Excellent casino. I don't gamble. I have zero luck. That is until I meet my wife. Anyway went there to eat lunch. Very nice food court. As well very nice sit down dinning. Will go back try the nice dinner house.

I’ve been to The Humidor cigar lounge many times, and every time I’ve enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent service. However, a few weeks ago, I had an experience that was a bit disappointing. I mentioned it to Alex, and he immediately apologized and confidently invited me back, assuring me it wouldn’t happen again. Fast forward to last week—I returned and was warmly greeted by the host, which made me feel welcome right away. Alex recommended a fantastic cigar paired with a perfect bourbon, and let’s just say, the night started and ended on a high note. Alex is AMAZING, and incredibly knowledgeable about cigars, and Dean, the manager, even took the time to chat with me despite it being a busy night. I really appreciated that personal touch. The Humidor is definitely the spot. Highly recommend!

We like the food at the burger place. I feel like the burgers are getting smaller. They are delicious though. I do wish other restaurants in the casino were open better hours. We rarely get to try anything else. This time we also had the biscuits and gravy.. a definite pass for me. The sausage inside is just not good. Idk what it is. They are big portions though so if you like them, go for it. That's a 1x thing for me.

Went to the steakhouse there, the place is beautiful. The waitress we had was okay and the food well that was okay as well. The cocktails though were great and so was the banana cheesecake dessert. I expected the food to be fabulous for the prices you pay you. My petite fillet minion was supposed to be medium rare but was more like well done. My baked potatoe was luke warm. My sister later that night ended up by hurting sick and well there went her 100$ meal down the drain. Very disappointed.

Google
It was clean, didn't smell like smoke, and had a good variety of games/food/drinks. Good parking. Has bingo if you want. I haven't won here yet, but probably will return.

So we went in there to spend time with visiting family members from out of town. The gambling floor was nicely attended by plenty of people serving drinks. I found my way into the Humidor Bourbon and Cigar lounge. The selection of allocated bourbons is nice. The selection of Cigars is pretty grand as well. They offer help with pairing cigars and drinks which is nice too. They seem to offer a full experience to have a great voyage. I had not ever tried Elmer T Lee since it’s pretty darn impossible to find at a decent price. So I finally got to taste it. Over all we had a great time!!

Lots of slot choices. Great restaurant options. So I took my elderly dad they wouldn’t get five stars however when we were leaving he had just got over being ill. Midway through the casino he couldn’t walk anymore he was so weak. I asked staff if there was a wheelchair we could borrow to take him to the car. She said it wasn’t up to her, sent me to the security guard which I asked him politely if there was anyway wheelchair would be available to wheel my elderly father to the car as he couldn’t walk he was not feeling well. His response was we don’t do that only in an emergency I looked at him and said well it is an emergency when there’s a senior shortness of breath and having difficulty walk. So he didn’t try to solve the issue we were having and just flat out said no.

Yelp
I don't go to Sky River casino much because the few times I've been, I have not done well, and lose too quickly to enjoy a little play time before it takes my limit. Plus, there are no incentives provided to me to make a special trip, until this visit. I went for the Lunar New Year celebration and lion dance, and special offers. I enjoyed the lion and dragon dance that traveled the entire inside of the casino at 3:00 pm. The lions and dragon were beautiful, and the dancers were very good in mimicking their movements. Staff tossed chocolate coin candies, but not enough for many to enjoy. The other promotional new year incentive was gambling to earn entries into a contest, which required you to check in and activate at 6:00 pm to see how many entries you earned, for the contest beginning at 7:00 until 10:30. Each half hour, a name was drawn, and that winner would pick a number to see what they won. That means there could only be 8 winners to benefit from the promotion. That's not very encouraging. I'm glad I enjoyed the lion dance though, because it ended up costing quite a bit.

