Maybe of it’s free i would give an extra star. But for $80 not even 2 hours time, we were waiting forever for drinks, then food took so much time also. We ordered pork belly bao, i mean why is it even called pork belly if there is only a little tiny piece of meat? Lasagna dip was good though. The server came every 30 minutes, and right after her another server. Each time. There is a tiny heater and it was a cold night so we were freezing there.

Service was fast and friendly. Ambience was amazing. Can't think of a better place to relax. Bar tenders were excellent and always asked if you would prefer a double. But just as happy to craft a mocktail.

They just opened for the season today. Stop at the podium in the hotel lobby, get your stamp, and an attendant will badge you in the elevator up to the bar. Looks like they did away with the poorly reviewed VIP igloos, and just did normal tables behind a rope. Definitely a club type atmosphere with a DJ and a house type music. There's a full bar and a hot tub. You can dress in whatever you vacation wear is, but I recommend just dressing like you're going to the club. Ignore the fact that their website hasn't been updated since 2023 or 2020, they are now open.

We were super excited to try this spot Igloo Lounge for a birthday for 4 ladies... Customer service was the deal breaker. This place has potential but they definitely need an upgrade with their setup, heat, Bluetooth speaker, drinks and food. They do gratuity so get your money's worth!

#IglooLoungeVB at the Hilton via Sky Bar was a great alternative to dining out considering COVID. Our own secluded dining experience with music, lighting, great view, our own waitor, and comfortable seating. Drinks were great and the food was good. When making reservations online be aware the foods online are not all on the regular menu; therefore if you see it and like it; order it online. We'll worth the 90 minutes. Printing was reasonable. It's unfortunate there is a fee for use of the igloo and no entrées. Recommend and will visit again.

I do not recommend this place. Unprofessional security unlawfully seized my drivers license thinking it was fake, which it was not. It wasn’t until they realized that the police were on the way when the sleazy management were forced to give it back. Bouncer was also disrespectful to a group of military guys in front of me. So I definitely wouldn’t support this place. The Shack is a much better bar that seems to have security with a little more brains.

Didn’t get let in because of a “fake id” we’re all at least 27-31. When we asked for a second verification or scanner he said no he just “had a feeling”. All other security said it was fine. Would reconsider security staffing or provide better training / a scanner . Congrats on losing the only people there at 10;30 on a Friday.

This was nice, well heated, Bluetooth speaker, drinks were great. More food items could be on the menu. It is great for two or a group. Private, intimate, great conversation spot. Staff friendly

High atop the Hilton Hotel, there lies an exceptional oceanfront treasure. Sky Bar is literally, a club/lounge above the clouds. The staff are normally friendly, and the ambiance, particularly in the summer is great. There's always a diverse crowd in attendance, and they always feature a great DJ to provide the night's soundtrack. The drinks are solid too. Check it out if you're looking for a different experience.

The food didn't match the prices. $14-17 for each "snack item" was ridiculous. My friend had 4 jumbo shrimp for $17. Everything was cute, the view was beautiful, but not worth the ticket of $75 and nothing included. Cute spot but not too interactive to engage you for too long. Also, our lights didn't work and the sun was beaming on our igloo making it hot, plus we were told not to open the tent. Our waitress was nice, took our pics.

The sky bar had a great DJ the night we attended! Played a great mix of music. The view is incredible. The bar is small, but seems to keep up with demands. On the night we went it was packed.

The Sky Bar at VA beach is probably one of my favorite hang out locations besides the beach itself. You do have to be a guest or affiliated with guest to be able to access the Sky Bar, unless things have changed. I imagine for special events they do make exceptions!! I still want to attend their themed Halloween parties, I've heard they are the highlight of year. The Sky Bar is on the rooftop of Hilton VA Beach with 365 view of the City and has nice selection of spirits of many kind. There is an infinity pool and spa located outside with wall cabanas and located inside is a pool with fountain system (unsure if there's indoor spa). Both pools are saltwater which is nice!! I could hang here all day and If I was a local, it would be my #1 spot. The bartender here goes above and beyond for guest and to see all needs are met.

We made reservations for 2 igloos for a Saturday pre-birthday celebration and this did not disappoint! First time here and I loved it!!! Great for birthdays, girls night, or date night! The igloos have seating for 6, blue tooth speakers to listen to your favorite hits. It was great for an evening/night out. Our server was great I don't remember her name but she was very friendly. We ordered pretzels, seafood sliders, and a s'mores board. The food was great. I loved the ambiance and will definitely return. Make sure you check it out!

