My wife and I went here in a date night. This restaurant has great reviews, so we waited to try it. The place was pretty easy to find, and parking around the area. I got a kabob plate and my wife tried something else. My kabob was good, but the price was a bit high for just one kabob. Idid really enjoy the fried nuts that were on top. My wife liked her dish as well. The paklava was fantastic! I'm not the biggest fan of these flavors, but it was a great place to try if you like these types of flavors, is recommend checking it out.

Google
The food was very tasty. Somewhere you’d actually look forward to your left overs. The sumac salad had me asking what’s in it because I would love to recreate it being that I’m not from the area. I am not a pilaf person and thought the pilaf that came on the beef plate was delicious. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing. Delicious. Affordable. You can tell it’s made with love :) The flavors are perfect. It’s so nice to find a touch of Armenian & Middle Eastern cuisine in Spokane. We ordered too much but wanted to try everything!

This weekend, my family and I wanted To experience something different wow this place did not disappoint. Wonderful staff great atmosphere. The culture was in every bite of the food. Although we were in Spokane we felt like momentarily we were swept away to a different country. Thank you skewers. We will definitely be back.

Google
Phenomenal! Food was beyond flavorful and perfectly prepared. Service was excellent too. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap with Herb Fries and a Lamb Kebab, both were delicious. Nice portions for the price. Definitely coming back to this one again and again.

Google
Absolutely incredible! We had the garlic flatbread and the eggplant dip. Both knocked our socks right off! The chicken kebabs are absolutely incredible! The flavor was spot on, and the chicken was so tender and juicy. Another hit with us was the feta dip

Google
I went here alongside three other people, and we were all amazed and wowed by the service we received. The food we ordered came out timely. I had the Chicken Shwarma plate with hummus and pita…SO GOOD. The rice had a lemony hint on it which made it so good. Paired with my pomegranate lemonade, it was such a filling meal. We ate the herb fries with whipped feta which was AMAZING. I highly recommend.

Google
Although the curry was not spicy it was delicious! I didn’t ask for spicy, and spice level wasn’t asked of me so I assumed they don’t offer that but the rice, the naan, the chicken, the sauce! Every bite was delightful! To drink I had the cardamom tea with a shot of brandy and it was wonderful and stayed hot my entire stay! The service was excellent. Very happy I came across this place!

Yelp
ONE OF OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT OF SPOKANE! My husband and I came here for lunch. We ordered chicken curry dish, fattoush salad with chicken shawarma, and side of toum (garlic sauce). LET ME SAY, everything was flavorful, well seasoned, and delicious! The curry dish tasted like comfort, as if I was invited to their home and having a family dinner / lunch. The shawarma was amazingly flavorful! If I could have the toum at home, I would use it in everything I eat lol We had a lovely experience here. Ambiance was great! The service was amazing! Thank you, Mirak for the most authentic food and service! This is a must try, when in Spokane!

Yelp
I hate to leave a 4-star review because they were so nice, but the food just wasn't quite for me. My wife enjoyed her meal, but the sauce in my chicken shawarma wrap didn't quite hit the mark. Just a matter of personal taste--I know plenty of folks are really into this style of Mediterranean, so it may work better for others. That said, there were definitely positives: our server was very sweet and seemed to be fresh out of training. He did forget to note "no tomatoes" on both of our orders, but he was so friendly and kind that it honestly wasn't a big deal--we just picked them out. He'll get there with more experience. Service overall was very fast, and the space was clean and casual. I probably wouldn't return myself, but if Mediterranean food is your thing, it's worth giving them a try to decide for yourself. Wishing them all the best!

Yelp
Amazing lunch spot! Armenian wine was amazing!! Great flavor and service. We got the fattoush salad, chicken schwarma and the dip trio. Best baklava I've had outside of Istanbul. Will definitely add to our lunch rotation's. Maybe have to visit Armenia for the wine

Yelp
We were looking for the restaurant where we can dine with our dog. We've specifically checked Skewers on Apple Maps and Yelp where "Pets Welcome" and "Dogs Allowed" are featured. When we arrived into the restaurant - their stuff refused us with our dog and declined any "Pets Welcome" listed on their sites. Each business is responsible for their info and disclaimers on the map and Yelp, thus we can't accept their "we are not in control of that info". Very shameful!

Yelp
Great food, and lots of it. I got the lamb kebobs, my pal got the shawarma fries. Great flavor. And of course we had to end the meal with pistachio baklava. Service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant was clean. There's enough fabric hanging around the place that it stops the loud noise reverberation that happens with a lot of places. All in all, it was a great meal. Heck, the aromas that came from the place made me drool as I walked in, and I did not leave disappointed.

Yelp
Stopped to pick up a wrap that I could eat my vehicle. Service was fine no issues waitress is very helpful . Price is fair for the amount of food you get . The beef wrap had good flavor no real complaints . The fries on the other hand, I don't know what season they put on it, but I did not care for them at all . I would go back and try some other stuff .