Yelp
This casino is disappointing. I received a counterfeit $10 bill from change in their food court only I didn't know it was until I tried to use it on a slot machine. It would not work so I called for service if they could exchange it. Eventually, about 5 security and service workers came up to me and let me know that it was counterfeit. They asked for my ID and I complied. The security supervisor. R P. then told me that I had to leave the casino for the night. It's just crazy and embarrassing being treated like I'm a criminal as you know, if you go to the casino, you spend a lot. It would have just been a bit nicer, if there was some sincerity and discreetness when kicking me out, like just say, "Unfortunately, we understand that you're a regular player here but because of this counterfeit bill, it's policy that we have to ask you to leave tonight. I'm sorry. You're welcome to return tomorrow." I understand the ask to leave but I got the money from their establishment. I'm not trying to get in trouble for $10, but they took it from me, and kicked me out. Smh. At least put that on some free play on my card or give it back so I could use it for some groceries. Lol. This place can be fun tho, but it's crowded on Saturdays. I guess the good thing about being treated like that is it makes me feel like not going there anymore so I'm not losing money.

Yelp
There is no doubt that this casino is one of the newest in the town, but there is a major problem here . The air conditioner is not working. the air in the casino is dead and filthy. I visited this place only Once and when I got home , I had an awful headache. Please note that bringing cash will save you to not spending money on the atm machine fees for 12$.

Yelp
Sky River happens to be one of the newest casinos in the area and it's located in the beautiful city of Elk Grove right off of the 99 freeway. It's probably one of the most convenient casinos to come to since it is right off the freeway and easy to get to. Sky River isn't too small but it also isn't the biggest casino. They have a few restaurants, small food court, cigar bar, tons of slots, good selection of table games and so on. I wish I could tell you how the food is but I'm usually so focused and occupied that I literally starve myself when I'm there lol. I have a love/hate relationship with this casino because some days I'm winning on the slots and other days I lose so bad and want to leave crying lol. But this happens to be the first casino that I've ever won a handpay at and that alone is a big plus!! They have all of the "Lock It Link" slot machines that I love, they aren't as tight as the ones at Thunder Valley and do give good bonuses. Aside from losing money there often the other downsides would be the parking. While the parking lot is pretty spacious, it does fill up quick and if you don't come early or you come on the weekends you may find yourself circling the lot a few times. Other downsides are there is no hotel and no buffet. Also, it's hard to get free play here. I did read that they have plans to expand and build a hotel and even center sometime in 2027, so that will be nice. Overall, it's your average casino and given that it's still pretty new I will cut them some slack. I recommend coming here to check it out but don't expect too much. I'm sure in a few years it may be on the level of Thunder Valley and Cache Creek but for now it's good for its convenient location.

Yelp
We recently visited the Sky casino. It's a nice place if you're into gambling. I went to see the hype and the crazy long lines that were forming outside the facility for months. We didn't stay for more than 5 to 10 minutes because of the smoke. Great place for people to get drinks and enjoy the whisky area.

Yelp
For those of you wondering, I am not much of a casino person nor have I engaged in much gambling during my adult life. However, my late mother loved going to casinos as she went any chance she could. Going back to this casino, ever since this place made its debut back in the summer of 2022, I figure why not give it a try and see what it has to offer. This is none other than "Sky River Casino" which happens to be the very first casino to be build in the County of Sacramento; the other close casinos are "Thunder Valley" in Placer County, "Cache Creek" in Yolo County, "Jackson Rancheria" in Amador County, and "Redhawk Casino" in El Dorado County. Located in Elk Grove and directly to the right of Highway 99 and just north of Grant Line Rd., this casino is situated at the same site where the proposed (and now ill-fated) "Lent Ranch Mall" was supposed to be built in the mid-2000's. This undeveloped land sat for nearly 15 years before Sky River Casino was built. As far as the exterior layout, the parking lot is spacious but at the same time, quite confusing as there were several raised islands throughout. However, there are enough spots to accommodate thousands of guests as well as a free shuttle that runs 24/7 that drop you off at the main entrance. As for the interior layout, this building is roughly 100,000 square feet complete with over 2,000 slot machines, 80+ table games, and entertainment throughout. Surprisingly, many people skip the gambling and come for the dining. This is where you have the option of several major restaurants/lounges including "SR Prime Steakhouse", "32 Brews Street", "Dragon Beaux", and "The Humidor". There is also an open food court type area that includes all types of cuisines including Mexican, burgers, pizza, Japanese, Vietnamese, boba, American, and other options that offers coffee, breakfast, and desserts. As for my food experience, it was average for us as I ate sushi while my lady opted for chicken and brussels sprouts. My sushi was made delicious and set me back $17 for the roll with a self-serve fountain drink. However the chicken my lady had was lukewarm and a little on the drier side. I would recommend going to some of the higher end places for a better dining experience. But the food area was quite spacious as I did not feel cramped in any way. And as for the overall machines and tables that this place offers, there are a ton of options. Everything that ranges from the 1¢ slots and up as well as several tables that include blackjack, craps, baccarat, and much more. I ended up partaking in the 25¢ digital slot machines where I put in $5 and walked out with $50. So at least I walked out with more than when I came in. The payouts here can vary greatly with high minimums. However, I didn't encounter many cocktail waitresses as nobody approached us in the 30 or so minutes that we were at the machines. One final thing I wanted to mention is that the lingering smell of cigarette smoke can be overwhelming for many people. This casino does not have a smoke-free area as other casinos do. However, I hope as time goes on that this place will eventually get a dedicated hotel, shopping area, and more nearby entertainment. Since it is a gamble if you come up winning or losing, "Sky River Casino" is a nice addition to this part of Sacramento County. My rating, just an average three stars.

