s clear that the restaurant puts thought and creativity into its menu. I did want to share some gentle feedback regarding the food. As someone who is quite familiar with Asian cuisine, I felt that some of the dishes did not fully reflect the distinctive flavors of traditional Asian cooking. The fusion approach seemed a bit unclear, and as a result, the overall taste was not quite what I had expected. Of course, this is purely a matter of personal preference, and I understand that fusion cuisine is about experimentation and interpretation. With a clearer emphasis on the characteristics of specific cuisines, the dishes might feel more memorable and authentic. Thank you again for your efforts, and I appreciate the opportunity to share this feedback. I wish you continued success and hope to visit again in the future.

Had a great time. Would deffo go again. Loved the prawns wish they were a larger portion; cooked and flavoured to perfection, but not enough to share. Grilled seabass was fresh and hit the spot. The October was fresh and delicious. Feedback from everyone; food had no faults. Not overly salted allowing us to add salted if we wanted. I wasn’t impressed with the cocktails as they were as smooth as I’d like. The music was great, live dj giving us some amapiano and house and brought the lovely atmosphere. The staff was great and did their best tending to everyone and our requests despite the the busy busy busy night. Had a great time would definitely visit again and maybe I’d explain how I like my cocktails so that I can change my rating to 5 stars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding dinner for two at Skewd Asia. The Peking duck with pancakes and hoisin sauce was simply amazing—perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavour. The cocktails were next level: Three Wishes with the flying carpet and Aladdin’s lamp was not just creative but genuinely magical 🍸✨. We also had the tuna avocado roll and the vegetarian roll—both easily West End–level quality, beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. Crab salad was rich and flavourful and the eggplant was delicious. A truly memorable experience from food to drinks. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended. 🥢🔥

Solid Turkish cuisine… Absolutely impressed by the atmosphere, service, food freshness, quality, and diversity — and most importantly, the wine selection and quality. It was my first visit, but definitely not the last. The value for money was impeccable as well. Consistently impressive — amazed by both the food quality and the service on my second visit.

Lovely restaurant in Cockfosters. Good range of food on the menu. We tried the specials of the day, which were lovely. Didn't try the bone marrow, but my friend did and loved it! The Octopus was so soft, compliments to the chef. The mocktails Nick made were lovely. The staff were lovely and helpful. Would recommend and go back.

This restaurant is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to in England. Everything was wonderful, everything was delicious, and beautifully presented. Due to my allergy and illness, as well as the treatment I am currently undergoing, they prepared the meals I requested, and all of them were exactly as I wanted and completely safe for me. I had no issues after returning home, which means everything was safe. The waiter who took care of me and my friends was very kind – 10 out of 10 for him. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and everything was fresh. We probably ate the best octopus in the world – it was absolutely amazing. The restaurant itself is beautiful, elegant, and atmospheric, and everyone is very kind. Overall, I am extremely impressed, and I am very thankful for the wonderful evening and for preparing meals that were safe for my health. We will definitely return, and I think it will be soon. Overall, we highly recommend it and are very satisfied – both the restaurant and the food deserve 100 % satisfaction.

This was a very enjoyable meal. The quality of food was excellent. Everything was well presented and the service was top notch. The price of the meal was what I associated with central London, which I wasn’t expecting, but you do get a good meal and service. I came for a quick meal before a long stroll in the park, so I didn’t want to eat too much. I have my eyes on the seafood dishes, which I hope to have a chance to come back for.

Loved this little gem in Cockfosters. This is Turkish cuisine on another level. We had an early dinner on Monday around 6pm. The restaurant is very simple and elegant, customer service and quality of food is great. We ordered Hummus Kavurma, one other appetiser I cant remember the name, mixed grill and some thick cut chips as a side dish. The bread they serve is light warm and delicate with a lovely sprinkle of rosemary accompanied with rich butter topped with walnuts. Seriously yummy. The meat in the mixed grill platter was juicy, soft and perfectly seasoned. The dessert we ordered oh my god sweet heaven on a plate it was just something else I absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our bill came to £60 for two and we left happy!

The food might be good but i wouldnt know yet - we had booked a table for 8.15 at the front of the restaurant, at 8.40 we were still waiting. And now we are crammed 5 people on a table for 4. next to the grill which we had specifically asked to avoid... Clearly can't manage it's own success.

Skewd... The amount of competition in Cockfosters is well known, to survive as a restaurant you have to have good service, food, good lay out and design. Skewd tries to establish Greek with a twist, tries to lay the food out differently at their own personal edge. They failed. The chicken kebab to be honest though was very moist. The service was poor and I was the only person with my mother in there. Waited half an hour for a coke. One star for the moist chicken & one star for getting me out of that restaurant in under an hour

Went as part of a party of 6- food was exceptional a nice modern twist on Turkish cuisine decor and ambiance all good... Some nice touches like the freshly baked puff bread served on arrival and the complementary water infused with fresh berries and mint. Starters reasonably priced and a good selection for veggies. I had scallops as a starter which were perfectly cooked and lamb chops with a pistachio crust as main. Would recommend you book at the weekend as the place was packed to the rafters when we went. Definitely worth a visit!

Easy to reserve a table, much appreciated courtesy call confirming the booking at which point we were able to make some small requests for our surprise meal. The bartender is pretty impressive (We recommend the Porn Star Martinis!!), service was top notch for a Friday night and the food was delicious- generous portion sizes and flavorful food. Really appreciate the little things- fresh bread served when seated, water infused with mint and berries, daily specials, clean bathrooms with incense burning, hot fresh towels to clean our hands properly. There was so much we had to take some home which they packaged in neat, tidy to go boxes. Quite possibly my new favorite local!!

Went on a Monday lunchtime and the restaurant was very quiet. Really nice ambience with an open kitchen. Warm welcome from friendly staff. A varied menu including a lunch set menu with plenty of choice at excellent value. Food was superb and the hand cut chips are worth the visit. A decent and varied wine list means this should have 5 stars but for the "Greeter" being on the phone and failing to acknowledge me for a couple of minutes on arrival and then conducting a heated, loud conversation on the phone during my meal, I am sure this wouldn't happen in the evening or at busier times but I am glad i was dining alone. All in all the food and excellent waiter win out and I would recommend

Rude waitress took my food away before I'd finished eating because she was in a hurry. Not impressed, and won't be back.
