Lyssa and I went here Saturday for Dinner. We arrived about 4:30, and it wasn't too crowded or busy. Our waitress seemed nice enough, but seemed a bit busy with whatever she was working on.
She took our drink order and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered the Nachos without Meat and we asked for a minute to look over the menu while we decided on the main dish. She promptly brought out our waters and in passing 2 different times told us to please hold, she will be right with us to get our entrée order. Like I said earlier, it wasn't busy, so I don't know why she seemed flustered. We were patient and ordered when she arrived.
For our entrées we ordered the French Dip Sandwich and the Fish Sandwich. Once the Nachos were brought out, soon after the entrées had arrived. The nachos were huge, and Lyssa mentioned that we didn't think that through. IT WAS A LOT OF FOOD! I didn't even touch my Fish Sandwich. Lyssa ate a bit of her French Dip.
The waitress stopped by with our tab and asked if we needed boxes. I replied with a yes, please. Lyssa once again stated we didn't think this through, the waitress replied with "If I knew you were going to order entrees I would have suggested the 1/2 order of Nachos."
Ummmm....... excuse me? You did know, and it doesn't show on the menu there is an option for a half order. So that was definitely disappointing. I ended up eating my sandwich way later in the evening, and it was "meh". The bread was so much and definitely over powered the fish itself. It also looked like they were two kiddy fish sticks with pre-packaged Kraft single cheese slices melted on top. I would not get it again, I would get the nachos again, not that they were bomb.com or anything, but I did enjoy them.
Overall, I still think this is a great place to visit, definitely a local place and not touristy. I'd come here again, but even though they have options for a practicing Pescatarian, they aren't the best options. So I'd steer clear of here if you are a Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, etc.