Yelp
Updating review since they opened. This is the 4th time we have visited. Came this morning and thought being New Years Day that it might be busy but it was not. There was security doing bag checks that was not there before. The lady said they have done that since opening. I don't think so. They don't really look all that great (they peek as you open your bag) so it seems more intrusive rather than helpful. I ended up winning $50 ahead after a few hours of playing slots. There is a decent selection and the lay out is not crowded. What i really like is their food court. I like the selection. They opened a new breakfast cafe type place (was formally fried chicken) that had a really long line. The food look fresh and hearty. I like that they have a self serve drink station after you buy your cup. i like that they cash out machines give you the option to donate your loose change instead of being wasted or bothered to go to the cash cage with. Thunder does not do this. I like that there are cocktail waitresses that roll around a cart with ready made non-alcoholic drinks. Other casinos in so. cal do this. It is efficient. However after I took the wrapper off my straw, the gal says, "I don't take garbage." She said it nicely but thought that was rather poor customer service for something so small. It is only 2 years old and still looks nice and modern. People complain of the smoke but for me it was not near as noticeable as other casinos. Anyway, I generally enjoyed my visit and plan on coming more often now that my comps at Thunder Valley has greatly declined.

Yelp
I guess this is the next best thing if you miss going to Las Vegas. I didn't even know about this casino. My friends suggested that we stop by here and guess what? We stopped by in the afternoon and came back at night to play slot machines. I noticed they have a few restaurants inside and wish I had more time to try food here. They also have a giveaway while we went. We got a teapot for having a certain amount of points in our cards. There are a lot more people at night and we can barely find free spots for slot machines. There are no free drinks here, you have to pay for these. There are staff members going around with carts though. I didn't get to check if there is a buffet inside but won't that be a good addition if they don't have one already? I like that the casino is bright and the restrooms are clean. I'd stop by again.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. I'm not much of a gambler so I don't come here as often even though I'm a couple of miles away. They offer card playing, roulette, different types of slot machines. They even have a high roller area as well. All these machines have lots of sounds and pretty lights. They also have many restaurants and fast food type eateries as well. They also offer a rewards program for the frequent patrons. Well, it's for everyone. It would be beneficial to be here more often to earn the points! They have a DJ spinning on Friday nights. There's a bourbon and cigar lounge for those who enjoy the leisure cigar smoking and sips of bourbon!! Even though they have been open a while, I believe this is only the first phase. They are to build a luxury hotel and spa as well. Hopefully they will add concerts, too. Overall, a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends and play a few slot machines. The only downside is that they do not have a smoke free area. If you're playing on a slot machine and someone is a chain smoker next to you, you have to move away from your favorite slot machine! We ended up wearing a mask while playing.

Yelp
Sky River kills it again. I had the pleasure of working with Taylor today at the 24hr breakfast. She was an amazing server and made really good conversation not that it matters but she's a mom. She was just unbelievable sweet to me. I can't even begin to thank her for her kindness and the love that she showed me to a stranger. She didn't even know. I'm really excited to get, but I've been here before and it's gonna be amazing. I'm glad that I can enjoy myself here.

