My experience was very disappointing. The only salvageable part of the night was the love and support from my friends and family…As an Army Veteran and Black business owner myself, I hosted my 30th Birthday dinner here. We paid a deposit for dedicated seating, a birthday sign, and 2 bottles of complimentary wine, none of which we received. Other guests were seated at our table despite our reservation signs, balloons, and occupants. Our one and only waitress was inattentive. The food is good but slow and pricey. The father/son managers are very friendly, but the overall service is poor.

Why nobody been told me about this place. Let me start with them salmon bites I don’t know who was back there cooking but them bites was biting, the wings were good not too big and fried perfectly, the steak bites were cooked perfectly but too much seasoning for me but my wife loved them. That seafood combo dinner was outstanding except the crab cakes were too salty for me, I was full after eating 3 of them large shrimp that were cooked perfectly not too much breading and it stayed on the shrimp, I took one bite out of that fried lobster tail and the ittus kicked in. Oh and the lamb chops were on point. My wife said her salmon was bussin as well. The waitress didn’t miss a beat when it came to serving us. You definitely get your money’s worth on anything that you order. Tell the chef or chefs not to change anything except a little less salt. Let me not forget about security they were doing there jobs. We found the Sky Bistro Lounge by chance. It is located downtown in walking distance to the hotel we stayed at. The music was good and added to the vibe. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The real question is how was the food? Let me say that the mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery. Silky the moment they hit your mouth. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, not soggy or weak. If you like fried fish, you will not be disappointed with the flounder! The ribs were tender and left us feeling full and satisfied! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Sky Bistro Review Sky Bistro has potential, but the experience left me a bit underwhelmed. The vibe was decent and the music was definitely a highlight; top tier, no complaints there. It created a great atmosphere, and that’s what initially drew me in. Service, however, could’ve been a lot better. The staff wasn’t exactly rude, but the attentiveness just wasn’t there. It felt like we were more of an afterthought than actual guests. Our food came out in about 10 minutes, which was surprisingly fast; but oddly enough, most of it was cold. That just didn’t make sense to me. The lamb chops, potatoes, and fried okra all looked good, but only the okra was hot;and it ended up being the best thing on the plate. Everything else was just… okay. Not bad, but not memorable either. We also tried the hookah, which was decent, but again, the service didn’t follow through. The girl who set it up had a great attitude, but wasn’t really attentive after that. Overall, Sky Bistro has a great atmosphere and music, but the food temperature and lackluster service brought the whole experience down. I'd go back for drinks and music; but not expecting much from the kitchen or service side unless things improve.

The atmosphere and vibe are definitely for a younger crowd, although I'm young at heart. They have 2 parts. One part is more laid back . I love that it's black owned, that's why I wanted to support it. The food was good, but the prices were on the high side for the portion, so make sure you have at least 100. We enjoyed the experience.

We extended our weekend of fun & had a great outing at the Sky Bistro Lounge in Columbia SC. The positive vibes were flowing throughout the place! I have no horror story. It wasn't that bad. The waitstaff was great. A bit underdressed for a quality restaurant, but very professional and attentive. My issues were #1) The Steak, for the price, was sub par. Cooked to perfection, but the quality and cut left alot to be desired. The salmon bites, Great! #2) The music, annoyingly loud, the lyrics were not suitable for a higher end establishment. Cater to your audience, in that case I may have been the one out of place. Overall it was a good experience, and I would encourage you to grab some ear plugs and go try the food! It's worth it. Be blessed.

I highly recommend!! The food was hot, fresh and delicious!! It has been a while since I cleared a plate like that. Service was spectacular, Christina was attentive, helpful and made sure our needs were met. Ambiance was nice and the dj had great a selection! I can't wait to return.