It was okay, I would not return. The menu is very sparse so don't come hungry expecting a whole meal. What we did have was average, I mean it'll due in a pinch. The view is what really makes this place. It is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Shout out to Sky Bar for bringing the igloo culture to Virginia Beach! Now if we could just keep this trend going in Spring/Summer... May I recommend a possible bungalow rental, just like your igloos? Can you tell Summer is on my mind? Sky Bar is one of my favorite places to go. I love the trendy, upscale atmosphere, but they still keep you grounded with their prices being fair & reasonable. They usually also have happy hour, when Sky Bar is actually Sky Bar, not their homemade winter wonderland. I'm going to highlight their igloos though, only because it's something seasonal, and new. You get an igloo reserved for up to 4 of your closes friends, and the igloo comes with: -personal server -decorated, social-distanced space -two heaters -blankets you can take home -waters -and honestly so many picture perfect opportunities. The food on the menu was also amazing, and I am all about experience, so I would highly recommend the s'mores kit. It makes the atmosphere seem more bonded, it's a warm winter night where you are able to do this, and the s'mores kit just set the tone to be a little more perfect. They have their signature drinks, or regular drinks to order just like a bar as well. They also do offer non-alcoholic beverages if anyone was wondering, wish also makes it kid-friendly! Nothing in the igloo was breakable either, which was nice not to worry about. I wish there was a little more space, to maybe have up to 5-6 people. Either way, I loved it. I loved the experience, and I can't wait for next Winter to do this again! And that says a lot, because if you know me, I hate the cold. But I will face Winter if I know I'm going here!

Pet friendly, boom! 5 stars! Awesome server, ambience and aesthetics in Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Right in front is a sculpture of Neptune as he overlooks the outdoor concert stage. This visit, we had my Tucker Boy with us and the sun was glaring. As we approached a bar near 29th we were turned away so I suggested Catch 31/Sky Bar as I remembered there was outdoor seating as well and it by King Neptune on 31st! We were greeted right away and before I could finish asking if my Tucker was allowed, another awesome wait staff was handing us a bowl of water for my Tucker Boy! Because of such nice hospitality we didn't care so much about the Steak burger I ordered but Tucker absolutely loved it, he ate every bit of it including the brioche bun that contained the beef patty. The aoili fries that was left for me was very good. The sparkling Rose I ordered was refreshing and so was my hubby's order of Sauvignon Blanc! Overall a great experience, my baby was satisfied and they simply exemplify excellent customer service, even the bar/restaurant manager came over to check in on us as other diners gushed over how @beautiful blue eyes" Tucker have or how pretty he was! There you go, we brought positive experience for the other diners too bur am sure Tucker was one of a kind-- he's simply magnetic!

Rooftop igloo - this is great idea in a COVID-19 environment. Bring a coat because you are outside in an enclosed igloo - they provide a mini heater. Also, you are given a bluetooth speaker which allows you to play some tunes. The drinks were great! I preferred the tray with the sweets. Also, you must preorder most of the food when you make your reservation. It is absolutely beautiful when the sunsets.

Had an amazing time at the sky bar igloo for my birthday! Would recommend it for a fun night with friends time is a little short if you want to be able to eat with friends. Should provide option to extend time as a package. Food and drinks were overpriced for what it was also not many options with limited menu. The s'mores kit was very good!

Sat outside at the bar and listened to the band. Good music. Good drinks. This is a place to go to in Virginia Beach. Bar tenders are helpful with recommendations for food and drinks.

Came here during the winter for one of those igloos and the views were beautiful. I loved the vibe of the igloo. Service was really good, servers were friendly! Food wasn't too bad and the drinks were pretty good. I loved that you can play your own music and that there is a heater. So much fun!!

Always w Anyways wanted to check out the sky bar. Had an awesome time with friends on a Wednesday. DJ was super kewl.

Very cool experience. Was apprehensive at first, like what's the big deal, but glad we did it! Intimate, cozy, private set up to enjoy conversation and delicious appetizers. Mixed cocktails were delicious but very limited on the beer selection. Server was very accommodating. 90 mins was the perfect amount of time to enjoy a small bite w drinks before heading to dinner.

A great place for safe fun outing. The waiter was fast and super nice. Perfect for a date night.