Yelp
AWARENESS: A new Casino in El Grove? Let's go! NARRATIVE: Myself and a few of my family members decided to visit Sky River for the first time a few months back. We actually went on a weekday to avoid a large crowd. Well, that didn't work. When we arrived, the parking lot was full and the place was jam packed. The casino itself is a good size with a fairly decent amount slot machines, card and other games of chance. I really enjoyed playing in the high limits room because, they had some of those "old school" slots I enjoy. I didn't see anyplace where alcohol was being offered but, they do have various fast food at their food court. I also saw a nice steak house but, no one in my party ate so, I have nothing to report there. SCENE: Sky River Casino is located in the city of Elk Grove, right off the 99 freeway at the Grantline Road exit. Parking can be a challenge and during my time there, I did not see any type of shuttle bus system from the lot to the entrance. RECOMMENDATION(S): I'm not a huge gambler so, I can only judge based on what I did and saw.

Yelp
One and Done [Elk Grove CA] Sky River Casino opened its doors on September 2022 but we were only able to visit the casino for the first time last month. We brought my Mom with us. Upon entry we were greeted by three security personnel. Although there were many doors to enter the casino from we were funneled into one opening to enter and have them check our purses. What da heck... what casino still does this? Since it was our first time there we were encouraged to sign up for their rewards card to get $15 Free Play. We all got in line at their Players Club to the right. There weren't that many people in the queue but the 3 employees behind the counter were slow as molasses signing people up... My Mom is the one who enjoys the machines... we are just there to watch her so she doesn't go overboard LoL! She likes playing the slot machines but even with all the $$ she puts in and the $15 Free Play none of the machines were lucky, not even let you win a little to tease first timers. She said she'd rather try her luck at Red Hawk. Since it was my birthday month last month I was given a $5 Dining Credit to DESSERTS to indulge my sweet tooth. We walked over to the shop only to find out that they were closed even though their business hours said 11:00a to midnight on Saturdays. We were there at Noon. Well, that was it... we left. Yelp
Past Tuesday was the first time I visited this casino . We went there for prime rib dinner . It was a special deal for $32 with the Thirty Two Gastro pub inside the casino . It was available only on Monday and Tuesday night and may need to call in advanced to verify if it is still available. We have 3 orders of prime ribs, rare and it was 16 oz cut with cooked zucchini dice on the side . The meat was very high quality. Cooked to perfection. In the other steak house inside the casino , it would have cost $75 or above . Definitely a good deal and the taste was fantastic! Better than most steak house in Sacramento. Highly recommended. We went early like 5 pm because we like it rare and it may be sold out quick . The waiter had excellent service as well .

Yelp
I took a drive on Sunday afternoon, the day before MLK Day, and stopped in here for lunch. I went to the brewery and had a Caesar Salad, chicken wings, and a burger with/ fries. It was all good. I watched the playoff games and could see the game anywhere you sat. "The Humidor" new Cigar Lounge is a lovely and relaxing full-service lounge, and the servers are excellent. Get a CIGAR AND order A DRINK OR EVEN FOOD. They got all the heavy hitters. There is a dress code, but it was not implemented yet.

Allen B.

Yelp
Great assortment of Slot Games. Love the layout, Bars, Restaurants etc. The Humidor has a Great selection of Bourbon and Cigars. Players club is cool. Clean and very minimal smoke. This is definitely the place to be A+++++

David C.

Yelp
Thee worst casino for cigarette smoke!!! How can you have a brand new building and it be so damn bad. It's disgusting and leaks into the eating areas. People smoking everywhere all over. I thought there was a designated smoking area and even that's horrible. No ventilation so my very expensive outfit smelled like crap just after having dinner at the highly disappointing hot pot. I'd rather drive to the other casinos any day for gambling than be stuck inside this smoke chamber. Let's Pot is the best in the area and theirs sadly is the worst.

Anthony K.

Yelp
38 chargers installed and no one can ever use them since they're either blocked by a gas car or someone not charging. What's even the point having these chargers there? Start towing these cars, you're losing money on all these cars not paying to use these chargers.

May Lee L.

Yelp
Been to this casino several time and never once I win anything. The slot machine are not good to me ;( as far as for table games, the worker does not seem happy to interact with their customers or maybe they just need little bit more training but this casino is not for me.

Rajesh B.

Yelp
1 less star being non-smoker, otherwise all good about this place They have big parking, lots of slot machines, card games, on top of that food is really good

Anthony V.