Yelp
Skewers was highly suggested by my friend, so both her and I decided to come here for Inlander Restaurant Week. My experience here was wonderful, and I am definitely looking forward to introducing my other friends to this restaurant! Since we came in on a Friday during restaurant week, the place was pretty full - overall though the atmosphere was very comfortable. There was one guy who was mainly helping my friend and I, and he seemed very attentive, often apologizing for the kitchen being a bit behind, which I really appreciated. In terms of the food, my friend and I were able to share so many different items as a result of restaurant week. We got to try a few dips, some falafel, a chicken schwarma wrap, and some baklava and rice pudding as well. Everything was so well-seasoned and delicious. I loved the flavors in my wrap, and the fries had this awesome seasoning as well. The entree portions were huge, however I wish they could've taken some of that quantity and give it to the apps as well, which seemed a bit on the smaller size. I was a huge fan of both desserts, however my friend didn't really like the rice pudding that much - it was our decision to be adventurous and try something new though, so I was pretty happy regardless. Honestly for the price of $25, I am very happy with the food and my overall experience. I was told that Skewers often does catering for WSU medical students -- I wish my program could get the same as well :'). Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Went for restaurant week and had the most delicious food! I ordered the lamb shank which just melted in your mouth and the paklava dessert was just as good had just the right amount of sweetness. The owner even took time out of his busy night to come check and see how things were that's amazing service! Sorry I forgot to take photos but check this place out

Yelp
Skewers is a gem! We have eaten there twice. The server was friendly and very helpful in describing the menu items. The food was fabulous. Unique flavors and spices, and very ample portions. One of our favorite places in Spokane.
google avatar

Rick P.

Yelp
The ambience and service were nice, comfortable. If you order a salad I recommend getting the dressing on the side. My greens were so saturated with vinaigrette the salad was inedible.
google avatar

Rae Jo K.

Yelp
Price was awesome, food was amazing, service was spectacular... Would definitely eat there again!
google avatar

Yelp
I was looking for a lamb dish and read some excellent comments about Skewers so I placed a to-go order and it was about ready when I got there. The lamb skewer plate was excellent with thick juicy pieces of lamb. The rice preparation was also very tasty. I plan to go back as there were several great items listed on the menu.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
So good! The lamb is cooked and seasoned perfectly and by far the best falafel I've ever had! Service was wonderful and love the music that they play. Definitely will be back!
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Excellent food, great prices, excellent service, with a relaxed ambiance. Couldn't say enough good things about here! Came here with kids a they were very patient with them and very accommodating and friendly. We're busy, but let me know it would take a bit to get food out and really wasn't a bad wait. Was first time coming, but definitely will be coming back! :-)

Lon R.

Yelp
The flavors and spices were top notch. The quality of ingredients and ample portions made all than prices more than reasonable. Everyone in our party agreed that there were multi things on the menu that we all wanted to try and we will be coming back. Loved the music! Thank you for the great service.

Yelp
1 of 1. Phenomenal spices, flavors, sauces and fare. The service was welcoming and prompt. The ambiance is casual and fairly quick. We had a chicken shawarma and beef wrap. They are both large, and come with wonderful spice covered fries. You also get a choice of delicious flavors packed sauces. This is a top spot and one of a kind restaurant. We also got a Pakhlava to go that was the delicious and the best ever. We will be frequenting often! So happy to have you in Spokane. I hope you'll be able to offer lunch hours soon as I think you would have a lot of business at afternoon time too!

Yelp
Might just not be my favorite type of food. Everyone was nice at the restaurant but just didn't like the spice and flavor. Sorry

Yelp
I would never try to come here again .. as I stood waited to be seated I politely asked if I may sit at the bar as most restaraunts allow you not to wait if your doing bar seating .. so instead of assuming I politely asked her answer was dine in or carry out ? I said dine in ..: she gets me water I and since I had already seen the menu knew what I wanted so I then asked if I may order she replies not yet she had a few tables that got sat before me .. that should hold no ground I was by myself and I knew what I wanted should've been easy peasy so I waited about 7 min she still had not came back by I look to my left this sweet old lady got sat down at a table and had her order taken within 20 seconds from the other helper / server / bartender idk so I just walked up out of there .. smdh

Yelp
Three of ate at Skewers last week and unfortunately all three of us were disappointment. I had the Kebab beef which was dry, lacked flavor and tough. Maybe it came off of a warming table? They most definitely did not come hot off a grill My two dinning partners had different dishes that included chicken. Both thought that there chicken was over cooked. Drinks were small, but very good. Let's hope that these are start up problems and once they have their rhythm in place the food will improve?