A nice meet up spot for a girlfriend's brunch that has upbeat music. The customer service and drinks were good. The food was ok. I love oysters (raw, steamed or charbroiled) so thought I would love these. But I was not impressed and only ate two. The salmon bites were ok but not really seasoned and tasted fishy. I opted to not have the skillet potatoes served with my surf and turf and added a separate order for the sweet potato waffle (no substitution). The waffle was really good. I added a fried lobster tail to my surf and surf and it was a bit salty. Overall I wouldn't run back for the food but if I wanted a spot to meet up with friends to enjoy Sunday brunch with mimosas and the sweet potato waffle I would be back.

I'm not going to lie I didn't know what to expect when we pulled up to Sky Bistro Lounge. We entered through the parking garage and everything looked real sketch but when I tell you the food in here SLAPS, it's not an overstatement. If you're looking for the lounge type vibe with good music, good food and good drinks, Sky Bistro Lounge is the place for you. Our waitress handled our large party with ease and a wonderful personality. The food was AMAZING! Especially the brussels sprouts. Our table had a bit of everything from salmon bites, to philly egg rolls, to wings and more. I had the sweet chili salmon with brussels and fingerling potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned to the tee! Definitely coming back!

I love going to Sky! They have great music and even better food. The service is nice & they stay on top of things despite how busy it gets. It's always clean on both levels and provides a fair amount of seating.

The food is delicious, hot fresh several items you wouldn't think would be available so quickly but the service is lousy The servers are slow take their time getting you napkins, water ice simple things but you want a 15% -20% gratuity on one person. Make it make cents

What a great place to unwind. The food is top tier. The music was jumping. My server was sooo nice and adorable. Although I can see the owners or friends of owners like to be performative. They are there but they aren't present. The owner sat at the end of the bar with a group of women smoking hookah and laughing while the bartender was struggling in the worst way possible. I ordered two old fashions and before they hit the table I was asking what the they made me. It had muddled strawberries lol by the time I got our drinks we were paying the tab. But homie never stopped blowing oooh's in the air with the lady friends. Smh by the end she had 4 people helping her and on the internet. Its cool tho.

The Food was AWESOME!!!!... Me and my friends were definitely satisfied... our bartender Simone was WONDERFUL!!!! Although the music wasn't our vibe but the FOOD made up for that with us!!!! Do a nice Jazz Band twice a month or so... and our age group will be there in droves....... But nevertheless I already plan to return and I am spreading the word on that about that Food!!! GREAT JOB TO THE COOKS!!!!THEY ROCK!!!! MRD...

I came here to meet my sister for drinks and small bites. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The hookah was flavorful and robust. We took advantage of their 50 cent wings, which were tasty. The only downside was the wait time for my delicious strawberry lemon-drop, which was definitely the wait!

Not at all what is advertised! Friendly people but no where does it state it's a hookah lounge!

The lamb chops were amazing! Service was attentive and the vibe was the "hangout" kind of vibe. If you like music and singing aloud, this is the place for you!

Went on a date. Drinks were good & I enjoyed the bar. Bartender was very professional and knew her job. The food was just ok. I had something & the date had the NY Strip & fries. He said it was good but looked average to me. Oh yeah I had the greasy Brussels sprouts. Not sure about the seasoning. The hamburger was abysmal & over cooked. They left off all accoutrements. Bar food is elevated these days. They need to do better. Will not patronize again. On the fence about a second date

Sky Bistro is a great place to hangout with your friends in downtown Columbia. They offer a variety of food options from Ribeye to elevated grilled cheese sandwiches. While my steak was a bit more blue than I would like, I really enjoyed the broccoli, mac and cheese and shrimp pasta. In a collage town, I really appreciated that they have security outside to check Id's so an old timer can have laid back good time with her friends. The waitress was exceptional and should be nominated for waitress of the year of that's even a thing.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. This was the most awful dinning experience I've ever encountered. Waited over an hour for food. The food is cold. Its Mother's Day yet my mom was the last to be served. We are still currently waiting on my mom's food and my small side. Expensive food with the poorest service. No hate to the server but the establishment needs to do better.