Yelp
From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with beautiful landscaping and ample parking. You walk into exceptional customer service, and a beautifully laid out Casino floor with a large variety of table games and a good selection of slot machines. Every transaction goes smoothly and all customers are treated with the utmost respect, security does an amazing job of protecting the property inside and out along with the fact that you have easy access to the casino which is directly off of the 99 freeway makes this a perfect destination, especially if you're hungry you can dine at one of their amazing restaurants that have some beautifully crafted food and drinks. All in all this Casino is a win for me and I believe that you will enjoy it as well. Now lets hit some jackpots

Sharon P.

Yelp
I literally live 15 minutes away from Sky River Casino. I go on Wednesdays most often because they have a promotion that I qualify for. Last Wednesday, I went and won close to $200. This is the most I've won at this location. Can't say I've always given it a good review, but since I won recently, I'm happy about that. More importantly, I want to go and try some of the restaurants out. I would love to have someone go with me and get some content.

Terry W.

Yelp
Did good last night ! Thank you Sky River! We won ! Time to celebrate all night ! Good times !

Yelp
Step into this casino and prepare to be pleasantly surprised by its pristine interior--cleanliness reigns supreme, though the lingering scent of smoke may catch you off guard. If you're sensitive to such odors, I'd recommend donning an N95 mask to ensure your comfort during your visit. But fear not, non-gamblers, for the real treasure lies tucked away at the back of the casino floor: the food court. A veritable feast awaits, with tantalizing options that'll have you salivating at first sight. Though I regret not capturing the culinary magic on camera during my family's birthday celebration, trust me when I say it's a dining experience worth savoring. One particular gem caught my eye--a taco counter boasting al pastor on the spit and freshly made tortillas that promise to transport your taste buds to new heights. Stay tuned for my verdict after my next visit. And let's not forget the steakhouse--a beacon of culinary excellence that beckons with the promise of unforgettable dining. While it may be a splurge, word on the street suggests it's worth every penny. For now, I'll reserve that elusive fifth star until I've sampled these culinary delights firsthand. After all, I'm a discerning reviewer, having doled out only a handful of five-star ratings in four years. Watch this space for updates on my gastronomic adventures!

Yelp
My night went well, at first I was losing but I didn't give up I came up on $600 I left a happy camper.

Yelp
Around this time of the year there are two things that I look forward to, eating delicious holiday treats and slowing down to spend quality time with friends and family. Therefore, I was ecstatic when a friend of mine suggested that we have a guy's night out to catch up and enjoy some adult beverages. What made me even happier was when he suggested that we meet at Sky River Casino! Although I do not gamble (no judgement against those who do), I have been looking forward to checking out the casino for multiple reasons: it's in my backyard of Elk Grove, some of my tax dollars were allocated to building and maintaining it, and it houses one of Yelp's highest rated burger establishments in Elk Grove! When we arrived I was astounded by the size of the parking lot, then I remembered that this was originally supposed to be a shopping mall. Considering how busy the casino was, we found parking fairly quickly. I was pleased to see private security and Elk Grove PD driving through the parking lot to ensure that vehicles remained safe. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly security guard that checked our identifications. As we perused the casino, we observed a food court, multiple bars, and restaurants independent of the food court. We also observed a cigar lounge that will be opening in the near future, please note that it may have opened by the time you have read this review. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. While walking around, a friendly employee with an alcohol cart (I'm pretty sure that it's called something that's more sophisticated), stopped to see if we needed anything; ironically, a friend of mine wanted and purchased a beer. While walking to the River Bar for our first round of drinks, I took notice of something that I have never seen in a casino before....clear air! You're probably thinking, "what does he mean by clear air?" I'm referring to the lack of smoky (cloudy) haze that one typically sees in a casino. Although there were lots of people smoking, it appears that the casino has a state of the art filtration system that keeps the air smoke free. During the 4+ hours that we spent here, we felt completely safe and thoroughly enjoyed having a comfortable space to chat. My wife (whom has been before) shared with me that there is an outdoor area with table games; although we did not get an opportunity to see that portion of the casino, I definitely look forward to coming back and checking it out. If you're looking for a place to congregate, gamble, drink, eat, smoke (please keep in mind that you cannot smoke Cannabis), or get your 10k steps for the day, I highly recommend checking out Sky River Casino!

