Oh man, this place is sooooooooo good. I honestly wasn’t expecting to be blown away, but Skyrocket Burger in Frisco absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor — you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The fries were crispy and fresh, and everything just hit the spot. The vibe inside is super chill too, making it a great place to grab a meal and hang out. I seriously can’t wait to go back and try even more from their menu. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere near Frisco!

The name was bold — the burger? Mid-level lift off. 🍔🚀 Spot was clean, the vibe was solid, but the flavor didn’t take me to the moon like I hoped. Burger was okay. Not bad, but not memorable. Fries were forgettable. Staff was cool, service was steady. Atmosphere gave off a good look. It’s not a bad stop — just didn’t match the hype in my book. This location was near our hotel so we gave it a try and super happy we did! The shake was a 10/10 not too thick and not too thin with plenty of flavor. The burger was exactly what you would want from a frosty type spot! I love the smashed style burger with all the fixings. The portion of fries was good for the size and the grilled cheese was cooked perfectly, such a great find!

I visited because someone left a review saying how big and juicy the burger was. While the burger was tasty, it was not big and juicy. Basic smash burger. But it came out hot and fresh. I think to really taste the meat, you have to order a double meat burger. Otherwise, you're definitely getting more bread and toppings than meat.

The food is delicious but SO SLOW to arrive after ordering. Even when it's pretty much empty. And they really need to update the background music, the sound of silence acoustic version played on repeat the entire 30+ minutes we were there. And at least 25 of those we were waiting for the burgers.

The one in Addison is literally the best hamburger I have ever had and they are so nice. This place is rude, lazy, got my order wrong, then acted like I was the problem when I brought it up. It's no wonder that nobody is in here and the one in Addisoj never has seats open. Advice for management and ownership, go get the guy with tattoos from Addison and have him fix the culture around here. Unbelievable how an experience can be such a polar opposite in the same food chain. WILL NEVER RETURN unless it's Addison.

So I tried the Frankford Road location awhile back and absolutely loved it so of course I was elated when I found out they were opening a Frisco location. I was wondering if this one would be as good as the original and I am happy to say, it ABSOLUTELY IS!! Everything from the food to the genuine kindness of the staff is absolutely top tier. Quality and consistency?? WE LOVE TO SEE IT!! Seriously, one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered a single with cheddar cheese and a small fry. Everything was FANTASTIC!! Service was quick and the burger was so juicy and delicious. You can tell that they grind their meat on site and everything is made to order. From the patty to the toppings, it was all so incredibly fresh! The fries were perfectly salted, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. So glad they finally came to Frisco!! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!

Great customer service. Menu was easy to order from & food came out quickly. I ordered a single patty burger with grilled onions, tots & a cherry shake. The burger was good, but I felt like the meat was very thin. Tots were pretty standard. Cherry shake was a waste of calories & lacked cherry flavor.

I finally answered my friends' pleads and stopped sleeping on Sky Rocket burger. I can say it's a pretty solid burger! I thought about getting fries but decided to treat myself to tots. They were very tasty if you like tots. Crispy on the outside and potato-ey bits on the inside. Like others have said the milkshake is an expensive for what you get. It's basically a couple scoops of bluebell watered down with milk so you can drink it through a straw. I don't think I need to pay $6 for that in Texas. Notes about atmosphere: The Frisco location was quiet on a Wednesday evening, which surprised us but worked perfectly because the parking situation cannot support more than 10-15 cars. Ordering is contactless from a kiosk and then they call you to pick up at the counter. The workers are very polite and kind. The ambiance is nothing to write home about but it's clean enough. The music is a little loud but it could just be my baby ears. :)

Sky Rocket Burgers are always a treat. These greasy burgers melt in your mouth and get better with every bite. Every time I eat here, the food comes out fast and fresh, and there's plenty of seating at the Frisco location. I didn't care for their milkshakes and it's a tad expensive for what you get, but everything else got a solid A!

Frisco, we have lift off! I'm super picky about my burgers, and this place did NOT disappoint. The burger was perfectly cooked, the sesame bun was perfect, the fries + tots were divine! I felt like my food was cooked FRESH, which is something I've been missing at burger joints. If you're considering Sky Rocket Burger, take a chance on this place, and it'll take your taste buds to the moon and back. The Mexican coke paired perfectly with the burger. Finished up with a cookies + cream shake. Idk what they put in this shake, and I don't care, because it was THAT good! Great spot, excellent service, good music playlist, and a cute industrial design with the nostalgic red checkered platter papers. We will certainly be back!

