Katsu Burger Ballard Will Serve Sushi Alongside Its Deep-Fried Burgers | Eater Seattle

"Once a neighborhood spot, Skillet Ballard shuttered in January after two years in business; according to an official statement the restaurant was underperforming and a flood from a broken water main didn’t help the financial situation. The closure announcement included the line, “After 5 years, we sadly announce the closing of our Skillet Ballard location. Thank you for all your support over the years.”" - Megan Hill

Great little mom and pop breakfast and brunch restaurant in historic street in Fremont. A huge menu with lots of great options. Classic American breakfast food. Service is very friendly and you feel like you're going back in time when visiting this neighborhood. Food was pretty good but I feel like we ordered the wrong stuff. I think more traditional breakfast dishes like pancakes and French toast might have been better. Still definitely worth a visit. Very charming!

It feels good coming back here! There were many people in line. The first time I came here, there wasn’t because I came earlier. They have us fill in our names and times we come here and then seated us based on the party. Luckily for me since I’m the only one dining here, I was the first one to be called in. They make us order before we get seated depending on the party size. I heard that they have a patio section, but unsure where it is because I’ve never seen it. I heard that we have to walk around the restaurant and it’s all the way at the back. The restaurant is small and makes me wonder how can they fit a lot of people inside. The corned beef is different compared to other breakfast restaurants. It’s mushier and they served us salsa, but that’s probably for the potatoes. For the hot coffee, they gave me a large cup. Usually, restaurants serve us small ones. I made my promise to come back here but it’s been almost two years now. I’ll try to come here a little more often.

Visited here twice during our stay in Niles . We had breakfast and dinner menus . On both occasions staff were friendly and attentive and service was quick and food fresh ! Both visits did not disappoint! Large potions so no need to add sides to your order - Thank you for a wonderful experience

We were a group of four with a mix of vegetarian, vegan, and eggetarian preferences, and Skilletz had plenty of great options to satisfy all of us. We tried the veggie omelette, veggie burrito, and fresh orange juice, all delicious and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and great, making the experience even better. Do note that due to high demand, they only take orders once the entire group is present. Orders are taken outside before you’re seated. Parking was easy, with ample spots available both on the street and in the adjacent parking lot. Overall, a great experience for anyone looking for solid vegetarian-friendly breakfast/ brunch options!

Google
Stopped in for breakfast after seeing the great reviews and was not disappointed. Made a reservation but on a Friday morning it wasn’t necessary as we were seated immediately without a problem. Drinks arrived within a minute and I kid you not our food was on our table within 5 minutes of ordering even though the place was brisk. There is an air of efficiency to the place. Be forewarned servings are HUGE and we didn’t know so we ended up with way too much food. The good news is the food was outstanding. Omelettes were awesome and pancakes got a thumbs up. It was pricey however again with huge portions we could’ve split the servings easily and made the price more reasonable. This is a good stop for a great breakfast with efficient service. Two thumbs up!

Went to Skilletz Cafe at 9:30 am Monday. They were a bit busy, but we got seated right away. We got our drinks and food really fast. We ordered chicken fried steak, rosa bravo omellett, avocado omellett, and breakfast patty melt. The portions are big and only cost $17.00 each. Fresh delisious food, great tasting drinks, good service, and relax atmosphere.

When we first seated, we said good morning but the busboy didn't even acknowledge us. Then we were given torn up and dirty menus. The waitress was pleasant. And food order was quick. The food was just alright. It was much better by the previous owners. Mostly won't be going back soon.

Google
This was a DoorDash order, I only live 5 min from the restaurant but don’t like the busyness on the weekends. I usually always order the Monte Cristo, it’s always delicious, not this time, it was dry even when I dipped it in syrup and had no powdered sugar on top which is one of my favorite parts of the sandwich. My husband got the Billy’s burger steak and eggs which comes with cheddar on top and avocado, they just gave us a plain flavorless burger patty…everything was cold when it arrived. Being busy is no excuse to send customers low quality food with missing ingredient, especially with those prices!