Charles F.

Yelp
Good place, went here multiple times. Thankful they have more security around the place and at entrances. Bottles aren't allowed in and bags need to be checked. Favorite part here is the food court with a good mix of food from prime rib sandwiches to Mexican food to Gunthers ice cream at $9.95, for banana split or hot fudge sundae. They also had prime rib sandwich which I look forward to trying next time. Got some seats that had mood lighting and it's a spacious, clean establishment.

Michael S.

Yelp
I am giving this casino our famous 5 + rating. The staff here are all excellent. Friendly and helpful. The casino games are great and very reasonable min for a Saturday night. The dealers on the tables we have seen so far are excellent. And the place is extremely clean and well laid out In the lounge as we speak and the friendliness of the staff is just incredible. Great people , place , gaming , parking It is all superior !!! Highly recommend you come and enjoy !!!

Yelp
This place is starting to be ridiculous. While playing today11:00am, many security guards stand in the fareway and next to my machine. They stop a guy and ask his name..normal procedure. It turns out their arresting him. A lady with him runs up and tries to dislodge him from security. In interim of this action she hits my sore foot. A female security tells her to back up and that she shouldn't put her hands on anyone. Question: Why wasn't she arrested? I'm frustrated now! She just ran over my foot-like. I stopped 3 floor employees and told them about the issue- "Thanks for letting us know". I also told them about the two previous times and the people selling and touching my jewelry around my neck without permission (no concern seen). I stop one of the officers that was asset with detainment, and he also seemed not concerned. I'm not going to even speak on the feeling I had when first entering today, in the high- limits. It's like if you're not Asian, your suspect. Yes, I feel a certain way. Now my foot is hurting again and I'm finally, home. You go to have a good time and then have to recuperate from the casino experiences. The only good thing about this casino right now, is my host-John Do

Glenn L.

Yelp
Came by on a Saturday morning and it was pretty quiet. Still a lingering smoke smell here. Lots of slots and some table games. More roulette than I imagined. Had to go with craps at the machines in a circle. Was pretty hard to just stay even. No free drinks besides water, but a soda at the food court is unlimited refills.

Yelp
Last night we took our uncle here to enjoy his day after his surgery few weeks ago. This place is not so great! 5 security guards on the entrance door to check bags which they don't really check your bag, they just used their small flashlight and put a light inside your bags. We decided to get a member card and the lady said we have to spend and play $25.00 in order for us to see if we have points, so that's just say they do not give any free play for new members unlike other Casinos everywhere such as Cached Creek, Hard Rock Cafe, Thunder Valley etc. this place is awful from parking lot, slot machines, securities and more.people are unfriendly and the machines doesn't give anything but taking your money I've did a lot of review on Casinos and this one is not so great! 2.5 stars for this place says a lot! To improve your business train your employees to smile and greet people, approach all guests when they walk in. I've never hear anyone says Thank you! Not even when we went to get our coffee. Everyone has an attitude. Like it's our fault that we're all there. If you're all want to win big go to Cached Creek. People are friendly.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this casino is adults only, they are currently building a hotel attached but right now its a casino restaurants and bars. Ok all that being said wow!!! Yelp
Really like this casino! Clean, less smokey than other casinos (excellent air filtration system), and with really, really excellent food and restaurant choices!! Think Dragon Beaux (excellent Chinese food), Koi Express by Koi Palace (dim sum and snacks), and Chickie's Pizzeria. The -1 star is due to their "tight" slot machines, with much worse win rates compared to many other casinos such as Hard Rock or Thunder Valley. We typically take the "old folks" here for slot play, and get to enjoy a nice meal at one of their restaurants. Service at this casino is very good. Staff are always friendly, helpful and willing to help. It's a bummer that they don't have hotel rooms (yet). Overall a nice time at Sky River and we'll be back soon!

Yelp
What can improve Lord there isn't enough space on this page. Management is Horrible They treat their employees wrong You have to walk on eggshells shells. I feel for the Employees

Yelp
Great place to go for a chill night but their slot machine is always so tight and I never once win from here ;( coming out from this casino your clothes will smell like you been burned in a fire because the cigarette smell are bad bad!! Maybe they just need better ventilation.