This got my attention on social media, And what amazing me was a burger being dipped into a bowl of cheese...... which I found out... Was not offended at this location. So... let's lift off to the pinnacle of disappointment.. Almost every table is dirty... They don't accept cash... Bathroom is dirty... And over priced burger. What's also boggling... Is the picture of random people on the lift off wall... What's it mean??? What's it for ??

Attention! Top 3 burger I ever had! The color of the establishment is whimsical, as it should based off it's name, but you can beat the food. I had seen so many people saying great things about Sky Rockets, I was excited to go! The interior was a simple set up. Plenty of table and clean. Double meat cheese burger + bacon and grilled jalapeños for an up charge. Thin patty with crispy edges, fresh veggies, pretty greasy. Rocket style fries had lots of cheese, grilled onions, and some special sauce.... Over all they were bland. $26 for this meal and with water.... Overpriced

This location pales in comparison to the Coit/Bush location. Got the stare down from an employee, which was creepy & off-putting. There were gnats in the tea. The tots tasted like they'd been fried in old grease. And you're expected to tip 20% even though you have to walk up to place your order, pick up your order, & bus your own table.

Overpriced burger that left me feeling sick. The moment I walked in & noticed gnats flying around I should've left but I wanted to see what the hype was. I am disappointed that it was $20 per meal & even more disappointed that it left me sick which means the food is probably old. If you're considering this place .. just don't.

This spot was just okay, the burgers and fries were better than fast food but fall short of some of the other "premium" burgers places in the area. What's worse is, the prices are very very high for a burger and fries once you start adding in the stuff you want. There's simply too many better burger options in the area, so I'd skip this one.

This is a basic burger joint that does burgers, shakes and fries just about as good as anyone. It definitely gets 5 stars for the type of food it's serving, great basic burgers and fry's! Location is large and very clean, the only issue I had was the mystery 3% fee on every order and location. The location with lack of parking is a little baffling.... Why? Anyway it's a good burger joint. FYI the ice they have is awesome!

Very cold day in Jan 2023 but hot burger and tots served up. We got the single with cheese and tots. More than enough food. Glad to see the place is still open as one might think it doesn't get much business considering location. Most such restaurant are located where there is a lot of car/foot traffic. Limited parking out front so be sure to read the towing signs so you don't get towed.

Give it a try. Can't think of many legit smash burger style spots in Frisco or Dallas in general for that matter. This is definitely the one. Great service w quaint feel. Crispy patty w the melty cheese and sesame seed bun! Guilty pleasure for sure. This is my weekly cheat meal.

Nice spot especially if you're on the move for a bite. The burgers are good sized and the Triple is definitely fulfilling. Pros: good servings, clean store and easy to understand menu Cons: too salty, too oily Overall: if you're in the mood to satisfy a meat craving definitely try the place the fries are nothing to write home about but are a good compliment to the star of the plate, the burger.

I was hesitant to come, but I'm glad I did. Burgers were incredible, tots seasoned well, and made me want to go back for an Oreo/Chocolate shake! I waited 52 minutes for a burger ,fries and a self serve drink. The burger was fine but NOT worth the wait. If that sounds great to you then you should give this place a try. Bring a snack and a book while you wait.

I was pleasantly surprised when getting this burger. I had heard so many good things about this spot in Frisco, and many had positivity things to say when I asked about Skyrocket. The team in the back is quick to say hello and very attentive. I had an online order to pick up, and the restaurant looked very spacious and clean. I ordered the Junior burger, which ended up being the perfect size. Burger was everything you would want a burger to be - cooked to perfection, super flavorful, and make you want more. We also ordered the cheese fries, which we look forward to getting again. 5 star spot!

We were having a Skyrocket craving, and made the mistake of assuming this location would be as good as their original hole-in-the-wall place on Frankford. Wrong!! I simply cannot understand how a restaurant would invest all this money into a second location and be so utterly mediocre. I also cannot understand how a second location of a restaurant--presumably owned by the same individuals as the first--can be so vastly different in terms of flavor and quality of food. I've decided their second location must be a front for the sale of illegal puppies, or something. Do yourself a favor and wait until their Frankford location reopens again tomorrow (they are closed on Mondays, while this location remains open).

Warning Sky Rocket Frisco is card or Apple Pay only!! Ok review time.....I wouldn't go out of my way for this meal! The fries were on point but the burger had a lot to offer, if not for their Secret Sauce the burger wouldn't have had any taste to it at all! I've had a better experience at Whataburger for half the price! I don't know how this made the Dallas Observer as one of the Top 20 restaurants for burgers!