Yelp
Our first time at Skillets in Fremont was wonderful! The customer service was amazing--everyone was so kind and welcoming. A very nice gentleman with a portrait tattoo of his father helped us when we first arrived, and Giselle, our server, was excellent. She was very well spoken, gave great recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of. We especially loved the banana matcha! The only downside was the flooring--it had a noticeable smell, and we even saw a couple of people walk out because of it. It seems like the flooring may need updating. Other than that, everything about our visit--the food, drinks, and service--was fantastic. We really enjoyed it, and we'll definitely be going back and recommending it to others!"** Your local Real Estate Agent, Celeste Robles

Yelp
Skillet'z Cafe has a really cool, old-school vibe to it that I liked right away. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was excellent--the flavors were spot on and the salsa that came with it complimented it perfectly. The service was amazing too, friendly and attentive which made the experience even better. The only downside for me was the cutlery. The first set I got was dirty and overall the utensils felt a bit too worn down, which took away from the otherwise great experience. Overall though, I'd definitely come back for the food and the service--it just might be time for an update on the silverware.

Yelp
First time trying this place. Long lines but went by pretty fast. They take the orders before you get seated. Service is fast. Ordered Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, Papa Benjamin Scramble, upgraded the toast to pancake, and had mimosas. I know some restaurants have country fried steak and it's beef, this one, I assumed it's chicken coz of the name but as soon as I cut, i knew it's beef. Asked 2 servers and they said IT'S CHICKEN and even told me "I can get you a new one but it's gonna be the same" But I KNOW that it's beef. Another server came to us and explained that IT'S BEEF but only called Chicken fried steak because it's battered like chicken (!) I get that, but maybe clarify it on the menu. And the 2 servers being so sure that it's chicken, yeah right For the food, steak is bland, hash brown, just the usual. Mimosas, just okay. Pancake is gummy and weird to chew, tastes like regular pancakes. The place? Old (looks and smells). Yeah they're quick but just not my kind of brunch place. Will I come back, you know the answer. Maybe go to black bear or Ihop instead lol

Yelp
The wait on Saturday morning wasn't too bad about 15-20 minutes for 4. They take your order while you're waiting. When ordering the short stack pancakes. The lady asked what fruit wanted but didn't say it wasn't included until the bill came extra $3 bucks. The food came out pretty quickly within 10 minutes but no utensils. We had to flag someone down for utensils. No jam on table either for all the toast. The other server went to check on table next to us but our girl never came back after taking order. As far as the food, it was good. The service could be better all around.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for brunch, and we were blown away by the service and food. The hostess was incredibly friendly and patient with our group, even though I was running a little late, she didn't seem bothered at all. As soon as I arrived, my friend let her know our full party was there, and while we waited for our table, we were able to place our order. The efficiency here is impressive. One of our friends was visiting for the first time, and he couldn't believe how quickly our food came out, it was ready within minutes of us sitting down! The food was absolutely delicious. We all ordered different dishes, and everything was spot on. I always get the Rosa Bravo, it's my go-to and paired it with an iced caramel latte, which was perfect. A special shoutout for the hash browns: I always ask for them extra crispy, and most places don't get it right, but they nailed it here! One friend ordered the Oreo milkshake. We were a little unsure if it was supposed to have bananas in it, but he still really enjoyed it. The decor was super cute, and all the servers were warm and welcoming. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
I've always been curious about the long lines outside Skillet'z Cafe, so I finally gave in and tried it. Wish I hadn't. I ordered the chicken and waffles--seemed like a safe bet. Unfortunately, the chicken was fried beyond recognition. Dry, overcooked, and lacking any flavor... it barely resembled chicken at all. The waffles were passable, but nothing memorable. Honestly, I don't get the hype. The food just wasn't it. Definitely not my kind of place. Won't be coming back. Ambiance is okay. It can get noisy with all sorts of sounds (people, tv, kitchen etc)

