SkyCity Auckland

While visiting Auckland, New Zealand, we had the pleasure of staying at SkyCity Hotel. From the front desk staff to the cleaning staff; you were served with total consideration for your comfort and enjoyment of their facility. Our room was spacious, totally clean, & very comfortable. The bed and linens were warm and supportive. We enjoyed the smooth coffee provided in the room in the mornings along with refrigerated milk. An add bonus I especially enjoyed! The lavatory amenities with a large walk-in shower just added to our pampered stay. The room was very quiet to sleep in and no fan or other guest noise was noticed. Any request was attended to quickly with smiling energetic staff. We want to Thank Aiden for all the attentive help he gave us during our stay!!! An exemplary shout out to the management for leading your staff to be one of the BEST serviced hotels I have ever visited!!! AWESOME JOB!!

Handy spot for where we needed to be. Rooms a great size and very comfortable. Only down side was the fact that reception staff seems lacking in knowledge regarding a request on my booking. Supervisor wasn't helpful even after spending 2 days trying to rectify the issue. Ruined our trip and won't be staying there again. Casino staff upstairs and the housekeeping staff very helpful. Front of desk needs some work.Can only suggest if you have an agreed promotion that you check it will be adhered to.

When we got to Auckland it was 9am. We had just flown in and had all our luggage with us. We were worried we would have to lug it around with us until we could check in at 3pm. The hotel was excellent, not only did they let us check in at 9am, they also upgraded our room when they discovered we were on our honeymoon. The room was very spacious, and clean. Also had all the amenities you could ever need. Centrally located in the heart of everything, we are very happy we stayed here, perfect spot for our trip to Auckland

Another wonderful stay at SkyCity Hotel. Exceptional customer service provided by all reception staff especially Bianca Guevarra in guest relations. Bianca went out of her way to ensure we are valued here and our preferences met. Also the housekeeping team are very friendly and helpful too. Rooms are very clean and well appointed. Our stay was pleasant and the room was great. It was central to ALL we wanted to do for our first week of vacation in New Zealand. Aiden, at the concierge desk, went above and beyond to help us with a few crucial details that we needed to coordinate life across the world from our home in Canada. He made the single biggest difference to our stay. Thank you Aiden!!

I'm a bit late writing this review as we stayed a few months ago but I highly recommend staying here. It's in a great location right next to the sky tower and a short stroll into the centre of Auckland. The hotel is very modern, staff are very helpful and our room was spacious and immaculate. It was a nice touch to be greeted with a fruit platter on our arrival especially after an overnight flight from Seoul. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellent. Loved the bathroom. Intelligent layout and great features. |Loved the personal touch of my name being on the TV when I entered the room.

We stayed at The Grand, was a lovely experience, staff really friendly and room so lovely and very clean. We went to Sky bar for pre drinks, staff amazing!!! Patrick was our server, such an amazing personality definitely made our experience a gr8 one. Then we did dinner in Orbit, wow their menu is amazing, service was lovely we had Anna wait on us and she was lovely and friendly. Food was spectacular, the entree size would of been a good main for me. Absolutely well worth going.