Honey Bun and I hadn't been on any kind of trip since Covid. Since we used to go to VA Beach several times a year for some close-to-home trips. We went for my birthday a few weeks ago and visited all of our favorite places to see how things had changed. Our trip to the Hilton Bar found lots of changes in the menu - now quite limit and missing the Happy hour specials we used to love. Had it not been for DeVante', the super bartender, we would have had one quick drink and left. He made some good recommendations for us, so we stayed and enjoyed ourselves. A good bartender can make a bar. He sure did. I hope Hilton appreciates him!

This place is a complete ripoff. My friend and I went up to the pool and decided to have cocktails. Asked for two Frozen margaritas with tequila floaters, to which the bartender said we'd be charged for a full shot and I said of course no worries! Well I watched this girl makes our drinks (and I'm a bartender) and she poured one 4 count shot into our blender for TWO margaritas. Then for our floaters on the top (reminder I'm paying for full shots so I would expect a full shot) she pours a 2 count! A 2 count is half a shot. Do not charge me $16 for two shots and only pour half shots. It's got a beautiful view but don't buy your drinks here.

One of the nicest rooftop bars I've ever seen, but it's overrated. I came with a guest who had a room at the hotel, so I didn't need a membership. It wasn't a whole bunch of people, probably because I came on a random Saturday around 11. Gotta try it out next time

First off. Christopher, the bouncer here is a awesome and funny guy. Truly made it fun walking in. Such a clean and elegant bar with strong drinks and good prices All bartenders are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of places to dance and hang while listening to incredible djs. Pool, beds and Jacuzzis. 2 bars and the best view in VB. Will always come back

I was upset Saturday night to find out the Sky Bar is closed temporarily due to covid because their website, along with other sources like Yelp and Google, indicated that they were still operating and the only things out of service were valets and lounges and the rest of the hotel was abiding to social distancing guidelines. I'll take fault into not calling in ahead of time to double check their motives in operations but I do feel whoever is in charge of updating their website could do a much thorough and attentive job into giving all needed information for future hotel members.

Five stars for Thursday ladies night and the coolest vibe on a weeknight. Nothing gets better than running into people you know and then being in the mix of Bruce Smith and his entourage celebrating his birthday. - DJ Joe Fu was spinning the beats. - People were dancing everywhere. - The fellas were having a good time catching Game 7 on the one TV at the bar. - My buddies were dancing away and getting toasted drinking out of champagne bottles. - This really isn't a complaint. The place wasn't super packed so service was quick and easy. That lead to a few too many drinks for people. It's so great to people watch at this point. The funniest part of the night was getting home at 2am and realizing that the set of keys I took with me didn't have the key to my house on it. The sober guys ends up sleeping in his car...in his driveway...too concerned about waking up any of his housemates. Isn't a time like this supposed to be saved for when I let things get out of hand? What a way to bring in the summer...

This is a nice place but thats it. We visited there last week and the vibe was good the view is amazing but everything looks a little bit fake... Rated 5 starts but its an average place.

View: best in the Hampton Roads Drinks: of course they are pricy DJ: some of the best local. DJ Jo Foo... This place has swimming pools and beds. This place has swimming pools and beds. I said it twice cuz it's that ridiculous. Crazy Cool. I'm not sure if you're supposed to use them but you can at least sit on the beds. The service is slow. Even for the VIP section. The only way me and my friends got in to the VIP was because we knew one of the owners. We had to run back to our cars and throw on collared shirts. But they don't care how wrinkled or stinky they might be (FYI). There is a cover but we didn't have to pay it. I'd be surprised if it was less than 20$. Overall. The place is great if you can overlook the service and cover.

Came here for a birthday over the summer and this place is pretty neat. The main reason I give it 3 stars is for the view - the ocean, the beach, and the city on the other side. For sure, its best quality. It has an outdoor and an indoor pool but (for safety reasons, they said), you can't use them at night time. In my head it sort of defeats the purpose of a rooftop party but understandable, I guess. The other biggest reason I'd go back to this place was the DJ for sure. I can't remember her name, but she was there at least once a week over the summer (not sure now on the off season), and she was on it! Without a doubt, her energy and song choice made up for the entire night and had us dancing non-stop. As for the service, meh. Not the finest, to be honest. Same with drinks (especially mixed drinks as they were a bit too watered down for my taste), and overall pleasantness of the staff. All in all, this place has potential. But they need to want it - and make it happen.

Extremely bad service, we were not even there for two hours when my friend was asked to leave because she was "harassing the DJ" when she had not spoke to any DJ nor was she near a DJ booth. The issue was a personal matter that a woman that was in attendance has with her and my friend was not even aware she was there until she left along with myself and 7 other people. The bouncer was extremely rude and was borderline yelling. Very bad for business, I don't see us returning if this is how Sky Bar treats their patrons.