Yelp
We had a good time. The menus is loaded for every craving you can think of. We went for the classics. My favorite was our busser, Cesar, he manicured our table and kept my coffee coming, anticipating every need. A little dark inside for my liking; I will try outside seating next time. We went for traditional breakfast. They don't have a host, for me it was a little confusing on seating because it was out first time, other than that, cashier forgot to bring my change. Nice overall. $93.47 party of 3

Yelp
Skillet'z is a cute brunch spot in the heart of the historic Niles district. My bf and I arrived here around 10:30 on Memorial Day and there were already a lot of people waiting out front. There is a decent sized parking lot adjacent to the cafe but it quickly filled up as soon as we left. There is also street parking available. We wrote our name down on a clipboard out in front of the restaurant. There was an employee that went down the wait list and took people's orders, which I found quite efficient. While you wait, I suggest perusing the menu and deciding what to order. We got really lucky and only had to wait around 10-15 minutes to get seated. Since we had already placed our orders while waiting outside, we didn't have to wait too long until our food arrived once we were seated. I ordered the Decoto Loaded Hash Browns with a side of wheat toast. The portions were huge but I was surprisingly able to finish the majority of it. The loaded hash browns came with sauteed veggies, sliced avocado, a spicy pepper and two eggs cooked to your preference. The side of salsa paired well with the dish and I liked how the toast was already buttered. My bf ordered Charlie's burrito with chorizo. It looked like a hefty and filling burrito. I took a bite of it and wished there was more chorizo than potato in the burrito. It also came with a side of sliced jalapenos and salsa. We also shared their drink of the day which was an oreo matcha. It was basically a shake and really good! Once you're done, take your receipt to the counter and pay for your meal. Overall, a decent brunch spot with big portions.

Yelp
This place always delivers, even on their busiest days! Everyone knows the drill, when you arrive be sure to put your name down on the waitlist and take a few minutes to look at the menu so you know what to order when you are seated. I came during lunch time and ordered the burger, they cooked it just right! They have the best ranch and it's a must with the fries. The restaurant is always busy because the people always come back! Great friendly service and amazing food!

Yelp
The best breakfast spot. Located in Nile's which looks like an old town movie location . Which it was if you look up the history. Great little shops all around . Wait was long an hour even though we called and they said 15 mins. They give you a menu while you wait. They will call your name to take your order then you wait again . The next time they call is for your table . Once you get to the table your drinks are waiting and food comes out with a few minutes of seating down. Dog friendly was outdoor seating in the back. Small establishment but food is excellent.

Yelp
Be prepared to wait in line but it's definitely worth it! They take your order before they seat you so it only takes about 5 minutes after you're seated for the food to arrive. More restaurants should use this model! I got a breakfast melt, it had a chicken patty, cheese, avocado, and grilled onions with fresh onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles on the side you could add in. So juicy and yummy, and the bread was soooo delicious! It says rye bread on the menu but I'm pretty sure it was actually sourdough, which I was so happy with. My friends got the La Lolita omelette and the Carmelita omelette and everyone was very happy! The wait staff are all super kind, and the vibes inside are so lively, homey, and so specific to the family that runs the place which makes it feel extra special. I would definitely come here again!

Yelp
Food good Service ok. Staff to customer ratio seems compromised. We waited a very long time to be called l, 35 minutes. Then you are required to order before you are seated. At the time of seating, we were told to go around the restaurant through the alley around the back into an outside seating area, but when arrived there was no one to guide us on where to sit. It was kind of a hot-mess-express. Ambiance is ok Overall I would return due to the good food.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Delicious food, speedy service and a welcoming vibe in a wonderful quaint downtown. The lines can get long but just as everyone else has mentioned, they'll take your orders at some point while you're waiting for a table which is perfect. Because once you sit down your food will be delivered in minutes. So check out that menu in mean time while you're waiting and plan ahead on what you'll order. We got a veggie scramble, chicken fried steak and two bomb iced coffees mocha and caramel. Everything was delicious. Looking forward to coming back here soon again. And while you're here, checking out this downtown is a must. Lots of antique stores to check out and a nice park nearby. Parking is easy and free.