We went for my friend birthday dinner. Downstairs environment: The environment was a whole vibe. From the music to the waitress and people it created am environment from young crowd to older crowd. Before 10, the staff is dressed nice, but after 10.. baby...Ass, thighs and breast just OUT. It's not a trashy dress but I was just shocked at how quickly the environment changed. Food: The food was good. It came out hot. The spinach dip was AMAZING with the pita chips to top it off. I could eat the pita chip by itself. The spinach dip was creamy and hot. For the stuffed chicken breast, I was warned it takes the longest to cook. When I saw the chicken breast I was like this is it for $22?? Mannnnn, what the world. The Mac and cheese was amazingly delicious. I just think the portion could be better for the amount of money spent. Up-Stair environment: This area is definitely the younger crowd. It's a nice vibe. Hookah is amazing and the drinks are watery but it was ok. After about 6 drinks you start to feel something. Overall it was a great experience. I would return for happy hour to see what it's really offering. Stay tuned

Sky Bistro is awesome! I've been there several times! Brunch is also unique! They have delish food & one- of-a kind mimosas! Staff are exceptional!! I was the only Caucasian in the Bistro as this is a predominantly black lounge. Atmosphere is rockin!! I highly recommend! They also have specials each night!

I had the ribs with Gouda Mac and cheese with asparagus. The ribs had a crispy crust and fell off the bone and just melted in your mouth. So delicious. They said that there was a downstairs where the music is not near as loud. We stayed upstairs and it was loud but enjoyable. Service was good. Left us alone just enough. Could have kept my husband sweet tea filled up more but as I was typing she was on it. My husband tore up my Mac and cheese and that's saying a lot since he's not much of a Mac and cheese guy. It's really great food folks and I'm glad we stopped by.

Food was great besides the wings i wish they were fried wings not baked. our server was amazing she was on her ishhhhh. props to her she knows how to do her job as a server. the vibe was great the music was ON POINT!!! over all i'll give it a 9/10 if the wings were fried y'all would've got a 10‼‼‼

New in town and just stopped in for a beer and wings. Good clean place with great service. Dee the bartender was very attentive and the food comes out hot and covered which is a nice touch. The staff is really cool. One of them changed the tv to the game I was wanting and seemed to go the extra mile to make everything comfortable. I'll be back

My friends and I went for Sunday brunch and the service was amazing. Marie and Lana were very attentive. They communicated well throughout our meal and had suggestions for food and drinks. The music was bomb and very brunch (not club!) appropriate. The lamb chops were impeccable. I recommend 10/10 lol.

We went to 3 other restaurants before coming here and none of them were able to accommodate us. We randomly came here and we're so glad we did. The food was delicious. Our drinks were on point and the service was excellent. The musical selections were impeccable. Definitely a vibe on a Sunday. We will be back!

Came here for the first time last night and had excellent service from the bartender, Shy! My salmon I ordered was slightly undercooked and she immediately took it off my bill and brought me a new meal that was great. Staff was very friendly and food very good. Would recommend!

I am very disappointed with my service at the Sky Bistro for brunch. Our server was not interested in properly serving me and my team. We ordered our food, drinks & hookah to start. We were not offered complimentary waters while we wait for our things. when our food came we were not offered condiments to help complete our meals. The food was given to us and she walked away Not asking if we needed anything. my eggs were cold, we wanted ice for our warm drinks but our server did not even come back to see if everything was okay. I had to bother another server who got us ice, and had to change my eggs. We were a party of 3 and one of my girls didn't get her food until 10 min later and not even a warning that her food was delayed was given. It was just a bad experience all and all For brunch. We have been there for R&B night on Thursdays and the experience is 10x different. The servers smile, interact and checks in. I like if I am paying for something, not second guess it. Yall need to do a little better with your brunch staff.

The Food was great & so was the service. The hookah girls were friendly. I went back to back days and it was great both days. I went on a Tuesday & Wednesday.