Fashionable Fun Spot! Member pass is $200. Wow pricy but worth it. Nice view, pretty bargirls, cool shows, dress code, etc I can't wait for going back there soon...

This is the second time that I have attended the Sky Bar on Ladies Night aka Girls night Up. Candyland Party was the theme of the night. It was a Great way to spend my Birthday! They had 10 signature drinks that were made by Three Olives Vodka. I Tried 3 out of them. The Blow-Pop was great and it also had a Blow pop in it. I also tried the Loop-Aide which was great if you like lemonade... It was very Tasty! The Pools were decorated with wrapped candies which were adorbs.. and the Wait staff were dressed like our childhood favorite candies which were really cute.

Last night was my first time to visit Sky Bar. We were at a charity event downstairs and afterwards some of went to the rooftop. Didn't have to worry about being a member or paying since we were with the party. For my first experience I enjoyed myself. Definitely had a metropolitan feel. It was pretty windy last night so I'm glad I had my blazer. You're on the 20th floor if I'm not mistaken so it really is a great view. There were two bartenders so I never had to wait long for a drink and they seemed nice enough. To get to the restrooms you have to walk through the indoor pool area. Man was it hot almost felt like a sauna in there. But once you get to the restrooms it cools off again. Music was pretty good and definitely plenty of seating. We sat by the Jacuzzi most of the time we were there we just had finished standing for 5 hour straight we were beat. No one was in the pool or Jacuzzi by the way but then I'm not sure if they allow swimming during the "club" night. The pool lights were blue so it'll really amp'd up the look of the bar area. They also have VIP bed areas. It was pretty empty last night so none were occupied. Overall had fun for the brief time I was there, drinks were good, reasonably priced. I'd return on another warm cloud free night.

Nice place with an great view but Caters to spoiled kids. Also security let's anyone intoxicated through their doors definitely not worth spilled drinks and getting bumped into.

this place is amazing and they host the best parties with national known djs. I think Kevin Bell is the best DJ there, commonly confused for Dj Julian Rivera.

This place could be so much better, but when the overpriced drinks are watered down and they serve cheap wine for a lot of money it really gives you buyer's remorse, especially when the other clientele are friends of the bouncers. Unfortunately it is the only place to listen to music that is not baby boomer aged in a club atmosphere. So...stick to beer, it's the safe choice. I've been to much better places that deserve the drink prices.

The sky bar is a fun place to go for special occasions. I have been for Halloween (which wasn't very fun because it was unbearably cold.) I have been for a bach party which was a fun night in august. We got the VIP area which was definitely worth the cost. You receive bottle service, champagne, and a roped in area with a couch overlooking the boardwalk. You do generally need a membership to get in which keeps the bar with pretty classy guest.

AMAZING!!!! An exciting, high-class experience unlike any other at the Virginia Beach oceanfront!! It's a little bit more expensive (only by a few dollars) but COMPLETELY WORTH IT!! The drinks are strong, the service is exceptional, and the patrons are VB elite's! Great great spot

--3.5 stars-- I'm not big on going out to clubs, but this one is at the top of the Hilton and we got to go in for free. The security to get in at this place means business. Don't try to say your on the list when your not. There's no questions about that. It took awhile to get to the actual bar since our elevator kept stopping on almost every floor. Once up top, enjoy the view of the oceanfront. I don't think you can get a view like that anywhere else. When we got there, the music wasn't exactly in full swing, but built up to get everyone dancing. I was more amused by watching what was going on around me since there was some kind of conference going on that brought an interesting crowd to the place. Drinks were ridiculously priced. I asked my friends what they paid for and they said about $12 for a little cup. No thanks! Overall, nice views, but overpriced.

I had so much fun here! We went on Thursday for ladies night (because really, $200 membership?) and the DJ Might-E was fantastic! The view is pretty, although its hard to really enjoy it because there are too many VIP beds. The dance floor is small but we started dancing between the beds away from the floor and it was fine. Drinks were good!

Wow!! The view is fantastic and the atmosphere is very Bali-esque. This is a membership or invitation only bar. Our friends reserved the back corner with two waitresses which made the night very enjoyable. We didn't have to stand in line at the bar and were able to enjoy talking because of our location. There are two pools and hot tubs. One set is located outside on the deck and the atmosphere is amazing. My hubby and I were just guests, but I would seriously consider membership if we lived in the area. We were also told that they have a live DJ on the weekends. I liked the techno remixes and the week nights aren't nearly as crowded so there was plenty of room to dance.