Yelp
The wait for Saturday brunch was around 40 minutes, which isn't too bad considering how other restaurants could be at peak times. When you arrive make sure to sign your name on the paper located on the stand next to the menus. They don't take your phone number so you'll have to stay within the area to hear your name getting called. When they get to your name on the list, the server will take your order at the door. Once your order is in they show you to your seat. Service is pretty fast, and portions are big. I ordered an omelette which I finished but I barely made a dent in my hashbrowns, which were my favorite part of the meal. They also offer salsa with your eggs. We also ordered the French toast, which was solid, nothing really standing out. My partner was looking forward to getting beignets which are offered on the menu but I guess the restaurant wasn't serving them that day.

Yelp
So I've been hearing about this place for a minute. I finally got the opportunity to go. I know breakfast diners have a similar vibe and decor, etc. But this place needs some up keep. We were given 2 menus that had sections ripped out. I wasn't sure if it was on purpose or if they were just really old. Maybe I am missing something. There were a lot of flies inside that kept landing on our food and buzzing around us. With that said, the food was good, kinda typical for a breakfast diner. Our server was super sweet and the best part of our experience. I am happy that the business is popular and has history but I don't know if I would go back when there are so many other options. So I am not saying you shouldn't go, it's just not for me.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
This cute whole in the wall restaurant gives antique interior! If you come at the right time/day you can probably skip the wait time. The food came out super quick and I highly recommend trying one of their special drinks! My bestfriend and I both got dishes with steak and it was honestly cooked perfectly. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here. AND a bonus if you want to advertise your own business you can slip a business card into the tables!!
google avatar

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place. First off, my steak sandwich tasted like it had been frozen and then put on the grill. It had that taste, you know what i'm talking about. It was literally so small and not cooked medium like I had asked. Pancakes were good, coffee good, eggs and bacon good. They take your order outside while you're waiting for a table which is a little weird but It moves kinda fast. The inside was very strange. Not sure why the tables had random school ID cards, movie tickets, business cards, etc. Gave a weird vibe and seemed like lazy decorating. Didn't get my water refilled once. Server didn't check up on us at all either.
google avatar

Yelp
Went to Skillet'z for breakfast. When I arrived the cafe was full but getting a spot took under 5 minutes. On my way out though, there was a huge line just an hour later. Would definitely recommend folks show up early to avoid the rush. I ordered Linguica & Eggs and my partner ordered La Maria Juana alongside a glass of orange juice. The orange juice was too sugary for our taste, and the dishes were good breakfast fare. The real standout for the meal was the salsa, which was excellently smooth, spicy, and flavorful.
google avatar

Molly L.

Yelp
We came here on an early weekend morning and were seated right away in the second room. The place is spacious but a little more on the noisy side. The bathroom was a little dirty though. The staff was nice and checked in on us. We ordered the Billy's New York steak and eggs and the Decoto loaded hash browns with grilled veggies and an egg. They asked my partner how he wanted the steak done, and he said medium. When it came, the steak was so well done that it was almost burnt. My partner did not like his dish. I enjoyed my hash brown dish and thought the veggies were cooked well, but there could have been a larger variety of vegetables since I only got zucchini, onions and a few peppers. I think the most odd thing was that my partner asked if they had espresso and they responded that they had only frozen lattes. When we received it, more than half of it was ice and whipped cream and so he felt like he did not have enough coffee - so it was not an espresso as we were told. The area is near downtown Fremont which is nice to walk around afterwards with an old town feel. We would come back but probably would try something different.