Yelp
Came here for the first time for my Dad's birthday. I'm not much of a gambler, just came here for my dad to eat and watch everyone else gamble. It's a nice, small casino with a few restaurants inside. We ate at 32 Brew Street inside and it was really good. They accommodated our big party pretty quickly and the service was great.

Yelp
Great casino in a easy access part of Elk Grove, CA. Friendly staff especially in 32 Brew St. Restaurant have been there several times for sports games and I have to say Dale the bartender is great at customer service and attentiveness towards patrons. He deserves a raise!

Yelp
I went on a Friday around noon with family and had a great experience. I live in Vegas so wasn't sure what to expect. Lots of parking, huge lot. Security was at the entrance and was efficient. The officer apologized that he had to look in my handbag upon entering, which did not bother me at all. I enrolled in their players club and you receive $20 free play. The employee that signed me up was very friendly. The place is clean and didn't smell like smoke as in many casinos. Good variety of slot machines, lots of the popular and new ones. They also have video poker and keno games with some having similar pay outs to Vegas. There are also table games, although I didn't take a look at what they were. The cocktail servers and slot/casino employees I encountered seemed nice enough, I didn't have much interaction but they were approachable. There were 4 of us and we tried to eat at 32 Brews Street. It's a good sized restaurant and there were maybe 3 small tables of people and they said there would be a 20 minute wait, with a whole restaurant basically wide open. On a Friday at 1:20pm? The place wasn't even close to being busy- that to me is ridiculous. It's obviously a staffing or management issue. Ended up going to The Market, which is a Food Hall with several restaurants. We ordered slices from Chickie's. The cashier was pleasant and efficient. Pizza was fine. I saw several reviews complain about the casino not allowing children, even to dine at the restaurants. It clearly states on their website you have to be 21 to be in the casino. Many casinos, also in other states have this rule, so it's not just Sky River. I give the casino 5 stars but with the wait for 32 Brews Street, it went down to a 4. Overall we all had a FUN time here and would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
This is a decent size casino. Good amount of tables and slot machines. They also have a decent amount of food options at the food court. They offer Chinese, Mexican, Italian, chicken burger spot, burger spot etc...I didn't make much of a profit playing but I did end up winning vs losing. If you're in the area stop by and try your luck. Maybe you'll be luckier than I was LOL. P.s. they also have a coffee spot at the food court that offer PEETS COFFEE!

Yelp
Casino has improved much since the long lines and slow service. I have kept going. The Casino is a great place to have fun.

Yelp
Very clean and friendly staff. Cigarette smell isn't as bothersome as other casinos. Maybe because it's newer.

Yelp
"Sky River Casino is one of the worst casinos I've ever visited, especially when it comes to the slot machines. The machines are ridiculously tight--don't even think about winning here. It felt like I was just throwing money away with absolutely no payout in return. On top of that, the variety of machines is unimpressive. Most of them seem outdated, and even the newer ones don't offer much excitement. The screen on one machine I used was glitchy, but when I tried to report it, the staff didn't seem to care. If you're hoping for even a little fun or the occasional jackpot tease, this is NOT the place. The machines here are a total rip-off, and I regret wasting my time and money. Do yourself a favor and avoid this casino entirely."

Yelp
Sad to report the EV charging is no longer free, but 25 cents/kWh. Be extra mindful about unplugging your car when done or you will be hit with a $5/hour idle fee! Koi Palace Express now has wonton mein, and it's decent but not awesome or anything. The wontons are ok size and have good amount of shrimp and taste good (but missing that fermented shrimp paste). The noodles are a little snappy but not like in HK. Broth has adequate flavor but maybe I prefer a bit more. The choy sum veggies is a nice touch, since some places cheap out using napa cabbage. There's also a sandwich restaurant in the food court called Roli Roti that I never noticed that I need to try next time. Friends of mine tried their prime rib sando and it looked pretty good!

Yelp
I have witnessed several absurd situations. Security guards would not allow people to bring water inside. For instance, a lady carrying a small water bottle was asked by security to open it for inspection, claiming that the bottle could be used as a weapon. If that's the case, chairs, ashtrays, and liquor bottles in the casino could also be considered weapons. The lady just wanted to bring some hot water to drink; why is it so difficult? I also play inside, and sometimes I don't see a server for hours. It's impossible to go hours without drinking water, right?