Worst possible experience! Simple thing like a salad can't be done properly. Didn't expect a five star experience, but a BRICK avocado in my salad is not cool. Someone had to cut it and that someone saw how hard it was, right? And they still decided to put it in!!! AND when I ask to bring me a new one after multiple attempts to get the waiter's attention. Guess what? She brings me a spoiled avocado..... I am done with this place! Yes, it is right next door, but there is a zero chance you will find us there!

To all the reviewers who give this place more than one star, I've gotta think they're small-towners who don't really realize what a decent bar is. I left VB for the big city many years ago, and it's precisely places like Sky Bar that make me so happy I did. To-wit: 1. Waited forever to get in, while the self-important jackass doorman preened in his $195 S&K suit for the crowd. Finally got admitted, and had to pay a cover. I asked what the scene was upstairs, and he replied "a bunch of VIPs." 2. Apparently, by "VIPs," he meant "overweight 50-something businessmen in Tommy Bahama attire." 3. The server was unbelievably put-open and rude and unpleasant. And unattractive. 4. I ordered a Wild Turkey with a splash of ginger ale. What came was a Canadian Club with a splash of coke. No biggie, everyone makes mistakes. Except here's the thing - it wasn't a mistake. When I asked for the drink I ordered, she said that she got me that instead because they didn't have Wild Turkey upstairs, and she'd have to go down to the main bar to get it. In short, it's a great place for tiny-city redneck peons to feel hip, I guess. There are better ways of enjoying yourselves.

We bought a table, it was fine. DJ miMi was the worst and didn't take any of our requests. She was taking selfies the entire time. It was super frustrating because we put in multiple song requests - and really, we would have been fine with any song that played for longer that 2 minutes. We were really sad because our #1 priority was dancing and DJ Mimi seemed more focused on her air guitar than her music.

All I can say is, "F**** THIS PLACE!!" Bad atmosphere, and bad service. The servers are NOT your friends. They are more likely to get you kicked out than to give you decent service. Collared shirt? For what? It doesn't make this place any better. Losers and wannabes will feel right at home.

This place is suppose to be an exclusive place, yet it's a small area. Do was good but they view was horrible because all of the seating was roped off. The small wasn't worth the price that you pay. St. Louis 360 bar is 100x better than this piss poor place. The drinks were also poorly made for the price you payed.

After a terrible weather forecast we ended up going to Virginia beach and stayed at the Hilton oceanfront hotel, instead of going to Baltimore and eating crabcakes. After we made our reservation on Thursday my brother could only talk about this bar catch 31 seafood restaurant. We had been there about five or six years ago and it was just wonderful. But now not so much it literally smelled like the worst bar I've ever been in my life and believe me I've been in some terrible bars. The hotel and the staff were perfect room was nice beautiful we are on the 19th floor and believe it or not I could smell that bar 19 floors above it. I cannot believe this four-star hotel allows that smell it was literally the most disgusting thing well almost I've seen worse at Applebee's but it was horrible and it used to be such a beautiful bar and it still is beautiful It just stunk. There is no possible way you could eat food with that smell sorry guys but you need to clean it up

We'll, it's not open yet. Got a free invite, came up to check out the view and have some drinks. Well, the few is the best. Can't offer a review of the scene, but got a demonstration.... This place must rock.

Christopher the bouncer provided great customer service. He's the best and should get a raise !!! Came all the way from Fairfax Virginia and I couldn't have had a better night.

For the $200.00 membership fee that is only good for six months this place should have a broader drink selection, longer hours, and better prices for members! They only had a couple of white wines and no Disaronno. The bar on the first floor, which doesn't charge a cover has everything you can think of and I've gotten way better service there. The view is awesome, but the roof top gets crowded quick and with only 3 hours to spend there you may be in line most of the time. Dont waist your money here.

The place used to be great. It's really beautiful. Yet why I'm giving only three stars is completely incompetent manager. We were trying to book an event, she could never get back on timely manner, late to the meeting as well as getting back to emails and messages. Yet wasn't too busy posting on Facebook. Without confirming the event put our brand name on the online event flyers, misspelled it (how embarrassing) and put in wrong information in email which made everything everything even more confusing and not to mention completely unprofessional. Caused us to keep rescheduling and finally cancel the event with them. More stress than I'm ever willing to put up with. She might be ok for a local neighborhood bar not for a corporate place. Bad rep for Hilton.