Yelp
Such a great brunch spot that feels like home. We went on a Tuesday morning and were greeted right away. We were celebrating a baby shower and they were so accommodating. They quickly made our table, let us decorate, and even gave us a small table to put our gifts on. All of the staff working were personable and genuine. They also seemed to have a lot of regulars, which is a great sign. Everyone is greeted with a smile. The menu was extensive so everyone can find something they like. They are not shy with their portion sizes so you will definitely have some left overs. I got the La Lolita Omelette which was well balanced and hefty. I do wish they cooked the zucchini more but that's just my preference. The omelette came with your choice of side and an order of bread, such a great value. I chose the country potatoes which were good. They weren't anything special but were seasoned well and they gave plenty. They also gave a side of salsa which had a nice spice to it. I also got to try my friend's banana matcha which was great. The banana foam was made with real banana but it was a little too thick. I loved how the place felt homey and comforting. The walls are decorated throughout the place and you are able to leave a little piece of your lives on the table. They are also playing bay area music, but not at a volume where it was difficult to talk. It got your energy up for your meal. Such a great brunch place that I'm sure I will visit again.

Yelp
Skillet'z Cafe lived up to the hype for me! I came here with my best friend and toddler. The portions were HUGE. Everything was delicious. It can get very busy so plan accordingly. Overall service and food great.

Yelp
What a great brunch restaurant! Short wait time, kind service, big portions, and the food comes out fast. I got the coulette steak and eggs and they made it to perfection. We also had to give their iced coffees a try. I usually don't have the highest expectations for restaurants that serve extravagant items as they typically lack in quality (it's mostly for show) but their mocha had the perfect balance of sweetness and caffeine. You get something pretty to look at with quality! The price is also very reasonable for what you get. I'd definitely come back here again.

Yelp
I brought my mom here for a birthday breakfast. I love the Niles District for its quaintness and antique aesthetic. Skillet'z is a traditional diner with a large menu. Mom ordered the corned beef hash. I had the breakfast burrito. Portions were generous! Service is attentive. A bit pricier than I'd expect but again the portions were sizeable.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile now and got the chance to this last weekend. I made a reservation for our group of 6 for Saturday morning. We were seated very quickly and service was great and quick. I ordered coffee for my beverage. It was nothing special, just your average diner coffee. For my meal I got the tio Pancho, which is a chorizo scramble with biscuits and gravy on the side. My wife got the linguica burrito. Everything came out very quickly. The burrito was amazing and huge. The salsa was also really good and had a nice kick to it. The tio Pancho was good but it wasn't very hot when it was served which was a disappointment. It tasted great, but the temperature of the meal dampered the experience. Next time I would probably get the burrito.

Yelp
Of course when we arrived it was packed because it was Father's Day, we expected there to be a wait, weather was nice, Sun was out and wasn't too hot because it was still early. One of the hostess calls our name, not to be seated, but to take our order, takes our orders down and minutes after we were seated, our food arrived, Which I think is pretty cool. Once we were seated, the waiters were pretty cool. I ordered the Strawberries, Banana and Nutella waffle meal, came with Country skillet potatoes, eggs over easy and chicken apple sausage. My meal was a 10/10 .. I definitely recommend this spot. If you're in the Fremont/ Hayward area and want some good breakfast, this is the place to cure that rumble in your tumble.

Yelp
This may be my second time here and I loved it today more than the last time ! Came on a Sunday with the family. We signed in and were given a menu. Waited no more than 10 minutes and they took our order right outside. We were seated and our food came out after only 5 minutes are so. Great and quick customer service. The portions here are massive ! And everything on the menu is great. I ordered a Rosa Bravo omelette which had spinach, which had Homemade chorizo, bacon, spinach, bell peppers, avocado, cheddar cheese, & serrano. It came with a side choice of hash browns or skillet homestyle potatoes. It also comes with a side of bread or an upgrade of pancakes which I got. All of this for just $20 bucks ! You really could share it with another person there's so much food. Also note, I recommend ordering the fresh squeezed orange juice here, so refreshing!
google avatar

Sylvia J.