Yelp
Skewers doesn't play. The fries are crisp, fluffy, and blasted with seasoning. Maybe a little tooooo much seasoning some may say as towards the second half of this meal I started to feel there was too much salt, but easy enough to shake it off. For the main course I ordered the chicken shawarma pita wrap with tzatziki. They STUFFED this pita wrap with meat and when I took my first bite my mind, body, and soul was so pleasantly surprised, especially in today's economy. There was a hefty amount of lettuce and tzatziki sauce as well to make this wrap bursting at the seams. Plus the pita is warm and toasted!

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying this newer restaurant near my hotel. I was completely satisfied with their food & service, the beef shawarma plate was delicious, and I even got a chance to speak with the owner and complimented him. I was going to go back for a 2nd night, but it was completely packed, I understand why. I will be back the next time I am in Spokane!

Kristina W.

Yelp
Food was on point, large portions and super tasty! Be sure to get a variety of dishes, to include the dip appetizer, skewers and shawarma fries. Fantastic drink selection, and make sure to get the pistachio baklava. You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
Great food, service, and value. We had the chicken and lamb skewers. Both were perfectly seasoned and tender. Along with a bevel of roasted/grilled vegetables, warm pita bread made for a very satisfying meal. My only negative is the limited seating. We sat at one of their high table made from a round table top and a barrel - cool to look at but not much leg room.
google avatar

Yvonne L.

Yelp
Skewers has a restaurant location now and the ambiance is lovely. The food is plentiful and delicious! The service excellent. Still the best baklava EVER!!
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
I was always a fan of the skewers food truck, so when I heard Mirak was opening a restaurant I was looking forward to checking it out. Went opening weekend and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, fresh, delicious. His help for the people suffering in Armenia is at the fore front. Don't even get me started on the pakhlava! Amazing place, don't just walk but run to this restaurant!

Angelica H.

Yelp
If you aren't looking for it, you might miss it! Found this hidden gem as I was headed to get coffee one morning. I'm so glad I made it for dinner one night! The food was extremely tasty and reasonably priced for the portions. Service was solid as well. If you don't know about this place, you NEED TO KNOW. One of my favorite spots in the downtown area now!
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
We almost didn't eat here on our 4 day visit to Spokane but I am sure am glad we did. This was the best meal we had during restaurant week. Definitely will come here again next time we visit
google avatar

Lori S.

Yelp
Amazing food and nice change of pace for Spokane. The shawarma was great as were the chicken and lamb skewers. We'll be back!
google avatar

Jana W.

Yelp
We've gone here three weeks in a row and have no plans to stop! Delicious, authentic Armenian Lebanese food and wine/cocktails, friendly staff and the owner is usually there walking around and chatting most weekend nights! Difficult to find parking nearby, especially if there are shows at the Fox or Knitting Factory.

Tina K.

Yelp
Very understaffed. Waited for 15 minutes and server did not even bring a menu. Unfortunate because the menu looked so good.
google avatar

Abby D.

Yelp
Amazing food. So delicious. The sauces are insanely good- we tried a huge variety of things- all were incredible truly. Better than any other food this type I've had. Love, will be back over and over.
google avatar

Chelsea H.

Yelp
Amazing authentic food! Bringing more culture to the Spokane area! Everything we tried was cooked and plated perfectly! Amazing flavors and so unique, can't wait to go back

Yelp
All I have to say is, thank goodness for Skewers. Just when I started to worry I'd have to live without one of my favorite foods here in Spokane, I came across this absolute gem. With its classically prepared shawarma, Skewers fills a void that the Spokane food scene was desperately missing. They offer a concise menu with a 3-step ordering process - pick your protein (chicken, lamb/beef, or falafel), then a sauce (tzatziki, tahini, or a spicy sauce), and lastly a style of eating it (plate, wrap, salad). In addition, they offer a few sides including a hummus plate, fries, and falafel bites. When it comes to the food, it's almost as if they have their methods down to a science as their items are consistently full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The meat is always juicy and tender while their well-seasoned falafel is always incredibly crispy. Plus, their home-made hummus and sauces are the perfect compliments to their main courses. I've had the opportunity to try all of their menu items (minus the fries) and I would happily get any one of them again... and again and again. In my opinion, Skewers earns the title of the best Mediterranean food in the city. Service is above average and prices are more than reasonable for such large portions. If all of that isn't enough, they have been donating a significant portion of their profits to organizations providing relief to people in need. Now that is admirable, and I'm more than happy to spend money at an establishment that's willing to help others. In an ideal world, Skewers would be slinging taste bud tingling shawarma 24 hours a day. But I'm just happy knowing that our city has an exceptional shawarma spot cooking up authentic Mediterranean food every now and then.

Yelp
I've been twice. The Kebabs are terrific. The chicken Shawarma we had on our first visit was very good. However, The beef Shawarma on our second visit was incredibly dry and not salvageable even with the excellent marinades they offer.