We've been struggling to find a good burger place with consistent quality and service. We always have the same gentleman ring us up. The burgers are amazing! Patties are ground and made onsite by hand, no frozen or pre-made/pressed. The patties are thin and crispy on the edges--I think it's plenty of meat and great consistency. I get a single or a junior with cheese and a small fry. My husband likes to do the double with a fried egg. Special sauce is delish. Fries are always fresh. Milkshakes are incredible as well, recommend the cookies n cream. We haven't had a bad experience or a wrong order yet and I don't expect we will.

Great hamburger, Huge size the service was fast. I would recommend some decoration and better seating.

The original location is so wonderful so our visit to this location was SO disappointing. The burgers were burnt as were the grilled onions. The fries were half mushy, half burnt and overly salty. The place was dead but the tables were filthy and the ketchup was empty. The location has a few spots to park out front but you are expected to park in the garage for $5

The food is always mid , I've had orders messed up repeatedly by their lack of kitchen etiquette, by the way I live right next to this place , The owner constantly has the towing company take vehicles away parked in his spot when the guy can park in the parking garage . Saw somebody get towed from a skyrocket spot yesterday so yall deserve this horrible review and your food ain't even good McDonald's better !

They have a contract with a tow trucking and take advantage of Skyhouse Residents. They have no customers and have the manager to call the trucking company to tow cars. My mom wasn't even parking in their parking spot! This place lacks integrity and has bad character. Do not support this restaurant!!!!

DISGUSTING... my husband and I stopped by tonight to get a burger. Boy I tell you it was so gross! The patty tasted like how a cow would smell. Their buns were soggy. Their French fries were gross and not crispy. It was so disappointing considering the Frankford location was amazing. Never would I come back here again. Wasted $32 ended up throwing it all away. This place does not even deserve 1 .

Oh where to begin.... Automatic 3% fee on all tickets instead of just wrapping that up in the price of the goods. Only listed in fine print on bottom of menu. Doesn't accept cash Soda's are all knock offs up to "Dr. Rocket" 1st order.... 20 mins for 1 burger and fries. Manager taking order, great conversation and service with a lot of employees in back. Only one other person in there. Meat was unusually salted; over seasoned. Fries over salted. 2nd order.... 5 mins for meal, told onions were an additional cost. Only person in the place. 3rd order... 10 mins for 3 burgers. $21 for 3 burgers, AKA more than the In-and-Out it's trying so hard to replicate. 3 total employees. There were only two people waiting in front of me on orders - place was empty. But, for my cheeseburger with nothing else on it, I got meat and bread no cheese. Went downstairs to get another one as that was for my kids. Took 20 mins to make one burger AND they put everything on it but tomatoes. So not plain like I asked or with everything on it. Cost more than Village Burger Bar that has specialty burgers

This place needs to be out of business , Yesterday they towed my car out of the Guest parking for the apartment complex , mind you they never have a full restaurant so the owner of this place is a sick individual who intentionally Calls a tow truck for his 30 parking spots that are never filled with happy customers , this place should go out of business and be replaced with a bodega or real corner store this shi ain't got to sauce on it . Trash establishment horrible cooks and even worse the ownership is stingy and selfish only thinks of himself , Leave the sky house no one likes you stop towing over 5 cars a day from the parking garage.

Not as greasy or moo'ing as I would have liked it, but this is not a gourmet/customization type of joint. Still one hell of a burger (can we use that word here?) Decided to try out the single cheese this time around. Will try the triple next time around. Buns have a nice toast to it too.

I've never had an order be so wrong as the takeout order I got from you today. I don't even know where to start other than to say I ordered two identical burgers except one with cheese and one was supposed to have no sauce (our daughter has an extreme dairy allergy). The two burgers that should have looked almost identical were completely different. One had all the veggies, one just had meat. They both had sauce on them, neither had cheese on them. The place was largely empty, and there was three cooks, so I just really am struggling to figure out how and order could be so wrong.

The burgers here are a little on the greasy side, in a very good way. It was one of the best burgers I've had! And they did not charge extra for the option of having grilled onions. I will definitely be back.

OK this is five minutes after completing my meal ........my challenge to you is try not to smile knowing you just experience something special. I got a double with grilled onion and bacon. Hands down one of my top 3 burger experiences. Remove trendy remove gourmet and insert just a good full flavored burger, along with there sky rocket fry's you have an experience registered in your tastebuds as next level freshness and flavor.