Yelp
Impressed with the amount of people in line but their systematic approach to get people seated and food ordered is seamless and quick. Breakfast was delicious and the mimosas are made with fresh squeeze OJ. I'm happy to live close by...will be my go to for breakfast! Down home kinda place as well.

Yelp
We went for brunch yesterday around 1:30 PM and, thankfully, there was no wait. We were seated immediately, and the service was incredibly fast--our food arrived in no time. I'd recommend looking at the menu beforehand because they take orders quickly! Pros: * Extremely fast service * Food arrives very quickly * Huge portions Cons: * The server took our order so quickly that multiple mistakes were made, and we had to reorder everything. * The food was too oily for my taste. While this is expected for this type of restaurant, it's not something I personally enjoy. Overall, it was a good experience, but I'd prefer to find a healthier spot next time.

Yelp
I had never been to Skilletz til this morning. What a gastronomical delight. The amount was overwhelming and the food itself delicious. The hot chocolate was a dessert in itself. I highly recommend this lil joint. Great staff also

Yelp
Tucked away in the charming Niles district surrounded by antique shops and hidden treasures, Skillet'z Cafe is a local favorite with a warm, quirky atmosphere and friendly staff that make you feel right at home. I ordered the pork chops, the portion was very generous but a little on the dry side, and a touch more seasoning would have made it perfect. Overall, it's a great breakfast spot for families and kids, and the perfect place to start a day of exploring Niles' antique gems

Yelp
DOGS allowed on back patio y'all! This is vital for pet owners who are hungry after venturing about the fun town of Niles. Food is fabulous. Top quality eggs, veggies, and meat are on the menu for their breakfast. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere lively and comfortable on the back patio. You can dine inside (without ) or if you dislike being outside. It's a family run business- support Skillet'z Cafe! The server said they are now open for dinner as well.

Yelp
Nice family diner with a relaxed vibe. Delicious food. Great service! The has browns were crispy and very flavorful. They give you big portions so come hungry.

Yelp
FIRST 2025 MEAL In December 2023 I ate at Dino's Family Restaurant because I read the owners decided to close the restaurant at the end of the year to focus on their other eateries like Billy Roy's Burger and Skillet'z Cafe. Fortunately Dino's Family Restaurant ended up not closing. However by eating at Dino's I did go to their other two eateries. The first time I went to Skillet'z Cafe was last May. I was thinking about getting the Skillet'z Special as I'm big believer of ordering food with a name of the restaurant. However I noticed one of the items listed on the specials of the day was Mexican Chicken Fried Steak. I asked my server if she would recommend the Skillet'z Special or Mexican Chicken Fried Steak. She suggested the Mexican Chicken Fried Steak, which I ended up ordering. The Mexican version different twist to the American version as there are chorizo and serrano pepper. The pepper didn't add spice but flavor to this dish. For beverage I ordered an iced mocha. The next time I visited Skillet'z Cafe was on New Year's Day. I sat outside on the patio. Even though there were other items to consider I ordered the Skillet'z Special. I was hoping to get the beignets instead of the pancake, but my server informed me they were out. I decided to get waffle topped with blueberries. I paid $5 extra for a ham steak in lieu of sausage. For appetizers I thought about ordering fried zucchini, but as the new year I wanted to try a new item. I ordered the mac and cheese balls. Sometimes blueberries can taste too tarty, but the blueberries on the waffle didn't have that aftertaste. I enjoyed the blueberries. However I wish the waffle was crispier. The mac and cheese balls had that crispy breading on the outside with the gooey cheese inside. The ham steak was worth $5 more as I got a big portion. On New Year's Day I enjoyed my breakfast at Skillet'z Cafe on a sunny day sitting outside on the patio while enjoying my meal.