Angela R.

Yelp
Delicious food! The beverages were fantastic as well. Nice, comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back!

Micah B.

Yelp
This is the most authentic Armenian food available in the USA. It still manages to hit the American pallet with power and the passion is tasted in every bite. Go no further.

Amber G.

Yelp
Great food, good atmosphere without being loud, reasonable prices, great service!! We will definitely be coming back! (We had dessert and I can't remember what it was but it was awesome!)

Jamie G.

Yelp
Can I give 10 stars? Because this place was amazing! Attended for 2024 Restaurant Week. My husband and I choose one place to go to together each year and we narrowed down the 100+ list to 1. We chose wisely. The $25 mark was appropriate considering their menu prices, but considering quality and quantity, I would say it was a bargain. No pics unfortunately. Once we started eating we forgot about our phones. The breakdown: 1st course - one chicken curry soup and one falafel bites. Both were fantastic. If you don't like hot spicy or heavy on the palette spicy, avoid the curry. For me, it was amazing and my mouth is watering thinking about it. 2nd course - lamb skewers and chicken shawarma wrap. The lamb was well cooked and a decent amount. My husband isn't a huge lamb fan, but he said it's the best he's had. It came with rice and roasted veggies that he devoured. The chicken wrap was fantastic. The spices were great and it had some pickles in it that really brought the flavors together. It came with seasoned shoestring fries. I don't know what was on the fries... but I'm a dipper and I didn't need dip. They tasted great the next day too ;) 3rd course - paklava and wabat (?). Both were super good and flavorful. My only complaint for the entire meal was that the wabat phyllo dough was a little on the raw side on the inside. But the filling was so good we scarfed it down without a second thought anyways. Drinks. We paired with a cocktail, Armenian wine, and finished off with Armenian coffees. All were great. Service was 5/5, food was 5/5, ambiance was ok... 3/5? They occupy two former spaces and haven't really made them their own yet, especially on the old Scratch side. I'm sure that will change with time. It was clean and comfortable, and that's what counts the most. P.S. Make sure to get a reservation!

Billie M.

Yelp
Skewers is NOT chipped & formed commercially produced "kabab". It is the real thing. I'm partial to the beef, and it is seasoned pieces stacked on a skewer, broiled upright, then sliced off in bits. Just as it should be. Portion sizes are large -- to much for me -- then I eat a bit and get full. Then I have to eat a bit more -- because the flavor is compelling. Then I take the rest home for later. I really like these flavors, and I am so happy to find them near where I live. Thank you for being open for lunch at least a little bit. Service is friendly and good. Not exactly professional, but I'll take it. Ambiance is borrowed. Maybe someday it will fit the restaurant. This is food that I really like, so I'll definitely be back for more.

Sebastian S.

Yelp
Food was really good. Beef shawarma is something I typically stray away from because of it being overly tough but it was perfectly tender here! Fries were seasoned to perfection in my eyes and the spicy sauce was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
Always a favorite in Spokane. I have gone to events just because I knew the skewers food truck would be there. I love the falafel wrap and shawarma fries.

Ruslan K.

Yelp
Was here twice, good place to sit. The food was not bad, but I expected something more, looks great, smells great too, but the taste a bit didnt live up to expectation, maybe this is not my type of food. But anyway can recommend the place.

Amy V.

Yelp
Delicious food and good service. Flavors were amazing. Meat was maybe a little over cooked but still a great experience that will leave us raving for a long time!

Patty T.

Yelp
Delicious meal. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. We were served good portions with a smile. It looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. I had chicken shawarma plate. Yum!
google avatar

Marlene H.

Yelp
What a great experience! We came after a symphony concert, as did a lot of people and we were lucky and thankful to get a table. The staff did an incredible job getting the food out to so many people in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and attentive. And the food was so tasty and authentic. I am of Armenian heritage and so this was such a pleasure for my palette! We will be returning many times and wish Mirak and his staff so much success!
google avatar

Chris P.

Yelp
It was delicious! I had the shawarma chicken, and my girlfriend had the beef kebabs. Both were excellent, and the service was fantastic.

Tyler D.

Yelp
Amazing. Authentic. Great sauces. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't regret it!

Destiny P.

Yelp
Couldn't have asked for it to be better! Fast and friendly service. The food was pact with flavor and nice portions. 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
I've never had shawarma, so I was really excited to find Skewers. Thanks to Big Barn Brewing Co's IG post, I started following Skewers. I finally had a chance to try them recently when they were in Liberty Lake. My group and I tried a bunch of different items from the truck. The beef and lamb shawarma in a pita and on a salad, the falafel bites and for dessert, the pakhlava. Everything was fantastic. The flavors were amazing, the sauces were delicious, and the portions were huge! Everyone in my group is a big fan. Can't wait to get to the brewery when Skewers is serving again!