What is this service fee @ 3% ?? Are y'all for real?? Y'all don't even bring the food to us lol. Raise the prize of the burgers instead vs saying "service fee" like nah that's not ok. Then y'all ask for gratuity?? Oops.

I had heard great things about Sky Rocket Burger so was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it was subpar, and I'm being generous by giving them 3-stars. We ordered the double burger. Which really wasn't very good. The wrapper and bun were greasy/soggy, but somehow the meat was incredibly dry. The meat also had a weird texture, kind of mealy and lacked any seasoning. Many fast food burgers are better. We also tried both the regular cheese fries (mediocre), and the sky rocket fries. The latter was essentially a knockoff of In-n-out's animal style fries, except no where near as good. This in part might be due to the fact that I didn't like their secret sauce. The saving grace, and the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 or 2, we also got the grilled cheese. It was actually pretty good. All in all, go to Inn-n-out, and save money. Sky Rocket is trying to mimic their food, but doing quite a poor job of it.

I would give it 5 stars if it had Coke products instead of those awful generic drinks.

Employee used gloved hands and moved large bucket outside the front door, as the front door continued to swing open and would not remain closed. The employee then picked up trash items off ground. Employee then went to back, placed cooked fries into large bowl, salted the fries and then used same gloved hands to mix the fries by hand. I had to cancel order.

Came in today and ate, I thought the food was good until I went to the bathroom and found dead roaches on the floor. That's disgusting. I definitely won't be back.

Best burgers all around. We have been to the original location off Coit, but the Frisco is closer to us and bigger. We are huge fans of these burgers. You will not be disappointed!!!

Arrived ar 2pm and waited an hour and 15 for the food to be made. The food was decent but due to the wait , lack of customer care from the employee and the overall lack of cleanliness from the restaurant to the bathroom - i would recommend going somewhere else.

20+ minute wait for burger and fries?!? its around lunchtime during the weekday, even if the burger is fire...who the heck has 30 minutes to wait to get a burger and fries??? Do Better.

I grew up on What A Burger and will always love What A Burger. With that said, this place gave What A Burger and In/Out Burger a run for my money! I will definitely be back! And don't let the soda machine throw you for a loop...the Coke tasted just like Coke And my friend said hers tasted exactly like Dr.P

Food was awesome! BUT, they are cashless and I don't even have a credit card. Glad family was with me to pay but as much as I love the food I doubt I'll return because of the cashless only. However, they have a tip jar on the counter for CASH TIPS!!!!!!

I'll start this review by saying. This. Is personal. I live right above this location so during construction in the middle of the workplace by walls would rattle and create a noise so loud and obnoxious it was impossible to do any work or even hear someone in a zoom meeting. Or take a bath since it rattle the bathtub as well. This I told myself I would review this place as soon as possible. Ultimately the burger was rather average. Better than McDonald's not anything compared to a good village burger bar meal. Honestly it's an overpriced in and out burger. Which is funny since usually you think calis are the overpriced ones. Burger is 2x ish the price of in and out. Menus are the extremely similar. Except this one Nickel and dimes you for every item out of the basics you want to add to your burger. Including onions. They have their own version of animal style. AND Beside being more expensive. They add a 3% service fee. As I live in the building I get 10% off. Which is really only 7% off when you include the service fee. Which I didn't even get when I most recently went #rude. Burger is okay. But honestly not much better than in and out burger that's a 5 minute drive away just on Preston. And definitely not worth the comparative price. Wait time varies based on crowd. I will say it was good for me but I was also the only person inside when I went in. So....if it took 20+ minutes it would be ridiculous. Only real leverage they have to in and out is that they have more flavors for their shakes and ice cream option. So if you care about that, yeah it's okay. Or you can get in and out and swing by the grocery store for a 16 oz tub of bluebell and it'll cost less than a shake and burger here. UPDATE: I went again because my brother wanted to try it. I ordered a plain burger with cheese for my siblings. AND THEY FORGOT THE CHEESE. they only needed to put two items on the burger and they forgot one. And still charged me for cheese.

All of our burgers (5 of them) were mostly little flat charred crisps. My husband's was so bad he sent it back. It was early dinner time on a Sunday and they only had 2 people working in the entire place so the wait for food was incredibly long. This was our first visit and we were looking forward to a burger like on their instagram but after the long wait we were sorely disappointed. These were the worst burgers we've ever had. McDonald's would have been better and we don't even like that place. We will NOT be back.