Yelp
Been living around this area and been trying to check out this place. The long lines and large crowd on the weekends can be crazy. Weekday and we finally tried this place. They have good system in making sure service is quick and easy. Typical diner-ish. Large menu, lots of food to choose from. Price is decent. Ordered corned beef and hash, coffee, chicken tenders and fries. Fries were good. Chicken tenders are mid. Corned beef is mushy. Seemed like it was a can. Potatoes were good tho. Service was good. We felt like the servers were in a hurry tho.

Yelp
I already can't wait to return to this amazing brunch spot. I got the pork chops with eggs and crispy hashbrowns, and loved the whole dish. Service is quick and attentive. Ambiance is laid back local with unique decor that's fun. Great food, good prices, strong coffee.

Yelp
I arrived on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. There was a 15-20 minute wait. They take your order out front so once you are seated inside, your order has been processed and will be served to you pretty quickly. I find that to be very convenient! The food was really good and worth the price! Next time, I will definitely be looking forward to trying new items on the menu.

Yelp
From the start, we were greeted and asked what we wanted to drink. Once we picked our items, the food came out lightning fast, and it was even better than I remembered. Amazing service and food from start to finish!

Yelp
Best Breakfast and brunch spot in the area! Food: cooked to perfection Patty Melt: the melt was just perfect and good as requested. The fries are amazing and fresh homemade buttermilk ranch. Chocolate chip pancakes: awesome so yummy, had a chocolate chip cookie on top. Just a burger: amazing, has beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayo. You can ask for cheese added. Fries on the side was perfect. Lolita: so yummy, fresh avocados. Service: awesome and prompt. You can order while you wait for seating. You wait outside, plenty of bench's, not too cold as it's in front of building. Ambiance: cute decor. We loved how everyone puts money or business cards under the plastic on the table.

Yelp
Located in a cute little town. Parking is easy, fine place for kids. The food was not good though. I was told the potatoes would come with bell peppers and onions. There were 2 onions in a half a plate full of potatoes. The strawberries had been cut with a knife used for cutting onions or garlic. The strawberries had a clear lingering taste that totally ruined the actual taste of strawberries. The apple juice was completely diluted. I should have taken a picture. As a Mom I dilute my kids juice all the time and I know what watered down and not watered down apple juice looks like and as soon as I saw it - zero ice just watery apple juice I was incredibly disappointed. Food came out quick, people were nice enough, but I would never come back here and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Visit #100+ lol! This is always going to be one of my favorite brunch spots in the Bay Area. I will take all of my friends and family here bc the staff is fantastic, the service & line is quick, and most importantly the food is next level for brunch.

Yelp
I love this place so much! We've been coming here for the longest and I still don't remember our servers name but she's always so nice and polite and she always remembers our order! It's a little crowded place but it's so worth it! The food comes out very quick and so good! and it's not that expensive it's fair pricing for the amount of food you get! Definitely recommend coming here to have breakfast!

Yelp
I wish no one will have the same experience like I had today. I really wanna give this place 0 star. The restroom door was broken. I was in and locked it, but someone still can open it. They already known this but they didn't fix it. Can you believe that when I was using the restroom, a guy opened the door. It's a horrible day in my life. You runs a restaurant and let the customers have risk to be seen their private parts when they are using the restroom??? Terrible horrible and unacceptable!!!!!

Yelp
The food is amazing, and always come hungry because they serve huge portions. The service is fast and efficient, and the staff is great. They have an outdoor eating area, it was great for our little guy.

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday morning for breakfast and the staff was very attentive and fast. I ordered a veggie burrito and hubby got the fluffy homemade biscuit and gravy. The food was standard nothing to rave about but enjoyed the service and staff. Corned beef hash was probably the star of the show we enjoyed the little crispness it had and was tasty.
